Pure Class Wrestling Presents
Mass Destruction XI
Sunday February 28th, 2021
Only on the PCW Network
"You gotta go with your flow
Your fate will be your own
I feel the same,
I’ll give myself inside out to achieve my dreams
And I’m just getting started
No regrets,
I’ll give myself inside out to achieve my dreams
I won’t go down
Unstoppable
Your fate will be your own
Yeah your own
I feel the same,
I’ll give myself inside out to achieve my dreams
And I’m just getting started
No regrets,
My journey will keep going on and on
I won’t go down"
The show opens, as usual, with an incredible crowd at the Pure Class Arena ready to go!
Jerry Andrews: Welcome everyone to an absolutely HUGE night in Pure Class Wrestling history! Welcome to Mass Destruction XI! I am your host Jerry Andrews as usual, and with me of course is the man himself, Ace Anderson!
Ace Anderson: Mass Destruction XI! I cannot believe we're here! What a night this is going to be!
Jerry Andrews: And let's kick things off with a rather unique contest. Rick Majors will defend his Genesis Championship but none of us know who he will be facing!
The lights go out. The crowd cheers instinctively before eventually falling silent. Suddenly the sound of guitars pierce through the silence. "Wastelands" by Linkin Park begins to boom throughout the arena, the lights in the building flashing along with the drum beat of the song. Then, from the entrance way, steps Rick Majors.
Wearing a black denim military jacket, a grey t-shirt, and jeans, Rick Majors pauses for a moment and looks down briefly. He then looks up and starts to make his way to the ring.
The lights in the arena burst on fully as the song's chorus hits.
In the wastelands of today,
When there's nothing left to lose,
And there's nothing more to take,
But you force yourself to choose,
In the wastelands of today,
When tomorrow disappears
When the future slips away,
And your hope turns into fear,
In the wastelands of today.
Majors climbs the ring steps and pauses. He turns towards the crowd, standing on the ring apron for a moment before entering the ring. Majors stands in the centre of the ring, looking out towards the crowd.
Jerry Andrews: Let’s see who steps up to take on Rick Majors here tonight.
Ace Anderson: I’ll admit, he’s had a pretty good run with the Genesis Title, but facing an unknown opponent tonight? I think that run is going to end.
The building is buzzing as everyone waits to see who will be stepping through the curtain.
Then, a saucy, southern beat hit the speakers of the PCW arena, bringing the “Mooshine Bandits” though the curtain, Bird and Tex each went to opposite sides of the stage with microphones in hand.
“Whoa!”
The PCW Faithful bobbed along as the duo spit a hot verse while welcoming Stace Matthews to join them atop the ramp.
“She’s Hell on heels, her attitude; smokin’ hot, with a short fuse.-
-Down by the ring, she’s bad news; walks on the wild side, she’s got the moves.”
Sparkling diamonds and gold decorate her ears, neck, wrist, and hands; otherwise, stylish black heels and a form-hugging black dress. A fashion-show winner, hands down, but just as surely, she’s isn’t dressed to take part in any wrestling action.
“Doors were closed, so she kicked them in...“
The Bandits continued to rap and roll with their groovy beat as Stace started down the ramp to the ring. She slapped hands, bumped fists, and dapped elbows with fans as she went. She shared hugs with a set of twins seated in a group of kids at the foot of the ramp and then she took a selfie, kissing the cheek of a lucky fan at ringside, before taking the steps to the ring apron.
Jerry Andrews: Stace Matthews is here!
Eric Russo held the ropes for her, helping her enter the ring. A flood of emotion as she stood in the center of the PCW ring with the Faithful standing at full volume in a mix of chants, including “Made-In-Texas”, “J-V”, and some overexcited fan in the back yelled, “Show me your ???”, but finally, in unison, “Thank-You-Stace!”
Stace: Thank you to the PCW Faithful for decades of success, fun, and family-in-friends. It was January, oh-six, when Johnny signed with PCW. I figured this would be like any other contract, but it was the first time he allowed me to come out to the ring with him. My roots in this business are deep, but my start was right here! With all of you!
