PureClassWrestling.com has learned that Gabriel suffered a concussion during the three-team cage match on Trauma 224.
Pure Class Wrestling personnel suspected a concussion due to the fact that Gabriel hit his head several times during the match and did not seem to be as physically stable as usual both during and after the match. Immediately following his elimination from the match, precautionary impact testing was conducted which showed that Gabriel is below baseline, which means he sustained some sort of concussion.
Gabriel will not return to in-ring action until he is at baseline and passes an exertion test. To be determined at baseline, Gabriel must pass the aforementioned impact/neuropsych test at a later date. Only then will he be permitted to undergo exertion testing.
The timeline for his return to competitive action is currently unknown.
