Like I said in the shout box this show was freakin insane.
Let's take a trip through Trauma 191 and first up is
Match One Icemann Invitational Tournament Singles Match Razor Blade vs John Weyland Referee: Ty Little Jr
This was a good match with both guys looking for something to prove The powerhouse Razor Blade gave it a good fight but in the end it wasnt enough to stop John Weyland who makes an impressive debut and advances in the tournament. I think John Weyland is going to do very well in PCW.
Next up is Match Two Underground Singles Match Kelli “Dollface" Starr (Underground ©) vs Dan Fierce Referee: Ty Little
I was looking forward to seeing how these two unique talents would match up and I have to say I wasnt disapointed at all. Dan and Kelli both came at each other with everything and which made for a very competitive bout. Unfortunately the end of the match saw the two crash heads in a very nasty way resulting in a double KO . Despite this it seems Kelli and Dan are becoming friends.
A backstage meeting between newcomer Brenna Gordon and the veteran from Hangtown Grimm is courteous but cold. As she leaves The Lord Of Misrule passes on some advice leaving Brenna fuming.
Which leads into....
Match Three Icemann Invitational Tournament Terrence "The Real Thing" Brown vs Baby Jenks Referee: Nigel Gale
Another great match here. Brown and Jenks both bring their A game and unfortunately for Brown. Jenks isn't alone as The Shaws get involved in the match repeatedly and end up helping her cheat her way to a win. and advancing her in the tournament.
Next up is
Match Four Singles Match Alexa Black v. Jury Referee: Manny Cruz
This match was as you would expect with two of PCW's most violent wrestlers Neither would stop short of anything to beat the other. It was a back and forth contest and despite the other members of The Darkness getting involved Jury picks up a win. And intrestingly Baby Jenks stops a post match assault on Jury telling Alexa not to crush Jury who makes his way out. Will this one goes by the rules and one not lead to tension between the sisters? Time will tell...
Moving on to
Match Five Singles Match Grimm vs Brenna Gordon* Referee: Charles Lim
This was my pick for match of the night. I thouroughly enjoyed this match with these two taking each other to the limits The newcomer pushed Grimm in a way I don't think he has been challenged in a long time and he had to pull out all the stops just to beat her the action was paced well and very exciting . I would love to see a rematch between these two in the future.
Next up is Rick Majors who comes out and explains to the PCW faithful as to why he came back and what happened while he was out of PCW He tells them that he came back because of the Darkness and that he sees a lot of himself in them and that he wants to show them that there is more to life than violence and that the potential they have is there.
This doesn't sit well with The Darkness who come down and beat the shit out of him before a triple powerbomb drives him into the mat and they leave as the med techs try to help. An intresting segment there. I don't know how he thinks he will achieve his goal if things keep going like this.
On to
Match Six Icemann Invitational Tournament Singles Match Nathan Saniti vs. Non Compos Mentis (North American ©) Referee: Ed Lane
A great match with two of PCW's top stars. Nathan and NCM tore down the house and showed us what competing at a high level is. Lots of hard hitting action in there and Nathan managed to get a win But what was REALLY intresting is what happened after the match. The lights go out and once again some creepy shit ensues leading to the ring being surrounded by 8 horror themed Disney masked individuals who utterly ANIHILATE the Mad Magician. Then to the horror of everyone they turn him into a sacrifice by literally crucifying him in The middle of the ring. This was nasty violent and utterly shocking I couldn't believe what I read. I don't know what will become of Nathan but I tell you what whoever those people are you DONT want to fuck with them!
And finally...
LAST CHANCE BATTLE ROYAL Icemann Invitational Tournament Referee: Joe Buckland
What a great match this was! So much going on and so entertaining. OMG ANDY D IS BACK!!!!. That was an awesome suprise! I never expected that.
I must say that this match emphasised what an utter bell end Buck Brochamp is. He was too busy running his mouth and getting involved with MURDOC? What was he thinking?!? Well suffice to say the monster that is MURDOC didn't take kindly to "The Champ" and dumped his ass outta there in a hurry. Better luck next time Brochump. After this the three rookies try to take on the monster and didn't do much better While the rest of the competitors know better and left MURDOC well alone.
Next up eliminate is Q by Cameron Creed who spears him through the ropes. Then rookie Chris Parsons at the hands of MURDOC. By this time the fight is on and everyone is going at it.
PCW mainstay Crazy Boy is next eliminated Followed by Cameron Creed and the returned Andy D The numbers are thinning now.
Dontevius Ellis is next to go after a crushing punch from MURDOC leaves him vulnerable and both Wyright and MURDOC take advantage dumping him out to the floor this leaves Wyright and MURDOC as the final 2. They battle it out on the apron and just as Wyright has the advantage there is a flash and Showtime is blinded and MURDOC shoves him to the floor winning the Last Chance Battle Royal.
Congrats MURDOC!
This and the show as a whole was spectacular. Well done to everyone involved you are truly fantastic.