Jerry Andrews: And it’s definitely great seeing her back in PCW!
She allowed the crowd to cheer, taking a much-needed breath as she gathered her moxie to continue.
Stace: A month later, at Mass Destruction, after Johnny won the North American Championship, he thanked me. Not for helping him win the title, you know, but for being there to cheer him on and give him the confidence he needed. With Johnny, it was easy. Our hearts beat simultaneously, you know?
Jerry Andrews: Johnny Matthews was a true PCW legend. We all think about him often.
“THANK-YOU-JOHN-NY!”
Stace: Tonight, I have returned to PCW, at Mass Destruction, to see another young man to a championship. A kid that needs some positive reinforcement to see his talents can carry him to his destiny. While Rick Majors has earned and deserved to be a champion at all levels, like PCW, it’s time he passed the torch to the new generation.
The crowd was mixed, Majors being a respected champion with a consistent record while Stace’s new charge is a young man that didn’t fair to well in his last PCW match and hasn’t been seen since.
Stace: That being said, let me bring out the next PCW Genesis Champion, wrestling out of Boneshaker’s Gym in Sturgis, South Dakota, he dwarfs his opponent tonight at six-foot-seven and two-hundred eighty-five pounds, he is “THE KODIAK” HUNTER BENJAMIN!
A thundering roar rumbled the empty seats of the arena as the crowd stood in ovation, bringing Hunter through the curtain with sudden explosiveness. Black and white trim, from his headgear, and wrestling singlet, to his mat shoes, and he was ripped. Not the pudgy cub the Faithful remembered, no, this was a snarling grizzly cut from granite.
Ace Anderson: Hunter Benjamin is back! And just look at him! He’s looks incredible!
Jerry Andrews: I think you might have been right when you said this could be Majors’ last night with the title.
Hunter waste no time getting down to the ring with a determined focus on his brow and insatiable hunger in his eyes. In one bound, Hunter was on the apron and stepping over the top rope to join Stace in the ring. Stace handed the microphone back to Sasha Greene and backed into the far corner with Hunter awaiting the match.
The two men stare at one another, awaiting the bell. Instead….
"Gold on the Ceiling" by The Black Keys begins to blare over the P.A. system and the arena darkens.
Jerry Andrews: No way! NO WAY!
A single spotlight begins to shine on the entrance way illumination none other than “Mr. Showtime” Michael Wryght. He is wearing a long black and silver sleeveless robe. He stands there with his back to the ring and his arms crossed. The back of the robe is exposed with the words in blue and silver “Mr. Showtime.” Showtime slowly walks, looking more weary and worn from the last time he was in a PCW ring, as the only light in the arena follows him to the ring.
Jerry Andrews: The Hall of Famer is back!
Ace Anderson: Is he going to be in this match!?
He walks up the stairs and whips off his feet on the outside apron. He ducks under the top rope and two other spotlights shoot on him he spins and puts his arms out. He slowly makes his way to the corner crossing his wrists, with is fingers are lock making a “W.” He pulls his arms down setting off some small pyros behind him, which also begins the lights to return to the arena.
Jerry Andrews: It looks like this is going an even tougher battle for Rick Majors! In a triple threat match, he doesn’t need to be the one defeated to lose his championship!
The three men prepare themselves and the bell rings.

There’s a tentative start to the match as none of these people have exactly prepared for this situation. All three men circle, looking for an opportunity, but not wanting to take an unnecessary risk. The hesitancy doesn’t last long however, as both Showtime and Benjamin attack Majors!
Ace Anderson: Going after the champ is a smart strategy! If these two take him out, they can fight one-on-one for his title!
Majors tries to battle back, but he’s overwhelmed by the assault. He’s eventually dropped down to the mat, where he then rolls under the bottom rope and out of the ring.
Jerry Andrews: Normally, I’d say that was a wise move by Majors, but if he’s outside the ring, he could still lose the title.
Ace Anderson: At least he’s not still getting beaten up!
