Thursday, May 10h, 2018
We go live to a sold out Pure Class Arena where the PCW Faithful once again incredibly excited for another exciting show.
Jerry Andrews: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we are going to find out who will get the final spot in the Icemann Invitational Tournament!
Ace Anderson: I love battle royals!
Jerry Andrews: Plus, we have several HUGE match-ups taking place tonight. I'm Jerry Andrews and I'm glad you could join us.
Ace Anderson: And I'm Ace Anderson and I love battle royals!
Jerry Andrews: You said that already, Ace.
Ace Anderson: I know! I just love them so much!
Suddenly, the scene fades in to backstage, with the March Madness style white-board. A cacaphony of noise is going up as a hand comes up with a dry erase marker, X'ing out first High Tide, and then Tyler Scott's names. The race is narrowing down to it's next full round, with only the next unmarked spot marked by the Last Chance Battle Royale, represented on the whiteboard as it is surrounded by red markered ??? marks. The camera pulls back, and Kyle points to the camera crew and backstage workers who are getting and receiving money for this endeavor.
Kyle Shane: Another week of TIIT action is in the books, gentlemen and - one lady. Come on, everyone who placed a bet on Tyler Scott, it's time to pony up.
In line file, two production assistants come walking up, slapping money into Kyle's outstretched hand. He accepts with the widest shit-eating grin possible.
Production assistant #1: Some bullshit, Shane. This round wouldn't look this way if you weren't massaging the odds. You shouldn't even be running this pool. It ain't ethical.
Kyle Shane: I at no time promised ethical conduct. And I didn't influence the outcome of Tyler Scott's match, I was just there to watch.
Production assistant #1: Fool, don't you know that in scientific terms you affect the outcome of an experiment by observing it?!
Production assistant #2: I'll tell you what he's trying to do, he's trying to get Gabriel versus Seromine in the last match of block B. The payoff for that is going to be out of this world.
Trainer: Yeah, but come on, to do that he's going to have to "observe" his way to helping Gabriel through his next round too. Unless Gabriel can get by Justin Michaels on his own. That would screw up mister big shot's whole game plan.
Backstage worker: Yeah, but dude, aren't you worried about the enemies you're making out of this? Tyler Scott is snorting fucking fire after you screwed him over.
Shane counts the money out in between his hands with a big grin on his face.
Kyle Shane: I'm not worried about anyone in the tournament who's ass I've proven I can kick. And, hey, that's all of them!
Paramedic: Some big action is going to be tonight, the field is wide open with the Last Chance Battle Royale. Anyone can win that. AN- NEE... ONE.
Shane's eyebrow quirks up at that, then points to his crowd with his marker.
Kyle Shane: True enough. Boys, girl, who you got?
Production assistant #1: I'm putting 50 dollars on a surprise Sicko appearance, he loves battle royales.
Production assistant #2: Oh, come on, dude, Tyler Scott is really underrated, he's coming in with a lot to prove this week. Fifty on Tyler Scott.
Backstage worker: Hmmm nahhh, I'm thinking High Tide. But like, I'm not super confident in it, because, you know, it's High Tide, so... maybe I'll just bet five bucks...
Paramedic (cracking a smile): Hey, Shane, since you're in such a mood to manipulate the field to what you want, why aren't you entering?
Kyle Shane: ...What.
Paramedic: Uh, yeah, dude... you enter the battle royale yourself, you eliminate all of them, you do something nobody was expected and get in this tournament.
Wheels have been turning in Kyle's head since the idea was first mentioned, but now Kyle is nearly vibrating.
Paramedic: It would mean a chance to come from left field and get your name in the hat. And those are the longest odds of all, I mean how many people come from not even in the thing, to entering the Last Chance Battle Royale and getting to the finals.
The paramedic turns a shoulder from Kyle, examining her nails with a troublemaking grin.
Paramedic: The winner of this match, say, would get a rematch against Seromine, would go to the semifinals... would have a chance to win two Icemann Tournaments...
Kyle Shane (nearly foaming): Achievement freakin unlocked... Dude, has anyone ever gone into back to back finals before?
Backstage worker: Dude, how should I know, I just started working here six months ago...
Production assistant #2: Not knowing all the history of this fed from the start, but, no, no I don't think they have...
Production assistant #1: Shane - Shane, don't you do it, don't you make us change our bets...
Kyle Shane: No. You're right. Getting a rematch against Seromine, getting to most likely kick the ass of Justin Michaels and get bragging rights over something he hasn't been able to do, determining my destiny, these aren't worthwhile pursuits... but getting not just money, but a shitload of money... now that. That's something... So, who's betting against me here.
Everyone except the paramedic who was pushing Kyle here groans and throws up their hands. The scene switches back to ringside.
Jerry Andrews: What is Kyle Shane planning....?
Hiroshi Yukio steps through the curtain his face lit up with an evil smile followed closely by Alexa Black who loudly proclaims his greatness to the camera.
He walks slowly down the ramp as the booing intensifies as the PCW faithful don't hold back for the mountain man from Japan.
He waves mockingly to the crowd which pisses them off even more as he walks and when he sees a kid at ringside and holds up his sign and rips it in half then laughs
As he continues to walk down to the ring as the crowd grows louder and louder so even the announcers can't get a word in over the booing.
He goes up the ring steps and steps over the top rope and into the ring After he does he does a purification ritual by throwing salt in the ring to cleanse it before the match.
The music fades out as Hiroshi stays in the ring waiting for his opponent.
Jerry Andrews: Big chance for Hiroshi to recover some momentum after his frustrating exit from the TIIT opening round.
Ace Anderson: It's too bad we won't see Last Chance Battle Royale tonight, since he's already qualified for the second round. With his size, they're going to need a crane to lift him up over the ropes.
Jerry Andrews: Wow, Ace... it's 2018, that's considered fat-shaming.
Ace Anderson: Oh my God you are not going social justice warrior on me?! I just mean that he's too heavy to lift!
Jerry Andrews: It's just not culturally sensitive to say that!
Ace Anderson: Oh, go blog about it, you ass.
Sasha Greene: And his opponent, he weighs in at 220 lbs... ARSEN GOODSTONE!!
Jerry Andrews: Well here's a man who seems to personify "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", we've all received his flyers and I'm really questioning if this guy's, um, services are as legit as they sound.
Ace Anderson: Hey, it's better than looking on Craiglist for illicit aid. I think this guy has a certain menace about him.
Jerry Andrews: He is an unknown quality, we'll have to see if he can back up what he says.
Singles Match
Hiroshi Yukio vs Arsen Goodstone
Referee: Charles Lim
Hiroshi Yukio vs Arsen Goodstone
Referee: Charles Lim
At the bell, Hiroshi charges in at Goodstone. Goodstone quickly drops to a knee, passes behind Hiroshi, and pulls his pants back, and puts him to the mat with a quick roll up attempt!
The ref: One...
Kickout by Hiroshi, and he's not happy. Goodstone simply backs off and smiles at Hiroshi.
Jerry Andrews: We're not going to see a lot of rest holds and headlocks here.
Ace Anderson: Definately not. I don't think either man cares either. Goodstone can adapt to anyone's style, and it looks as if he's already started on a roll. Get it?
Jerry Andrews: Fantastic! We've degenerated into silly puns!
