DAMMIT!
As a few people have heard, I lost everything. All the results I've been working on since 7 AM are gone, with exception of 4 pages {two segments and the opening match}.
Ready for the story? Alright, here it goes:
So I'm working my ass off, and made the results damn good in my opinion. Much more thorough than usual Trauma results, because, you know, it's an important show. I had everything finished but the Main Event, which I was working on. The thing would have been over 15 pages long.
So I decide to take a break and use the toilet, for I was satisfied with that fact that I was almost done with the results and I might as well satisfy the urge of using the bathroom.
I go and use the bathroom, and when I come back, my nephew, who is about three, is pushing all types of keys on my laptop.
What he ended up doing was closing down my Word, without saving the results, closing down my browser, opening up EWR, Photoshop, Calculator, Windows Media Player, renaming My Computer to qxadse23s24YF, as well as IMing four people.
I was furious and I wanted to destroy him. But he knew no better (well, he has been always told not to come in my room or use the computer, but still), so I couldn't do much.
Needless to say, I wanted to cry. Still do. I've tried run a few searches in my temp folders and such, but the most I got was the last save I did, which was what I did after match one.
I know, I should have saved it more often or after every match, but I wasn't thinking.
Either way, if people are looking as to why the results aren't already out, welp, there's your reason.
I do plan on releasing them tonight sometime though. They might not be as good as what I had, or as long, or as thorough, but, dammit, it wasn't my fault!
And yes, I'm sure a few of you think I just summoned the spirit of Gene Snitsky, but seriously. This time it was truly out of my hands. Please forgive and be patient. As said, I still plan on getting them out tonight if possible, and I'm working on them now.
Thanks for understanding in advance,
Luis
