I've always pictured Grimm as someone who's all business. And his business is to beat the crap out of everyone, win or lose. He doesn't care if people boo him or cheer him (which people usually respect and cheer him). Also, he likes his job- at least the beating the crap out of people part. But it's his ruthlessness that marks him as a heel in my opinion.

The hardest part about being a heel is when you were a face for over five years and you're trying so hard to be an asshole. Tell me about it... Stormm was created about 10 years ago and was face for a majority of that. Heel has never been my forté, despite being kind of an ass IRL.

I think I play JV heel pretty well because I am nothing like him IRL. He's everything I loathe and it makes him easy to write.
...and now that I'm feeling better, I think I'll turn the first of my two outlines into something entertaining...