Hiroshi stands again, and this time moves forward a bit more methodically. Goodstone circles around and this time the two lock up in the center of the ring. Goodstone gets the advantage with a knee to the midsection. A quick grab of Hiroshi's hair, and Goodstone lifts his head, and puts his chest across his knee, knocking the wind out of the big man. Arsen Goodstone, moving quickly and efficiently, grabs the trunk like leg of Hiroshi and performs a dragon screw, twisting the knee. Goodstone rises again, and Hiroshi isn't all the way down, so Goodstone puts the boots to Hiroshi once again while the giant halfheartedly swats at him while holding his other arm across his aching abdomen. With a final kick to the gut Arsen grabs Anderson's chair and slams it into the sumo before taking off for the ring. The referee motions to start a ten count but Goodstone stops him before the count of one and orders him not to continue. Giving him a once-over then flitting a look to Hiroshi still tangled in the mess of chairs behind the desk, the ref shrugs his shoulders and holds his hands up signifying his cooperation.
Ace Anderson: Jesus H! Did anyone get the license plate number on that drive-by? Hey someone get this big oaf out from under my God damn chair.
Jerry Andrews: Hiroshi is being dominated right now and I believe Goodstone has just instructed the referee to avoid counting them out outside the ring. Looks like he wants to give Hiroshi the fight he's been asking for.
Moving back to the ropes Goodstone ascends the turnbuckles opposite to the corner that has steel steps next to it. Surveying the damage he offers up a half smile and turns to sit on the top turnbuckle with his body twisted to keep an eye on the giant. Andrews and Anderson remain standing beside their desk while the sumo paws at the chairs, pushing them aside and finally getting back to his feet, albeit gingerly. Glancing at his opponent perched on the top turnbuckle he listens to him berating him with regards to his demands for this match and begins to snarl, looking either side to the fans before nodding vengefully. He pauses however, and takes in his surroundings once more, most notably Arsen's position in-ring.
Ace Anderson: Damn he must be taking this seriously. Any other time he'd just barrel right back into the fight but he seems to have clocked Goodstone's intentions.
Jerry Andrews: He's pulled the wool right over his eyes with that early offense and now seems to be goading him to get back in the ring.
Hiroshi Yukio looks to the mat, the steel steps, then the opposite corner of the ring. With an angry stare directed at his opponent he spits on the floor and paces around to the other side of the ring, continually checking his mouth after spying a little crimson in his saliva. Arsen holds fast atop the turnbuckle, waiting patiently while Hiroshi stamps his feet up the steel steps opposite him and swings a leg over the top rope once more. That's the moment Arsen Goodstone chooses to spring off the top and charge across the ring, firing the flat of his boot into the same knee and exciting a yelp from Hiroshi. Hopping up and down on one leg the giant tries to pull his hurt leg over only for Arsen to kick his good leg and causing him to drop to the mat. His other leg pings over the top rope and he clutches the knee with both hands leaving him exposed to another round of kicks from Goodstone.
The giant roars with frustration as Arsen Goodstone begins throwing punches at his face every time he moves his arms down to protect his sternum. The first few punches and chops to the neck are light and fast and only serve to annoy the sumo, but when Goodstone finds his rhythm he begins sinking more power into each shot until every boot, punch, knee and elbow that connects does so with a blossoming sting. Taking a step back he lines up another shot to the head but in doing so gives the giant the opening he needs to intercept the ferocious roundhouse with both hands. The impact hurts like hell and he simultaneously shifts his full grip to one hand and uses the other to pull himself to his feet before Goodstone can counter. Goodstone's expression turns to one of horror and he tries to counter with an enziguri but just as he tenses up to execute the counter Hiroshi pulls his stray leg higher off the ground forcing him to hop around on the other leg to stay vertical. The sumo holds him there like that for a few, jerking his leg each time he feels him trying to strike back before himself striking out with a massive open hand chop across Goodstone's chest. "WHOOOOOOO" responds the crowd. After the slap connects Hiroshi pushes Arsen's leg away causing him to stumble back onto his butt clutching his chest. The sumo snaps forward extending his good knee and connecting with Goodstone's face, laying him out. A quick turn into the ropes and the giant returns with a big elbow, focusing the impact on Arsen's pelvis. Seething with pain, Goodstone snaps back with a straight left to the mouth, turning the dried spot of blood on Hiroshi's lip where he scorpion-kicked him into a welling wound. The giant feels the hot wetness pumping to the surface and purses his lips, blowing hard between them and sending a crimson spray into the eyes of Arsen Goodstone. Goodstone scrubs the blood from his eyes with the back of his hand while he's on all fours, which gives Hiroshi the opening to wrap both arms around his waist and with the greatest of ease pulls him up and executes a release German suplex. Goodstone emits a loud howl as he hits the mat hard, limbs sprawled out. The reaction warrants a cocked eyebrow from the giant who approaches his motionless body and gives him a kick in the back which goes unanswered.
Ace Anderson: Well you were spot on Jerry, looks like the power game has stalled Goodstone, in fact he's looking pretty lifeless right now.
Jerry Andrews: Oh he's far from lifeless. Fatigued maybe, but there's still plenty of life in there yet.
Convinced Goodstone is out for the count, Hiroshi uses his foot to shift him onto his back where the 22E-size sole comes to rest on his torso as the referee makes the count.
The referee: One...
Two... Kickout.
Goodstone wisely kicks out by twisting to the side causing Hiroshi to lose his footing, allowing him to hook his leg and as he continues to roll away pulls it from under him tripping him up onto his ass. Dropping his leg he carries on under the ropes until he pops up onto his feet at ringside and without missing a beat Goodstone pulls himself straight back up onto the apron and as Hiroshi gets to one knee he springboards off the top rope and executes a hurricanrana that drives the sumo's skull into the hard section of canvas near the ropes. Without hesitation Goodstone goes for the cover.
The referee: One..
Two... Kickout.
Wisely, Hiroshi rolls out of the ring and onto the floor, hoping for a moment to catch his breath.
Jerry Andrews: This Goodstone has recovered from the beating he took from Hiroshi for the last few moments and now has the big man reeling!
Ace Anderson: That's for sure. He's absolutely en fuego!
Hiroshi stands on the outside, putting his arms behind his head in an attempt to catch his breath. The camera focuses on him, but the ring ropes shake behind him. A second too late, Hiroshi turns around to see the body of Goodstone flying over the top rope, to the delight of the fans. Both men are on the floor, Hiroshi looking up at the lights, and Goodstone writhing in pain. He landed awkwardly on his shoulder, but, judging by the looks of it, it was more of a knock than anything else.
Jerry Andrews: I don't like how that looked.
Ace Anderson: I don't like it either. They're both down and the official is making the count on the outside. This could be a double countout!
Jerry Andrews: Why do we even have outside the ring counts anymore? It's so passe, don't you think?
Ace Anderson: Maybe. I don't make up the rules though.
Finally, Goodstone starts to stand up, along with Hiroshi, the two almost at the same point. Hiroshi lashes out a punch, but it's blocked by Goodstone, who returns one of his own. Another shot from Hiroshi, another block, another return. Goodstone now grabs the arm of Hiroshi, and pushes him forward, sending him toward the steel post at the corner of the ring. But wait! Hiroshi reverses, and pushes Goodstone into it! Goodstone crumbles like a ton of bricks to the canvas!
Jerry Andrews: Goodstone hit right on that left shoulder he hurt just a few moments ago, and now he's holding it again! This may be the end of Goodstone!
Ace Anderson: Hiroshi's doing the right thing. Take away Goodstone's arms, and he's not going to be able to lift him. Great idea for Hiroshi.
Jerry Andrews: I'm still worried about Goodstone.
Hiroshi rolls under the bottom rope for a split second, before going back to the outside, resetting the ten count. Hiroshi smiles a sick, sadistic smile at Goodstone as he makes his way over toward him. Hiroshi grabs Goodstone by the left arm, and threads it between the bottom rope in the ring, and the steel post. His smile fades to ferocity as he steps backwards, pulling Goodstone forward, and into the ring post again. Once more, Goodstone falls down, clutching at that left shoulder. Hiroshi grabs him from the floor, and lifts him onto a shoulder. He lines up the shot, picks Goodstone up into the air, and launches him shoulder first into the post once more. Goodstone hits with a sickening thud, as the crowd gasps.
