Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
Introduction
Details: (PCW's flagship program - and only program - hits the airwaves right on schedule as fans tune in to the E! Network. The PCW Faithful have packed the Pure Class Arena and they're ready for what promises to be another fantastic show in the wake of what many fans are calling the best PPV of the year: Deception.
Speaking of Deception, a quick recap montage hits the PCW-tron for those that weren't fortunate enough to catch it two weeks ago. Tha phony telecasts of Tha Unholy Alliance are shown, followed by Usali Basilisk capturing the North American Championship with some inadvertant help from Areas. Andy D is shown picking up the win over friend-turned-rival Tyrone Smith, but he refuses to follow through on his promise to reveal Smith's dark secret. Heavy Metal's heart-felt announcement is shown, followed by Sadistic cracking brother Phinehas Grimm over the head with a steel en route to capturing the Interim International Championship. Highlights of the phenomenal match between Lantlas and Dazz are shown, including the post-match interview that saw Dazz escorted from the buildling - possibly for the last time. Luis Malave's surprise appearance and the meaning behind the Pick a $ide business is shown, including the announcement of the War Games match. LoKi is shown rolling up NCM with a cradle to retain his World Championship - and then beaten by Loco and Jason Willard! The montage ends with Stormm, Loco, and Willard standing tall in the ring.)
Jerry Andrews: Ladies and gentlemen...welcome to Trauma!
("Surivival of the Sickest" hits and pyros shoot off in front of the PCW-tron as the fans go crazy! Signs are waved and cameras flash around the arena as the shot settles in front of Al Laiman and Jerry Andrews.
Al Laiman: Folks, if you missed Deception, you missed history. The buy rates were off the charts...and for good reason!
Jerry Andrews: Good reason, indeed! And the Pure Class freight train is showing no signs of slowing. Tonight, Usali Basilisk defends the North American Championship against High Tide!
Al Laiman: And check out this match up, Jerry: Grimm meets Justin "Stormm" Michaels in the main event! Talk about an attention grabber!
Jerry Andrews: What about...?
Introduction Interruption
Details:
...Walk Hard...
...Hard...
...Down Life's...
...Rocky Road...
(“Walk Hard” by Dewey Cox begins to play and from behind the entrance curtain steps PCW “Captain” Alejandro Walker. “The Captain” is wearing a green cowboy hat to go with a flamboyant lime-green suit, which is embedded with sparkling rhinestones.)
...Walk Bold...
...Hard...
...That's My Creed...
...My CoooOOooddeee...
(But as flamboyant as “The Captain” is dressed, you can tell there is something definitely on his mind. Alejandro Walker, with lips pursed, hastily walks down the entrance ramp.)
Jerry Andrews: At Deception, “The Captain” and Skylar Marshall were both given ultimatums by PCW Owner “The Icemann” Luis Malave- assemble a team and win, or be fired!
Al Laiman: Seeing Captain out here now, you can tell he's all business, tonight. Tensions backstage are tense; Walker and Marshall have both been seen walking the halls, trying to get as much traction with the talent as possible.
Jerry Andrews: They know what's on the line. They know they have to get the best team they can put together so that they can keep their job.
Al Laiman: I can already tell that at Hostile Takeover, that War Games Match is going to be intense!
(Once Walker makes it to ringside, he walks over to Mark Long, who is sitting at the Time Keeper's table. Walker reaches for, and then is handed, a microphone. He then walks up the ring steps and steps into the ring. Once inside the ring, his music cuts off and “The Captain” begins to speak.)
“The Captain” Alejandro Walker: Before I get into anyt'ing, I first wants to thank all yous fans that make-up the PCW Faithful, whether yous be the ones who come out to these here shows, or if you're watchin' at home. Yous are the reason that I do this.
