"Legacy? Where would we even begin? Title after title. Tag Titles, World Titles, yes, but their respective careers have followed different trajectories. Yes, those titles, but with despair, humor, and delirious points in between. Those expectations and delusions. Things were not as they seemed, nor were they otherwise. Grimm expected to whittle down Justin Kaard, that exaggerated mix of booze, failed dreams and a terminal identity crisis. Justin Kaard, the youngest two-time PCW World Champion in the federation’s illustrious existence. Grimm had now set out to become the oldest however-many-times-it was (five, right?) world champion. The only five time world champion, but none the less. He would whittle him down, and salt what was left so nothing would ever bloom again." - GrimmJesus christ. I've often wondered if your extraordinary writing ability translated equally well to trash-talk... I always wanted to read the kind of feelings the other competitors often have when musing over their opponents. I rather hoped to see it some day. I was not disappointed.

Thanks, chief!
Also, and it'll seem late because it will have to wait until I get home from vacation, but I have every intention of dropping a whole load of feedback on you people.

Thirteen Year Itch – Chapter Five: As an efedder who has written nothing but minor variations on the same character for over a decade, it’s admirable to see a second character written in such a different way from your original one. And written well, I might add, which isn’t a surprise given what we already knew from your work with Saniti. I used to say this all the time to Ace Anderson, but it’s refreshing to see a ‘normal’ character in the middle of the PCW universe. I mean, obviously Dan Fierce’s in-ring persona is over the top, but outside the arena he’s just a regular guy dealing with regular, everyday issues. It’s a nice palate cleanser in the middle of an RP board filled with…well, you know.
In regards to the hard cut between ‘story’ and ‘promo’, I know you’re not the first or only one to use this method in this fed (Kelli Starr and Brenna Gordon go this route, too). From what I understand PCW is unique in that most of our RPs are way more story-intensive and way less trash-talky than other feds, so part of the puzzle is working match relevance into a piece about (insert favorite storyline here) without shoehorning it in or otherwise making your RP super awkward to read. As one who doesn’t include much of it myself, a separate section devoted to this wouldn’t work at all for me. That being said, you (along with the other two mentioned previously) do have more to say than me, and since each of you are able to write it such that the ‘promo’ sections are clearly Dan Fierce (or Kelli Starr or Brenna Gordon)-flavored and not just generic trash talk (because there are few things I dislike more than that), it works. So kudos on that.
Frost V Nixon Had Less Physical Violence Between Them: First off…yay, Andy D is back!
Much like my comment to Dan Fierce, Andy D is another one of our ‘normal’ characters, in that he’s not involved in any secret missions or societies, he doesn’t have any real mental instabilities, etc., etc. Between that and (what seems to me) your stream-of-conscious style of RP’ing, the match discussions appear to come naturally in your pieces. The RP does a good job of addressing both Andy’s big upcoming match (including ring psychology and his opponent’s motivations) and his outside-the-ring life (that Scottish lass). And I liked that final paragraph. It was a nice summation of Andy’s current situation.
The Seeds of Life – Chapter Two: It’s a given that a Nathan Saniti RP is going to be an entertaining read. Between all the supporting characters and worlds you’re juggling, the reader doesn’t know what to expect cycle to cycle, and that’s a good thing. I mean, what else is there to say that hasn’t been fed-back already? You’re a good writer, you’re a creative dude (Witzend? That’s great.), and I look forward to seeing how this storyline ultimately plays out.

I already mentioned this in the Shout Box, but in case it gets buried down there...does anyone know where the LaL VIII RP thread is now? It isn't in the PPV RP Archive.

I’m the guy: Okay, Razor Blade , since you asked when you’d be main-eventing PCW, I reckon your RP is open for feedback. Here’s the thing…I’ve gone back and checked. You’re using the same RP every card. Other than changing the names of your opponents and alternating interviewers, it’s the same thing over and over again. Not only is reading the same stuff over and over not any fun, it leads to a number of problems. One of the most glaring is when you regurgitate incorrect information. “…then you’ll be seeing me become your next PCW World Champion on Trauma next week on PCW.” We don’t typically have title defenses like that on Trauma, and even if we did, we don’t post the card that far in advance. And even if we did, that’s not how title shots work in this federation. At all. Another problem is that we’re getting zero character development. I suspect you don’t read many of the other RPs, because if you did you would notice that there are entire stories going on around here. Yes, maybe we veer off the track and seem to forget this is supposed to be centered around wrestling, but none the less, these characters have personalities and back stories, and reasons for doing the things they do. All we’re getting from Razor Blade is the same backstage soundbite week after week. One of the scoring categories is ‘creativity and originality’, and as you can imagine, these Razor Blade RPs probably aren’t scoring too high in that regard. Your RPs don’t have to get as involved or ‘out there’ as some us, because I’ve seen some really good pieces where the characters are just ‘normal’ people who just happen to wrestle for a living. But something other than Razor talking to an interviewer backstage is going to have to happen. The Enforcer: Party Hard: There’s more background on Alexa Black in this RP than we’ve ever gotten from Alexa Black, which was one of the sticking points when she first showed up on the PCW scene. How about that. Also – Baby Jenks at an infant’s birthday party? I never would have predicted such a thing, but it all came together here to shed a little more light on the whole Alexa / Jenks situation, as well as the Baby Jenks character herself. And you still left us with a few questions despite having provided a few answers, which in my opinion is the mark of a good piece. One Foot In Front of The Other: It’s not always easy to write a return RP after a long break. If the break is long enough, it’s probably as difficult as an introductory piece when you’re brand new to an established federation. As it is, I liked this. You’ve got an aging wrestler in the twilight of his career questioning his decision to come back, and you’ve shown his lack of confidence in himself. But then Rick Majors has his moment of zen, and even though he acknowledges his age and the odds stacked against him, he’s made peace with it all. Nice work here. And welcome back.