Wryght and Benjamin lock up. Wryght tries to get Benjamin into a headlock, but he powers out. He then goes behind Showtime and hits him with a BIG belly to back suplex! Showtime gets to his feet slowly and Benjamin comes at him with a clothesline. Wryght ducks it, then grabs him and hits a hangman’s neckbreaker! Showtime pulls Benjamin up, but Benjamin shoves him backwards. The two lock up again.
Jerry Andrews: These are two very skilled technical talents here in the ring!
Benjamin gets the advantage and he takes Showtime up, hitting him with a snap vertical suplex. As Hunter stands up, Majors is back in the ring and he takes him down with a running clothesline. Majors now tries to lock Benjamin into an arm bar on the canvas, but Benjamin struggles free. He adjusts his body, getting behind Majors and locking him into a rear naked choke. Majors fights to free himself, but he’s helped by Showtime who stomps on the Kodiak to break up the move.
Ace Anderson: Triple threat matches are so dangerous! You need to have eyes in the back of your head!
Showtime pulls Majors up now, lifting him up and connecting with a single arm DDT! He can’t take advantage of the situation, however, as Benjamin grabs him from behind, lifts him up, and hits a full nelson bomb!
Jerry Andrews: Hunter Benjamin is such a dangerous mix of size and technique, and now with Stace Matthews on his side, you have to believe he’ll be even more effective!
Again, it’s impossible for any competitor to get a real advantage in the match. As Benjamin stands up, Majors takes his knee out from under him with a chop block. He then tries to lock him into a figure four, but Benjamin kicks him away. Majors tries again, but Benjamin grabs his arm. Adjusting himself, he manages to lock the Genesis Champion in a Fujiwara armbar! The move doesn’t last long, however, as Michael Wryght breaks it up. Showtime now pulls Benjamin up and he throw him into the corner. Wryght charges in, but Benjamin gets his feet up and kicks Showtime right in the face! Hunter then grabs him and throws him into the corner. Showtime falls to the mat and slumps down, seated against the turnbuckle. Stace Matthews looks on from the outside.
Jerry Andrews: You have to believe Buddy Winchester would have involved himself in the match at this point, but Stace seems to just be standing back and watching.
Ace Anderson: I feel like she trusts Benjamin to make the right move.
Before he can, however, Majors is back up and he grabs him from behind. Benjamin breaks free, gets behind Rick, and hits a bridging German suplex! He can’t even get a one count though, as Michael Wryght breaks it up. Showtime pulls Hunter Benjamin up and he throws him through the ropes to the outside. He hits with a thud. Immediately, Wryght is on Majors, hitting him with several stomps. He then drops an elbow and goes for a quick cover, getting a one count.
Ace Anderson: Showtime trying to take advantage while Hunter Benjamin is out of the ring, but it’s still too early in this one.
Showtime pulls Majors up. He goes for a suplex, but Rick Majors adjusts his weight and lands on his feet behind Showtime. He then turns Wryght around and hits him with a knee smash to the face. Benjamin is back up and he clubs Majors from behind. Rick staggers then turns around to face his opponent. Another heavy shot from Hunter. Rick fires back with a stinging strike to the face. A wild bomb from Benjamin sends him stumbling back. As another strong shot comes, Majors steps to the side and hits him with a roundhouse to the stomach. He tries for another, but Benjamin swats it out of the way and returns fire with a massive forearm to the face. Majors falls to the mat in a heap.
Jerry Andrews: Ouch! That almost knocked him into next week!
Showtime is up and he hits him with a shuffle back kick. He then takes Benjamin down with a shortarm clothesline. Wryght grabs Benjamin’s left leg and locks him into a single leg crab! With Majors still reeling from the strikes earlier, the referee goes to check on Benjamin, looking for a possible submission. The Kodiak struggles, but manages to push up with his arms, powering out of the move! Showtime grabs his legs once more, but Benjamin kicks free and rolls over onto his back. As Wryght reaches for him, Benjamin wraps his legs around him, grabs his arm, and locks him into a triangle submission hold!
