I’ll give additional feedback in the next day or so, but I don’t think it’s any secret one match in particular piqued my interest. I apologize if this was intentional and I’m spoiling an upcoming angle, but if I’m reading Hayride to Hell correctly, Stormm was never tagged back in after Jury let him tag in Grimm. And Jury pinned Stormm for the win.
Also, I liked the comment about Grimm and the Sinister Farmer being part of the same co-op. That was funny.

Before I get going, I wanted to send a thank you to everyone responsible for putting the show together. I appreciate the effort that goes into these things, and wanted to take a second to express my gratitude.
I loved the use of Manson's cover for "This Is Halloween"
Snap. Crackle. Pop. time. I think everyone expected this to be the fate of MARC and Ezra, so it was a most fitting way to kick off the show. Then there's Bubba just killing Braddock with the Tazplex onto concrete. Quite a thing of beauty, really. Solid start to the show.
Pretty badass looking graphic for the commercial break banner. Kudos to whoever put that together.
Crazy Power EXPLODES! It was only a matter of time before Alexa snapped and this was as good a time as any. The match itself was good. I appreciated the tension between Alexa/Crazy Boy (which led to the conclusion).
Jerry Andrews: Weird thing is, she doesn’t look that hurt - just disoriented from being thrown around!
Exactly. She's tough as nails and can withstand a lot of punishment. Definitely not someone you'd want to fight. This is where the speed of High Tide and Wasp really helped, as they were able to keep her off balance.
Ace Anderson: Never question madness.
Jerry Andrews: Is that a quote from somewhere?
Ace Anderson: No, just what I remind myself any time I get the urge to try having another conversation with Nathan Saniti.
Lol.
Ah the onslaught of chops, and the humor from commentary in regards to it. Hilarious. Like I said, this was a good match, and a fine post-match with Alexa seemingly washing her hands of both Crazy Power and (un)Stable. I'm looking forward to seeing where that leads between the members.
A battle of two big men was next in an Underground match. Power vs Power. Like last week, I was curious to see how Yukio would do in the environment. Yukio has some quick feet, on display as he dodged the barb wire boxing glove shots from Bubba.
Good thing that 100 pound pumpkin didn't make contact with its intended target.
Ace Anderson: OH! The humanity! Pumpkin guts everywhere! Lol.
I really liked the use of the various props set up around the ring (pumpkins, pitchforks, hay bales). Made for a nice mental image, especially the crowning with the hay. Since it went to a no contest, I wouldn't mind seeing them tangle again. Perhaps at the PPV? Either way, I enjoyed the match.
Easily my favorite part of the show, the Zombie Dance Party to what else? Thriller. Fuck yes. I laughed when I got to that part, and naturally it leads right to a commercial. Love it.
The tag title match was awesome. Before I comment, I want to congratulate Jesse on the victory. I'm a big fan of Judge and Jury and thought this was a bit of an upset. It's not without controversy, as Nate accurately pointed out that Stormm wasn't the legal man when he got pinned. But regardless, a hard fought victory for The Saints in a really hard hitting, even match. It was one I had looked forward to seeing and it didn't disappoint.
Jerry Andrews: Grimm is a one-man demolition crew in there. I couldn't help but notice that the Sinister Farmer was allowing Grimm to get away with several closed fists earlier. Do you think they're part of the same farming co-op? lol.
Jury willingly allowing the tag to Grimm, the face-to-face then the action that followed was awesome. Again, a nice visual. Just like that SICK spear. Great match guys.
The Great Pumpkin Match. Gotta love the Peanuts reference. Naturally where there's candy, there's Kelli Starr, lol. This was an absolutely fun match. Very back and forth and up until the conclusion, I was unsure as to what team would win.
hahaha, another chops reference. Hilarious.
