I’m expecting big things out of this Buck Brochamp kid. He had an impressive win here, even if it was against a no-shower. Speaking of which…new stable aside, what’s the deal with your sister, Alexa? “She’s not talking about how violent she is, she’s not talking about crazy she is, and she’s not talking about how heroic she is. I can get behind that.” Thank God for that, and well said, Ace. (PCW has a selkie on the roster now?!) If anyone needed evidence that the front office gives such no-showers the benefit of the doubt, particularly when they’re informed ahead of time, look no further than the Raven Hex / Disco Stud match. That was as involved and well-written as any other match you’ll see in PCW. He’s Cory Steel again? Regardless, this was an interesting match between two VERY different competitors. Good introduction to Kent Paris in the Glam Slam. That was a smart way to give us that mindset information without dumping it on us in an RP. The Shaw Brothers gave it a solid effort, but Psychedelica remains champs for a reason. Oh, and now the division is dissolved. I guess that does make sense, all things considered. The NCM / Alexa Black match was just what we expected and hoped for. Way to beat each other silly, you two. Hey, it’s another one of those new guys! Welcome to PCW, Creed. Showtime has really honed in on his technical wrestling displays the last few cards. Well done, and congrats on the win against a determined Crazy Boy. Well, that was a short lived title reign. Congrats, Kaard. ** ** Another excellent PPV, PCW! Let’s keep the momentum.

PCW has a selkie on the roster now?! I seriously had myself a little happy nerd squeal in my head when I recognized it in her prelude posts.

I will post more at a later date, I have a Blake Shelton concert to take my girlfriend to now and then my little brother's birthday party tomorrow. But anywho, awesome results. This is like the second fed I've been in over the past decade that I'm actually interested in reading things other than my match. I was under the assumption that an Underground Match was like a no DQ match so I thought Hex might be able to show her hardcore side, but I might be wrong? Still new here! Don't hurt me if I'm mistaken. Also, maybe I should have brought in another character with how much you guys seem to be tired of the dark unhinged girls

You'll just have to wait and see if that's actually the case or not, won't you?~ Anyway, great show. I'm going to do more detailed feedback when I'm at work tonight, but I wanted to go ahead and at least mention that the PPV has me pumped to see what Brenna can do.

As was said by Raven, I find myself compelled to read a lot more in PCW than I usually would in a fed - I tend more toward reading all RPs than show results, but as I started skimming Mass Destruction I was sucked in and read the lot. Thought the Card was well booked, very well built and perfectly put together.
The instances where you realize things were done by different writers were quite minimal, which is extremely hard to achieve.
There was a real nice mix of comedy and seriousness which very few feds ever get right.
Picking a match of the night is going to be tough.. The obvious choices are there but I loved the Underground Championship Match. A great spin on 'Hardcore' and whoever wrote that deserves a real pat on the back IMO.
All in all, I honestly think I've joined PCW at the perfect time. Grate card to everyone involved.

First Notion of Business: The name is still Jury . All in favors says Aye? Aye. *gavel slams* notion passed.
5 out of 5 stars on the results. I gave my votes to my own match because it was indeed awesome and the Underground is a solid division, Q great job man actually never thought I'd beat someone of your caliber! Alexa Black vs NCM was my second vote, it'll be written in for me on tye next Iceys.
Creative team and its mules good job on another PPV!

Will edit the results at some point later today, got some updates to do across the boards when I get home from errand running so PCW is pretty much going to be the entirety of my afternoon & early evening.

