I just wanted to say, in reflection, thank you, PCW, for this year. I've been in this game since I was 15 (and a nuisance on boards back then that would have made Razor Blade blush) and I've been around. This fed contains not just an active, strong community with a good bond but some of the legitimately best writers I have encountered. About me, I write for an outlet and for therapeutic reasons. I suffer from crippling depression, anxiety and negative voices in my head all the time. I'm not sure that that shows in my writing at all, he said with trademark self-deprecating humor. So it feels important for me to have a place to write and be a part of, even if I can't show always think of what to say, it means a lot when some of the best writers I've seen tell me they liked something I wrote or that I put a lot of work into their match. I love you guys. *sniff*
So this pay-per-view and winning the gold just makes this entire year feel like the best I've had since I started doing this. And I hope I can keep working. And make sure that Razor Blade knows my gender.
To the feedback at hand, it really, really sucks that I won the title at a time when the most stacked World title scene of all is coming in. Off the top of my head we have Notorious in the conversation who've stolen the physical belt, we still have Seromine who is like the most looming threat, to me, Grimm is always and should always be in the back of people's minds if not the front of the main event rankings, Brenna Gordon returned. Epic things are kicking off.
Huge props go to Seromine for his half of the mule team assignments, he delivered two atmospheric, kick ass and breath taking matches. Good show, sir.
Best rps of the week in my mind and in no order are Grimm, Johnny V, Dominator, Stormm, Seromine.
Onward to the Iceys!

I'll provide more feedback asap. For now... Congratulations, Bryan! I'm incredibly happy for you. Well deserved win. I've thoroughly enjoyed your material from day one. You are a great partner to write matches with, and what little we've talked, a genuinely good guy. Couldn't be prouder for your success and wish you the absolute best as you start your reign. Then there is one of my best friends in this little hobby of ours. Justin. Congrats, my brother! You've come back re-energized with Joe, and it has shown since the Deadly Rumble. I've said it before, but I'm happy as heck you decided to return, and the same applies to Joe. You guys entertain me to no end. I appreciate all that you do from a graphics standpoint and a writing standpoint. We talk often, so you already know that I enjoy the banter. Keep up the awesome work! Notorious has been wildly entertaining

Johnny V and Stormm have always given us solid segments during their respective stints in PCW, and this PPV is no exception. Whether it’s this event’s opener or their Club V shinanigans, we can count on them to add a little flair to any event.
When it comes to no-show matches, I typically comment on how entertaining it is to see our mules write as if everyone gave it their best efforts…but sometimes enough is enough, and you guys got it right with the match opener. Whether it’s a veteran not writing for a PPV (and, let’s be honest, a really sketchy turnout record over the last several months) or folks flaking on their comebacks, I agree with Razor Blade putting an end to this one quickly.
I got to thinking while I was reading this…the introductions during the Grimm/ Johnny V match made me think of Apollo Creed dancing around with James Brown while Ivan Drago just stood in the ring. But much more festive (nice work, man).
Everybody got worked over, and everybody got to show off a little, in their matches tonight. Good reads all around!
Also – congratulations to Stormm! Congratulations to Kyle Shane! You guys earned it.
Strong work all around, everyone. That was a fun one.

As expected, Collision Course was exciting and we'll worth the anxiety; sorry, I meant, hype and buildup.
My hope with Vivacious is to have set up the character change I am about to make with him as such that it is not too shocking for most readers.
Thank you Nate, I couldn't have had a better time than I did setting up this match. Congrats on the win. There will come a time that Johnny gets brave again, but not as vivaciously the next time.
Jason, thank you for writing the match, it was fucking fantastic. It was every bit of the buildup and more. I appreciate your appreciation of character strategy.
I believe I worded it like this, “I am a strategy guy. I learned, you can't bitch about having your "life" botched in someone else's hands if you didn't help write it when able.” It was a text, please forgive the terrible grammar and punctuation. Anyway, I submit a ‘STRAT’ for every match, I encourage everyone to submit them and I am more than willing to collaborate with anyone.
That being said...
If Razor taught me anything this week, consistency can pull you through. I understand life happens, but three no shows in one match, damn where the luck lands. I appreciated the brevity.
I dig the strength the writing shows in Dom. It's in the roleplays, but it's potent in his entrance. Great job retaining. The writer put heavy emphasis on every creak and groan of the ring.
Congratulations to the new PCW North American Champion, the Murtaugh to my Riggs, Justin “Stormm” Michaels. We have been writing these stories, in some form or fashion, since 2000; this, my favorite time ever. I know it's not the title that Stormm wants, but ...stay tuned.
To Michaels and Vivacious’ “little buddy”, Kyle Shane, a very heartfelt and emotional show of support as you held your bel…
Seriously though, that role play was awesome. From reading the magazine interview, to annoying the stand owner through the end, it was great.
Some chick showed up with eyes for the snake.
...nope, sorry, you did not hold the belt high above your head because Notorious stole the damned thing. What assholes!
Favorite Match: Without being completely bias, because come on, anyway, Razor's. Brevity. Favorite Segment: Notorious, compromise. Favorite RP(s): Stormm, Shane, Grim
Please vote for Johnny Vivacious for the in-character awards you believe appropriate. As I have only been here since October, use your out of character votes for those who have been active longer.
Good luck everyone!