But the other reason I came out here tonight, is that I want to apologize. I want to apologize to all the PCW Superstars that I may have let down since comin' back into thee pickcha. When I first returned, I wanted to help right some wrongs, and at the beginning I think I did that. I helped people who deserved opportunity get they opportunity...people like LoKi and Nacho Grande...I helped dem wit that. I made sure Skylar didn't stack the deck against peoples like Heavy Medal. And I helped sign some good, young, talented peoples like Justin Kaard. But over the course of time, I fell privy to some of Skylar tricks and let his ideas influence some of my decisions. I played right into his hand, and for that, I apologize.
(The fans begin to chant, “IT'S OK! IT'S OK! IT'S OK!”)
The Captain: Now I find myself on the bad side of thee boss, again, and my jobs on the line unless I can get me a team together and win the War Games at Hostile Takeover. And I'm man enough to man up to dat. But even if I don't win, while I still got some pull 'round here, I want to make a few things right.
First off, as most of you all know, Heavy Medal has suffered an injury and cannot currently compete in da PCW. This leaves Nacho Grande without a partnah to defend the PCW Tag Team Championships. That's one of the reasons Skylar was able to schedule Nacho against both members of Tha UnHoly Alliance. But I want to remedy that situation. I have spoken with Mr. Medal, and he recommended someone as his replacement. After a private meetin' with “The Icemann”, I've been green-lighted to grant Mr. Medal his request. So at this time, I want to congratulate “The Adrenaline King” Justin Kaahd on becomin' PCW Tag Team Champion!
(Fans cheer.)
Jerry Andrews: Whoa! What an announcement!
Al Laiman: I think all titles should be earned, Jerry. Not just given away!
Jerry Andrews: With his fighting spirit, and overall put-everything-on-the-line attitude, I believe Kaard has earned this! He put on a hell of a performance at Deception, giving the fans the best of what he got, and had he not done that, he probably would have walked out the PCW North American Champion! And if Heavy Metal thinks he can hang, so don't I!
The Captain: Justin, to show you got what it takes, not only will you wrestle next against da Machine, but you'll also team up with Nacho Grande later in the night when we see Tha UnHoly Alliance take on Los Amigos Dos!
(Fans cheer even louder.)
The Captain: I'm sure you won't let us, Heavy Medal, or Nacho Grande down. I have faith in ya, kid. Always have, and always will. Which leads me right into the last thing I want to speak about.
Los Amigos Dos...Nacho Grande...Justin Kaahd...I officially request that the two of you be the first two members of my team for da War Games at Hostile Takeover. I can really use ya'll services, and once we win da War Games, I can assure you some of the absurdities that's been goin' on 'round these parts, we gone fix 'em right up!
(And with that, “The Captain”, whom you can tell is fired up by his mannerisms and tone, raises his arms in the air. “Walk Hard” kicks in again and the song fades us into a commercial.)
MATCH ONE
Singles Match
"The Adrenaline King" Justin Kaard vs. Machine
Referee: Melina Cruz
Match Details: Trauma returns from the commercial break just in time for the entrance of the Adrenaline King. Quickly becoming one of the most popular stars in the business, the high flyer bounces out from the back to a generous ovation from the PCW Faithful. Showing off his cat-like agility, he flips into the ring; he'll need that agility to get past his opponent. Machine steps out from the back, ducking to avoid the top of the entrance, and he's accompanied by Smith. Both men are clad in masks, but Machine is much larger than his aquaintance...easily over seven feet tall and nearly four hundred pounds of solid muscle. Children shy away from the aisle as the behemoth lumbers down to the ring and steps in over the top rope.
The match is...interesting...to say the least. Melina Cruz begins the match and Kaard isn't sure how to go about attacking the giant. Machine, on the other hand, simply stands in the center of the ring and watches the Adrenaline King. Kaard cautiously approaches and shoves Machine in the chest; Kaard is forced backwards. Machine does not move. Kaard lays a forearm into Machine's massive chest. The big man doesn't even flinch. Ready to scratch his head, Kaard quickly springboards off the middle rope and drills him with a missile dropkick! Machine is knocked back a step. Meanwhile, Smith is on the outside of the ring screaming orders at Machine. Glancing down at a folded piece of notebook paper, he seems to be reading off different things. Machine reacts to none of them.