Ace Anderson: He’s got it locked in!
Jerry Andrews: What a technical display from these guys so far… and Majors breaks it up!
Rick Majors grabs Benjamin and he throws him into the corner. He then pulls up Wryght. Showtime swings at him, but Majors ducks it and takes him down with a tackle! He then brings him to his feet again and connects with a DDT! Before Majors can capitalize, Hunter Benjamin grabs him from behind and he hits a German suplex. Hunter now kicks Showtime several times, sending him rolling out of the ring to the outside.
Ace Anderson: Smart move! Hunter Benjamin has Majors all to himself now!
The Kodiak turns his attention back to Majors, who is getting up to his feet. Majors ducks a running clothesline then grabs his arm, wrenches it, and hits a hook kick to the back of Benjamin’s head. Hunter stumbles into the center of the ring. Majors ducks around behind and goes to the ropes. Chop block! The champion takes his young challenger down to one knee, but doesn’t stop his momentum. Majors from the far ropes, but Hunter plants both of his giant paws in Majors’ chest, stopping him from making impact with the intended running clothesline. Majors immediately changes gears, spinning and planting his foot into the side of Hunter’s head…The Center of Attention!
Jerry Andrews: Boom!
Hunter stumbles, but up not down. Majors rocks him with another, yet still Hunter climbs up to his feet. A third consecutive kick hit low brings the big guy forward for Majors to hook him up and drop him…. Tainted Excellence!
Ace Anderson: A cover!
1….
2….
Benjamin kicks out!
Jerry Andrews: Impressive kick out! I thought this one was over!
Majors is about to pull Benjamin up again, but Showtime hits him from behind with a forearm to the back. And another. And another. Michael Wryght now grabs him from behind and delivers a belly-to-back suplex! He now pulls Majors up and backs him into the corner. A huge European uppercut leaves him reeling. And another! Majors falls to the mat in a heap! Michael Wryght pulls him up, drags him to the center of the ring and…
Jerry Andrews: THE SWEETNESS!
Ace Anderson: The cover! We’re going to have a new champion!
1….
2….
Jerry Andrews: HUNTER BENJAMIN WITH THE SAVE!
Benjamin stands up. He looks over to Stace Matthews for direction, but she doesn’t seem to provide any. That brief pause gives Wryght the opportunity to hit a big clothesline to the back of Benjamin’s head! He now grabs him and drops him with a suplex. He pulls him up and tries for another, but Benjamin reverses and hits a suplex of his own! He then sets Showtime up….
Jerry Andrews: POWERBOMB!
The cover:
1….
2…
Ace Anderson: Rick Majors breaks up the count!
Majors grabs Hunter Benjamin now and he slugs him in the face, staggering him. Benjamin fires back with a wild blow, but Majors ducks it and elbows him in the stomach. Majors now grabs him by the head and slams him face-first into the turnbuckle. He then does it again, before pulling him out and rocking him with two elbow strikes to the head.
Jerry Andrews: Majors just trying to brawl his way to victory here!
Ace Anderson: Hunter Benjamin’s a big, strong guy, but he’s also an amateur wrestling champion. Maybe brawling him is the way to go rather than trying to out wrestle him!
There’s no time to see for sure, as Michael Wryght takes Majors’ legs out from behind. With Benjamin slumped in the corner, Showtime grabs Majors and he tries to lock his legs….
Jerry Andrews: Looking for that Texas Cloverleaf I believe…
Ace Anderson: If he gets Majors into the Spotlight, this match is over, and Majors knows it. He’s fighting with everything he has!
Finally, Rick Majors manages to kick Showtime away. He quickly gets up and takes Wryght down with a running clothesline. He then lifts him up and hits a brainbuster! Majors goes for a cover, but Wryght kicks out at two! As Majors stands up, he’s grabbed from behind by Benjamin!
Jerry Andrews: OVERHEAD BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX!
Majors crumples into a heap on the mat! Benjamin sets him up…. BALDO BOMB!
