OOC: Yes, this is still the same bare bones, no frills, quickly put together follow up to how the tag match concluded that I had before. But with a few edits and my original plan put back in.
One of them being who Lucy is. If you've read my last RP or the Iceys speech, you already know. In the spirit of honesty, a sibling was never meant to be created. It happened out of sheer anxiety. What I'm hoping to do now, I've been planning for a few weeks. It'll be a WIP.
So...yeah. This is how the original reveal was meant to go.
----
Following the conclusion of the tag team match, PCW's #1 nosey interviewer, Shane Dodge, runs on the backstage scene like a man racing into a house fire.
Ok, maybe not quite LIKE that, but you get the idea.
Seromine and the mystery woman who helped play a huge part in the outcome, are caught just before they can get further away.
SHANE: Seromine! Seromine! If you don't mind giving me a minute of your time, there are some questions I'd like to ask.
Seromine glances and then places his right arm around him like they were longtime friends having a reunion photo.
SHANE: You and Holden Ross were victorious tonight over the team of Grimm and Tyler Scott---
Seromine's smile widens to the extent of the mystery woman's. He cuts the interviewer off.
SEROMINE: I'm now ONE and zero against Phinehas, Shane. The tape doesn't lie. The result is in the book. But please continue.
Shane naturally looks skeptical.
SHANE: Be that as it may---you looked like you were about to tap before this lady here stepped in and---
Seromine pushes Shane aside as the woman inches close to him. Her posture becomes rigid. Shane quickly tries to gain his composure as he extends the microphone for one of the parties to respond. Seromine calms her down and then replies.
SEROMINE: You can try to tarnish the outcome. But you can't change it and neither can Grimm. Everything went according to plan, Shane. Holden took care of the weak link and I put down The Hangtown Horror. I'll concede that he had me in a predicament, but in no way was I ever going to tap out...
Shane brushes the explanation aside.
SHANE: I see. In that case who is she and why was a rigged weapon needed?
Seromine widens his eyes and like a playful child mouths the words "uh oh!" Shane looks back and forth between them. The woman holds the prop bible out. Shane tries to end things but Seromine doesn't allow it.
SEROMINE: I want you to meet my mom, Lucy. First impressions are important, Shane, and as you can see, you've upset her. Which means trouble. If I were you... well...it's too late for apologies now. But let's PRAY together! God will hear you in your time of need!
Seromine and Lucy launch into one on the spot. While this goes on, she opens the prop book up. Shane passes out on the spot, expecting to be hit with fire, only to receive...nothing. Seromine places him on the ground and then stands back up.
SEROMINE: Sin weakens the soul and poisons the mind.
LUCY: Yes---The poor dear---he just wasn't strong enough. Come now, darling. God needs us elsewhere.
Seromine throws the microphone down the corridor before they walk away from the area.
