**Note: This week's edition of Trauma will be in, "high-points," only format. I had started writing the results, and was about seven pages in, but I totally lost interest. It's sad too, because I had really been contemplating tons of ideas to run, and actually really wanted to write the results out in full. But the total lack of roleplays activity caused me to lose interest, and while writing, it turned more into chore than hobby. It doesn’t help that I’m sick as a dog right now either. Either way, I really do the effort for this upcoming week is up, and if so, it will be reflected as so in the results.
Show Introduction
Details: Nothing of note with the usual Trauma pyro and introduction, although Jerry Andrews and Michael Williams did note that Max Powers suffered a dislocated shoulder following his elimination in the Rumble for the Gold Match at Trauma [83]. He was given the night off to further rehab his injury.
Match One: Singles Match
Marcus Murdoc vs. Heavy Metal
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: A little PCW history lesson- Murdoc and Heavy Metal began a bitter feud before the PCW went on hiatus last Summer. Issues between the two never were settled due to the timing, so this match is a fun little treat to the fans of old, as well as helping move these two on to greener pastures.
At the very beginning of the match, Heavy Metal used his speed to dodge or counter Murdoc’s attacks. But, as probability would have it, once Murdoc was finally able to land a decent blow, he was able to use his size and power to take the advantage over the smaller Heavy Metal. For roughly eight minutes, Murdoc used unrelenting force to humble the younger competitor, but it was his patented Old-School Rope Walk that caused his fall, quite literally.
With HM’s arm torqued and Murdoc beginning his walk, Heavy Metal surprised him and most of the fans in attendance, and did a standing somersaulted. The flip released the pressure that Murdoc had on the arm. Seeing this as his advantage to do something spectacular, Heavy Metal leaped up a beautiful, corkscrew dropkick, the move dropping Murdoc off the ropes and onto the floor below.
With the fans clearly behind him, Heavy Metal then went to up the ante. Waiting for the opportune moment (which was when Murdoc began to stir to his feet), Heavy Metal jumped up to the top rope and leaped off. He appeared to have been going for a hurricarana, but instead transitioned into a spinning headscissor crossface onto the outside. It’s hard to describe, but HM almost bulldogged/facebustered Murdoc while locking in the crossface, and Murdoc’s face bounced off the steel ringsteps.
Tyrone Little began the mandatory ten-count, while HM still applied pressure with the crossface, not relenting in his attack, remembering how personal this match may have been to him. However, his conscience kicked in halfway through the count and he released the move and rolled into the ring. With the fans and Heavy Metal watching, Murdoc remained prone, unmoving. Tyrone reached the count of ten and awarded Heavy Metal the match via countout- the match clocking in at ten minutes and forty-seven seconds.
Winner: Heavy Metal via countout
Skylar’s Watching
Details: Immediately following the match, the feed cut to the backstage area, where we catch Skylar in his office standing over a monitor. A look of anger then turns into a smirk before the feed cuts to a commercial.
Rubber Legs
Details: During the commercial, EMTs came to ringside to attend to Marcus Murdoc. They managed to get him up, but had to physically help him to the back as he was spaghetti-legged and couldn’t walk on his own.
Match Two: Singles Match
Johnny Nailz vs. Nacho Grande
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: Nacho, an apparently fun loving, mask wearing, Mexican flag carrying, made his PCW debut in this match. He squared off against Johnny Nailz, a man who impressed fans last week with his debut lost last week.
As funny as Nacho looks and acts, he impressed many fans by showing a savvy at quick-paced moves and holds, including hitting a few impressive moonsaults, armdrags, and surfboards. Whether it was second match jitters or Nacho’s superior skills, Nacho made quick work of Johnny Nailz, finishing him off at three minutes and three seconds after hitting him with an elbow drop from the top rope (2AM Drive-Thru). The move was setup by an airplane spin and then a finger-poke to the chest (Eat Late Even Great).
Winner: Nacho Grande via pinfall
Match Three: Singles Match
Icemann Invitational Tournament: Round One
“Wolverine” Anthony Douglas vs. Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith
Referee: Steve Shaw
Match Details: Before the match, the feed switched to the backstage area. There we could see Douglas already laid out, a chair by his head. The feed cuts to a different spot in the backstage area and it shows Ace Anderson destroying Crazy Boy, rage apparent. Ace finishes off Crazy Boy and snarls. Crazy Bob, Pegasus, and various PCW stagehands rush to the area and try to shield the fallen Smith, but Ace starts destroying them as well. He slams Pegasus’s head into the concrete wall and shoves at the others. When finally satisfied, Ace begins to walk away.
However, before he is out of shot, he is seen falling. The camera then picks up that Grimm is in the arena and had just attacked Ace. The two begin to fight, until dozens of armed security guards finally are able to separate the two men. The feed then cuts back to ringside.
Not knowing what else to do, Steve signals for Mark Long and then informed Mark of the outcome, who then informed the fans what happened. The match ends before it begins. No contest.
Winner: Match Canceled. No Contest.
Match Four: Singles Match
Silence [w/The Voice] vs. Jacob “The Rookie” Denocide
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: Jacob made his intentions known last week when he announced he was coming to the PCW. Unfortunately for him, his first opponent happened to be the monstrous Silence. It may or may not be coincidence that Jacob bears a strong resemblance to current PCW Star “Heavy Metal” Jacob Roth, the man who had a run-in with Silence at the previous weeks Trauma.
Silence too noticed this resemblance and, as a statement, made a point in destroying Jacob. Silence quickly finished this match, pinning Jacob thirty-two seconds in, after hitting The Reticence four times. Jacob got in NO offense and appeared to be seriously hurt following the match.
Winner: Silence via pinfall
Match Five: Singles Match
Icemann Invitational Tournament: Round One
James Keenan vs. “Dynamite” Stuart Robbins
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: This match was pretty much all Keenan. Robbins tried to cheapshot his way into offense at times, but Keenan pretty much dominated the contest. In under ten minutes, James picked up the win by hitting the Paradox, and then pinning Robbins.
Winner: James Keenan via pinfall
Hardkore to Pure Class
Details: Following the match, a small hype video occurs, showcasing “Indy Legend” Jeff Hardkore. It is announced Jeff Hardkore will be competing next week and will be apart of The Icemann Invitational Tournament.
Match Six: Singles Match
"Beyond Greatness" Ace Anderson vs. Lantlas [w/Devon Drake]
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: Ace made his second appearance of the night in a match with longtime rival Lantlas. Due to high-profile the match was, Richard sent Drake to the back before the bell sounded.
The match, for a lack of a better term, was underwhelming, especially given the two involved. It seemed as if they didn’t click in the match, and there wasn’t much actual wrestling going on. Lantlas looked sharp, but Anderson, whether still reeling from the action earlier or for other reasons, just wasn’t on his A-game.
Lantlas picked up the win at thirteen minutes and fifty-six seconds, pinning Anderson after hitting The Flame of The West.
Winner: Lantlas via pinfall
Skylar’s Still Watching
Details: As soon as the match finishes, the feed cuts back to the back with Skylar. He’s still watching the monitor, but this time, no look of enjoyment shows on his face. The last thing we see is Skylar walking out of his office before…