Jerry Andrews: Hiroshi is absolutely dismantling Goodstone here! This is sick!
Ace Anderson: Things are not looking well for the hired gun, that's for damn sure.
Once again, Hiroshi rolls into the ring, as the fans boo him, relentlessly.
Hiroshi soaks up the venom, and goes back to the outside, grabbing Goodstone, and rolling him into the ring. Goodstone goes to one knee, and waits for Hiroshi to return, tossing a right arm to the midsection of the monster. Hiroshi winces at the attack, as Goodstone throws another one. A quick clubbing blow to the back of the head stops the attack and the fan's reaction to the attempted comeback by Goodstone. Acting quickly, Hiroshi lifts Goodstone off the canvas, up to a standing position, and locking his arms around Goodstone's midsection. With a quick lift and a toss backwards, the two fall into a belly to belly suplex, with Goodstone landing on his back, on the left side, doing more damage to that left shoulder.
Jerry Andrews: Hiroshi is absolutely in command here!
Ace Anderson: No question. If he keeps this focus, this match is his!
Once again, Hiroshi stands, and moves over toward Goodstone, this time going for a cover. He hooks a leg as the referee counts the pinfall.
The referee: One...
Two... Kickout by Goodstone.
Ace Anderson: That was close. Hiroshi thinks he got the three count, and starts to berate the referee for the slow count.
Hiroshi comes up to his knees, and sighs. He grabs Goodstone's head, and pulls him up, turning him backwards as the two stand up. Hiroshi quickly falls to one knee, pulling Goodstone down with him, and cracking his shoulder on the outstretched knee. Goodstone winces with the impact, and sits on his backside. Hiroshi stands quickly, and pushes himself off the ropes. As he returns, he lifts his right foot, and kicks Goodstone in his shoulder. Goodstone winces once again, as his back tenses, and the crowd lets out an "Oooh" with the crack of the leg on back. Once more, Hiroshi backs up, and pulls a foot back to kick again. Pulling his strength, Goodstone turns left, catching Hiroshi by surprise, turning around, and grabbing the side of Hiroshi's knee, driving him to the canvas. The crowd goes nuts as Goodstone pulls himself up Hiroshi's chest, and throws a few rights to his face, stunning his opponent. Hiroshi starts to sit up, and Goodstone drives an elbow across his forehead, knocking the bejesus out of Hiroshi. Goodstone stands up, and points a finger at Hiroshi, miming putting him down with a killshot.
Jerry Andrews: The fans are coming out of their seats now.
Ace Anderson: Things are looking bad for Hiroshi now. Goodstone's got the potential to end this on one move.
Jerry Andrews: And it looks like he's sizing Hiroshi up for it!
Indeed Goodstone stands, waiting for Hiroshi to start stumbling to his feet. He can't lift him so effectively, but Goodstone is able to get the big man disoriented and off his feet with one good push, Hiroshi is backed into the ropes. Arsen follows him in with a knee to the breadbasket, and then he wraps Hiroshi's arms up and begins trying to tie them between the ropes. The referee tries to intervene and slide between them, but Goodstone shouts at him and makes him back off. Arsen finished tying the big man's arms up in the ropes, and proceeds to land haymaker after haymaker, all the while talking shit to his opponent and hurling epithets, until the ropes uncoil, allowing the giant to slip free of the ropes and fall to the mat.
Jerry Andrews: Oh my god! Arsen Goodstone must have hands made of granite!!
Ace Anderson: Hiroshi is definitely crossed eyed right now after that succession of hard shots to the unprotected face.
Jerry Andrews: Yet no pinfall from Goodstone.
Ace Anderson: I think he just enjoys causing pain more than winning.
Arsen Goodstone gets to his feet, intimidating the official. On the outside, Alexa Black is slapping the mat, yelling for Hiroshi to get up. Arsen finally waves the official off in irritation, ready to finish what he started. He goes to lift the big man up in a facelock, but the giant sumo lifts him up onto a shoulder while he is still holding the headlock applied. Goodstone's head whips back and forth in surprise as he is lifted into the air. Hiroshi turns it into an airplane spin over his shoulders for a few rotations and then he dumps Goodstone right on his side!! Goodstone yells and holds his hip in pain, and he scoots to one knee, gasping and yelling, unable to believe the sudden reversal. Hiroshi, quick as possible, lifts him up and demolishes him with a pumphandle drop into a reverse STO, the Hiroshima Hammer. Badly gassed and winded, Hiroshi lays on his belly, drawing in lungfuls of air.
Jerry Andrews: Hiroshi may have it, but he's too beat to capitalize!!
Ace Anderson: Think how this would look, if someone wanted to engage mister Goodstone's "services", this would be like seeing the worst resume ever if he goes out on a loss!
Hiroshi drapes one hand on Goodstone's chest.
The referee: One...
Two...
Three- Kickout!!
The crowd gasps in amazement as Goodstone spasms out of the count. Hiroshi groans, rolling onto his back and staring straight up, running his hands through his hair. Alexa Black, his second, screams at both him and the ref, telling him it was almost his. Alexa orders Hiroshi to get back in this. Hiroshi looks at her blankly, then asks her what he needs to do. Alexa tells Hiroshi to finish him off. Hiroshi nods weakly, and he grabs Arsen's hand with a slow, weary drag to his body. He pulls Goodstone over to the corner, and then he takes his time getting up. Still reeling from the hard shots which scrambled his brain, Hiroshi slips a bit as he pulls himself up first onto the second rope, then as he gets one foot and the next foot up to the top rope. He's hanging onto the turnbuckles positioned over Goodstone, getting ready for a Banzai drop.
Ace Anderson: Oh, no. Hiroshi is going to literally kill Goodstone with this.
Jerry Andrews: Hiroshi is setting up for the Mount Fuji Drop!!
Ace Anderson: So named because of the tons of weight coming down across your chest!!
Hiroshi bounces once, twice, and then he hops off, intending to bring his backside down across Goodstone's sternum, but Goodstone's eyes open up wide and he has the good sense to roll a very far distance across the ring. Hiroshi hits the mat butt first and his mouth stretches wide in a grimace of pain from the missed Banzai drop, but Goodstone still can't get up from the last big move he'd taken, either. They lay there like that for several moments, until Goodstone regains his footing from a kneeling position first. Hiroshi gingerly picks himself up as well, as a weak and slow moving Goodstone backs up to the rope. Gathering speed, he backs into the ropes and runs towards Hiroshi, hammering him hard with a punch delivered clothesline from hell style, a running knock out shot. Hiroshi's head is wobbling like a bobblehead doll as he steps around the ring, and then he collapses. Arsen takes a few heaps of air, then smiles at his successful tactic, scrambling into the cover.
Jerry Andrews: He calls that Debt Collector!!
Ace Anderson: I call it Tooth Collector, what a hit!!
The referee and the crowd: One...
Two...
Three!!
Ding Ding Ding
Sasha Greene: Here is your winner... ARSEN GOODSTONE!!
"Ghost" by Clutch hits on the PA as Arsen shoots an arm up, celebrating his first victory. He gets to his feet and has the referee raise his hand.
Jerry Andrews: A hard fought win in his debut for Arsen Goodstone, I see big things for this man.
Ace Anderson: If he delivers like this for everyone who wants his "help", I see a lot of trouble brewing in the roster.
Hiroshi rolls over to Alexa, on the apron, and she is freaking out, berating him and asking him what he was thinking. Arsen Goodstone exits the ring, smiling and laughing and walking up the ramp as Alexa tends to Hiroshi, who is still laying on his side groggy and not knowing where he is.