Before Benjamin can cover him, Showtime takes him down from behind! Michael Wryght pulls Benjamin up… but the big man shoves him away! Short-arm clothesline takes Wryght down. Benjamin pulls him up and he throws him into the corner. Wryght staggers out. Benjamin runs at him with a clothesline. Wryght dodges it and tackles him down to the mat! He unloads with several forearms to the head as Hunter Benjamin covers up. Wryght stands up and Majors kicks him in the stomach, slumping him over! He locks him into a double underhook position, looking for the Major Impact, but Wryght battles out! He stands up and shoves Majors backwards then takes him down with a Lou Thez press! As Wryght stands up, Benjamin grabs him and hits a suplex! Benjamin pulls him up, but Wryght hits a chinbreaker! He then kicks him in the stomach and hits a single arm DDT!
A cover…. and it’s broken up by Majors before two! Majors pulls Showtime up. Showtime kicks him in the stomach and now HE gets a single arm DDT!
Jerry Andrews: Showtime certainly not showing any ring rust despite his time away. He's as sharp as ever!
Another cover… and this time Benjamin breaks it up! Hunter Benjamin grabs Showtime and he throws him through the ropes. Wryght hits the floor with a thud! Benjamin briefly looks to Stace Matthews, then turns his attention to Majors who is still down on the mat. He reaches down to pull him up… but Majors rolls him up!

3!!!
Ace Anderson: What!?
Jerry Andrews: He got him!
Michael Wryght returns to the ring but it’s too late. The bell rings and Rick Majors is handed the Genesis Title.
Jerry Andrews: Rick Majors escapes with the title!
Ace Anderson: I can’t believe it!
Jerry Andrews: Well folks, while we set up for our next match here tonight, let’s talk about our main event, which is coming up next. Three men will battle it out for the Pure Class Wrestling World Championship and what a match it will be!
Ace Anderson: That’s right! This match will pit the current World Champion against the most recent Icemann Invitational Tournament winner AND the most recent Deadly Rumble winner!
Jerry Andrews: It could honestly be one of the biggest challenges a reigning champion has faced in years… and don’t forget, like our last match, the champion doesn’t have to be pinned or submitted to lose the title!
The Genesis match is one for the books, and Showtime makes his way up the ramp to the adulation of the audience. After all this time, they hadn’t forgotten him. Stepping through the curtain to the backstage area, he’d like nothing more than to take a seat in his locker room and really think about what he just took part in. To let it all sink in before the outside world pulled him in all directions. It had been years since he last stepped into that ring, but tonight felt as if he’d never left. He’d given it all he had. And now, still hopped up on adrenaline, Showtime sees someone who brings a smile to his face. There stands Grimm. Not in shadow, not under a gently swaying flickering bulb, but right there in the open for all to see. Stalwart ally and arch-enemy all rolled into one.
It was safe to say theirs was a complicated relationship. And they didn’t even have the blood ties like Grimm and Sadistic to explain it.
“Well, Michael, I guess if you had to come back, that wasn’t too shabby of a return.”
“I’m not going to lie, it felt good to be back out there. The cheer of the crowd, the spotlight, and that rush of being in the heat of battle. It makes you feel alive again. It’s not a feeling I’ve had in awhile, you know?”
“Yep, about time you embraced that fight. After, what is it…going on something like 22 years now? And to think it started way back in EKW. You can’t ignore the call of that ring. All those matches between then and now. That Pain of Glass match. All those attempted strangulations and dislocations. The countless Lament Configurations and Foddershocks and Harvests…”
“All those Spotlights and Sweetnesses,” Showtime says as a reminder, and to not be outdone.
“That time Granny drugged you and made you think you were me.”
“That was a wild trip she put me through. Being in your head is a scary ass place, or at least my version of it was. I kidnapped Rose trying to protect her from you, or was it me? Or it was you but I thought you were me and I was you, I’m not really sure I ever fully shook the cobwebs out there. And don’t think I’ve completely forgiven you for stabbing me in the face during that pain of glass match,” Showtime says narrowing his eyes with a flint of his cocky half smile.