Justin continues to assault the big man, but to no avail. The fans are beginning to grow restless. So is Smith, and he quickly jumps up onto the ring apron. Clearly frustrated, Smith begins screaming at Machine. Taking exception to Smith, Kaard approaches and points for him to get off the ring apron. Taking exception to Kaard, Smith nails him with a right hand! The referee has seen enough and quickly calls for the bell! Shaking off the blow, Kaard retaliates with a dropkick that sends Smith from the edge of the ring into the guardrail and the fans erupt! Machine simply watches the occurances with no particular interest. Having seen enough of the giant masked man, Kaard simply shrugs and leaves the ring with the disqualification victory.
Winner(s): Justin Kaard
Unholy
Details: Jerry Andrews: That was...bizarre. What's the deal with Smith and Machine?
Al Laiman: I'm not sure, but I'm getting word that Tha Unholy Alliance are backstage and they've got something to say.
(The feed switches backstage where Loco is standing there. Jason Willard is positioned off to the right, standing casually.)
Loco: Nacho, we're almost to the point of no return....at least you are. I only have to wait just a little while longer to step into the ring and wipe you off the face of the PCW roster. Tha UnHoly Alliance is ready, I hope you are, I would not like to see you not fight and I hope that the local hospital here has a bed and room for you, because you'll be stayng here for a long time.
A TODA MADRE, O UN DIS MADRE!!!!
(Loco and Willard exit stage left as the feed switches back to ringside.)
MATCH TWO
Tag Team Match
LoKi (World ©) & Lantlas vs. Areas & Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith
Referee: Joseph Buckland
Match Details: The next match is the tag match featuring the team of Areas and Tyrone Smith facing off against Lantlas and the World Champion LoKi.
First to make his entrance is the former North American Champion Areas who receives boos aplenty as he makes his way down the ramp, threatening the disapproving fans with a blast from his bionic arm. Once in the ring, “Ain’t No Sunshine’ ceases and is replaced by “10000 Watts of Artificial Pleasure”. Crazy Boy strides out onto the stage to the same negative ovation but ignores them completely and makes his way to the ring with only a glancing look at his partner.
The next music to begin is “Dream is Collapsing” by Hans Zimmer and Lantlas makes his way out, only to wait at the bottom of the ramp with an unusually neutral reaction from the crowd. Once his music stops there is a wait and tension grows with the crowd until “Unstable” by Adema finally hits and the crowd goes wild. Out walks the PCW World Champion LoKi who greets the fans and joins his partner at the bottom of the ramp. Both men enter the ring together to face their rivals and the referee checks that all participants are ready and then signals for the bell.
The two men to start are LoKi and Crazy Boy who begin to circle and lock up in the middle. LoKi gains control and whips Smith into the ropes before hitting a shoulder block. He hits the ropes but Smith recovers and goes for a hip toss that LoKi counters into one of his own. Crazy Boy, frustrated, gets to his feet and looks to lock up with LoKi before swerving and booting him in the gut. Taking the chance to dominate, Smith hammers LoKi with a collection of elbow, forcing him into the ropes before hitting a dropkick to the head. Smith pins quickly but only gets a one count.
Smith tags out instantly, bringing in Areas. The ‘Purest, Classist Wrestler’ in PCW slams his metallic arm down on the back of the recovering LoKi then pulls him back up. Areas hits a snap suplex and goes for the pin but Loki gets out before Joseph Buckland can even get down to count. He tries to get to Lantlas but Areas hits another metallic forearm to the back and sets up for the Backslide Driver. Areas throws LoKi down with the move but somehow the World Champion rolls through and, when Areas gets back up, nails him with a clothesline.
