Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: Trauma opens up with the usual pyrotechnics and the playing of System of a Down's, "Chop Suey." The cameras pan around the arena, highlighting numerous fans and their signs. As “Chop Suey” fades, the PCW-tron springs to life...
Mystery Man
Details: (The screen comes to life with a high shot of the arena. The camera pans down slowly, and a dapper man in a fine grey suit and matching fedora hat steps into the picture.)
Man: Pure Class Wrestling...a place where men become champions, and champions...become legends.
(The man removes a pack of cigarettes from his breast pocket, and throws one between his lips. He lights it, drags slowly, and exhales as he speaks.)
Man: But these legends are old, and the champions are weak. What PCW needs is a man who will make a real difference--shake the very foundation of what we consider to be greatness--and show the world what Pure Class really means.
(He drops the butt to the ground, and stomps it out. He turns to walk away, then stops, still looking away from the camera.)
Man: The time is almost here. Pure Class Wrestling is about to meet the first man who can truly dominate its ranks, put it on the map. And at Deadly Intentions, you will meet this man, too...
(The picture fades as the man in the fine suit walks toward the arena, and the camera pans to the ring for the start of the first match...)
Match One: Tag Team Match
Sean Hunter & Gravedigger vs. 2Guys
Referee: Steve Shaw
Match Details: 2Guys are the first to make their entrance. The fans laugh at the idiotic poses they both do, and eventually they are in the ring and awaiting their opponents. Gravedigger is the first to come out for his team, and as his music plays Jackle and Menace instinctively reach for each other, looking afraid. Gravedigger stops at the bottom of the ramp, to wait for his partner. However, as Gravedigger’s music stops, and Sean Hunter’s music begins, nobody comes from behind the curtain. Almost thirty seconds pass, and Sean Hunter does not come out from behind the curtain. Gravedigger just shrugs it off and climbs into the ring, ready to go into the match, handicapped or not.
Gravedigger starts the match off against Jackle, the ‘power man’ of 2Guys. Jackle starts right off by running off the ropes and trying to drop the seven foot six monster with a shoulder block. Jackle falls right down to the mat. Gravedigger lets Jackle get up, and Jackle then runs off the ropes once more, this time trying for a clothesline. He hits Gravedigger in the chest, and nothing happens. Jackle quickly goes over to his corner to talk with Menace, while Gravedigger looks on. Jackle tags Menace, and Menace gets into the ring, pondering what he is going to do to take this big man down. Menace runs off the ropes, but is smarter than Jackle as he throws his entire body at Gravedigger, trying to knock the big guy down with a crossbody. Menace hits Gravedigger, and then falls to the mat. Gravedigger picks him up by his blonde hair, hoists him up in a Gorilla Press, and throws him right at Jackle. Jackle falls off of the apron, and Menace lands on the mat. Gravedigger closes in on his unfortunate opponent.
Obviously a bit upset, it is showing through in the way Gravedigger acts for the rest of the match. He picks up Menace, wraps his hands around his throat, and picks him up. Menace, gasping for air, beats at the hands and arms of Gravedigger, but to no avail. Gravedigger takes a few steps around the ring, before firing Menace across the ring, Menace landing awkwardly near a corner. Gravedigger doesn’t waste any time, and he begins to beat down on Menace while Menace is on the ground. Jackle is in the ring and manages to momentarily save his partner by clubbing Gravedigger on the back. Gravedigger stops beating down on Menace, and turns to face Jackle. Jackle backpedals toward the opposite corner, while Gravedigger stalks him. He couldn’t have anticipated what happened next, however. Menace drops Gravedigger with a sprinting chop block. Gravedigger lands on his back, and Jackle and Menace begin to stomp on his entire body, trying to keep him grounded. After a few seconds, Steve Shaw has to stop them, and he sends Jackle to his corner. Menace stupidly (but when does he do something smart?) argues with Steve Shaw, which gives Gravedigger time to get up. Upon reaching his feet, Gravedigger stands in the middle of the ring, to wait for Menace to turn around. As Menace turns around, Gravedigger catches him around the neck in one hand. Knowing what is coming, Jackle climbs through the ropes and charges, trying to once again save his partner. However Gravedigger sees him coming, and grabs Jackle around the throat as well. In one smooth motion, Gravedigger hoists both up and delivers a double chokeslam! He pins them both, and Steve Shaw counts, 1...2...3. Steve Shaw tries to lift the hand of Gravedigger, but Gravedigger pulls it away and storms to the back.