Grimm smiles and shakes his head. “We’ve sure had some good times, haven’t we?”
“Good times indeed. Feeling good about tonight? I don’t know much about this Gerry fella, but Stormy can be a bit of a handful. It wasn’t too long back that he was running with us in the Black Hand, or it doesn't seem all that long ago I was butting heads with him during the Marshall’s Law days.”
Grimm sighs. “Other than you and Billy, I guess I’ve spent more time in this business with Justin than about anyone else. And even though Gerry may not be as long-in-the-tooth as us, I think I’ve probably faced him in as many high profile matches as anyone else in PCW. Between the three of us, I reckon tonight’s about evening scores. And maybe making final statements.”
“Uh…and the World Title, Phinehas.”
“Well, yeah. That’s implied,” he says with a narrowing of those pale blue eyes. “So, what’s next?”
“I wouldn’t mind getting back in the ring again, but I don’t really know man. I still haven’t heard from Perfection and I'm worried. The house is gone and so is my family. I feel like some sort of drifting nomad. I’m going to do what it takes to find them and then I guess rebuild. I just hope they were able to get out before the Hand got to them like they did me.”
Grimm aims that stare of his directly into Showtime. “The Black Hand is done.”
“I wish I could be so confident. They had me down in that hole a while, and their root grew deep. You never know who is mixed up with them.”
“Their stragglers will be dealt with, if any of them have such poor judgement as to show themselves now. And you know I’ll help in any way that I can...by any means necessary. You’ve got the full resources of the Dillingers at your side.”
Phinehas and Michael shake hands and clap each other on the shoulders. A nod from each in recognition of their shared histories and mutual respect, no matter what unspeakable violence they’ve unleashed on one other in the name of competition.
Grimm starts to walk away to get ready for his own match, and as he does he says, “Don’t be a stranger, Mikey.
“Wouldn’t dream of it.”
Jerry Andrews: Wow... what a reunion we just saw. And, of course, Grimm will be in our main event tonight, challenging for the PCW World Championship along with Gerard Angelo.
Ace Anderson: And now let's go back to the last time we came to you on the PCW Network. It was Collision Course 9 and Stormm defended his title against Grimm!

The cover:

Sasha Greene: The winner of this match, and still PCW Genesis Champion: RICK MAJORS!"
Pure Class Wrestling Presents: Collision Course 9 Sunday, December 6th, 2020 Stormm comes flying through the ropes with a suicide dive that connects! The crowd is on their feet as Stormm pulls Grimm up. He slams him into the guardrail. He then grabs him… Jerry Andrews: HANGCLOUD DDT ON THE OUTSIDE! Stormm takes a moment to get up. He slowly stands and pulls the now lifeless Grimm up with him. He rolls Grimm into the ring and then slides under the bottom rope himself. He puts his arm over Grimm and the referee counts. 1… 2… Jerry Andrews: GRIMM KICKED OUT!!! Stormm slowly pulls Grimm up… Jerry Andrews: Dead Reckoning! OUT OF NOWHERE! Grimm with a cover: 1… 2… Ace Anderson: NO! Jerry Andrews: This match continues folks! The two men stagger back to their feet, clearly exhausted by the grueling contest. Suddenly Stormm dives at Grimm with a clothesline! Grimm dodges it at the last second and Stormm collides with the referee! Jerry Andrews: The referee is down! Ace Anderson: But Grimm has Stormm! Jerry Andrews: THE HARVEST!!!! Grimm remains on the mat for a moment as well, before slowly crawling over to the throw his arm over Stormm! Ace Anderson: Here comes another referee! Jerry Andrews: But... wait.... why is Gerard Angelo with him!? Ace Anderson: Ha ha! Yes!!! The referee, Charles Lim, is on the apron, with Angelo by his side smiling. Jerry Andrews: Is Angelo going to cash in his match right now? Ace Anderson: Brilliant! Brilliant! Grimm is on his feet and he slugs Angelo in the face, knocking him off the apron! Stormm has rolled out of the ring. When he sees what's going on, he grabs the referee Lim off the apron and throws him down to the floor! Jerry Andrews: Wait... that's a