Seeing his chance, LoKi tags out to Lantlas who immediately hits a series of Japanese Arm Drags on Areas. The Elven Warrior then goes straight for a double stomp to the skull but Areas rolls out of the way, getting to his feet behind Lantlas and hitting a German Suplex. Areas bridges for the pin but only gets a short two count. Angered by the kick out, Areas moves Lantlas into the centre of the ring and goes for a perfect Lionsault but The Elf gets his knees up. Both men get to their feet but Lantlas acts first, grabbing Areas and hitting a Downward Spiral to the delight of the crowd. Rather than pin, Lantlas pulls Areas back to his feet and lifts him onto his shoulders for the Flame of the West. He’s about to hit the move when Crazy Boy jumps into the ring and hits a boot to his gut.
As Areas drops to the ground, Crazy Boy hits a One Arm DDT and heads to the top rope. Lantlas gets back to his feet and looks up to see Smith throw himself from the top, luckily he sees him early enough to dive out of the way. Instead of going for the Crazy Drop, Smith improvises and lands on his feet, only to run into a boot from LoKi who’s come to even the odds. LoKi hits the Double Underhook Alpha Breaker that sends Smith reeling to the ropes before PCW’s Fallen Angel clotheslines him, and in the process himself, over the top rope. As Lantlas finally gets to his feet he turns to find a recovering Areas who lashes out with a desperate Superkick! Lantlas ducks, hefts Areas onto his shoulders, and plants him with the Flame of the West! Three seconds later and the team of Lantlas and LoKi have picked up the pinfall victory!
Winner(s): LoKi & Lantlas after Lantlas pinned Areas
My Boy
Details: (The PCW-tron cuts to the backstage area where we find the plump old German from Deception marching down the hallway. Again, he's wearing a khaki outfit. He comes to a halt in front of PCW rookie Andy D. Andy D, messing with his footwear, curiously gazes up at the round man.)
Andy D: Uh...can I help you?
Old Man: Ah, yes! Guten tag! Maybe zee could help vee...
Andy D: Do I know you?
Old Man: Ah...no. Thee name is Viktor. Viktor Krauser. And I'm luking for my boy.
Andy D: Your boy?
Viktor Krauser: My boy.
Andy D: I...I'm afraid I don't know your boy.
(Viktor studies Andy for a moment before replying cheerfully in a thick German accent...)
Viktor Krauser: Danke.
(Turning an about face, the short old man marches off in the opposite direction. Not sure what to make of the man, Andy D turns his attention back to his footwear. Trauma goes to commercial.)
MATCH THREE
Singles Match
Non Compos Mentis vs. Andy D
Referee: Steve Shaw
Match Details: The next match up is Non Compos Mentis against Andy D. The crowd is pumped up, as both men are already in the ring, and when referee Steve Shaw motions for the match to start, both men waste no time. Andy D is a bit quicker, coming in fast with a clothesline, fresh off a win at Deception. However, his opponent Non Compos Mentis is coming in off a loss, and is perhaps a bit more focused, and he ducks under it. Each man rebounds off the ropes, the end result being a Running Knee Strike to Andy D's face, courtesy of his big opponent.
Andy is up fast though, and NCM is hot on his heels. The big man rushes towards Andy, who moves in like he is going for a lockup, but quickly plants Non Compos Mentis flat on his face. The high flyer is quick to take advantage of the situation, hopping on to the ropes, and nailing NCM with a Springboard Missile Dropkick, this time putting his opponent on his back instead of his face. As NCM rises to his feet, Andy D is ready, attempting a Hurricanrana. His opponent however still has some wits about him, and reverses with a Powerbomb!
The big man is thinking win early, and he goes for the cover. One...Two..Kickout! Andy D is not ready to go down that early. Both men are back to their feet now, and NCM is all over his opponent, with quick jabs to torso. Andy D manages to duck one of them, and using the ropes for assistance, he lands a
Tornado DDT on NCM! He quickly goes for a cover, hooking a leg. One...Two.... NO! NCM kicks with about half a second to spare, and Andy is frustrated! What will it take for him to put this man down! Frustrated, he waits until the big man rises completely, and runs at him with a clothesline, which NCM ducks. Unfortunately Steve Shaw who was standing in Andy D's path is not quick enough to move out of the way, and is nailed by his clothesline!
