Yeah, yeah, it's easy for me to say since I've already posted, but it IS a PPV. What do you say we try to get some feedback up this time around.

That is certainly a unique use of the Battle Bowl trophy. I really liked the story being told of how Grimm beat the competition. I felt like I was right there listening with everybody. I got more than my fair share of chuckles, especially with the mid-sentence stop. Very fun opening.
This (somewhat) continues in the next section. There is one piece I want to isolate:
“This is who we are, Phinehas. I heal…” “And bewitch.” “I heal. You maim. Among other things.”
and capped off with: Phinehas can be gentle when he wishes.
And it’s further backed by the way he cares for Granny. You can feel the emotional weight of things. (Apple peels hang from twine to dry along with all the herbs Granny has gathered for her wondrous deeds. Witch hazel, lavender, rosemary, sage, and all the rest. But even so, Phinehas picks up a smell underneath it all. He leans in and sniffs. Her breath. Her insides. It’s the smell of sickness. The smell of…no, Phinehas does not acknowledge it. He covers Granny’s hand with his own.)
There is some excellent stuff here that makes me look forward to the next part of the story.
“Well, she is Hangtown’s sin-eater. The devil’s tipped his hat in every direction around here. It was just a matter of time before it manifested itself in something like this.”
Cool bit of info with the SINEATER description.
“I know. Such foulness in this amount would lead to contamination in any body…be it our physical husk or, say, an organization.”
Ruth sighs. “No, Phinehas.”
“I’m just saying the arithmetic is similar. Ford himself would agree…”
“No. Don’t you sully this with talk of business. Sometimes a conversation is just a conversation. A moment is just a moment.”
May be my favorite line of the entire RP. Which is hard to actually pin down, because I like a lot of them, haha.
“And cancer is just cancer,” he says as he holds it up to the firelight. The accused hangs there small and black, like a rotten acorn. A concentrated mass of wickedness, shame, and desire.
Phinehas Grimm, M.D. (lol) kidding aside, the final section has a well explained account of what he’s doing. As I had at the start, I found it easy to put myself right there in the middle of everything. The entire RP is solid from start to finish. Looking forward to your match against Whitey Ford!