Sasha Greene: The following is a non-title match scheduled for one fall, introducing first, weighing in at 217 lbs... GABRIEL!
The lights go out. Suddenly the arena is completely lit up with white light as the opening notes of "There's a World" by Neil Young play. Gabriel emerges, wearing a tan button up shirt, brown overalls and heavy dark boots. He clasps his hands together and smiles widely before walking down to the ring.
"There's a world you're living in
No one else has your part
All God's children in the wind
Take it in and blow hard.
Look around it, have you found it
Walking down the avenue?
See what it brings,
could be good things
In the air for you.."
Gabriel climbs the ring steps and pauses. He then enters the ring, says a quick prayer, and awaits his opponent.
Ace Anderson: This guy is chomping at the bit to get going tonight, wouldn't you say, Jerry.
Jerry Andrews: Gabriel has been a changed, some would say driven man since he returned from his concussion, and he has been desperate to make up for his failings in the eyes of Seromine.
Ace Anderson: Yeah, usually Gabriel is a cagey animal, but he's got the desperation in his eyes and the mean streak to try anything lately, even if it meant chewing off his own arm. Gabriel is dangerous.
Jerry Andrews: Lets not forget that he feels like he was insulted last Trauma by our World Champion. Gabriel and Shane have a complicated history.
Ace Anderson: In a weird way, they're almost mirrors of each other. But you're right, Shane did put himself right in Gabriel's sights last Trauma, and now Gabriel wants to make him pay.
Sasha Greene: And his opponent, weighs in at 218 lbs... he is the Pure Class Wrestling World Champion... KYLE SHAAAAAAANE!!!
The opening notes of "In The Morning And Amazing" by Circa Survive begins to play. The big screen shows shots of Kyle’s matches. Kyle Shane steps slowly out onto the stage. Kyle adjusts the hood of his Destiny cloak, peering out at the crowd. The distinctive voice of Anthony Green hits the bridge:
"And how could anyone
You are in my dreams
Half human, half machine
You with someone else that I have felt and seen
I cannot rest, or my consciousness contest
Looking right through the lens
From winter brings the spring again"
Kyle tilts his head back and holds his arms out, taking in the reception of the crowd. For the PCW faithful that are just getting to know him, there is a modest show of respect, but the truly dedicated that have followed his career stir mightily. Some on the sides of the aisles even make a fanning bow motion as Kyle walks by. 1/2 the way down the aisle, Kyle pivots, holding his arms up to either side of him. He climbs onto the apron. Kyle balances on the ropes for a moment, points to himself and smirks, holding his arms out, and then he hops down, takes off his hood and stretches a few times to get ready.
Jerry Andrews: He's brash, he's arrogant, but dammit, there isn't anyone in this company, in this industry quite like Kyle Shane right now.
Ace Anderson: The World Champion has been flaunting his new upgrades in ring gear and style since he came into some money.
Jerry Andrews: Have the rumors I've been hearing about a secret betting pool been accurate? Has Shane been playing the odds and taking book on the Icemann Invitational Tournament action?
Ace Anderson: Well, uhhh, let's just say I may owe him a few schmeckels for my picks, and leave it at that.
Non-Title Singles Match
Kyle Shane (Pure Class Wrestling World ©) vs Gabriel
Referee: Eric Russo
Kyle Shane (Pure Class Wrestling World ©) vs Gabriel
Referee: Eric Russo
Shane looks across the ring at Gabriel, and smiles at him, holding his arms out, saying "You should be thanking me!" Gabriel, not pleased, instead flips out and tells Kyle that he is a degenerate sinner who only cares about money and glory.
Ace Anderson: Look, let's just say that Kyle Shane attempted to game the system last week because of long odds on a certain someone winning his match against Tyler Scott, and Gabriel isn't too happy about the implications.
Jerry Andrews: Oh my. Well, this could be interesting...
Shane is still in the mode as he is holding his arms out, telling Gabriel to give him some credit for the win. Gabriel, incensed, comes towards Shane, shoving him. Shane, piqued and mouthing "Hell no you did not just - " shoves Gabriel back. The crowd boos as Gabriel lands a stiff shot, Shane fires right back with a shot, Gabriel lands a knife edge chop across the chest of Shane! Shane comes right back with an open handed chop across the chest of Gabriel! Gabriel swings with a right hand only to be blocked by Shane, Kyle counters with a right hand rocking the challenger back against the ropes. Shane comes forward only to have Gabriel come off the ropes with a boot the midsection where he quickly looks to deliver the headlock driver only to have Shane squirm free by dropping to the mat and sliding out to the floor! Gabriel walks towards the ropes showing Kyle how close he was to suffering a humiliating defeat. The referee backs Gabriel up before turning around to lay the count to Kyle only to find Kyle crawling up to the ring apron where he re-enters the ring. Shane and Gabriel circle each other before locking up center ring. Each man jockey for position, they continue to jockey before it's Gabriel who snaps Shane over with a deep arm drag. There's a pop for Gabriel as he reaches his feet while Shane reaches his knee's. Gabriel kneels towards Shane while screaming in his face.
Gabriel: REPENT, SINNER! THIS COMPANY BELONGS TO MY LORD!!
The crowd pops as Kyle Shane responds with a middle finger right in front of the eyes, shouting back to Gabriel defiantly.
Kyle Shane: FUCK YOUR LORD AND FUCK YOU!
Jerry Andrews: It's clearly a matter of time before this one simply breaks down!
The referee tries to talk to Gabriel only to have Gabriel brush past him as Shane stands to his feet catching Gabriel coming in with a thumb to the eye! The crowd responds with a ferocious roar as Shane drives Gabriel back into a corner where he unloads with right hands before swapping with chops across the chest before transitioning into boots to the chest before bringing Gabriel out of the corner with a snap mare take over which is followed up with a shining wizard! Shane quickly makes the cover hooking the near leg of Gabriel.
The referee: One... Kickout.
Gabriel throws a shoulder up the mat breaking the count. Shane gets back up onto his feet within milliseconds of Gabriel’s elbow bouncing off the canvas and delivers a sharp kick to Gabriel’s chest as he reaches a kneeling position. Gabriel winces, winded from the thrust of Kyle’s foot. He goes for a second, but this time Gabriel catches his foot and twists it sharply, throwing Kyle off his feet. Gabriel clambers to his feet, slapping an ankle lock in place. Kyle grimaces as Gabriel tries to twist the ankle like a stubborn bottle cap. Kyle is able to grab a hold of the nearest rope, yet Gabriel hauls Kyle back into the center of the ring before the referee can force Gabriel to break the hold. Not yielding to Gabriel’s early submission hold, Kyle tries to fold his head and neck beneath his torso, succeeding in flipping himself over and sending Gabriel flying into the ropes with a helpful shove from his free boot.
Jerry Andrews: These two are going back and forth in what has been a fast-paced start to this match.
Gabriel gets back to his feet right into a deep arm drag from Shane. Gabriel, turned inside out, stumbles to his feet, and Kyle grips the arm, irish whips him into the corner and follows in for a monkey flip that throws Gabriel all the way across the ring! Gabriel tries to move himself away from the ropes and instead settles himself in one of the turnbuckles. As he turns, he is met with a full-steam straight ahead splash from Kyle Shane, who had charged all the way from the opposite corner. Gabriel stumbles forwards a little, Kyle leads him towards the center of the ring before delivering a leg drop bulldog to Gabriel. Kyle Shane goes for a swift cover…
The ref: One
Two- Kickout from Gabriel.
