Okiedoke, so a few thoughts:
- Grimm acknowledging Brenna's return as he did? Brilliant. I'm looking forward to diving back into the nuts and bolts and sacrificial lambs of the connection between these two who are the same, yet polar opposites all at once. Got big things planned, oh yes.
- I'm relieved to have won my match--it really could've gone either way. I appreciate how strong they made Gerard look, and the near-pinfall being followed by one that was narrowly not escaped was an awesome touch. I'm adding Gerard to the list of people I need to further entangle Brenna with because really, your writing is amazing.
- Rick's segment was quick, to the point, and well done, I thought. And there's another name I need to add to the 'further work with' list because there's a dynamic that needs explored here, sooner rather than later hopefully.
- Speaking of dynamics... poor Noah, A.K.A. the Red Shirt who was sacrificed to the altar of further developing how fucked up Jason Willard is. While Seromine couldn't last forever, I didn't think the creepy factor could be hiked up any more than it already was--but yet that's what happened here. Stormm's interference at the end was well done, especially with the whole lights going off and on and off and on thing. Kind of a nod to the early cult things Seromine pulled, isn't it? -Chinhands.-
- Ugh, Holden Ross is such a smarmy prick. I wanna punch him in the head, which means he's being written correctly since he inspires that kind of reaction. The line about Elijah Dixon was a nice touch, a little OOC spice that makes sense on an IC level as well.
- Hunter vs. Razor... well, it ended as I expected it would. I was pumped to see that Razor made it to championship gold, but the... apparent backslide was a bit of a letdown. I also admittedly don't get why Hunter is almost acting face-ish in regards to him? I must be missing something. Back to the archives after this review is done.
- The Main Event was brutal, which is to be expected considering the title involved. Holden was put over as a vicious prick, and Rick Majors was written to be the tough as nails veteran that he is when it comes to being in the ring. My match with Gerard was close, I thought... this one was maybe a hair's distance between the winner and the loser.
So... yeah. There's my thoughts. Good work all around, and thanks to the matchwriters/segment writers/staff that made it possible.

Because the man is the hottest thing on the roster and David openly accepts this. He's also really the only person Razor has never disliked. It started out purely as referencing the fact that Roman is an attractive person, so thus, Razor would be. It just kinda went from there that David just kept on referencing it without really mentioning much about Razor's in-ring record. He's his bae and if anything happened to him he would kill whoever did it and then himself.

That’s a heck of a return match victory for Brenna Gordon! Despite his recent stumbles (which we now know have come to a screeching halt thanks to a Deadly Rumble victory), Gerard Angelo is never to be taken lightly.
And that’s quite a shocking win for…**checks notes**…Noah Ventura?! Stormm’s interfernce was a bit of a surprise, but, hey, don’t put anything past the Force of Nature.
The other matches were good buildups for the PPV…which I shall read fully tomorrow.
