Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: The camera pans around the Pure Class Arena as "Chop Suey" by System of a Down blares through the P.A. System. As we see the many fan signs sprinkled throughout the crowd, the camera pans to ringside, and there's a fan who is holding an arrowed, "I am Sam Landry" sign. After the panning, the show begins.
Match One: Icemann Invitational Qualifying Match
Angel vs. Chrissy Johnson
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: This match continued [or ended, depending on how you're looking at it] the feud between Angel and Chrissy Johnson. Chrissy had made it clear that she's no longer wanting to waste her time fighting this...'it'...and has her eye on the bigger prize by winning The Icemann Invitational Tournament. And that's exactly what she did. In what turned out to be in surprising fashion, a determined Chrissy dominated the entire match. Angel was able to get little to no offense in, and, at the 6 minute and 58 second mark, Chrissy finished Angel off with a Chrissy-Currana followed by a pin.
Winner
Backstage with The Hunters...
Details: After the match, the PCW-Tron kicks on and we are brought into the dressing room of Sean and Angelica Hunter. Sean is fixing his knee pads, as he is getting ready for his match, which is next. Sean has a large Band-Aid over his right eyebrow, probably where he was busted open from last week. He and Angelica are talking about Pegasus and The Prophet.
"Pegasus and The Prophet are going to get their asses kicked once we get ahold of them. Babe, did you see what they did to me last week?"[/b]
"Yeah, I know Sean. When the opportunity arises, I'm sure we'll get even with The Prophet and Pegasus. And in the process, I'm sure you'll win that World Championship too."[/b]
"Oh yeah. We'll get ours. But this isn't even about titles anymore. Sure, I'd love to be World Champion, and I plan on winning that belt once Walker books the damn match. But Pegasus...his ass is mine. I know you want to settle things with The Prophet on your own, and I'm understanding, so I'll let you handle it. But if he...if Pegasus...if anyone steps out of line, you know I'm there."
"Aww...Sean."
Angelica rushes towards Sean and they share a long, passionate kiss. Just then, their dressing room door is flung open and Whisper comes in.
"Oops. Didn't mean to interrupt, heh."[/b]
Sean glances at Whisper, and just rolls his eyes as he and Angelica break off their kiss.
"Doesn't anyone knock anymore? Anyway babe, I got to get going. Let me make quick work of this weirdo Overdose. After I get done with this guy, I move on in the tournament. Then I hope Ace wins his match against Rhodes, because, then I get to beat his ass. So yeah, I'll see you in a bit, babe."[/b]
Sean and Angelica share another, quicker, kiss and Sean leaves the dressing room. Angelica looks up at Whisper and they strike up a conversation.
"So, what's up Whisp? How's things going with Tom?"
"LoKi is a really nice guy, Angie. I'll have to tell you the rest letter, heh. It gets intense. But I think he and I are going to work out quite well."[/b]
"Really now? Heh. I'm glad. Just be careful with him. I know he has a vicious streak. I know he ruined many a dates for me in the past."
"But you know me...I like it rough, haha. But no, you should know I'm more than capable of taking care of myself. I am the Diva of Destruction and all. But back to Tom, he's actually a really good guy. Maybe we can all hang out, go out and get some dinner or something. Let you guys get to know him a bit more."
"Not a bad idea. I'll talk to Sean about it. He's a bit weary on meeting people, heh. He doesn't like to fraternize with the competition too much. But if you think LoKi's a good guy, I'm sure we will too."[/b]
And with that, the scene fades.