Winner
Deadly Intentions Hype...
Details: A video package is shown highlighting the matches at Deadly Intentions. The Special Attractions match, the Tag Team Title match, the possible final match between Lassie and Stormm, and the Deadly Lockdown match for the World Title. The camera then pans to the ring for the start of the match between Grimm and Jade...
Match Two: Singles Match
Grimm vs. Jade
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: Jade was obviously afraid going into the match, as most people are when they step inside the squared circle to face the Abomination of Desolation. Grimm is a man who shows no mercy, not even for a woman, and that is what Jade was afraid of. Grimm charges Jade right off the opening bell, and Jade rolls out of the way. Grimm turns around, and charges Jade again. Once again, she manages to move out of the way, trying to use her speed to escape the hands of Grimm. Grimm decides to take a different approach. He waits for Jade to come to him. Jade approaches cautiously, trying to figure out Phinehas Grimm, and Grimm sees an opening. Yet Jade manages to cut him off with a dropkick. Phinehas is right back to his feet, a bit flustered, and he moves in on Jade. He gets Jade cornered with nowhere to go, so Jade goes for a kick. Grimm sees it coming, and catches her foot. He gives her a sinister smile, that is soon wiped off his face as Jade hits him with an enziguri. Survival is Jade’s first concern in this match. Jade goes for a quick pin, hoping that caught Grimm off guard enough for her to pick up the win, however, Phinehas kicks out and then grabs Jade by the hair.
Grimm delivers a headbutt that sends Jade stumbling away, but Phinehas doesn’t let her get too far away. Grimm runs at her and hits her with a spear that takes the wind right out of her lungs. Jade cries out, and Grimm doesn’t let up. He begins to hit Jade with closed-fisted shots, until Roberto Garcia pulls him off and warns him about using a closed fist. Jade is still down on the mat, and Grimm decides he doesn’t want to waste anymore time fighting this match. He picks Jade up, hits her with his Lament Configuration move, and then makes the pin. 1...2...3. Grimm shakes his head and walks to the back and behind the curtain, the PCW-tron comes to life..
Winner
Strict Orders.
Details: (The PCW-tron switches to a view of Silence and The Voice walking through the hall. The Voice is talking to Silence, and Silence is simply nodding his head.)
The Voice: Keep your eyes open. I have a feeling Gravedigger is going to be paying us a visit during this match, and I don’t feel like getting ‘buried alive.’ Even if he is a spastic freak, he is dangerous. Murdoc is dangerous as well. But I have a feeling you’ll do fine.
(Silence continues to nod as they walk, and the feed fades to commercial...)
Match Three: Singles Match
‘The Prophet’ Marcus Murdoc vs. Silence [w/ The Voice]
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: As the feed returns from commercial, both men are already in the ring and ready to go at it. They begin in a tie-up, with both men pushing, trying to get the edge. The Voice is yelling to Silence, ordering him per usual, and Silence begins to nod. Silence begins to push Murdoc back, however Murdoc wisely breaks the tie-up and applies an iron claw to the shoulder of Silence. This brings Silence down to one knee. Murdoc then hits Silence with mongolian chops, which brings him down to both knees. Murdoc is quick to hit Silence with a knee to the head that puts the big guy flat on his back. Murdoc quickly goes to work on the legs of Silence now that the monster is grounded, getting him in a spinning toe hold. The Voice shouts out directions to Silence, who tries to kick Marcus Murdoc away, but Murdoc lets go of the toe hold, and as Silence kicks, he grabs his leg. A quick elbow drop to the knee from Murdoc, he then pulls on the leg of Silence at the joint, trying to put on as much pressure as possible.
Murdoc stands up now, still holding the leg of Silence, while grabbing the other leg in his other hand. An outward push of both legs by Murdoc, and Silence is feeling the affects of the wishbone leg split. Silence sits up a bit, and Murdoc continues his work on the legs of Silence. He takes both of Silence’s legs, and crosses them so Silence is in an ‘indian style’ sitting position. Murdoc then digs his knee into the shins of Silence, applying even more pressure to the legs. First mistake.