Saniti finally manages a vertical base, only to be met with a drop kick from Sadistic, sending Nathan to his own corner. With the dexterity of a pickpocket, Saniti gathers some of the hatpins from his hat, slinging them with the skill of a knife thrower at his opponents, burying them in Sadistic's surgically repaired knee and each Wryght's shoulders. The fans jeer Saniti's actions. Loudly.
Ace Anderson: Oh, it's okay for Showtime to use a ladder, but the fans don't like Saniti's hatpins?
Jerry Andrews: It's a no DQ match. Anything can happen, whether the fans like it or not.
This is was an excellent part of the match. It underscores the tonal shift of the fans towards Saniti, and as we saw post-match, would finally push him over.
Back inside, Wryght yanks the offending objects from his shoulders just as Saniti spears him to the mat, pummeling him with fists. Saniti screams in Showtime's face, "You wish to be a martyr? Then I'll MAKE you one!" Saniti plunges a large hatpin through Wryght's right hand and into the mat. Showtime bellows in agony. Before Nathan can get to the other hand, he's pulled off by Kelli.
Same compliment. It continues to show how far gone Nathan had become and especially with everything The Black Hand has done. I find it quite interesting how they have become sympathetic characters to the fans. given their deeds. And I mean that in a good way. It's just really good storytelling from everyone involved and should be applauded.
I love the transformation from bright Nathan Saniti to dark N. Saniti. I wasn't around for this before, so I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing what Dan comes up with next. The character is a very creative one to say the least.
Nathan Saniti: So these are your heroes now? These... men who have run roughshod over PCW for over a year are now the ones you cheer whilst I... I am vilified for stooping to their level? You all dare to turn your backs on me? The (un)Stable turns their backs on me?
He turns his venomous attention to Dollface.
Nathan Saniti: What of you, my dear? Do you plan on turning your back on me too? I'm afraid that would make me very violent. Very violent, indeed.
Nathan drops the mic and returns to the fallen Showtime. He flips Wryght over and sets him in the Cheshire Grin. Finally, security rushes the ring to peel Saniti from his victim. It takes them a few seconds, but by the time they do, the damage has been done. Nathan pops his neck, picking up the mic once again.
Nathan Saniti: Oh, this world shall burn, Black Hand. I am the stuff of nightmares, and PCW shall experience my wrath! The wrath of N. Saniti.
Chilling stuff.
FTW. Friday the 13th AND Evil Dead? God YES! F13th is my favorite franchise and then anything involving Bruce "Ash" Campbell is a win. We should FINALLY get a definitive winner in this best-of-five series between NCM/Jusin Kaard (I hope) and settle the battle for the NA title. This was a darn good first match and really sets the tone for the next battles. I liked the back and forth between these two and definitely feel it's an even battle.
And comes up snake eyes. Mentis rolls out of the way as Kaard crashes into the stairs with enough force to drive the top step completely off base. He's left writhing in pain as Mentis gets back to his feet as the referee is at a count of seven. He looks from the ring to Kaard and shrugs as he rolls back into the ring.
Ace Anderson: Now this is smart. Let the Referee do the work for him. NCM picks up the win and he doesn't even have to actually pin Kaard.
But NCM has something different in mind as he rolls back out of the ring, forcing the count to restart yet again.
Ace Anderson: What an idiot! He had this thing won!
Jerry Andrews: He doesn't want to win on a count out, he wants to beat Kaard clean and prove that he's the better of the two.
The exchanging of signature moves and none of it working? *thumbs up* again, an even match between two top notch writers. Hell of a round one, guys. I'm looking forward to the second match.
Great show and it left me with a laugh:
Jerry Andrews: Well folks, what a night this was! We hope you had a great Halloween and... well, would you look at that, Halloween's over and suddenly it's Christmas!
Ace Anderson: I saw trees for sale in September.
Jerry Andrews: Good night everyone!
Boy isn't that the truth. The Christmas Brigade out in full force either before Halloween ends (Heck, I found Egg Nog in October. I usually don't see it until late November-December) or right on November 1st...or Dec 26 (Only 364 more days!).
