I should have deleted alot of boards by now, but for some reason, they're still here. I plan on keeping all of the PPV boards, but the Trauma boards might have to start going, keeping the 5 latest at a time, as originally planned. But before I do, since there are a shitload of new people, and people who have been active on these boards, I'll once again ask the question:
Should I start deleting the roleplay boards?

I suggest you start to delete some of them. While it would be cool to go back sometime and see some old work, I also know that I don't do that very often, and I'm willing to bet most everyone doesn't spend a whole lot of time looking up past RPs. So, my suggestion is that you begin to get rid of them, but post what ones you are to delete, so that way anyone that wants to keep a roleplay they did, or someone did one they liked and want to keep it will know they need to copy and save it. Make an announcement about a week before you delete them, so people will have time to do that, and after that week just delete them. That's what I think you should do.

The older boards give the chance for the newer members to read up on the past of their opponents and other names they don't know. I think that's something important.

In a way, yes, that is important... but then again, how far back do you think they will go, and how many do you think they will read? If we had every single RP board still up, I don't think a newcomer, unless they were really really bored or at a complete loss of what to say would ever go through every single one of them. I could see them selecting a few of them at most, but I still don't see why we still need every single board. I will admit that it is a good idea to some up for people to read, but I still think we need to get rid of a few of them.

Well, most of the people here, aside from LoKi and Pegasus haven't been here before Trauma like 11...I think keeping the most recent five would be good, or at most the most recent 10 because right now we have like...30 and it takes up a ton of space.

Yeah, just leave the last five like Andrew said though, that way we have some background on what our opponents have said and done just in case we need it for some reason in our RP's.

Keep the last five-ten... or put them all on an html page for easier reference.... I can host that on my website if needed.

I think you should maybe have five or ten most recent ones, just for reference. I know that when I started here at PCW, it was helpful to see other examples of rps. But the really old ones could probably be deleted, I don't know. Maybe go with Am. Nightmare's suggestion?

And it's just about official. Following the Trauma [44] deadline, I will be deleting some of the older Trauma boards. So, if you got anything you wanna get out of the board...maybe an old rp or something, start saving them somewhere now.

You could always just make one board for the archive, and move all the rps in there, instead of having one for each and every week?

You could always just make one board for the archive, and move all the rps in there, instead of having one for each and every week? We went through this before. I ain't going to go through and repeat it all over again. Won't work. I mean, technically, it can work. But I'd have to go and move EVERY rp one by one over to the new board...and that just isn't cool. Besides, that, if the option had worked before I started deleting them [Proboards didn't have the option at first until it's upgrade; by that time I already had lost the first 10 Traumas]...With all the other stuff that I have to do, archiving rps isn't high on that list. I do however advise everyone to keep their rpz though. Save them to their comp...save them to a website...save them on a forum they created...save them somewhere.
