Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: Trauma opens up with the usual pyrotechnics and the playing of System of a Down's, "Chop Suey." However instead of panning around the arena, the camera shows multiple views of the two rings set up in the Pure Class Arena, as well as the steel cage suspended high above the rings, to be used during tonight’s War Games Match. The camera then pans the crowd per usual, before returning to the ring as Mark Long makes the introductions for the first match...
Match One
Triple Threat Debutant Match
Ryan O'Neal vs James Keenan vs. "The Revolution" Ryan Patrick
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: Former tag-team champion, James Keenan, and fresh newcomer, Ryan Patrick, await the arrival of the third man in this contest, Ryan O'Neal. The announcer makes the call, but O'Neal is nowhere to be found. After an awkward pause, he makes the call again, but again O'Neal does not show. The ref says something to the announcer who, in turn, announces that the match will commence as a one-on-one bout. The crowd applauds, though they really could care less as to who Ryan O'Neal is/was. Don't show up for your own debut, and the fans forget you quick.
Keenan and Patrick circle each other as the bell sounds, and Patrick seems loose and ready. Keenan, however, seems a little stiff as he rounds his opponent, his ribs clearly still bothering him. The charge to the middle of the ring and lock up, where Patrick easily slides into a side headlock, neutralizing the size and power advantage held by Keenan. Patrick tightens the hold, cranking Keenan's temple with his arms. Keenan throws a pair of weak blows to Patrick's back with no effect.
Keenan leans into the hold, sending them both into the ropes. Keenan pushes off, and Patrick flies across the ring. They meet in the middle, Patrick shoulder blocking Keenan's massive frame to the mat. Ryan examines his accomplishment for a moment, then springs across the ring again. He throws a hard leg drop, but Keenan rolls away, letting Patrick land hard on his haunches.
Keenan is slow to his feet, but he makes up for his timing with a stiff boot to the mouth. Patrick falls to his back, clutching his face. Keenan lays the boots to him, nearly stomping the rookie through the canvas. James picks up his opponent by the head, throwing him into a front chancery. He tosses an arm over his head, and hoists Patrick up for a suplex. Patrick counters, continuing through the motion and landing on his feet behind Keenan. "The Revolution" launches a brutal kick to Keenan's back, sending the bigger man hard to the mat. Patrick shows his incredible athleticism by jumping to the top turnbuckle in one bound. He poses with an elbow in the air, and readies his leap...
...and it's just enough time for Keenan to roll out of the way. More rookie mistakes by Ryan Patrick. Keenan mounts him and starts throwing haymakers into his skull. Patrick keeps his arms up, deflecting the force of most of the shots, but it is still enough to daze the rookie, and to allow the very sore Keenan to struggle to his feet without consequence. By all rights, Keenan shouldn't even be in the ring right now.
James flips Patrick over onto his belly, and twists the rookie's legs at the calves. He kneels down, leaning into it, and reaches up for the head. STF! Great submission by Keenan, but...it almost appears as if he's in more pain than Ryan Patrick! The grip is weak, and moments later, Keenan releases the hold! Patrick can thank his lucky stars for that one!
Keenan rolls to his back, clutching his ribs. Patrick takes the time to recover, and gets to his feet first. Keenan isn't far behind, though, but he looks far worse for wear than the young stud Patrick. "The Revolution" charges, hands clenched high above his head, and comes down with a double axe handle on the top of the head of the former tag team champion. Keenan reels into the corner, where Patrick launches a flurry of punches and kicks, none of which are taking advantage of Keenan's broken ribs. Keenan absorbs the blows, charging out of the corner with a devastating clothesline! Keenan immediately doubles over, again clutching his ribs. Patrick is surprisingly quick to his feet, and as Keenan turns, Ryan connects with his own wicked lariat! Keenan crashes to the mat, but Patrick is having none of it, hoisting the bigger man to his feet.
Behind him now, Patrick wraps an arm around Keenan's waist, and reaches his other far out to his side. The swings wildly, REBIRTH! But no! Keenan ducks out of the way! Patrick almost spins himself out of his boots! He recovers, but so does Keenan. Keenan jumps into Patrick...CLOSING SONG! Patrick's face crashes into the mat with a sickening thud! Keenan rolls him over...1...2...3! It's over! James Keenan pulls out the surprisingly close victory!

