A segment has surfaced from Trauma 122 and, somehow, it didn't air. Here's what you missed.
“Puro Power!” Kaijin Shinryu is seen strolling in the backstage area. He has something in a white Styrofoam cup, its contents steaming. Perhaps it’s coffee or tea, but Shinryu, known as a keen tea drinker, most likely has the latter.
He stops in mid stride, looking at the man a few feet in front of him. The camera pans over to the man in question, and it’s the returning MONROE. Both men, along with World Champion Sean Rhodes, are in the six man tag team main event. The fans are buzzing, watching these two stare intensely at each other. Finally, Shinryu breaks the silence.
Kaijin Shinryu: Alexis…
MONROE: Ryuta…
More intense staring. Finally, both men bow toward one another, and went their separate ways.
Could there be a newfound respect between these two superstars? Only time will tell.