Andy looks at the downed referee, and then turned to face his opponent once again, realizing that the referee was completely unconscious. However that two second distraction cost him valuable time, and NCM is waiting for him. He locks Andy in a Touch Of Insanity (Dragon Sleeper Submission combined with an Arm Wrench). Andy fights to try to get out of it, but the bigger man has the strength advantage and soon Andy is tapping. The referee is still down and eventually Andy goes unconscious and the tapping stops all together, but there is still no sign of stirring from Steve Shaw. Frustrated, Non Compos Mentis releases the hold, and goes over to the referee.
He attempts to stir the fallen official, talking to him, and shaking him forcefully, but not with any intent to harm. Almost two minutes goes by, and the referee is still down, and NCM returns his focus to his opponent. Andy D however has gotten up and is standing shakily. Acting purely on desperation, he lands a Dragon's Bite (Shining Wizard) right to the face of NCM! The big man falls hard, and Andy D, still slightly out of it, he falls on top of his opponent, going for the pin. However he soon realizes that the referee is out of it, and he rolls off of his opponent. Both men, exhausted and having taken some powerful moves, are down on the mat.
Soon after, Steve Shaw finally stirs, climbing to his feet, and looking down at the two wrestlers. He has no idea how both of them are down on the mat, but he begins his obligatory ten count anyways. He gets to three before either man moves, and by six both are struggling to pull themselves up on the ropes. At nine, both men have risen, and stand across the ring from each other, visibly shaken. They slowly advance towards each other, and the crowd is mostly on their feet at this point, cheering for the wrestlers performance loudly. They begin to trade punches back and forth, throwing everything they could still muster into the blows. The crowd reacts to every punch!
Finally Andy D blocks a punch, and throws Non Compos Mentis into the ropes with an Irish Whip! As Non Compos Mentis rebounds off the ropes, Andy D goes for another Dragon's Bite! NCM ducks under it and rebounds off the other ropes! As Andy D turns to try again, Non Compos Mentis delivers Andy D a faceful of Blunt Trauma (Spinning Backfist)! Andy D falls hard, and NCM isn't finished, as he bounces off the ropes one more time and gives his opponent a Psychotic Break (Sliding D)! He falls on to Andy D, and hooks the leg for a pin! One...Two...Three! Non Compos Mentis has pinned Andy D for the win!
Winners(s): Non Compos Mentis
Brotherly Love
Details: (With the match between NCM and Andy D in the books, "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones hits and out slithers the new International Champion. The boos are resounding. Dragging the belt in one hand and a dented steel chair in the other, the Phenom makes his way to the ring and sets up the chair before requesting a microphone. The music cuts out as Sadistic takes the mic and sits in the chair. The boos finally die out as the Phenom speaks.)
Sadistic: This International Championship carries a lot of meaning. This belt meant the world to Heavy Metal...how's the knee?
(Sadistic looks into the camera and smirks as the fans show more disdain for the Carnivore of Hardcore.)
Sadistic: The International Championship is a symbol of excellence. A prestigious trophy. A historical monument held by some of the finest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots. It's a dream come true. A career-defining accomplishment!
(The fans listen, wondering where he's going with this.)
Sadistic: Well not to me! To me, this belt is none of those things! But it does mean something...which is why I'd like to ask my brother, Phinehas, to come out here.
(Sadistic turns to face the entrance and awaits the arrival of the Crimson Demon. After a short while Grimm emerges from the back accompanied by no entrance music. He walks to the ring and climbs in, wondering what his brother his up to.)
Sadistic: How's the head?
(Grimm offers no response. He simply stares at his older brother.)