Kyle is undeterred. He goes to lift Gabriel up but is met by a heelish thumb to the eye. Gabriel then throws Kyle swiftly between the middle and top rope to the outside, and he rests before getting to his feet.Gabriel exits the ring, finding Kyle Shane, gripping his forehead before delivering a stiff punch right to the face that sends Kyle stumbling about five feet away. He rolls in, and back out to break a ten-count. Then, he lifts Kyle Shane up and irish whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Ace Anderson: He's got Shane locked in the crossface dead center of the ring!
Gabriel cranks back further and further on the crossface as the referee is shown getting in position, he asks Kyle to surrender. Shane waves the referee off before starting to push himself up. He tries to pull one of Gabriel's hands loose as he pushes himself up on all fours, before turning and sitting out of it and going to Gabriel's side, the arm he has control of wrapped around his leg as he pulls in the other arm, bending it painfully out of socket with a seated elevated wristlock armbar. Gabriel howls in pain as Shane sits back in the hold, kicking Gabriel in the head with the bottom of his boot as he pulls the arm at an angle it shouldn't go.
Jerry Andrews: And Shane manages to turn the crossface into Exodus Black!!
Ace Anderson: Gabriel looks like he's seconds away from tapping or passing out, but that caged rat mentality, he is not going to let Shane get away with disrespecting his faith.
Shane now cranks back on Gabriel with elevated wristlock. The ref starts asking Gabriel to surrender. Gabriel refuses to surrender as Kyle cranks back harder and harder on the hold. Gabriel raises his right hand up off the mat. Just when you think he's going to tap, actually it's the exact opposite, Gabriel manages to get his free hand across the face of Shane before raking him across the eyes! The crowd roars as Shane breaks the hold. Shane uncoils from the arm of Gabriel, falling back and wiping at his eyes. Shane is on dizzy street as the referee goes for the count.
The ref and the crowd: ONE...

THREE - Shane kicks out! Shane kicks out!
Jerry Andrews: What a match we're seeing here tonight!!
The crowd roars as Gabriel makes a cross slashing motion, saying he's had enough. He goes to Shane's arms and stomps on them, pulling Shane's wrist taut and then stomping on it hard enough to make anyone else cringe. Gabriel lays a few more harsh stomps to Shane's wrist and elbow, then he gathers both arms in and twists over, forming a bridge to do a bridging double arm bar, aka the cattle mutilation, better known by Gabriel as the Crucified. Shane screams in agony and now it's his turn to have his arms feeling like they're being pulled out of socket. Gabriel bobs his head, imploring Shane to just give up. There is an excruciating eternity of moments as Shane can't turn as Gabriel is keeping control of his top half, and Shane inches using his lower body, trying to find a position that will allow him to get out of the hold.
Jerry Andrews: Those arms are bent all the way back in the Crucified, it gets to a point where ligaments and fibers are at their breaking point.
Ace Anderson: Shane, you are the World champion, you don't have anything else to prove, you've given the best effort tonight, just give up and don't suffer a broken arm.
Jerry Andrews: There's too much on the line for him to give up. Pride, honor, and for Shane, him taking control.
Shane screams out in pain, and it looks like he hasn't gotten much headway in trying to scoot his lower half as he kicks a foot behind him, yet finally, after several more prolonged moments in the hold, he's close enough to get his foot on the ropes behind him! The referee calls for the break, yet Gabriel refuses to release the hold! The referee starts to lay the count to Gabriel. He gets to a count of four, four and a half, four and three quarters... Gabriel releases the hold before the ref's five count, he's admonished as he starts working his way back to his feet. Gabriel comes forward where he reaches down to pick Kyle up only to have Shane counter the pick up attempt by sitting down on the arm and pulling Gabriel onto his stomach, reaching over and YANKING the top wristlock in painfully and stretching it all the way across Gabriel's back in a very painful jerking motion. Gabriel shouts in agony as the armbar in locked in a second time.
Ace Anderson: EXODUS BLACK YET AGAIN!!
The referee is in prime position as he asks Gabriel to surrender. Gabriel waves off the ref as Shane cranks back on the hold.
Jerry Andrews: Is Gabriel going to tap!?

The crowd, counting along as if there was a referee there: ONE...

Frustrated, Gabriel breaks off the cover. Snarling at the referee, he shakes him by his belt, imploring him to wake his slothful, sinning body up.
"NO-TOR-I-OUS!"
"SO NO-TOR-I-OUS!"
The arena lights dim down to a gentle glow and a dense fog begins to cover the entrance way. The fans start to rise to their feet as a sudden bright flash of light floods the crowd before a deafening crash of thunder rattles the foundation and leaves the arena in darkness. "Notorious" by Adelitas Way instigates a small riot amongst those in attendance as flashes of light, like lightning, are all that illuminate the arena for the Force of Nature. Gabriel, very confused, looks around, not seeing Justin "Stormm" Michaels coming down the ramp or at ringside, but his music is still going on as he continues trying to revive the referee.
"SO NO-TOR-I-OUS!"
Jerry Andrews: Is that- Is that Justin Michaels?!
Ace Anderson: I don't see him??
Jerry Andrews: His music hit, and now Gabriel's head is on a swivel!
Ace Anderson: But why is Stormm coming out here?!
Jerry Andrews: Well, going by the brackets I'd surmise it's because Gabriel meets Michaels in the next round... but Michaels has no love lost for Kyle Shane, either. Who is Michaels out here for? And where the hell is he?!
Choosing discretion and keeping an eye on the ramp for Michaels, Gabriel scoops Shane up before slamming him to the mat. Gabriel makes his way towards the ropes, he steps out to the ring apron before walking towards the nearest set of turnbuckles. The crowd crowd roars as Gabriel starts climbing up to the top rope!
Jerry Andrews: The hell is Gabriel going to do!?
Gabriel stands up top, he eyes Kyle Shane but then suddenly, Justin Michaels DOES choose to make his appearance, and he comes up onto the apron and shoves Gabriel off the top rope, sending him crashing to the mat below! The crowd gives a humongous split reaction at Stormm, who hops down and has a big, devious grin, but he's only looking at one man. Kyle Shane.
Jerry Andrews: Michaels is looking right at the World champion as he retreats, and it's plain this is sending a message.
Ace Anderson: Yeah, you tried gaming the system and trolling the Icemann Tournament on last Trauma, well two can play at that game.
As Shane is looking on in disbelief, Stormm walks calmly in a circuit around the ring, keeping eye contact with Shane the entire time. Shane pushes himself to a seated position, squinting and tilting his head, confused and annoyed as he looks back at Michaels. Gabriel is still writhing in pain on the mat. The crowd is loudly booing. As Stormm exits up the ramp, he makes a mocking "Tip of the cap" gesture to Shane, yelling that Shane can thank him later. Shane grips the ropes as he looks at Stormm, in a frustrated, piqued outrage.
Jerry Andrews: I think this is all about the finals of the TIIT, and who is going to get their shot at Kyle Shane's title.
Shane, still standing by the ropes and snarling at Stormm, quickly turns, sensing Gabriel is getting weakly to his knees behind him, unsure of where he is. Shane buries a roundhouse spin kick into the side of Gabriel's jaw before he can even fully rise, letting Gabriel collapse back to the mat. Shane goes for the pin.
Ace Anderson: VATS connects, and Gabriel is down.
Jerry Andrews: Well, not without controversy, but I think it's fair to say it's over now.
The referee slumps over and makes a weak, shaking count.
The referee: ONE...
TWO...
THREE!!
Ding Ding Ding
Ace Anderson: Wait... the announcement who's going to say it, Sasha is still getting checked for a concussion? Sasha, my love??
Jerry Andrews: Sigh, I'll say it. Give me that. HERE IS YOUR WINNER... KYLE SHANE!!
Ace Anderson (after Jerry sits back down): Your voice doesn't have the dulcet sweetness of Sasha's.
Jerry Andrews: Shut up, Ace, Sasha will be fine after we go to commercial. In the meantime, let's talk about this match.
