Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: The camera pans around the Pure Class Arena as "Chop Suey" by System of a Down blares through the P.A. System. As usual, we see the many fan signs sprinkled throughout the ruckus crowd. Mark Long is in the ring and introduces the first match, as the card continues.
Match One: Non-Title Triple Threat Match
Mark Lightning {Tag Team Champion} vs. Chrissy Johnson vs. Arion Catcher
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: Mark Lightning, fresh from the doctor's office, had a chance to redeem himself of his actions last week by defeating Chrissy Johnson, who has been able to defeat one half of the Tag Team Champions in the majority of their matches, and PCW newcomer Arion Catcher. However, in this particular Triple Threat Match, we were treated to a Singles Match. The reason being that, after agreeing to appear on the show, Arion no-showed, and subsequently was suspended without pay indefinitely. The match turned into a rematch of last week, with a seemingly much healthier Mark Lightning definitely getting his revenge, for he was able to defeat Chrissy Johnson here tonight at around the 5 minute mark after nailing her with The Lightning Strike.
Winner
Tag Titles to be defended at Deadly Intentions!
Details: Following the match, with Mark Lightning enjoying his victory in the ring and Chrissy just getting onto her feet, the PCW-Tron clicked on and on it showed the PCW President Alejandro Walker in his office. Like most times when you see "The Captain", he has a big grin on his face, with rubber-bands throughout his long, white beard. "The Captain" then announces that Mark Lightning will be competing at the Pay-Per-View and he will be defending the Tag Championships. His opponents? Chrissy Johnson and Maddog. However, after talking with "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght's agent, Mikey will not compete in the match because he had another match later in the evening and didn't want to risk it. So instead, taking the place of Mikey in the match will be a newcomer looking to make his debut in the PCW. His name is The Byrd. So it'll be Mark Lightning and The Byrd defending the Tag Titles against Chrissy Johnson and Maddog at Deadly Intentions.
Match Two: Non-Title Singles Match
Pegasus vs. "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: From the get-go, Mikey Wryght is seen to be VERY agressive against former World Champion Pegasus. Two big losses in the past three weeks, not to mention a hefty 17,000 dollar fine for attacking the official in last week's match. The match went back and forth for nearly ten minutes...but mostly back for Pegasus as Mikey Wryght's fury was absolutely oppressive, Wryght landing some very devasting moves, including a Shuffle Back Kick that sent Pegasus flying through the ropes and onto the outside. But the fans were, like last week, were beginning to rally behind Pegasus once more as in his former days...and Pegasus responded in kind, returning to the ring and beginning his own offensive onslaught that left Wryght prone on his back and struggling to regain his composure. Pegasus getting an itch, he ascended the turnbuckle and leapt into the air for a picture-perfect moonsault. However, Mikey Wryght's aggression would not be denied as he rolled backwards, Pegasus crashing to the canvas with massive impact. Mikey Wryght scrambling to his feet, he grabbed Pegasus by the legs while his body was arched up and added to the pain by locking in The Spotlight, leaving Pegasus no choice but to tap out at the 16 minute mark.
Winner
Match Three: Singles Match
Grimm vs. Maddog
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: Maddog had everything to gain and really nothing to lose...with exception of momentum. It had been learned earlier in the night that Maddog will get a chance at some PCW gold at Deadly Intentions as he and Chrissy would be taking on Mark Lightning and...The Byrd? The Byrd was put in as a replacement for Mikey Wryght since Mikey had "bigger fish to fry." So Maddog wanted to go in and get the win against Grimm, furthering his momentum. But it was not meant to be. Grimm, who has been nothing short of impressive since his return to the PCW, came into this match and clearly was the aggressor, controlling the pace and tempo of the contest at hand. Maddog had a few spots in the match where it looked like he was going to have a chance, but Maddog was not able to capitalize, and Grimm easily picked him apart. The finish came at around the 8 minute mark when Grimm had been able to nail The Harvest from the turnbuckle, following it up with a pinfall.
Winner
Match Four: Non-Title Singles Match
The Prophet {International Champion} vs. "The Unbreakable" Benjamin Banks
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: The Prophet had a mixture of The Congregation and members of the South Carolina Police Department surrounding the ring, preventing LoKi, or anyone else for that matter, to interfere in the match. And that may have been enough for The Prophet to concentrate on the match and the match alone, for though Banks put up one hell of a fight against the International Champion, The Prophet showed the World why he is a Champion here in the PCW, and convincingly defeated the worthy challenger in Benjamin Banks after hitting "The Unbreakable" Benjamin Banks with the Dreams' End at the 6 minute and 26 second mark.
Winner
Match Five: Singles Match
LoKi vs. Non Compos Mentis
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: Match Five saw LoKi take on Non Compos Mentis, who had been on a roll as of late. The match started off right quick as LoKi and NCM BOTH made their way to the center of the ring, trading punches back and forth, back and forth as LoKi got the upperhand, sending NCM reeling to a nearby corner. Throwing massive punches to the head and body of NCM, LoKi threw NCM to the mat and went to the ropes but before ricocheting off them, casting a wary glance to the entranceway, seemingly looking for something. That split second all that was needed, NCM quickly rolled LoKi up for the one....two....and LoKi kicked out at the last moment, both of them getting to their feet, LoKi, getting a massive clothesline for his troubles. For the next few minutes, NCM takes the upperhand of the match, working over LoKi's neck and back, especially with some of his more high-impact manuevers...including a massive Yakuza kick that literally knocked LoKi OVER the turnbuckle, LoKi falling to the floor. NCM playing it smart, letting LoKi bring HIMSELF back to the ring. A fan nearly was knocked senseless as he slapped the determined LoKi, him probably thinking The Prophet was attacking from behind. Truly, LoKi was paranoid...and for very good reason after the past few weeks. LoKi sliding back into the ring, NCM was able to continue his rampage, LoKi's mindset too frazzled to concentrate fully on the match, finally nailing the DumDumDrop at the 12 minute mark for the pinfall.
Winner
Chess Anyone?
Details: Following the match, with NCM already leaving the ring after the impressive victory, and LoKi just now getting back up to his feet, the arena lights go completely out, and The Prophet's entrance video begins on the PCW-Tron. LoKi's silhouette can be seen throughout the darkness, and you can clearly make out that he is a bit paranoid at with what is happening. Dozens of The Prophet's Congregation pours from the back in hooded robes and then they make their way around the ring, circling it. Once the entire ringside is covered by The Congregation, smokes arises in the ring. The lights suddenly turn on, and once they come on, The Congregation is gone, and their lays a chess board in the middle of the ring. On the PCW-Tron, their is a message from The Prophet which reads, "To Child on First Birthday: Love, The Prophet." And with that, the feed fades to commercial.
Match Six: Non-Title Singles Match
Slither {World Champion} vs. Ace Anderson {North American Champion}
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: The match that was suppose to headline Deadly Intentions had a chance to shine here tonight as the Main Event of Trauma [28]. HOWEVER, no such luck. After the ring introductions, and the match began, Slither slid on the outside of the ring, and Non Compos Mentis ran into the ring from through the crowd and snuck behind Anderson, knocking him down and stomping him to the ground. The feed fades out as Non Compos Mentis continues to beat-down Ace Anderson, with Slither just sitting back, looking on.