Sadistic: As many of you know, over the past several months my brother and I have dominated...no, we've DESTROYED everyone that's been laid before us! The Horrors from Hangtown, right? And we lived up to that name, didn't we?
(Phinehas can only shrug and nod in agreement.)
Sadistic: Broken necks, busted knees, and battered egos! We were unstoppable! Or at least...YOU were unstoppable.
(The Crimson Demon isn't quite sure what his brother is getting at.)
Sadistic: "Phinehas Grimm. He's the most feared and respected wrestler in PCW history. Sadistic is just along for the ride." "Sure, the Horrors from Hangtown are the most dominant tag team in the history of pro wrestling, but they'd be nothing without Grimm." "Oh, no. There are two Grimms!" Not two Sadistics. Two Grimms!
(Phinehas can only shake his head as Sadistic's jealousy becomes more and more apparent.)
Sadistic: Even going into Deception...you were a shoe in, weren't you? You don't spit into the wind, you don't tug on Superman's cape, and you don't bet against Phinehas Grimm. Isn't that how it goes? Well not anymore!
(Sadistic stands and folds up the steel chair he'd been sitting on. He lets Phinehas get a good look at it.)
Sadistic: Look familiar? You know, Phinehas, you might have these fans fooled. You might have the boys in the back fooled. You can't fool me. I'm another Grimm? No, no, no. YOU are an inferior version of ME!
(Sadistic is clearly trying to get under his brother's skin, but Phinehas gives him nothing. The fans are all too eager to boo the Phenom.)
Sadistic: And THAT is what this belt represents to me. I carried the greatest tag team the world has ever seen, I destroyed you at Deception, and I...am...BETTER...than you!
(William beams a cocky smile while thrusting the belt into the air...nearly thrusting it into Grimm's face. Again, the fans boo. Phinehas makes the only logical choice: He cracks a wry smile and extends his palm for a congratulatory handshake. Sadistic's smile quickly vanishes as he gazes at Grimm's hand in disgust. The Phenom, too, extends his hand...right across Grimm's face!)
SLAP!
(The fans let out a collective gasp! Grimm's head is snapped sideways. Rather than wait for his brother's retaliation, Sadistic quickly rolls out of the ring and backpedals up the ramp with belt in hand. Grimm's face betrays nothing as his cold blue gaze stays fixed upon his brother. PCW goes to commercial.)
MATCH FOUR
Unsanctioned Handicap Match
Tha UnHoly Alliance vs. Nacho Grande & Justin Kaard (Tag Team ©)
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: After the revelation earlier in the night by "The Captain" this match has been evened to two-on-two contest. An unofficial contest. NACHOOOOOOOOO is out first to an enormous ovation from the crowd! He's got a tag title in each hand as the fans are swaying to some New Kids on the Block! After hopping around on the stage for the fans, Nacho quickly turns and points to the entrance. Out comes Justin Kaard...and the fans roar again! Nacho passes the torch...err, belt...to Kaard as the duo make their way to the ring for this unsanctioned brawl. What did Walker call them earlier? Los Amigos Dos?
Upon entering the ring and getting the fans all riled up, the champions turn their attention to the entrance area. Sure enough, out come Tha UnHoly Alliance...and the fans crap all over them. Loco and Willard love it...but they don't look like they care for Kaard's inclusion into the match. Before heading down the ramp, Loco and Willard hold a quick huddle. Breaking from the huddle, TUHA shrug their shoulders and shake their heads from side to side as if to say,"Nah...I don't really feel like it." As the duo turns to the back, the booing intensifies. Nacho and Kaard are ready for a fight.
Unfortunately, Loco and Willard do what they want and they don't want to fight in a PCW ring tonight.
Winner(s): No Contest
MATCH FIVE
North American Championship Match
Usali Basilisk © vs. High Tide
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: After that last "match" that didn't actually happens, it's now time for a real match. Up next is the North American Title match between PCW’s resident salty sea dog, High Tide, and the man making the first defence of his North American Championship, Usali Basilisk.