Silence lunges forward with a headbutt that sends Murdoc falling backward, landing on the mat. Silence gets up, struggling a bit on his feet, the affects of Murdoc’s methodical attack working. Murdoc gets to his feet also, and runs at Silence. Silence is quick to react, picking Murdoc up in a backbreaker position. Silence then drops down to one knee, delivering the backbreaker. However, he doesn’t let go. He then powers up to both feet, knees wobbling a bit, and flips ‘Prophet’ over while falling down to one knee again, delivering a gutbuster. He then releases Murdoc, letting him fall to the mat, holding his midsection. ‘Prophet’ begins to stand again, still holding his midsection, and Silence runs off of the ropes. Not as fast as usual, but still running. As he approaches Murdoc, he lifts his leg for a big boot, but Murdoc ducks under it. As Silence turns, Murdoc reaches up, locks a clawhold, and then drives Silence down with an STK! Murdoc goes for the cover. One...two...kick out by Silence. Murdoc sits up, frustrated, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. Silence gets to all fours, and Murdoc mounts his back. Marcus Murdoc begins to deliver forearms across the head of Silence, who continually tries to get up, but keeps getting knocked back down by Murdoc. Murdoc goes for another pinfall. One...two...kick out by Silence once more. Murdoc gets up, hoisting Silence to his feet as well. Prophet locks Silence is an arm wringer, and then does another, wrenching the arm of his opponent tight. Murdoc then walks over to the corner, and mounts the top rope, beginning the move he calls the Gypsy’s Walk. After walking across the tope rope for a few steps, Murdoc dives down, hitting Silence with a double axe handle! For the third time, Murdoc goes for the pin, draping himself across the chest of Silence. One...and Silence kicks out! Murdoc stands up, and so does Silence, a look of anger on his face.
Silence and Murdoc walk across to each other, and Murdoc quickly hits Silence with Mongolian chops for the second time. Murdoc grabs the arm of Silence, and gives him another arm wringer, possibly signaling for another Gypsy’s Walk. However, as Murdoc tries to take Silence over to the corner, Silence doesn’t budge. Instead, he pulls on the arm of Murdoc, dropping him with a short-arm clothesline. Cover by Silence. One...kick out by Murdoc. Both men get to their feet, and Murdoc gives Silence a quick kick to his knee, bringing him down. He then applies a shoulder claw for the second time, however Silence counters it. He grabs Murdoc around the throat, causing Murdoc to remove the shoulder claw after a few seconds, and grab at Silence’s hands around his throat. Silence then stands, however he seems to be supporting most of his weight on one leg. In a great show of strength, he tosses Murdoc overhead, executing his ‘Shadowplex’, but he also falls in the process, one of his legs giving out. Both men are down now, and The Voice is yelling for Silence to make the pin.
As The Voice is yelling, he notices Gravedigger coming down to the ring, silver shovel in hand. Gravedigger slides into the ring, and as the referee tries to stop him, Gravedigger pushes him away. Gravedigger uses his silver shovel, bringing it in a downward motion right across the back of Silence! Silence falls face first into the mat, and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner
After the Match...
Details: Gravedigger continues his assault, once again hitting Silence with the shovel. Gravedigger then sets his sights on The Voice, as he slides out of the ring. The Voice backs right into the barricade, holding up his hands, praying for Gravedigger to leave him alone. Gravedigger doesn’t, however, as he then hits The Voice in the gut with the rear end of the shovel. This brings The Voice down to the floor, and Gravedigger has no choice but to run out through the crowd as security runs down to the ring to apprehend him.
Match Four: Singles Match
Lantlas vs. Kaden Keene
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: The bell is rung and the match begins, but neither Lantlas nor Kaden make a move. Both men stand in the middle of the ring staring daggers into one another, daring the other to make the first move. They begin to circle warily before locking up in the middle, testing one another’s strength. Quickly dominating Kaden in a contest of strength, Lantlas locks his opponent’s head under his arm and attempts a suplex. Kaden reverses the attempted suplex and answers with a quick dropkick.
Caught off balance, Lantlas stumbles forward. But the Elven Warrior is able to make use of the momentum as he bounces off of the ropes and catches Kaden Keene with a vicious clothesline. Lantlas goes for a quick cover and manages to hold Keene down for a two count before Kaden kicks out. Lantlas raises Kaden to his feet but Kaden fires back with two quick shots to the stomach, and with Lantlas down to one knee, Kaden launches off the ropes and uses Lantlas like a stair case as he delivers a hard knee to the side of Lantlas’s head. With Lantlas on the ground, Kaden starts to lay into Lantlas’s left knee with a series of kicks and stomps.
