Disregarding my previous comment, I actually voted to keep the NA.
Here's my reasoning. Ive always thought titles should increase in size as they do in prestige if you're using geographical names.
So the World naturally comes at the top. Then a name of a continent. Then a nation. To me, calling the second title 'international' or 'intercontinental' has the same connotation as 'world'. It makes it an equal, rather than a lower title.
North American just makes more sense to me as a step back from the World title.

If I'm being serious though, I think we need more Hardcore stuff in PCW (but I think I've been saying that since I joined because nothing tickles my fancy like reading/writing crazy matches like that). Otherwise I think it makes sense to make it a new belt. If we have to keep one I'd say keep the IC and can always reintroduce the NA if that's ever something needed. Edit: Was not on the last page of comments woops. I can totally see that argument for the NA. (Always wondered what the difference between IC and World was name wise.) I had a great joke idea, unveil a new belt, and it's literally just that, a belt for holding up your pants. Call it "The Belt". Haha

I don't necessarily view the International title as a representation of every nation like the World title does, but as one where the champion holding the title represents whatever nation they came from. In which case, it does keep it at a slightly lesser level than the World title. If anything, I kind of think merging the NA title INTO the IN title makes the most sense, since the NA title could be viewed as redundant if you look at it how I see the IN title and all that. Also, making a completely new belt means I'd probably need to design a new belt. LoL EDIT: Also, I feel like there's enough prestige built over the years for both titles, that getting rid of them for a brand new title would kind of hurt the new title in the process. $0.02

I wonder how many of them PCW Points I'd get for that? LoL I'll keep doing graphics and such until I accumulate enough points to just come back for a World title shot and disappear again!

Here's one, "Air Raid" Championship which would be for those who are 220 lbs. and below only, it could be the PCW version of the X division or Cruiserweight/ Welterweight etc. version for PCW?

If we had enough people for such a division, then it'd be worth considering. Right now, obviously, we don't. I do like your ideas though.

yeah, any division which would exclude people from partaking after the belt is actually not a good thing in e-wrestling as there seems to be phases were certain things are popular for characters and you could end up with someone holding a belt because there's nobody else who is eligible to compete, or worse, the belt sits vacant because there's nobody eligible to compete.
Here's a screwball of an idea. Merge them into the Genesis belt. Drop the whole "must be defended each show" part which the Underground Title took, the rest of the rules are all fluff and filler anyway and don't have any bearing on the belt from an RP perspective, but you'd then have 3 different belts with different rules around them
Side note 1: On the whole International debate, I saw it as NA was 1 country, International was Many Countries, world was ALL OF THE COUNTRIES... so there was escalation there in my eyes.
Side note 2: High Tide needs to run "the Belt" as his next gimmick.

Genesis has a nice ring to it and I like that idea as well with the 3 title combined thing.
As for my Air Raid idea the idea came up after having considered joining another fed which uses the divisions thing, though they only do monthly shows so it works but yea I do like the Genesis belt idea lol.

If the Genesis title hadn't been put on hold specifically for the Underground, I'd kind of be okay with that idea.
I still think one of the two titles should stick around. Merging them into one or the other helps keep the prestige of the "mid-card" title, without burying it into a brand new title.
The championship picture in PCW, to me, has kind of been a bit rocky (minus the World title) for several years now, with the coming and going of the Tag titles a couple times, bringing back and then deactivating the Genesis title (again) in favor of the "hardcore" Underground title, and now a smaller roster incapable of sustaining 4 singles titles, and talk of bringing in a new title as well?
This is, of course, the outside looking in, since I'm not active right now, but I don't think what PCW needs is a new title, but a bigger focus on one of the already active titles.

Imo the International title has never been as prestigious as the North American despite being the second highest belt in the company. I vote we keep the North American.

Imo the International title has never been as prestigious as the North American despite being the second highest belt in the company. I vote we keep the North American. I'm okay with this as well. PCW has always been "territorial" to the US, despite having a world-wide audience, so keeping the NA title is definitely a viable option here as well. (See: Territorial in the sense that they don't venture outside of the PCW Arena very frequently, despite being broadcast in more than just the Eastern US.)

Seeing as "create a new title" won the poll, I'm curious if the lineage from both the INT and NA would carry over? Or if a new history starts upon introduction.

I'm actually a little disappointed in PCW that "make a whole new title" won the poll. Almost 50% of the vote dismissing the history of 2 long-standing titles in the fed and all.

Just because the poll said one thing doesn't mean that's what we have to do. Just sayin. Whats the point of power if you don't abuse it from time to time.

I wasn't suggesting that the poll be the be all end all when it came to the final decision, just stating my feelings on the final tally.

Has anyone beaten my streak for holding the international title?
If the answer is no, retire that bitch so I can hold the record forever. We'll talk about retiring the World Title in a year or so.