“Purple Haze” by Jimi Hendrix hits and the rum-soaked High Tide strolls out onto the stage, accompanied by his faithful Chelsea and a chorus of boos he pays no attention to. As Chelsea waves the pirate flag, Tide steers his imaginary ship to the ring and climbs in, antagonising the crowd with fake cannon shots. The boos continue until his music is replaced by “Holding Out For A Hero” by Frou Frou at which point the fans cheer loudly for their new North American Champion. Usali Basilisk walks out to a huge ovation and displays his title proudly as he makes his way into the ring.
Eddie Lane frisks both men, getting more bodily contact than he’s had outside a wrestling ring in decades, and decides both men are good to go. He signals for the bell and the match begins! Both men come straight out of their corners and thrust into a tie up but with Usali being the large man he forces Tide back to the ropes. Tide doesn’t like this and waits for Lane’s count to reach four before thumbing Usali in the eye blatantly…or through the eye hole at least. Lane does nothing and Tide takes advantage by clubbing Usali with forearm shots to the neck and chest. He then whips Usali across the ring and ducks, only for Usali to jump over with a Sunset Flip. Tide rolls through, however, and nails a dropkick to the face.
After a one and a half count Usali gets his shoulder up and Tide drags him to his feet. With encouragement from the lovely Chelsea, Tide hits another onslaught of forearms that stun the Champion and then hits the ropes. Tide goes for the clothesline but Usali ducks and hits the ropes himself. Hitting three lightning fast Flying Forearms, Usali sees Tide down and heads to the corner already. As Tide recovers, Usali reaches the top and throws himself off with a huge Dragonrana only to be hit with a shuddering Jumping Heel Kick. Tide drapes his arm over Basilisk but he gets his shoulder up and two and a half.
Tide pushes himself to his feet and signals for the end, moving to the corner. He climbs to the top and looks for the Shooting Star DDT, but Usali sees him and hits a huge standing dropkick, dropping the Pirate straight down onto the top turnbuckle. Before he can recover again, Usali leaps up and nails a spectacular Frankensteiner, throwing Tide through the air until he crashes into the mat. The crowd are really getting behind their Champion as he approaches Tide and looks to finish it as he lifts his opponent up for the Ascension Bomb. Somehow Tide wriggles free of the Crucifix Bomb and drops behind before rolling him up into a Pirate Code schoolboy and getting a two and nine tenths.
Usali gets to his feet and hits the ropes just as Tide finds his. On the rebound he leaps into a Head Scissors Take Down but again High Tide manages to roll back to his feet and recoils off the ropes before hitting a rib shattering Spear that keeps both men down on the mat, trying to recover. The referee begins his mandatory ten-count, his back to the entrance, and as he's doing so, Areas sneaks out from the back! The fans immediately begin booing as Areas crouches at the ringside area and waits for his opportunity. High Tide is up first and spotting Areas as ringside, he smartly distracts the referee. Usali pulls himself up with the aid of the ropes...and Areas clubs him across the back of the head with that deadly arm! With Usali down, High Tide takes to the top rope and connects with the Man Overboard! frog splash and makes the cover! The fans boo as the referee counts the one, two, three! We have a new North American Champion!
Winners(s): High Tide
Extra Curricular
Details: (With the damage done and the title lost, Areas is licking his chops. He dives into the ring and begins stomping away on the Grand High Exalted One!)
Jerry Andrews: This is completely uncalled for! Get security out here!
(Never one to turn down a free beating, High Tide gets in on the action! The crowd pops huge as Andy D sprints out from the back and dives into the ring! Caught completely by surprise, Areas and High Tide are on the receiving end of some big right hands! Before long, Basilisk is back up and in a matter of seconds they've cleared the ring!)
Jerry Andrews: Andy D just saved Basilisk's hide!