Delivering one last kick, Kaden steps over Lantlas’s prone form and applies a leg lock, trying to further hyper-extend his opponent’s knee. With the hold locked in, Lantlas thrashes in pain on the mat, trying to make it to the ropes. Fighting his way out of the center of the ring, Lantlas reaches for the ropes and is pulled away just as his fingers brush the bottom rope. Kaden drags him back to the middle of the ring but before he can fully lock in the leg lock, Lantlas is able to fight his way up to one leg. Not giving Lantlas time to make any kind of move, Kaden uses the newfound leverage to send the Elven Warrior right back down to the mat with a dragon screw leg whip.
Not letting up, Kaden grabs the downed Elf by his blue hair but is instead met with a shoulder to the sternum, followed by a second, and then a third. The third shoulder sends Kaden slamming into the turnbuckles. Lantlas follows him relentlessly, climbing the ropes and hammering punches down onto Kaden’s undefended face. The crowd counts off the punches as Lantlas uses the full ten count. Lantlas jumps down from the second rope and steps back from Kaden who falls to his knees and then to his stomach.
Lantlas picks his opponent up and Irish whips him across the ring, then fires off a clothesline. Kaden ducks under the clothesline and leaps onto the ropes, springing backwards, catching Lantlas in a modified Asai moonsault, dropping him to the mat with a reverse DDT. Dragging a reeling Lantlas up to his feet and locks his head under his arm. Lifting him up, Keene turns the suplex into the spiked DDT that he calls the Directors Cut. Not content to pin Lantlas just yet, Kaden drags the elf over to the turnbuckle. After positioning his opponent, Kaden ascends the turnbuckle and leaps off with a truly awesome moonsault.
Kaden comes crashing to the mat as Lantlas rolls out of the way. Neither man moves as the referee begins to count. He makes it to seven, and both men are just making it to their feet. Kaden is the first to act, taking a wild swing at Lantlas, who manages to duck it. Lantlas gets his arm down and under Kaden, hoisting him up onto his shoulders. Flame of the West!! Lantlas makes the pin as the referee slides in to make the count. 1...2..3...and Lantlas wins the match.
Winner
Backstage Assault.
Details: (The camera pans from the ring to the backstage area, where Silence and The Voice are walking around, apparently looking for Gravedigger.)
The Voice: Maybe he’s right around here...we’ll find him, and he’ll get what is coming to him...
(Silence and The Voice turn a corner, and walk right up to Gravedigger’s locker room door. Silence pushes it open, and walks inside. The lights are on, but nobody is home. Seemingly. Out of nowhere, Gravedigger flattens Silence with a chair from behind! He then cracks The Voice over the head, splitting him wide open. Blood pours down the face of The Voice, and Gravedigger continues to whack Silence with the chair. Security pours into the room, holding Gravedigger back, while Silence and The Voice are leveled on the floor. Gravedigger begins screaming at Silence.)
Gravedigger: I want a match with you at Deadly Intentions, Silence! I’m going to bury you alive!!
(The camera pans back to the ring for the main event, with everyone wondering if the match will be made or not.)
Match Five: Match Four of a Best of a Five Series
Singles Match
Justin ‘Stormm’ Michaels vs. ‘The Gambit’ Andreas Lasiewicz
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: Michaels and Lasiewicz don't waste any time, as they lock up in the center of the ring. Michaels gets the upper hand, muscling Andreas into the corner. Justin forces his will on the Polish Spirit, keeping him pinned against the turnbuckle. The ref begins his count. 1...2...3...4...and Stormm breaks the count. The two men separate, and the ref steps between them, admonishing Michaels.
But Lasiewicz throws a brutal kick around the ref and into Michael's gut! Stormm doubles over, and Andreas take advantage, throwing him into a front chancery. Lassie hoists Michaels up for a suplex, and drapes him across the top turnbuckle! Michaels falls awkwardly into a puddle of flesh in the corner. What a move!
Lassie puts the boots to his opponent, stomping Michaels with an intensity not usually seen in the Polish Spirit. Lassie takes a moment to bask in his own glory for the crowd, who return the gesture with a chorus of boos. Andreas raises his arms in a cocky salute to his own self-proclaimed greatness...and Stormm sneaks in from behind, catching Lassie in a full nelson! Justin lifts...full nelson slam! Lassie is stunned, and Justin immediately falls on him for the cover. 1...and that's all he gets.
