Greenville, SC; November 2nd, 2013 - Justin "Stormm" Michaels is to take a leave of absence from Pure Class Wrestling for an undisclosed amount of time. Officials are remaining quiet as to the exact nature of his (temporary?) departure, but an anonymous source claiming to be close to the situation was quoted as saying:
"It's just...he just needs some time. You know? Stuff happens, things happen, and he just needs some time to sort it all out. I'm sure he'll be back sometime soon - you can't keep a solid competitor like that down for long."
In the past few weeks it seems as though Pure Class Wrestling has been plagued with departures, beginning with former International Champion Whitey Ford's upcoming murder trial, Justin Kaard's unchecked defiance finally resulting in his suspension, followed by Gabriel Cross' leave of absence owing to an official "personal leave request"; a close friend contacted PCW to discuss the matter, requesting to remain anonymous but mentioning a severe illness in Cross' immediate family.
Unfortunately, PCW tag team The New Breed Foundation members Jonathan "Beast" Cable and Sebastian St. Paul remain hospitalized after their ill-fated run in with {BLACKED OUT} and Eira of the Untouchables at Trauma 142. Sebastian St. Paul is due to be discharged within the month, rumors of necessary rehabilitation therapy making his return date unclear. Jonathan Cable, however, remains in critical condition with internal bleeding after the brutal attack from {BLACKED OUT} that was found to have fractured Cable's sternum and broken several ribs.
But all is not lost for the South Carolina based company! Newly recruited talent to PCW has made a strong showing so far, momentum that management hopes to see continue through the Deadly Intentions IV event and well beyond. Among these competitors is the brazen Tristan Slater, a relative newcomer who has made an explosive impression on the company! We also have the newest member of PCW, a Mr. Noah Walsh who has been offered a spot in the upcoming Deadly Rumble at Deadly Intentions IV, an event that also marks the return of Cory Steel to active duty following his brief leave of absence.
In addition, contract offers have gone out to two former PCW talents: {BLACKED OUT} contingent on his defeat of Tristan Slater in their upcoming no disqualification singles match at Deadly Intentions IV, Eira's contingent only on her acceptance of the offer. PCW.com has reached out to Eira for comment, and scheduled an interview that will occur later in the week - stay tuned to your NUMBER ONE source for all things PCW for more updates!