Match Two: Icemann Invitational Qualifying Match
Sean Hunter vs. Overdose
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: This match pitted two people trying to move up the proverbial ladder by advancing into the Quarter Finals of The Icemann Invitational Tournament. Sean Hunter is definitely a favorite going into the tournament, but his opponent this week was no slouch. Overdose, who is looking for his first win since Trauma [15] definitely had something to prove. But that never came to fruition. Sean came prepared and determined and when the bell was sounded for the match to begin, Sean quickly went onto the offensive. Sean beat on Overdose for roughly four minutes until, after Hunter nailed a Shattered Dreams, Overdose began convulsing on the mat. Referee Tim Jones told Sean to back off, and he began checking on Overdose. He ended up stopping the match, as Overdose began shaking-Overdose was going into a seizure! Officials rushed to the ring and tried to get the traumatic experience down. They gave him his meds and had to escort him. Tim Jones had no other option but to award Sean Hunter the match as a result of referee stoppage; a TKO.
Winner
Match Three: Triple Threat Match {Winner gets added into The Icemann Invitational Tourament}
Hellhound vs. Non Compos Mentis vs. Omega
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: Three men, all who entered the PCW to late to be added into The Icemann Invitational in the first place, have a chance to be added into it with a win here tonight. This match is a result from a match that took place last week, one in which Jake Sydal, who was already suffering injuries from Deception, was further injured and brutalized in a match with Mizter Hardcore, resulting in Sydal being pulled from the tournament. But rather than wasting Sydal's second-chance spot in the tourney, Alejandro Walker booked a three way between three of PCW's newest stars- Omega, who got a win last week in his debut match, and GCG's Hellhound and Non Compos Mentis. The match started after the three individuals were announced. However, instead of a Triple Threat, we were treated to a two-on-one mugging. Hellhound and Omega immediately looked at one another once the bell was sounded and jumped on Non Compos Mentis. NCM tried to fight back, and even held his own for a few moments, jabbing Hellhound and Omega with rights and lefts, but the duo was just too much. A match that had all the implications of stealing the show, turned out to be the formation of a team between Hellhound and Omega. Atleast, that is the way it looked like. As hard as NCM fought his attackers, the two just wouldn't let up. And after a lengthy beating, which resulted in NCM being busted open, Hellhound and Omega just left the ring. The referee, not knowing what else to do, had to call the end of the match. But the fans were surprised when the official ruled that, as a result of a forfeit, since Hellhound and Omega left the match, Non Compos Mentis was declared the winner. He's next match in the tournament will be between himself, Chrissy Johnson, and Overdose.
Winner
"The Freak"...The Face...the...Zellmo?
Details: Following the result of the previous match, the PCW-Tron kicked on and we were brought to "The Captain's" Hawaiian-themed office. Inside with "The Captain" is a man the GCG fans would know. It's the, 'super face'..."The Freak"...Zellmo. Walker seems to have an undetermined look on his face, but then shakes his head as he looks at the TV and then clicks it off. He turns to talk to Zellmo, and when he does this is what he says:
"Alright boy. This is how it is. We were talkin', right? And well, I know yous wanted to be in some kind of match like that, but I gots other plans for you. As you know, since, the doctors declared Overdose not fit to wrestle for awhile, we were gonna run you in a match with the two losers of the last match. But, seeing as how they just messed up NCM, I don't think that's gonna happen. So, Zellmo, as much as you didn't wanna just be placed into The Icemann Invitational, you gonna be anyway. You'll take Overdose's spot, and it's be you vs. Chrissy Johnson vs. Non Compos Mentis. Winner moves on to the Quarter Finals. And that's that."
And, that was it indeed, as the PCW-Tron faded out.
Match Four: Singles Match
The Rocket vs. Angelica Night-Hunter {International Champion}
Referee: Tyrone Little
Guest Commentator: The Prophet[/size]
Match Details:[/b] As one was expecting, Angelica, the International Champion, was the odds on favorite to defeat Slither's former friend The Rocket in this match. But with The Prophet at ringside, calling commentary, we didn't know if he was going to be involved at all, which would certainly deter Angelica's chances on a clean win. After the participants were announced, The Prophet made his way to the ring, dressed in his robe and wearing a face mask of sorts. He took his position with the announce team, and then the match was underway. The Rocket took early control of the match, but never really gained control of it following. Only time he was able to get offense in, is when Angelica would focus on The Prophet at ringside, who made little comments on Angelica, but not many, and The Rocket would catch Angie off guard. But for the most part, that's how the match went, with Angelica's only problem being her lack of focus on her opponent. At around the 9 minute mark, Angelica hit the the Nightfall and secured herself the win.