Stormm snatches a handful of hair, and drags Lasiewicz to his feet. Still groggy, and the pain still sharp between his shoulder blades, Lassie barely notices as Justin wraps tight around him and tosses him over his head! Belly-to-belly suplex! Stormm grabs another swath of greasy hair, and throws a vicious forearm into his opponent's face from behind. He hits another, and wraps a thick around Lassie's chin, locking in on the sleeper hold. The ref gets close, checks to make sure the windpipe isn't closed off, and begins the questions. Lassie shakes off the offers to quit, all the while clawing and prying to get a hand between Stormm's arm and his jaw.
Lassie gets a moment of clarity, and forces himself to his feet. Stormm hangs on for dear life as Andreas begins to lean in towards him, lightening the pressure. Lassie throws a desperate elbow into Justin's stomach, and another. Stormm's grip loosens, and the elbow shots become less desperate, and more vicious. Finally, the hold breaks! Lassie throws himself off the ropes, raising his arm for a wicked clothesline, when Justin throws a boot up and greets the oncoming Pole right in the mouth! Lassie crashes to the mat, and Justin jumps on top of him, throwing haymakers into Lasiewicz's head and covering arms.
Lassie bucks Michaels over, and quickly rolls out of the ring, a move which is met by loud jeers from the crowd. He flips a particular digit at them, and they shower him with even louder boos. Again, spending too much time playing the fans, Lassie is unaware that Justin Michaels has rolled out of the ring as well. Justin crashes into him with a devastating clothesline to the back of the neck. Andreas is writhing in pain, but suddenly disappears beneath the ring!
Justin didn't see it, and frantically searches for his foe. Moments later, Lassie reemerges on the other side, a bottle of Polish Spirit in hand! Justin rolls into the ring, finally seeing his opponent. Andreas slides in, bottle in hand, and the ref steps in his way. The ref tries to take the Spirit, but Lassie won't let him. Before the guy in the zebra shirt can snatch it, Andreas tosses the bottle to Justin, who catches it, and waves it in front of his face with a slick smile on his face. It looks like he's outsmarted his opponent this time...
...but Andreas pushes the ref out of the way, and steps into a high-angle superkick...PEACE MAKER! Andreas connects with the bottle of Polish Spirit, which is sandwiched between his foot and Justin's face, and explodes, spraying liquor and glass across the ring! Justin crumbles immediately, clutching his face! Lassie jumps on Justin for the cover! The ref considers ringing the bell, but falls to his knees and begins the count instead...1...2...3! It's over! Andreas Laciewicz with a sneaky, dirty win!
Winner
Interview with a Garbageman
Details: [From the ringside area after the last match we go to the backstage interview area and to a view of Miguel Malone wearing his trademark Black Shades and reversed black cap as well as a black shirt and matching pants. He is holding a microphone and begins to speak.]
Miguel Malone: Hello people, I am Miguel Malone and this is PCW Trauma just one week away from Deadly Intentions. With me today is a PCW mainstay who is now the longest reigning PCW Champion since its beginning, holding the North American Championship for over six months now. He is Non Compos Mentis.
[The camera moves to the side to see the North American Champion standing by the side of Miguel Malone, holding his belt over his shoulder.]
Miguel Malone: Well, Non Compos Mentis, Tonight you face one of your toughest matches to date against Seth Sinn in a Title vs Title Ladder match. What are your thoughts?
Non Compos Mentis: Lets get one thing straight, Miguel. I have had much more challenging matches in the past. Take the first time I won the PCW North American title against Ace Anderson and Slither, My numerous matches against Johnny Vivacious, My Fatal 4 way NA Title match at the last PPV. This match is only up there because of the fact it is for two titles, not one.
Miguel Malone: Well, be that as it may you may not have much of an opponent today, being as you injured him quite seriously two weeks ago. Still, Seth Sinn has not got doctors clearance to wrestle tonight.
Non Compos Mentis: Seth Sinn shoved his nose into my business too many times and I showed him what happens when you do that. I made sure I left a mark and if he cant take it then he might as well hand over his HHW World Title right now.
Miguel Malone: Finally, you are now the longest serving PCW Champion in its history, having held the North American Championship for over six months.
Non Compos Mentis: Yes, I have held the title for over six months and I have shown Skylar Marshall that I deserve to become the next PCW World Champion by defeating the winner of Deadly Intentions’ Main Event. And, Miguel, Trust me, sooner rather than later I will capture that title. But tonight, Seth Sinn is going to see just why I will become a Double World Champion very soon, HHW and PCW.
[Mentis turns and walks away down the nearest corridor towards the ring.]
Miguel Malone: Now, back to the ring for tonight’s Main Event.
