FLORIDA KEYS, Florida - Marcus Murdoc, also known as Pure Class Wrestling superstar 'The Prophet', was released from Mariners' Hospital in the Florida Keys this afternoon after being admitted on February 2 due to an altercation with club bouncers at Club Chavez. Reportedly, Mr. Murdoc was attempting to enter the establishment where a party was being thrown by rap/media mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs.
"He comes up to the front doors and we stop him and ask for his name. Well, his name wasn't on the list and we told him to leave. Well, he puffs up and DEMANDS that we let him enter the club', says Vince Price. 'and just doing our job, we had to forcefully restrain him to keep him from entering.'
A nurse at Mariners' Hospital was approached for comment, but asked to remain anonymous.
'He was admitted at about 11:30 P.M. on February 2nd, and was looked at by attendants for the possibility for a minor concussion. No such problems were found, and after finishing some routine tests that took most of the day yesterday, thanks to a busy staff, he was released this afternoon with a clean bill of health.'
Members of the AP were present when Mr. Murdoc was leaving the hospital and managed to get these few statements.
"Sucker punch. That's all that happened. My name was on the list to the party, I was INVITED for Christ's sakes. But since the bouncers decided to be jerks about it, I got to waste the taxpayers' dollars and spend a night or two in this fine, FINE hosptial. But never fear, you can never count Marcus MURDOC down for the count!"
The Prophet is scheduled to appear at the PCW's next Pay-Per-View event, Mass Destruction. You can also catch The Prophet and many more talented superstars on Tuesday Night Trauma on the E! Channel. Check your local listings for details.