PCW Official! I get that Stormm is upset, but you can't do that! Grimm is on the outside now, and he's throwing fists with Angelo. Stormm attacks Angelo from behind. The three start brawling on the outside. Angelo throws Stormm into the ringside barrier. He then slams Grimm into the ring steps. Angelo steps towards Stormm, who kicks him in the stomach. Stormm sets him up, but Grimm tackles both men down to the floor! Ace Anderson: This is chaos! These three men are now just unloading on each other with feet and fists and anything else they can manage! Ed Lane is back up now and he sees the brawl on the outside. He looks down at Charles Lim who is just coming too as if to ask him what just happened. Lim shrugs. Lane then turns to the timekeeper and calls for the bell. The crowd boos. The bell doesn't seem to stop the three men from fighting. Jerry Andrews: I think... I think this match just ended! Ace Anderson: And I don't think any of these three wrestlers care! They're in the crowd right now! Stormm just cracked Grimm with a chair! But Angelo took him down with a tackle! Jerry Andrews: Well folks, we've got an absolute brawl on our hands, but the match has been officially ended, so Stormm remains champion! |
The scene returns to ringside where the crowd is collectively on the edge of their seats.
Sasha Greene: "The following triple threat match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Pure Class Wrestling World Championship!"
The lights shift to a sickly shade of yellow. A pale glow, as if the arena has been cast in the harvest moon’s reflection off the season’s first killing frost. With the sound of a sharp nib scratching across a ragged sheet of parchment, a sepia-toned cursive scrawls grimm across the PCW-Tron. The name flickers in the guttering candle light.
Thump. Clap. Thump. Clap. An incessant electric tremolo. The deep end of a piano. The ebb and flow of a dissonant wail builds to a wall of noise as Zeal and Ardor’s “You Ain’t Coming Back (Instrumental)" breaks forth upon the masses, heralding the arrival of Grimm.
A lone silhouette steps out onto the entry way, and as it begins the long walk to the ring, candle wax drips onto the parchment. The lights fall into a pestilential throbbing, in and out of time with the discordance raging from the speakers. The Hangtown Horror remains deadset on the ring, steadfast in his approach. He climbs onto the apron and slides between the ropes. Hopping upon a turnbuckle, he casts his gaze out over the crowd with his arms at his side, eyes shifting to take in the sea of faces spread out before him. Grimm then drops down. And waits.
The PCW Arena is plugged into darkness as the opening hook to "Amazing" by Kanye West blasts out over the PA. The lights on the stage flash with the opening drum beat. Suddenly a spotlight blasts down onto the stage, revealing Gerard Angelo, with his back turned to the Faithful. He extends both his arms out to the side, one hand gripping the briefcase, where he keeps his Any-time, Anywhere contract, by the handle. He lifts the case above his head, spinning around to face the PCW Faithful as the house lights come on, leading to the Faithful erupting into boos.
He smirks as he surveys the crowd behind his trademark shades, holding the briefcase up proudly, before dropping it down and throwing his hood back. Gerry walks down the ramp, cocky and confident as always, pointing at the fans booing and showing them the briefcase, letting them know that he’s the best in the world. He stops at the ring stairs and slaps the top step before climbing them, and walking to the center of the ring apron. Angelo surveys the PCW Arena once more, holding the TIIT briefcase up high in one hand, before slipping through the middle and top rope into the ring. He walks to the opposite ring post, placing the case on the mat, before climbing onto the second turnbuckle. Gerry points to the crowd before unzipping his hoodie, pulling it off and pretending to toss it to the Faithful, before just dropping it on the floor. "The Hollywood Hero" hops down and removes his trademark sunglasses, before picking up the briefcase, clutching it to his chest as he crouches in the corner, awaiting his adversary.