War Games Approaches...
Details: A video package is shown, highlighting the ending of the Deadly Lockdown Match at Deadly Intentions. Grimm finally defeating Lantlas and hoisting the belt in the air, Lantlas getting in the ring afterwards, holding the microphone thinking it would be his last time. Skylar Marshall foiling his plans to retire and booking one final match...
...the camera pans around four sides of unforgiving steel, in black and white on the PCW-tron. Ominous music begins. The faint voices of Lantlas and Skylar Marshall can be heard, as a faint picture of the aftermath of Deadly Intentions... the creation of a most brutal match, appears on the screen.
Skylar - Oh, you think you have, eh? Change your plans for the next week, because you’re not headed to the retirement home just yet.
...
Skylar - You see, I still hold your contract, and you aren’t leaving until I say so! Therefore, since you’re screwing me over financially, I’m screwing you over… well… in any way imaginable, depending on how you look at it.
...
Skylar - ...because next week in this ring, you will be competing against the new PCW champion, Grimm. You will be competing against “The Prophet” Marcus Murdoc. You will be competing against the HHW and North American Champion Non Compos Mentis. And since he seems to think he’s going to be the next big thing around here in singles competition, you will be competing against Kaden Keene as well. One thing, they’re all going to be on the same team. Oh yeah, another thing… this match is going to be a WAR GAMES MATCH!
...
Skylar - This match will only be anything other than four-on-one if you can find some partners to team with you, but I doubt you’ll find anyone foolish enough to go against those odds. Good luck, Lanty.
The music picks up pace, as clips of the eight competitors in this match at various points during their PCW career. Lantlas defeating Ace Anderson, not once, but twice. Ace Anderson defeating multiple opponents, and then shaking the hand of Lantlas. Jade becoming Genesis Champion. Overcoming odds. Justin Michaels defeating Andreas Lasiewicz. Defeating Rodney Phoenix. Non Compos Mentis pinning multiple opponents, and climbing out of the cage in his Hardcore Hell Match. Kaden Keene holding up the Tag Team Championship Belt, and then flash-forward to Kaden attacking James Keenan. Flying through the air, and dropping a Limelight. Marcus Murdoc in various battles, including mind games with Angelica Night, Whisper, and LoKi. And finally, Phinehas Grimm. Decimating Mikey Wryght. Inflicting pain upon dozens...hitting the Harvest through the table, getting up afterward, hoisting the PCW World Championship for the second time during the package. Words flash across the screen.
TONIGHT...EIGHT GLADIATORS ENTER
The steel lowers down over the ring in an empty arena, multiple pans of the cage are shown.
EIGHT GLADIATORS SEEKING VICTORY
Quick flash of the four members of the team opposing Lantlas, and then the PCW World Championship.
BUT SOME WITH DIFFERENT PURPOSE
Another quick flash, this time of the team of Lantlas, Jade, Ace Anderson, and Justin Michaels. Then, the HHW Championship.
IT WILL ALL BE DECIDED...IN WAR GAMES
The PCW-tron fades out with one last shot of the steel cage and the two rings, the ominous music fading.
Match Two
Singles Match
Gravedigger vs 'The One Man Losing Streak' Pegasus
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: Making his first appearance in Pure Class Wrestling in some time, Pegasus was looking to regain his former glory. However, going against an opponent as daunting as Gravedigger, that would be no easy task. Pegasus didn’t look afraid though, not even a bit intimidated. He was once something special in PCW, and he knew he could get there once more, if only he could get a few wins under his belt.
As the match begins with the ring of the bell, with Pegasus unsure of sure how he is to overtake the giant man. A tie-up would prove fruitless, as Gravedigger would toss him around like a rag doll. He could try to take out the legs, but would probably get a boot to his face for his troubles. Standing up against Gravedigger also wouldn’t make much sense, as he was so much bigger and probably so much tougher. Before he could even get another thought, Gravedigger smacks him upside the head.
