A crowd clambers around a stretcher where a motionless Alexa lays her breathing shallow as she is wheeled out of the ringside area through the curtain and the gorilla position. Normally they would be happy to see this wicked woman get what she deserves but even they are in shock at what has transpired.
Dominator had taken no shortcuts to ensure that Alexa would be out of commission for the ten count and possibly for the rest of her career. But why?
“Make way people! We need to evac this patient now to the hospital her injuries are critical and if we don’t she will die” the medics shout and gesture making everyone quickly clear the way standing aside to let them pass.
Did he see her as a threat to his possibility of becoming Underground King? Or was it something the Chronological Order was up to and they needed her out of the way to achieve it? These questions would remain unanswered until the time would come where they would be revealed.
Standing over her shattered body was her manager Jamie King and his associate Steven Masters. Their faces were wracked with worry. Without Alexa they had no foothold in PCW and no one to be their insider and that would be a real problem.
She was key in their operations and they had to do everything they could to keep her alive. The stretcher is wheeled to the back of a waiting ambulance and then lifted in as the medics check her vitals and try to get her to the hospital.
Masters and King climb in and squash in the ambulance as it zooms out of the arena it sirens wailing in the night.
“Fuck! This isn’t good. What if she doesn’t make it? We’re fucked” Masters growls his deep gravel to his partner who looks at him and nods.
“I know but we just have to have faith that she will pull through. She’s come out of worse scrapes than this and I’m sure she is fighting as we speak” King replies his voice simply calm and firm.
The ambulance zips into emergency and the driver jumps out running around to the back before flinging the door open Alexa is quickly extracted from the vehicle and rolled straight into the trauma unit as King and Masters wait anxiously..
“I don’t see anyone else from PCW here..”.
“Of course not. She’s spent almost 4 years terrorising everyone in that place. I don’t think they’d care if she carked it. There will be only us...”
As he says that two huge men enter the ED and look around. King looks them up and down and shakes his head. The huge bearded men walk forward to King and Masters quickly steps between them.
“Can I help you Gentleman?” King says with a disingenuous smile
The short round fellow nods and smiles.
“Why yes you can. I am looking for Alexa I heard she came in here.” His voice is a deep boom with a strong southern twang.
“Yes she is, and you are?”
“Alexander Shaw and this is my brother Frederick” he motions to the giant monster who towers over the other three men.
“Ah yes I’ve heard about you and what you and Alexa did in PCW. Sounds like you caused quite a bit of chaos.” King says.
“Indeed but we had to leave and return home. But when we heard what had happened we came right away. Shaw intoned
“Well she is in the Trauma centre now so only time will tell.” Masters interjects.
The hours pass and the 4 men pace around and wait, talking occasionally to pass the time.
A white coated doctor pushes through the double doors and approaches the group.
“It’s hard to tell what will happen at this point all we can do is wait.
He walks off and the four men sit and continue waiting.
LA, California. 2 weeks later..
Black Family Home, 7:00 PM
Masters is sitting in the now renovated Black family living room. The whole place which was a rundown condemned dump was now a respectable modern family home.
The living room with it’s hard wood floors tasteful artworks and big black leather couches looked very nice from what it used to be.
Relaxing with a beer in hand and ESPN on the tv he is completely unaware of what is going on around him.
Meanwhile in the kitchen Alexa is cooking up a storm with multiple pots and a frying pan on the go as she prepares to cook a feast to celebrate getting out of the hospital.
A famished James King wanders into the kitchen sniffing at the air with a smile. “Alexa my dear what are you cooking? it smells delicious”
Roast beef with veggies and gravy and Yorkshire puddings. A little something from home” Alexa replies with a smile.
He smiles back.
“Hey James can you get that baking tray for me. It’s in the lower cupboard.”
He bends down and as he does
BLAM! A black blur slams through the air striking him in the temple rendering him unconscious as he slumps to the floor.
“Whoops!” Alexa laughs with a smirk as she looks at the large frying pan in her hand. “I guess things didn’t PAN out for you...”
She laughs again at her own corny joke.
Hearing the commotion Steven rushes into the kitchen and stumbled upon the scene.
“What the fuck?? You bitch!”
He charges her and grabs her by the throat gasping she tries to break free but can’t. She swiftly brings a hard knee into his manhood causing him to quickly let go grunting in pain. Grabbing a nearby pot she throws the boiling contents at his face laughing as he screams from being scalded.
She then slams the pot into his head knocking him out as well.
Later on...
Coming out of blackness Jamie King tries to move but finds he can’t as he and Steven are both tied to chairs securely.
The room however black around them and they can’t see anything else.
“What the hell is going on?” King yells his usual calm demeanour gone.
Suddenly right in front of his face a flame erupts from a gas stove lighter illuminating the twisted face of Alexa.
“FUCK” he screams.
“Hello” Alexa says in a cold voice
“You boys have outstayed your welcome here. And I don’t take to kindly to people controlling me like you did either.”
She holds up the control for the chip and smashes it.
“You see Dominator did me a favour when he threw me into that light. It short circuited your control and so now I’m free to do what I like...”
Both men look terrified as well they should.
“So now I need to make sure you disappear..”
She turns on each of the knobs of the stove letting gas seep into the room
“This needs something” she muses before going over to a radio and turning it on and The End by the Doors plays across the room.
“This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes, again”
She pours petrol over both men and does a lap of the house covering everything in sight
Can you picture what will be, so limitless and free
Desperately in need, of some, stranger's hand

And as the last verse finishes she throws the lighter in the door and walks away and seconds later the house is an inferno and then a deafening boom levels the house to pieces as Alexa watches on before driving off into the night.