Without warning, the lights in the arena go out in a flash, and the sounds of rhythmic drums begin to beat like an oncoming war. Very subtle orange lights illuminate the ramp way as the strings begin to accompany the percussion, and the tron flickers back on with black and white aerial shots of the Kansas City metro area. The faithful are left in total darkness, and their cell phone screens and flashlights begin to sporadically light up the crowd, like stars in the night, as a dense fog has risen, covering the ramp. Despite how little time has passed, the beat has brought the crowd to their feat.
Then, as the crescendo reaches its peak, a spotlight hits the entrance to accompany the climax of "Land of Shadows" by Audiomachine, and Stormm instantly comes into view.
The Force of Nature looks out into the crowd from underneath a black hood attached to an ankle length, black leather trench coat. The coat is covered in straps and buckles all left dangling about as the open coat sways with his movements. The crowd's reaction rivals that of the music volume, and Stormm acknowledges, looking left and then right, with a nod. His stare turns back to the ring, and he makes his way down the ramp with a black, wooden bat in his left hand, and the World title belt hanging from his right.
Having made it to ringside, Stormm patrols around to the opposite side of the ring in typical fashion before nodding towards Ace and Jerry, and tapping the announce desk with his bat. In one fluid motion, he hops up onto the apron, leans back onto the ropes, and points the bat out into the crowd, which draws in another pop from those in attendance. Climbing through the middle and top rope, he immediately scales to the second turnbuckle of the nearest corner, and raises the World title above his head, and out towards the crowd, as the arena lights slowly come back on as the spotlight fades out.
Stormm hops down, and throws the hood of his coat off of his head as he walks with purpose to the opposite corner, holding his title high for everyone to see once more, as the overwhelming adulation continued. No smile. No mouthing off. All business. The battle music fades out well before the reaction of the crowd does, but the Force of Nature waits patiently, perched from the top turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.

The three men slowly get to their feet, more cautious this time. The crowd rises with them, cheering on the action. The competitors start to circle the ring. Angelo swings at Grimm, who blocks it and fires back. Stormm grabs Grimm from the side, but he’s met with an elbow to the face. Stormm pulls Grimm to his feet, but the Hangtown Horror strikes him in the chest then clotheslines him down to the mat.
Ace Anderson: Grimm seems to be building up some momentum in this match… but momentum in a triple threat match can change in an instant.
As if on cue, Angelo attacks Grimm from behind, shoving him over the ropes and to the outside. He then turns back to Stormm, dropping him with a spinebuster as he gets to his feet. Angelo then runs, leaps up onto the top turnbuckle, and flies off at Grimm!
Jerry Andrews: WHAT A SUICIDE PLANCHA!!!
The crowd is on their feet once again as Angelo stands up. He pulls Grimm up and whips him into the guardrail. He then turns around and he’s hit with a baseball slide by Stormm! Stormm slides out of the ring, grabs Angelo and whips him into the stairs! Then he turns to Grimm….
Ace Anderson: Missile dropkick! And Grimm is over the guardrail and into the crowd!
Stormm now turns his attention back to Angelo. He pulls him up, but Angelo strikes him in the face. He then grabs Stormm’s head and slams him face-first into the edge of the ring apron. He then sets him up on the apron and climbs up himself. Angelo grabs Stormm in a headlock.
Jerry Andrews: No! He’s looking to DDT him on the apron!
Stormm breaks free and he hits Angelo with several strikes followed by a kick to the stomach. He then grabs him…
Jerry Andrews: IMPLANT DDT ON THE APRON!!!
Angelo falls down to the floor with a thud.
Ace Anderson: I think he busted his forehead open on the edge of the ring!

Jerry Andrews: FLYING CROSSBODY OVER THE GUARDRAIL!!!
Another huge cheer from the PCW Faithful! Stormm slowly gets to his feet and he pulls Grimm up. He goes to slam him into the barrier, but Grimm blocks it. He then elbows Stormm in the stomach and follows it up with a big headbutt! He then grabs Stormm by the head!