Pegasus hits the mat, and it all goes downhill from there. Gravedigger picks up Pegasus, and throws him into the corner. Gravedigger begins working on the midsection of Pegasus, driving the wind from his body as a railway spike into the track. Pegasus tries to fight back, throwing a punch toward Gravedigger, yet he has no wind so there is nothing behind it. Gravedigger simply chuckles, an evil chuckle, before backing up to the opposite side. Running across, Gravedigger delivers a splash onto Pegasus, further removing any oxygen he may have gathered.
Pegasus falls out of the corner right onto his face, but Gravedigger doesn’t let him stay down for long. With one fell swoop, Gravedigger scoops up Pegasus, a clam to his hawk, picking Pegasus right up over his head and tossing him with a gorilla press. The anger in Gravedigger is tremendous! Deciding to finish off Pegasus, and end his suffering short, Gravedigger picks Pegasus up, the fallen former star of PCW still clutching his midsection. Gravedigger picks him up, turning him, and drops him down in a Burial! Gravedigger makes the pin on Pegasus with one foot, as Travis Wilson counts. 1...2...3... easy win for Gravedigger. Tough luck for Pegasus.

Match Three
Handicap Match
2Guys vs Silence [w/ The Voice]
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details:"Drunkard Does Make Wise Remarks" plays as Jackle and Menace pose idiotically in the middle of the ring. Typically, these poses are funny (if annoying), and nothing more. But this time, 2Guys have some new jewelry to show off as they gesture...the PCW Tag Team Championship belts. Their music dies out, and then...
"Fallen,
broken,
simply dissolved into an incomplete thought
an empty shell cracked and disfigured
with no remorse I have been blinded by the darkness
with no distain I have received my punishment
and with no haste I await them."
Silence breaks through the curtain, closely followed by The Voice, and Jackle breaks his pose. Menace isn't so quick, until Jackle slaps him in the back of the head. The brooding monster of a man slowly makes his way to the ring as the pounding tones of his theme nearly drown the crowd's vocal distaste. 2Guys, clearly shaken, normally would have slipped out of the ring, but this large man's presence has them frozen.
The tag team champions fight over who's to start the match...well, actually, they seem to be fighting over who's NOT to start the fight, as Jackle yanks Menace back into the ring, and ducks out in spite of his partner's protests. Menace looks across the ring to Silence, who stands statuesque while his manager talks and gestures wildly. The bell rings, and Silence makes a slow approach. Menace cringes, then runs around the ring to get away. This masterful tactic does not work, as Silence simply alters his course. The crowd starts to chant his name, and Menace glares at them with disbelief. Finally, a swell of pride fills him, as he puffs his chest, pulls back his shoulders, and lifts his chin. He matches Silence's pace and marches out to meet his opponent in the center of the ring.
Menace is jaw-jacking at the far bigger man, but it has no effect. Silence isn't going to talk back, after all...
The crowd begins chanting "Hit-Him, Hit-Him," and Menace again scans the arena. A smile on his face, Menace hoists his fist aloft, but Silence cripples him with a vicious throat thrust! Menace crumbles to the mat, clutching his throat. On the apron, Jackle absently holds a hand to his own throat, a look that was quite possibly the opposite of envy on his face. Silence continues his advance, snatching one of the tag champs by the hair and lifting him to an upright position. Menace is coughing as he's shoved into the corner. Silence throws wicked shoulders into his midsection.
Menace falls to the mat, but Silence picks him up. He wraps his massive mitts around Menace's throat and hoists him into the air...he's going to Shadowplex him! Jackle flies into the ring, but he seems unsure of what to do. He goes to hit Silence, but stops short. He...he runs into the ropes, and throws a huge running dropkick to...Menace? Menace "oofs" and falls free from Silence's grip! Apparently, the move worked...
Silence, clearly angered, chases Jackle around the ring, but the tag team champion is too quick. They circle the ring almost comically, until Silence stops and reverses course. Jackle doesn't, and he runs right into a nasty boot to the face! Menace is on his feet now, and throws a clothesline into the back of Silence's neck. Silence reels for the first time in the match, and Menace seems quite pleased. Jackle stirs, and gets up in time to aid his partner in pounding Silence against the ropes. The big man tries to cover up, but 2Guys are surprisingly relentless in their offensive. Finally, Silence shoves Menace away, sending him sprawling to the mat. Jackle tries to compensate, but Silence counters with a series of hard punches to the head and torso.