Kyle Shane sits by Gabriel, frustrated and looking on after where Stormm had exited, a frown on his face.
Ace Anderson: Shane got a lot of people's attention with his actions last Trauma, Jerry. It's simple, the Icemann Invitational Tournament gives these people a chance for a title shot, and since Kyle poked his head out of the ground, that means that everyone is looking at him now. Justin Michaels just showed him that, and so did Gabriel.
Kyle Shane snatches his World title belt from a ring crew handing it to him, and he exits the ring with an irritated, sulky look. Gabriel is still trying to collect himself in the ring as Shane walks up the ramp, the title over his shoulder.
Jerry Andrews: What a match we just saw, though.
Trauma returns to the view of a shaky camera person running down the hallway. The running finally stops and the camera focuses on something. A referee is found face down on the floor, with a pool of blood around his head. It's not obvious who the injured official is, but what is obvious is what's written on the wall behind him. It is is a spraypainted message, "A deal is a deal. Don't break your contract with Goodstone."
We return to ringside.
Sasha Greene: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Jerry Andrews: This should be one hell of a match, folks. Everyone involved won their opening round match in the Icemann Invitational!
The lights slowly fade to black. Flashes of cameras give intermittent glimmers of the darkened surroundings. There is a moment of silence as the crowd awaits with anticipation. The Tron slowly illuminates with the image of a ticking clock as the opening rift to TRIVIUM’s cover of “Losing My Religion” echo throughout the arena. The crowd suddenly comes alive as the guitars make themselves heard. Horacio Mortimer appears on the stage, holding out his arm in an expression of beholding. As the first verse begins to play, he finally appears on the top of the stage…
…DOMINATOR…
The Zenith glares towards the crowd massed to his left, then to his right before slowly raising his left arm into the air, revealing a gold plated watch that envelopes his wrist. A shower of orange sparks begin to fall from the top of the Tron, briefly masking the Entrance Video as Dominator shows off his bulging biceps to the crowd. All the while, Horacio Mortimer is applauding his client and calling some last minute tactics to him.
He slowly walks down the ramp with a gleam in his eye, a wicked and arrogant smirk spread amidst his dark stubble. He makes no attempt to slap hands with the fans. He reaches the ring apron, grabbing the middle rope to haul him onto the side of the ring. He pushes down the top rope with his right hand, throwing one foot over the top before the other follows. He slowly makes his way to the center of the ring, turning a full three hundred and sixty degrees to admire the capacity crowd before raising his arms in the air in the exact same manner as he had done atop the entrance ramp, lifting them with malicious purpose to display the watches covering his wrists.
He cricks his neck back and forth before swinging his arms in preparation for the impending fight. All the while, that devious smile is still on his face and he looks to make eye contact with his opponent without a single hint of intimidation. Horacio Mortimer patrols the perimeter of the ring. The music slowly fades, the lights returning to a more average level of illumination as Dominator waits
Jerry Andrews: Wait just a minute... Dominator isn't in this match!
Ace Anderson: I guess he's scouting the competition. After all, you're right, all of these competitors are in the second round of the tournament.
Dominator is joined at ringside by Horacio Mortimer. The two stand at ringside, awaiting the action.
Jerry Andrews: Well... I guess that's okay, but him being out here makes me nervous.
Ace Anderson: He's allowed to watch.
Lights dim and the PCW-Tron goes black. With the sound of a sharp nib scratching across a ragged sheet of parchment, a sepia-toned cursive scrawls grimm across the screen. The name flickers, wavering in and out of focus with the occasional tracking glitch as if projected from an old forgotten film canister uncovered on the bottom shelf in the cellar. Sparse percussion resonates throughout the arena and is soon joined by a droning, distorted bass line. At that, A Perfect Circle’s ”Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums” stomps out of the speakers and marches through the aisles. The drums, the distortion, the voices – all work to herald the arrival of the Hangtown Horror.
Sasha Greene: Introducing first, he hails from Hangtown, Kentucky. Weighing Two hundred and seventeen pounds, GRIMM!
At ringside, all of the lights turn off suddenly, unceremoniously plunging the entire arena in darkness.
Spotlights appear, in purest white light and begin searching across the crowd, ring, ramp and eventually settling on the stage.
The lights flicker from white, to blue, to white again before the sounds of shattering glass are heard echoing through the arena and the spotlights seem to dissipate.
Sasha Greene: From San Francisco, California. STACY JONES!
A moment of silence that hangs throughout the arena until the lights flash on and off, bright and sudden, like a strobe effect before a pyrotechnic crackles around the big screen as "Awake and Alive" by Skillet plays, the spotlights back now, the bright white light appears to dance around the crowd as a blonde haired woman walks out on to the stage ready to tackle the challenge ahead of her.
The camera gets up close to the stage to get the woman on screen. She is wearing black wrestling tights emblazoned with an angel wing design around the top and a white belt. On top, she wears a black and white matching top and shoulder pads with a pair of sunglasses as she confidently walks to the ring to face her opponent.

Jerry Andrews: He should’ve kept going south...if you catch my drift.
Seromine is doubled over from impact, rendering him incapable of following through, but once again, everyone finds themselves down and in various states of punishment. The referee begins counting all four down. Movement isn’t found until mid-count with each competitor using opposite sides of the ring to push and pull themselves back up. He ORDERS the commentary team to “Get the fuck out of my way!” as he throws their chairs in their general direction. Seromine grabs Stormm by the head, leading him up onto the table. Stormm is pulled towards a short-arm clothesline. HE COUNTERS! SEROMINE IS DRIVEN THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE WITH A FORCE OF NATURE!!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
Fans are rabid after the visual impact of that. Both men are down with splinted announce desk all around them like a bomb went off. Inside of the ring, Grimm is working himself back from the submission he was under, while Stacy is still feeling the effect of Stormm’s finisher on her. KYLE SHANE has arrived. He confidently makes his way to where Stormm and Seromine is, while also drawing Grimm’s laser beam ire from inside the ring. Kyle has with him a handful of money. He crouches down to flip it in the face of Stormm. Michaels DECKS him with all her has, sending money flying into the stands. Kyle is favoring his face as Stormm picks himself up. Kyle responds in kind with a MUSIC OF THE SPHERES! Kyle taunts him while the referee is distracted by the action of Stacy Jones and Grimm.
DESTINY WILLARD IS HERE!
She is seen slithering from under the ring with a malicious smile on her face and wide eyed glee. Kyle turns to leave when he is MISTED in the eyes, turning his face red. Destiny laughs herself silly with the deed. A little measure of payback for his stunt last Trauma, perhaps? That smile disappears into a serious expression as she charges with a running knee to Stormm’s head, crushing it against the railing. Destiny drags Stormm to the ring, muscling him inside. She then races to her husband’s side, aiding him to his feet while giving him instruction. Destiny throws the referee an innocent smile and air halo before disappearing back under the ring, much to the thundering boos of the crowd.
GRIMM HITS STACY WITH THE HARVEST!
SEROMINE HAS STORMM PINNED!

3!!
This one is over!
Jerry Andrews: There was a double pin...who won this, Grimm or Seromine?!
Ace Anderson: Everything has delved into chaos! Kyle Shane! Destiny Willard! The loss of money, oh my!
The official’s decision is in.....
.... and the boo birds only intensify as Seromine has his arm raised!
Sasha Greene: Here is the winner of the match, SEROMINE!
Grimm is back on his feet, angered, as he starts explaining he had Stacy Jones pinned! The referee explains the situation to him, letting him know that he didn’t see it because he was focused on Seromine’s pin first. A dazed, but celebratory Seromine, shoves the referee out of the way as he goes face-to-face with Grimm. Seromine delivers the news again, adding fingers for each number. Grimm’s cold stare pierces Seromine’s soul.