Winner
Hunting for Prophet
Details: After the match, Angelica, who still seen The Prophet sitting at ringside, rushed out the ring, and confronted him. The Prophet tried to pay no attention, and walked from around the commentators' table. As he was walking away from the table, and then Angelica, Angie grabbed The Prophet and swung at him, connecting squarely in the jaw. The fans cheered, as Angelica swung, and hit, again. Prophet, deciding not to fight back, started...RUNNING! The Prophet started running from Angelica, and Angelica was on pursuit! She chased him around the ring, and followed him in the ring when he rolled into it. He then rolled out, and run UNDER[/u] the ring, and she still chased, following him underneath the ring. Moments later, we seen The Prophet emerge from underneath the ring, with Angelica still on pursuit.
Match Five: Icemann Invitational Tournament Qualifying Match
Ace Anderson vs. "The Colossus" Rhodes McClure
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: These two have been at it quite a bit the last few weeks, so everyone expected a barn burner. Rhodes upset Ace a week before the Deception Pay-Per-View, but Ace struck some sort of revenge as he and Sean Hunter retained their Tag Titles, before losing the belts one week later to Pegasus and The Prophet, against Rhodes and his one-time partner Overdose. The match started off pretty even as Ace and Rhodes exchanged a flurry of offenses. The match went pretty much back and forth for the next six minutes, until Rhodes, who hit Ace with a Down Town Slam. Rhodes controlled the match for about the next two minutes, but then, out of nowhere he nailed a Inverted Piledriver. He then capitalized by whipping Rhodes into the corner and connected with the River of Dreams. He then grabbed Rhodes again and whipped him into the other corner, where he went onto end the match at the 13 minute and 26 second mark after he nailed Rhodes with the Aces Wild. In a very competitive match, Ace wins this one and advances to the Quarter Finals of The Icemann Invitational Tournament. His next opponent is none other than Sean Hunter- his former Tag Team partner!
Winner
Match Six: Non-Title Triple Threat Match
LoKi {CWF World Champion; PCW North American Champion} vs. "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght vs. Mizter Hardcore
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: This match went surprisingly quick. Quicker than alot would have liked. Within 6 minutes, LoKi picked up the win. Showtime and Hardcore went right at eachother, but LoKi, unlike his Deception opponent Jake Sydal when he had a Triple Threat Match, jumped right into the action. But no matter how much LoKi tried to get into it, Hardcore's and Showtime's paid him little attention. A move which caused them both a lost. Because LoKi ran in there, and out of nowhere, landed the Ragnarok on both Showtime and Hardcore at the same time! But he wasn't finished there. He went and lifted Hardcore up to his feet and then nailed him with the Apocalypse Now before pinning him.