Silence backs Jackle into the middle of the ring, then backs off and hits the ropes. Short arm clothesline! Jackle nearly flips out of his trunks as he crashes to the mat. Menace is quick to counter, throwing a dropkick of his own to Silence's chest. The big man reels again. Menace keeps it up, throwing dropkick after dropkick! A third, a fourth, and finally Silence hits the canvas! He's off his feet! But...Menace is still throwing dropkicks! He executes a series of flipping dropkicks into thin air...at least they are very nicely done...
Jackle sees his partner dropkicking to hell an invisible opponent, and quickly stops him. Tired, Menace rests against the ropes. As Jackle turns, he sees a charging Silence. Jackle ducks out of the way, but Menace isn't so lucky, as he takes a brutal clothesline up and over the top rope. Silence comes back for the one that got away, and runs into a belly-to-belly suplex! At least, that's what it looks like Jackle is trying to do...Silence won't budge, but that doesn't stop Jackle from trying.
Silence lets a forearm crash down on Jackle's back, sending the tag champ to a knee. Silence then throws a stiff knee to Jackle's chest, sending him rolling back. Silence picks him up immediately, and with ease, throws him up on his shoulders. Torture rack! Jackle howls in pain as Silence wrenches his neck and legs down to put pressure on the spine! There's no way Jackle can take this for much longer! But...wait!
Menace is perched on the top turnbuckle! As Silence turns, even the monster's face goes white as he sees that Menace has the drop on him! He launches himself, throwing a nasty forearm into Silence's face! The whole pack of them fall to the mat hard, and Menace goes for the pin!
1...kick out! Silence springs to his feet, his face red with anger. He's breathing through clenched teeth, and immediately finds Menace. He wraps his paws around Menace's throat and, SHADOWPLEX TO THE OUTSIDE! What a move! Menace seems to float over the top rope before, like Icarus, his wings melt and he falls to what seems like an apparent death on the thin mat surrounding the ring. The crowd starts their "Holy Sh*t" chant.
Jackle runs to the ropes, where he peers out in horror at Menace, who is twisted in a bad way outside the ring. Silence wastes no time, running off the ropes and nailing him with a running boot to the mouth!
Silence falls on the tag champion...1...2...3! Silence wins!

Match Four
Singles Match
Sean Hunter vs Nina Arcania
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: This match was over before it even got underway. Literally. As Nina Arcania is in the ring and waiting for Sean Hunter, who is coming down the ramp, the lights dim down real low, and mist fills the arena. The lights turn back on, the ramp partly enshrouded in mist, and Gravedigger is standing above Sean Hunter, silver shovel in hand. Gravedigger turns his sights to Nina Arcania. He slides into the ring, dropping the shovel before he gets in. Nina tries to dropkick him, but Gravedigger slaps her legs aside, almost as though she is a fly. He picks her up by her hair, and throws her over the top rope, right onto the floor in front of the announce table. The Spanish one, of course. Not that he’s racist.
Gravedigger climbs out and to the floor, and referee Tyrone Little tries to stop him from doing something drastic. Gravedigger simply pie-faces Tyrone, who wants no more part of Gravedigger after the lack of whipped cream in that pie, and decides to look out for his own health by getting out of there. Nina is climbing to her feet, and Gravedigger once again snatches her by the hair. He switches the grip, like all great golfers do sometimes, and takes her by the throat. A quick pick-up, and he lays the boom DOWN! Nina goes crashing through the announce table, and Gravedigger stands above her. The lights go out, and as they come back on a few seconds later, all that is left in Gravedigger’s place is a cloud of mist.

So it Begins...
Details: The steel cage begins to fall from the ceiling, coming down on top of the two rings in the middle of the arena. The crowd cheers wildy in anticipation for the match-up. ‘Reset’ by Mutemath begins to play, and that is when the fans know it is really about to happen...
