The whole Brochamp situation just makes me laugh, because, well, I "know"!

The whole Brochamp situation just makes me laugh, because, well, I "know"! Single most unhelpful remark of the entire situation, and that includes the near flame war going on in the other thread.

Let's keep this thread for results feedback guys. I've already said I'll be addressing Brochamp tonight.

So..... how about those results, eh? They were brilliant. I loved every minute of reading them. Everyone who contributed to LAL should be proud of what we made. It's an awesome PPV

Meant to post these last night, but I fell asleep before 9:00. (Get off my lawn!) Anyways, here goes:
-Awesome intro. Liked the Bradbury. Despite the intro, it kinda felt like the PPV just jumped right into the opening match...which it did. I was expecting some sort of segment. I'm glad it went right to a match, actually.
Michael Wryght vs. Justin Michaels
-Okay, Mikey grabbing the mic and telling them to cut Stormm's “shitty” music made me laugh out loud! And we also get a trademark Michaels Sigh. This segment did a good job of pushing the story, furthering the angle, and adding heat to the match. A mat classic, as they'd call this one. Both guys looked very strong. Both guys exhibited technical mastery. And Stormm was kept strong with the dirty finish. Congratulations to Stormm on a long and successful title run and congratulations to Showtime for becoming a grand slam champion!
-Orin and Saniti? A wonderfully written segment. The setup. Nathan hiding devilishly in the darkness. And of course, what in the hell did they talk about?! Color me interested, but with this and what happened at the last Trauma, I'm starting to wonder what that damn magician is up to...
NCM vs. Joka
-So we've got one of my all-time favorite characters in NCM facing one of my new favorite characters in Joka. This should be good. Hard hitting match right off the bat. I love it when Jerry says “Oh come on!” It's kinda his catchphrase. I love seeing guys slammed onto the exposed, cold, hard concrete! This match is just insane with outside the ring beatings! Love how this match and the last match really sell the fatigue factor of the IIT and put such an emphasis on how grueling of a task it is to win it. Really makes it seem like something special. Nice high impact tradeoff moves there at the end and a nice clean finish for NCM. One helluva match!
-And in the crowd we have...TUHA?! Could the return be in the works? If so, TUHA vs. the Hangtown Horrors for ultimate tag team supremacy would have to take place at some point!
-Lunatic?! Well, his physical description is definitely interesting and has gotten my attention. And PM5K is an awesome song choice. Love “Nobody's Real”. Awesome CD. … Okay, that was definitely entertaining. Using Ace's head as a bongo while chanting made me laugh. This guy reminds me of Q with his strangeness.
Nine Person Ladder Match
-Ha ha! Can't believe Whitey Ford actually showed up to cheer on Buck Brochamp! Good stuff! Ooh! A Judge appearance. AND a Cory Steel appearance! I miss THE BEAR, dammit! Hope you come back soon, man! The commentary about Seth getting hit in his pretty face was great. Brochamp is going for the belt first?! You've gotta be kidding me. Sweet DDT spot from the Nobodies on Crazy Boy. Lunatic is back! I'm really starting to like this guy. Especially when he doles out a run-by chairshot! Badass! The commentary for this match is spot on. And Lunatic is back throwing chairs into the ring! HA HA HA! This is awesome! Man, if only Brochamp wouldn't have shown off for the ladies, he might have won the prize... Thankfully Alexa came through on her end and gave him what he deserved. Big congratulations to High Tide for outlasting a huge field of competitors. That match kicked all kinds of ass.
-Oh. I guess Alexa is refusing to go quietly. Now she's crazy AND a thief!
LoKi vs. Grimm
-This should be a good one. Damn. This is a straight up brawl. FUTURE MRS. GRIMM!!! Ha ha ha! Hey! What the hell is Stormm doing out there?! Uh oh...a double countout? No! Mr. Foley with the save and we've got a no DQ contest on our hands now. Oh boy! Grimm's got a shovel. This was the epitome of a back and forth contest, and Grimm takes the match very convincingly with the legal use of said shovel!
-Ha ha! Alexa Black with an old fashioned written note to Foley. Very sneaky plan by a suspended Alexa Black. I like it.
Saniti vs. Starr
-Interesting start to this match with the champion going to up and leave. Nice psychology of Nathan not wanting to hurt Kelli and Kelli trying to provoke Nathan to fight. Nathan was smart to try to get Kelli counted out rather than risk injuring her. A devious finish by Kelli Starr and a big win for her over a top notch opponent!
-Interesting interaction between Kelli and Sadistic backstage. Now we're starting to see what's going on between Kelli and Sadistic. Only...that wasn't Sadistic! It was Nathan Saniti! The magician is stooping to the Black Hand's level to get the information he needs. Another well-written segment.
Sadistic vs. Gem vs. Eira
-The running gag of Ace Anderson claiming each match is his most anticipated of the evening is prety funny. I was really nervous for this match. Eira put up an awesome roleplay. Gem put up an awesome roleplay with a huge buildup and some big returning characters. The lack of reaction for Lantlas and Nacho kinda sucked, but sending in a custom entrance may have been the route to go to prevent any unforeseen hiccups. Good start to the match. I can't believe Sadistic was busted open! Sadistic and Eira forming an alliance mid-match was sweet. Oh! Eira! You trollop! Double crossing me like that! Whoa! Chairshot busts Gem open! Grimm is out! Lantlas and Nacho make the save! Thank you Showtime for having my back! Damn! Eira is the first one out! I guess I'd be surprised regardless of who the first one out was. And now Stormm is out?! What the hell is he doing out here?! ...ah ha ha ha! Stormm is with the Black Hand! Spectacular finish to this one. Once Gem kicked out of the first Sadistic DDT, I would have bet money she was going to win the match. The finish surprised the hell out of me. I thought Gem still came out looking strong. I thought Eira should have looked a little stronger than she did. All in all, a damn good match!
NCM vs. Showtime
-Now it's time for the big finals showdown! Great intro to this one. How dare they throw Perfection out of the match! Oh! Back to Madness through the table! Crazy match with some good offensive spots. Good build to the finish. Nice to see another clean finish and congratulations to NCM for winning the TIIT! Sadistic comes out to stare at NCM. Is this the upcoming title match?
--All around, this show kicked ass! Just when I think we've put up a PPV that will be impossible to top, we top it. I don't know how, but it happens. The roleplays for this cycle were out of this world and Rick did a badass job of picking up the slack AND getting the card hammered out in a timely manner. Major thank you to Majors. Loved the show. 10 out of 10.
