Pretty seg heavy show this time. That's not a bad thing. That's a GOOD thing.
*cheesy DDP smile*
David Hunter continues to shine in his segs. I really dig the flow of them. There were good points made pre-chaos, and then you have the ongoing woo-ing of Kassandra for some light-hearted comedy. Him trying to emulate Sicko was different, and certainly made a reasonable impact as the night progressed. Well done, sir.
Thanks to Stormm deciding to make an appearance, I can now halt printing his face on milk cartons! strong segment from Justin this cycle, with a nice throwback feel to his roots, while also incorporating his recent LoS elements. He answered the question some may have, added star power to TIIT, and progressed his direction post-NA title. Solid.
Holden Ross doing human wrecking ball things to Tyler, Cory, and Alexa was excellent. It re-established him as this violent brute who (in his own words) "wants to hurt people." Not only that, his partnership with Hunter presents plenty of potential. It was nice to see. Holden is underrated. I think the UG is perfect for him, but he's not limited to just that playground. Gonna miss Simon's work, but am glad he'll remain on the boards. Thank you for all that you contributed.
I LOVED Hughes v Gator to death. I got plenty of laughs out of it. Idk if the emoticon...er, I mean emoji, was accidential or not, but it's worth pointing out. I hope the gator remains part of the act, because those kinds of interactions and impromptu brawls are nice palette cleansers from some of the more serious material. Welcome back, man! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next and hope you enjoy your stay in the snake pit that is PCW.
KS brought a strong segment to the dance. The sarcastic reaction was amusing. I know it's one of his character traits, but it worked super well with poor Shane Dodge being oblivious to it all.
Kyle Shane: It is weird we haven't met before, right? Shane Dodge, Kyle Shane, there's tons of identity mixup shenanigans we could have had before now.
My favorite part was that. Wouldn't surprise me to see that get followed up on in the future. The promo itself was the fiery energy we're used to, touching on Gerard, Stormm, TIIT, and his previous segment. Like I mentioned with Stormm, the entry of KS brings star power, to a field that is stacked. Going to be fun to see play out.