An awesome show and a great PPV debut for the new DWO EiraIn terms of the flow of the show I thought it was fantastic with a good mix of matches and segments, in part thanks to out influx of new talent and their appearances. My one general criticism is one we've known about for a while, that a few of the matches seemed to lack the lengthy build up of storyline that we'd normally see at a big ppv. That is more the victim of circumstance than any oversight though. The Baby vs Bro match was what it was. A dark match with a missing rp will never be a classic but this managed to give some character to Brochamp at least. The post-match Alexa segment was good character development for her, setting her sights on a stable to rival The Black Hand, Marshalls Law and AWAssholes is a big statement. I hope Simon isn't spreading himself too thin in his attempts to get a singles title, run a tag team an a secondary singles character, maybe with the (later to be discussed) removal of the tag titles there might be a change of plans. Brenna Gordon's segment was definitely an atmospheric taste of the character, very enigmatic and I can't wait to see more. Raven vs Disco was a great showcase for two of our newer characters. A very well written match that showed off the abilities of both in a very even way. Hopefully these two can move on to bigger and better things. The Q vs Jury match definitely showed off the quirky side of the underground and, name confusion aside, it was a great match. Congrats to the new champ, one thing's for sure Jury's gonna have no shortage of challengers. The Glam Slam segment was almost the polar opposite of the first debut segment. This time Kent Paris left nothing to the imagination and laid out exactly what we should expect from him. Both approaches work and this was a very enjoyable read for how it brought out the details of Kent's character. Look forward to seeing how he builds on it. Simon definitely gave it his best but Dollface and Saniti are an amazing team. There's a reason they've held the titles for so long, both Kris and Dan are great individual writers and play off each other incredibly well. It was a well written match and gave the Shaws enough of a showing to make them seem formidable opponents for the champs, but it just wasn't enough. The post match segment that places the titles on hiatus was a little shock, but one that's not unprecedented in PCW. Tag teams just aren't as popular as they used to be and it's good that we can make a choice like this rather than continue to beat a dead horse. The silver lining I see in this is that we get two of the most outstanding writers in PCW back into singles title contention and really open up some awesome possibilities. NCM vs Alexa was a brutal contest and everything it should have been. Thank you to whoever wrote it because you nailed exactly what I would have wanted from it. Alexa continues to build her reputation as a fearsome competitor and I'm sure this won't be the last she'll trouble the titles. It was a fantastic showing and I'm lucky to still be holding the title. Cameron Creed's debut fell in between the others in terms of detail. We got to hear from him, we know he's confident in himself but I feel like a lot of his character is being kept in reserve. We got a taste, we got the ultimatum, now Creed's gotta back it up. I feel for Crazy Boy sometimes. He's been an incredibly consistent member of the roster for so long and his record really doesn't reflect his quality. I wish no disrespect to Showtime, but I was genuinely rooting for CB to come out with the title and was crushed when he didn't. The match did great to reflect almost that exact feeling with CB coming close but not quite getting the W. Showtime continues to show why he's one of our top stars EVER and a deserving champion. Grimm vs Kaard was, again, a fantastic match and as the main event of the biggest show of the year it had to be. I do think this match suffered from the problem I mentioned at the start, as the story for these two has only really built over a couple of shows. It was a classic match of methodical brawler vs daredevil striker though and the match reflected that this could have gone either way. There was a definite feeling that either competitor only need a single mistake to win or lose the match. On a personal note I'm incredibly happy for Tom to walk out with the title. Nate only had a short reign, and I'm sure he won't take the loss lightly, but I'm glad to see Kaard sitting atop the mountain for now.

In my opinion this was not the best pay per view we've ever had. But when your super shows are consistently good enough to keep topping one another that becomes a very tall order. That said, it was still a damn good show and I think it's the best show we've had since Kris took over DWO duties. As she becomes more comfortable and more confident in her duties I have no doubt that she's going to take that bar that has been set very high and suggest it go off to do impolite things to itself.
The matches themselves, as always, were very well written. Some seemed a bit shorter than I would have liked though each match was certainly long enough to tell exactly the story it needed. The opening match certainly was a shocker as I don't think anyone, Josh included, ever expected Buck Brochamp to pick up a win.
The other matches progressed nicely. I was glad that Disco wasn't squashed because like Kris said, this reeked of real life shit and not just, lol nah brah, cya. As I mentioned above, some of them did seem a little shorter than we're accustomed to, but that's not always a bad thing. In the case of NCM vs. Alexa it sets up for a more storied match down the road.
For me, and admittedly I'm a little biased, the main event was match of the night. I loved the back and forth between Grimm and Kaard and how neither of them seemed to get much of an upper hand. And the hug, that fucking hug. I knew it was coming but I still laughed out loud
As everyone else has said the introductions of the PCW newbies was awesomely done. Nothing felt forced or repetitive. Grats to all of you and welcome to PCW.