Tide retrieves his belt as he and Areas retreat to the back. The fans are loving it as Usali and Andy rule the ring. As Andy attempts to leave, Usali grabs his shoulder. Andy spins around to see Usali offering his hand. The Dee looks to the fans before giving the Immortal One a firm handshake, much to the delight of the fans! With that Trauma goes to commercial.)
MAIN EVENT
Singles Match
Grimm vs. Justin "Stormm" Michaels
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: Grimm's music hits and he's the first man out for tonight's main event contest. Surprisingly, after months and months of hate-filled boos, the fans are actually cheering the Crimson Demon. Phinehas pays the fans no attention, like usual, as he heads down to the ring to await his opponent. Justin Michaels is out next, and he's the recipient of the usual negative reaction from the crowd. Stormm looks upon the fans as if they are mere peons before turning his focus to PCW's resident folk legend. Stormm enters the ring and referee Little goes over the rules with both men before starting the contest.
The match begins with Grimm taking the early advantage. The Crimson Demon uses his speed and quickness against his larger foe and unleashes some pinpoint accurate striking on Pure Class Wrestling's wealthiest wrestler. The fans are clearly behind Grimm in this one and he continues to work over the former World Champion with some stiff punches and knee strikes. A brutal headbutt drops Stormm and Phinehas even gets a two-count out of the ordeal.
Grimm continues to press the advantage, but Stormm's had enough punishment for awhile and uses a thumb to the eye to change his fortunes! The fans boo and Tyrone Little issues Stormm a verbal warning - like he cares. Swaying the momentum of the match, Stormm goes on the offensive. After softening Grimm up with some punches, kicks, and slams, Stormm begins unloading with the heavy artillery. A belly-to-belly suplex garners a two-count and a front Russian Leg Sweep earns another nearfall. A reverse DDT gets a two-and-a-half count and a full nelson slam gets a nearfall so close is causes the crowd to gasp!
Ready to put Grimm away, Stormm locks him and and goes for the Flash Flood - but Grimm spins in the air and lands on top of Michaels in a cross body block, barely getting a two-count. Both men are back up and Grimm begins unleashing some Muay Thai goodness followed by another spectacular headbutt that sends JSM to the corner. Grimm looks as if he's going to prepare Michaels for the Harvest, but JSM connects with an inverted atomic drop before it can go any further. A Hangcloud DDT takes the wind out of the crowd as Michaels makes the cover. 1...2...kickout!
The fans erupt, but the veteran Michaels, looking to avenge his 0-2 record against Grimm, is relentless. He pounds the Crimson Demon with beefy right hands before administering a blatant choke! Stormm continues to bend the rules as he looks to put Phinehas away. A powerslam leaves Grimm on the canvas and Stormm is ready to end the match. Pulling him to his feet, Stormm lifts him into the air for the Force of Nature - but Grimm slides down his back and drives JSM into the mat with the Foddershock! The fans are back in it as Grimm yards Stormm off the mat.
As Grimm locks Michaels in, Loco and Willard run out from the back. Loco jumps up onto the ring apron causing Phinehas to release Michaels - and blast Loco with a right hand! Loco drops to the arena floor and the fans love it! Willard is up onto the apron next and a roundhouse kick to the side of the head floors him! The fans erupt again! Until Michaels wraps him up from behind and rolls him into a pinning predicament...while holding a handful of Grimm's pants for some illegal leverage! 1...2...3!
Winner(s): Justin "Stormm" Michaels
Closing
Details: (Having stolen a rare victory from Grimm, Stormm bails out of the ring and is quickly joined by TUHA. The Lord of Misrule is up in the ring, and he's not happy as he glares at the three men.)
Jerry Andrews: That's a huge win for Justin Michaels. A win over Grimm will put him one step closer to another shot at the World title.
(As Loco, Willard, and Michaels back up the entrance ramp, Billy Sadistic steps out from the back. Grimm's attention quickly turns to his brother. Sadistic gives him a mocking golf clap before shaking his head in disappointment.)
Al Laiman: Folks, we'll see you at Trauma in two weeks!