Winner
Match Seven: World Championship Steel Cage Match
Pegasus {World Champion} vs. Slither
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: On paper, the match was an easy one. The winner of the match will be the man who either left the caged area, walked out the door, or gotten a pin or submission victory over his opponent. When both Slither and Pegasus made it to the already caged ring, the match began. Slither and Pegasus went at it, back and forth, both utilizing the cage in the process. And that went on, with neither controlling the match much, for the next 9 minutes. But, at around the 10 minute mark, Slither showed real signs of match control, when, after Slither was whipped into the turnbuckle and Pegasus came flying towards him, Slither dodged, Pegasus ran shoulder first into the ring post, and then Slither got behind him, mounted the ropes, and nailed a top rope DDT. Slither then controlled the next portion of the match, which consisted close to again, ten more minutes. A high spot in the match came when Slither and Pegasus both mounted the cage and was trying to begin their exit. Slither was right underneath Pegasus, and managed to climb right through Peggy's legs. In their position, Slither jumped off, and he and Peggy fall to the canvas, falling to an Electric Chair Drop by Slither. And that's where Slither rolled over, and attempted the pin. Referee Richard Stevens got into position, and began the three count, and the fans were ecstatic. We were just three pounds away from Slither winning the World Championship once again! 1...2...3...NO! Something extraordinary happened at that moment. As the referee was about to make the third count, a hand shot from underneath the ring, and halted the ref's count. The hole in which the hand protruded from soon began to become larger, and The Prophet's upper-body emerged from underneath the ring. With his free hand, he grabbed Slither, and dragged him underneath the ring. The fans, nor did the referee, knew what was going on. About thirty seconds of being underneath the ring, Slither's body was seen tossed back inside the ring by The Prophet. The bell was then sounded, but no one knew who the winner was. But back to Slither. Slither was not brought back into the ring as he was taken out. His head was now bloody. Pegasus, who was now beginning to stir, helped The Prophet grab Slither and whip him into the cage. The fans booed, as they watched in horror The Prophet, who pulled out two sets of handcuffs, and Pegasus handcuffed Slither to the cage.
Winner
Mr. Hunter for the Save...
Details: With Slither now handcuffed, bloody, and unable to defend himself, The Prophet and Pegasus taunted, as they attacked Slither nonchalantly. As this beating was going on, rushing down the aisle with bolt-cutters in hand and with a chorus of cheers, is Sean Hunter. Sean runs to the cage, and clips the padlock that was on the door. He slides into the ring, but when he swings the HUGE bolt-cutters at Pegasus, Pegasus ducks and then The Prophet nails Hunter with a low-blow. This made Hunter drop the bolt-cutters, in which Pegasus picked them up, at Prophet's urging, and nailed Hunter right across the forehead, knocking the bandage off, and opening him up once again.
Mrs. Hunter for the Save...
Details: This sent Angelica Night-Hunter from the back aswell. This time, after she stormed to the ring, she hop right up the cage, and began climbing it. Once at the very top, she came down with a HUGE cross-body block, connecting with both The Prophet and Pegasus. When she gets up, she checks on Sean first, before grabbing the bolt-cutters and heading towards Slither. While she was there, she might aswell release Slither from his predicament, right? Anyway, before she made it to Slither, two MORE people ran into the ring; this time being Hellhound and Omega!
Omega and Hellhound for the Save...
Details: The team ran down the aisle, and entered the ring via walking through the door. They wasted no time going after Angelica, and knocked Sean back down,as he was getting to his feet aswell. Pegasus and The Prophet, back on their feet, went and helped Hellhound and Omega pummel on Sean, Angelica, and Slither.
Non Compos Mentis for the Save...
Details: No sooner than a few moments, Non Compos Mentis, who was basically decimated earlier in the evening came running to the ring with a chair in his hand. He got into the ring and started nailing people with it, his main targets being Hellhound and Omega though. As he focuses his attention on them...
The Rocket for the Save...
Details: ...He didn't notice The Rocket coming down the aisle just a few feet behind him. And Rocket too was bringing something with him to the ring...Slither's kendo stick...Tyson! He followed Non Compos Mentis in the ring and nailed him right in the back of the head with Tyson. Then he looked at Slither, and blasted Slither multiple times with Tyson.
The Congregation of The Damn
Details: While this is going on, Hellhound, Omega, The Prophet, and Pegasus got to their feet and raised their arms in the air, gloating at the carnage in the ring. But suddenly, Hellhound turned and clotheslined his apparent partner Omega. Hellhound, The Prophet, and Pegasus then jumped Omega, leaving him in the center of the ring. As The Rocket, who the other now standing three didn't seem to care about, beat on Slither, The Prophet, Pegasus, and Hellhound exited the ring in unified fashion.