“You have a fucking problem with it, sinner?!” Seromine snaps.
Grimm promptly mists him for his troubles. Blinded by black substance, Seromine fires back with red mist of his own. The two blind men engage in a brawl of their own, not seeing where their fists are landing, only that they are landing. Meanwhile, outside of the ring, Kyle Shane has since wiped his face clean. Or as clean as he can. He goes to retrieve where he dropped his World Title...but it’s missing!
Jerry Andrews: Kyle Shane is throwing a fit at ringside! His property has gone missing like his money!
Kyle squawks at the referee about the theft…
Theft? That brings a memory back for the World Champion…
He turns only to be BLASTED in the face with his title from Justin “Stormm” Michaels, who then proudly raises both that and HIS North American Title in the air. Stormm is angered by Kyle’s presence and for what happened. The World Title is neatly folded next to him, but Stormm isn’t done there. He has produced a hundred dollar bill. Channeling his inner Ted DiBiase, the bill is shoved inside of Kyle’s mouth.
“My money is on the Force of Nature!”
Stormm departs from the ring with his title, but a smug satisfaction knowing he one-upped the “God of Game.”
He finds himself face-to-face with Dominator. Stormm shrugs and takes a shot at him, but Dominator drops him with a big right hand. He then pulls Stormm up and throws him into the ringside barrier.
Jerry Andrews: What is Dominator doing!?
Ace Anderson: It looks like he's getting in the ring!
Jerry Andrews: Someone stop him!
Ace Anderson: Be my guest. I'm staying right here.
Dominator immediately attacks Stacy Jones, setting her up and dropping her hard with an Anachronism!!! He's about the leave the ring when Seromine, having recovered enough to feel like his righteous self again, gets in Dominator's face. Before he can say anything about repenting or respecting the Lord, Dominator grabs him and sends him over the top ropes, crashing on the outside.
Jerry Andrews: Dominator destroying everyone in sight now!
Ace Anderson: These four just had a grueling match and the Underground King is picking them off one by one now!
Dominator turns around and he finds himself face-to-face with Grimm. The crowd "oooooooooohs."
Jerry Andrews: Oh baby... here we go.
Suddenly, PCW officials rush into the ring and they get in between the two men. The crowd boos.
Ace Anderson: Oh so now they show up. What about all the other chaos that happened in the last few minutes? Where were they then!?
Other officials check on the various out of commission competitors as Horacio Mortimer leads Dominator away from the ring.
Jerry Andrews: My god. Look at the devastation out here. What the hell else can happen tonight?
Ace Anderson (sarcastically): The Last Chance Battle Royal. Duh.
Jerry Andrews: Well thank you, Captain Obvious!
As the show returns from commercial, the competitors for the Last Chance Battle Royal are standing in the ring.
Jerry Andrews: Ladies and gentlemen, we’re back and it’s time to find out who will earn themselves the final spot in the Icemann Invitational Tournament.
Ace Anderson: The Last Chance Battle Royal is a PCW tradition that… wait just a second, who the hell is that!?
The camera pans around the ring, showing many of the expected entrants in the match: High Tide, Gerard Angelo, Tyler Scott, Razor Blade, and…. an absolutely massive man who hasn’t been seen in Pure Class Wrestling before.
Jerry Andrews: Come on Ace, you don’t recognize Darren "Monster" Silvaira? He was, at one point, the manager of Tha Joka during his time in PCW.
Ace Anderson: Oh yeah… ummm… of course I recognize him… I just meant like, in this context, you know, as a wrestler, it was…. It was strange to see him….
Jerry Andrews: Of course.
Suddenly, "In The Morning and Amazing" by Circa Survive begins to play.
Jerry Andrews: Wait just a second, what is the World Champ doing coming back out here!?
Ace Anderson: Hasn’t he done enough already tonight?
The slightly battered and bruised Kyle Shane makes his way to the ring in his wrestling gear and is about to step up on the apron when he’s stopped by the referee.
Jerry Andrews: Is Shane trying to get in the ring?
Kyle argues with the official who can be seen shaking his head no and pointing to the back.
Ace Anderson: What is going on here!? He's not really going to try this, is he?
“But I want in the match!” Kyle is heard yelling. Again, the referee shakes his head no and points to the back. Frustrated, Kyle Shane turns and walks away, but he doesn’t go backstage. He walks over and picks up a microphone.
Kyle Shane: No, you listen to me, ref! You listen! It says right on the card for tonight’s show that the Last Chance Battle Royal is “open to anyone who has not already qualified for the second round” of the Icemann Invitational Tournament. I haven’t qualified for the second round, so I want in the match!
More PCW officials start walking down to the ring.
Ace Anderson: What is he talking about!?
Jerry Andrews: Well, I mean, technically….
Ace Anderson: And what would he do if he won the tournament!? Challenge himself!?
Jerry Andrews: He could challenge another champion… that’s what he did last year!
Ace Anderson: The World Champion is not allowed in the tournament!
Kyle Shane continues to argue with officials on the outside.
Kyle Shane: Stormm’s in the tournament! Dominator’s in the tournament! Why can the North American and Underground Champions compete and I can’t!?
Officials and referees keep shaking their heads and pointing to the back. One of them is head saying “Look, I don’t make the rules, but they’re telling me you can’t be in the match!”
After several moments of additional arguing, Kyle Shane finally drops the mic and storms off towards the backstage area, clearly very upset.
Jerry Andrews: Those officials could have just cost Kyle Shane a chance to repeat as Icemann Invitational Tournament winner!
Ace Anderson: Hey, not just anyone can win this tournament twice! It takes someone incredibly special to achieve that feat!
Jerry Andrews: Get over yourself.
The bell finally rings.
The Last Chance Battle Royal
The last chance to earn the final spot in the Icemann Invitational Tournament!
Open to anyone who has not already qualified for the second round
High Tide vs Gerard Angelo vs Tyler Scott vs Razor Blade vs Darren "Monster" Silvaira
Jerry Andrews: Okay, here we go!
The match begins. Both Tide and Scott immediate jump Angelo, trying to double team him before he can get set.
Ace Anderson: Smart strategy here by Tide and Scott. The quicker you can get someone out of the match, the better!
Meanwhile, Razor charges at Silvaira with a clothesline. The Monster doesn’t budge. Razor tries again, but nothing.
Jerry Andrews: I’ve never seen anyone shrug off Razor Blade like that!
Now they lock up with Razor getting the advantage by locking on a side headlock with Silvaira pushing him off into the ropes then hitting with a shoulder charge that sends Razor to the canvas to a roar from the crowd.
Jerry Andrews: Wow!
Razor quickly gets up and starts hitting Silvaira with numerous punches.
Ace Anderson: That made Razor angry.
Razor Irish whips Silvaira into the ropes and hits him with a dropkick that sends the Monster staggering. Razor taunts with the crowd giving him a mixed reaction. Razor charges at him with another clothesline. Silvaira is still staggered but not down.
Jerry Andrews: Razor can’t get him off his feet!
Ace Anderson: This guy is unreal!
Razor now attempts to pick him up but Silvaira drives his elbow into Razor Blade’s spine. He then strikes him with a big right hand dropping him to the mat. Razor gets up again and again charges at the Monster, but Silvaira scoops him up.
Jerry Andrews: Look how he scooped up Razor Blade almost effortlessly!
Ace Anderson: And Razor is far from a small man!
The Monster now hoists Razor up higher and he throws him over the ropes to the outside.
“RAZOR BLADE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED”
Jerry Andrews: Wow!
Meanwhile, Tide and Scott are battling with Angelo. They back him up into the corner and start taking turns stomping away on him. Suddenly Tyler Scott grabs Tide from behind and he tries to throw him over the ropes! Tide blocks the attempt and now High Tide and Tyler Scott are at it!