PROS: I can't tell you how much I enjoy matches more focused on the action in the ring. It makes it easier to read because it's not frequently interrupted by commentary. Commentary is great on TV because you can see what's going on so the information intake is simultaneous. In a written environment, it becomes very tedious to read. You guys are really nailing it from that standpoint. Also, you guys put a lot of personality and suspense into the results. Fans get to their feet, wrestlers struggle to escape moves, etc. It's empowering to see our fighters exhibiting some personality rather than just. "Wrestler A punches wrestler B. Wrestler B kicks Wrestler A. Wrestler A suplexes wrestler B. Wrestler B gets up..." Writing reactions to moves is just as important as writing the moves themselves and you guys excel at this.
CONS: I feel like, from the commentary we do get from Jerry Andrews and Ace Anderson, we don't get much personality or contrast from them. Reading through the show, I feel like you could switch their names from what was originally written and no one would notice the difference. They tend to agree too often for my taste. Like the tension and suspense in the ring, I'd prefer to see some degree of tension between the announcers.
You guys write great shows! I'm happy to be here. Keep up the great work!

Right off the top, I'd like to say that there's a good amount of attention paid to continuity in the show. Felt like there was a good flow between segments and matches and it never really felt like one "scene" was just copy/pasted between a match to fill a void, leaving the reader thinking "uh, that kinda just happened there, ok."
I wasn't looking for typos when I was reading, but none stood out. I've seen shows in some other places where it seemed like they were just happy to have the matches and segments and didn't bother to proof read.
Also, is it just me, or are tighter matches that focus on the action and don't try to push the word count, just to push it, more enjoyable to read? Each match I read, from what I've learned, really represented each wrestler's persona well. Furthermore, I think the back and forth really felt natural, like what you'd expect to see in a real ring. The move and then the sell, not just "ok move move move, commentary, move move move, decision."
I also liked, I believe it was in the Starr/Fierce match that during the ten count, there were some descriptions of what the wrestlers were doing in between. I like this as it gives you more than just a number list and your own imagination, it lets you know what's going on in between those counts, as often in wrestling matches, you can count to five between each count. LoL
In closing, I found this to be a concisely written show. There weren't any lulls for me and I found it easy to read right through--staying engaged.
Note: I do agree that the voice of the commentators could be a bit more diverse. At times it did feel like one line fed the next and that they could have more unique voices.
I hope that this was more informative than just "gushing" I plan on getting caught up on all of the RPS, moving forward, so I can offer more detailed analysis.
Also, thanks again to Razor and thanks for the opportunity, PCW. If you're reading this, (Razor's handler) and want some feedback/advice on your rps, feel free to hit me up on PM. I'd be happy to give you some stuff to think in regards to your rps.

I'm a big meanie that loves to one-up my friends!! Thanks, jerk. I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said. The 'condensed' matches are much easier to read. Results are great but I don't want to waste my day because someone's writing for word count. There's a lot of action packed into not a ton of words. I love that.

Right back at you. LoL Oh and I meant to mention that having "hidden rps" is a great concept. I haven't seen this done before. Allowing for wrestlers to actually be surprise entrants to the battle royal worked out really well. Good call there. I'm looking forward to being able to read the contributions from these surprise entrants.

It’s good to see the new signees already working up segments and stories and whatnot. I think we’ve got some good ones here.
Speaking of the new signees…a couple of them have already touched on the strengths of our writing team, and how you can tell they actually pay attention to our RPs (and even OOC chatter!) when it comes to the little details and asides they include in the matches. That’s one of the things that makes our results so fun to read. That, and the match psychology they really delve into sometimes.
This Trauma is no exception, and it also includes evidence of how evenly the matches are typically written when there is a clear mismatch or even a no-show. No one gets squashed here unless you’re a flake or you’ve gone out of your way to leave on bad terms.
Miscellaneous comments
I really like the level-headed dynamic Baby Jenks brings to The Darkness – though I understand ‘level headed’ is relative when it comes to this bunch. And like everyone else, I’m curious to see what the deal is with this list of theirs.
I don’t think Rick Majors thought his motivational speech through all the way. Either that or he hasn’t been paying attention to the Darkness’s behavior. They don’t seem the type to be moved by someone’s inspirational recovery story.
“Weekly power outage”…hee hee, ain’t it the truth. I know we have to get handler’s permission before we use others in RPs or segments…do we need a multinational corporation’s permission before we use its characters, albeit twisted versions of its characters?
I admit I was a little bummed when mystery entrant Loki came out to beat Grimm at the Last Chance Battle Royal last year, but mystery opponents do add a nifty touch to this thing. I, too, look forward to seeing Andy D and Murdoch’s RPs on our boards. Welcome back to those two, by the way, and I appreciate the comedic relief that is usually involved in some of the entrants every year. I thought Buck had a chance. And I still don’t see how the fireball-to-the-face is legal. A handful of undercarriage is frowned upon, but not that. Bizarre.