Jerry Andrews: Tyler Scott tried to pull a fast one on High Tide but it didn’t quite work!
Ace Anderson: Hey, it would have been a smart move if it worked!
Jerry Andrews: But it didn’t.
Scott shoves Tide down to the mat. High Tide quickly gets up and clotheslines Scott straight back to the canvas. Tide takes a step back as he waits for Scott to get up from the canvas. Tyler Scott slowly gets up and is met with a right hand followed by belly to belly suplex.
Jerry Andrews: Big moves by High Tide!
Tide continues pummeling Scott with vicious lefts and rights to the head. Tide picks up Scott and Trish whips him into the ropes, High Tide leap frogs him and as Scott comes back he hits Tide with a devastating clothesline. Tyler Scott quickly picks up Tide and hits him with a short armed clothesline that sends Tide to the canvas. Scott begins to stomp away.
Ace Anderson: Look out!
Suddenly Scott is attacked from behind by Gerard Angelo! Angelo throws Scott into the corner, but Scott bursts out with a clothesline! Angelo hits the mat hard. Scott turns his attention back to High Tide while Darren Silvaira slowly pulls the battered Gerard Angelo off of the canvas.
Jerry Andrews: Tide and Scott certainly did a number of Gerard Angelo and now the Monster is picking the bones clean!
Ace Anderson: That’s terrifying. Stop being so terrifying.
Meanwhile, Scott continues on the attack by hitting Tide with a suplex followed up by another short armed clothesline. Scott pulls Tide up, but High Tide leaps up and hits him with a dropkick!
Ace Anderson: Boom!
Tide helps up Scott only to hit him a DDT. He then pulls Scott up once again. Tyler Scott then battles back as High Tide tries to drag him to the ropes.
Meanwhile, Silvaira has Angelo backed into the corner and he’s unloading on him with rights and lefts. Angelo tries to fight out of the corner, but Silvaira is just too big. The Monster pulls Gerard out of the corner, but Angelo fires back at him with a European uppercut! Silvaira is staggered. Angelo runs at him with a clothesline, but Silvaira slugs him down with a right hand.
Jerry Andrews: The Monster still hasn’t been knocked off his feet in this match!
Silvaira gives Angelo a couple of hard jabs and swings for an uppercut, but Gerard ducks it and connects with a roundhouse kick to the big man's knee. Silvaira stands straight up, grabs Gerard by the throat and tosses him into the corner. There he applies a couple of hard shoulder blocks.
While this is happening, Tyler Scott has High Tide in the other corner. He unloads on him with knee strikes. Scott pulls Tide out, but Tide responds with a big jumping heel kick. He sets Scott up, but Scott backs him into the corner again. High Tide hits the buckles hard.
Ace Anderson: High Tide might have hurt his back there.
Jerry Andrews: If he did, you might as well paint a target on it!
Angelo gets whipped across the ring by the Monster, jumping over Scott in the process. Tyler moves out of the way as Silvaira charges to meet Gerard on the other side, but Gerard gets out of the way and Silvaira slams into the turnbuckle. Angelo gets another pair of roundhouse kicks to that same knee and this time the big man goes down to a knee.
Jerry Andrews: He’s down to a knee!
Angelo grabs him, trying to take advantage, but The Monster just shoves him away.
Meanwhile, High Tide finally able to pull himself using the ropes. But Tyler Scott is right there to knock him back into the corner. He mounts High Tide to score with punches, but Tide fends it off and shoves Tyler over the top rope. Scott lands on the apron.
Ace Anderson: Tyler Scott could be out here!
High Tide swings at him, but Scott ducks. He then bends through the ropes, driving his shoulder into Tide’s midsection before returning to the ring.
Jerry Andrews: Tyler Scott just saved himself there!
Meanwhile, Angelo runs at Silvaira once again. The Monster gets low underneath him, lifts him up and sends Angelo flying over the ropes to the outside!
GERARD ANGELO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!
Jerry Andrews: Oh man… I’m not sure anyone can stop this Monster!
High Tide and Tyler Scott quickly think the same thing. The two put their battle aside for a moment and both competitors charge at Silvaira.
Meanwhile, on the outside….
Jerry Andrews: WAIT! BRADDOCK IS HERE! BRADDOCK JUST ATTACKED GERARD ANGELO!!!
Braddock grabs Angelo and he throws him head first into the ringside barrier! He then unloads on him with stomps before security rushes out to break up the assault.
Ace Anderson: For whatever reason, and we’re still not entirely sure, Braddock and Gerard Angelo really do not like one another.
Jerry Andrews: That’s putting it lightly!
Inside the ring, High Tide and Tyler Scott have managed to force Silvaira back into the corner.
Ace Anderson: It looks like they’ve finally managed to subdue to the Monster.
Jerry Andrews: Sure, but for how long!?
Suddenly, Tyler Scott grabs High Tide and he throws him over the ropes to the outside!
HIGH TIDE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!
Jerry Andrews: WHAT!?
Ace Anderson: Well, it didn’t work the first time, but it worked that time!
Jerry Andrews: Sure, but now Tyler Scott has to face the Monster on his own!
Tyler Scott immediately turns his attention back to Silvaira. He hits him with a series of knife edge chops in the corner, followed by several knee strikes. He managed to get Silvaira doubled over and then he grabs him by the head….
Ace Anderson: DDT!
Jerry Andrews: He did it! The Monster has finally been taken off his feet!
Ace Anderson: And now it’s a whole new ball game! Everyone is the same size when they’re on the mat. Now we have to see how the Monster responds to being on the defensive!
Tyler Scott starts to stomp away on Silvaira. The Monster rolls to the corner, and starts to pull himself up, Scott kicks him in the leg, taking him down to one knee. He then props him up in the corner and starts unloading on him with strong knee strikes. Scott now Irish whips Silvaira across the ring. Silvaira hits the turnbuckle HARD! Tyler Scott walks over towards the opposite corner now. Silvaira stumbles out of the corner, seemingly in a daze. Tyler Scott approaches Silvaira when suddenly....
Jerry Andrews: BOOM! My God! What a vicious right hand by Darren Silvaira!
Ace Anderson: That just came out of NO WHERE!
Jerry Andrews: Exactly! And Tyler Scott hit the floor like a tonne of bricks!
Ace Anderson: That's the danger when you're facing someone as powerful as the Monster. He can turn a match around in one second!
Silvaira pulls Scott up, but Tyler Scott hits him with a chinbreaker. Scott then connects with a flying clothesline.
Both men are down now.
Ace Anderson: Tyler Scott has been chipping away at the Monster, but it's taking a lot out of him.
Jerry Andrews: He's definitely been taking a lot of abuse.
Tyler Scott slowly gets to his feet first. He starts to stomp away on Silvaira now.
Ace Anderson: And just like that, the table have turned back!
Tyler Scott now pulls Silvaira up. He hits Silvaira with a European uppercut! Scott now clotheslines Silvaira down to the mat. Scott now drops an elbow on Silvaira. Scott now stands up and he grabs Silvaira's right leg. He begins to stomp on the back of the leg. Scott now drops an elbow directly onto Silvaira's knee! Scott stands up and drops another elbow to the knee! Scott now places the Monster's leg on the mat. He holds it down with both hands and drives a knee into Silvaira's knee!
Jerry Andrews: Tyler Scott working on Silvaira's leg now!
Ace Anderson: Smart thinking Tyler! Nice work!
Tyler Scott stands up again, still holding onto the Monster’s leg. Silvaira kicks him with the other leg, sending him reeling into the corner. The Monster slowly gets up. Tyler Scott charges at him. Silvaira grabs him and throws him…..
