Mike Park
Mike Park had a very interesting stint in PCW. He was no doubt talented, although many would say he was overrated. Irregardless of that, Mike Park was able to win The Icemann Invitational Tournament in his PCW debut year of 2011. At stakes during the TIIT was the PCW World Championship, which Park “won” due to referee stoppage after Murdoc refused to submit to the man.
After winning the title, Park went through a lot of weird events (including burning a baby!) that ultimately saw him stripped of his PCW World Championship and subsequently removed from the PCW roster. Even though his stay in PCW was controversial and short-lived, Mike Park still managed to rank 26 when the PCW Power 100 was released, amassing a win/loss/draw record of 6 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws.
vs.
Michael Wryght
Michael Wryght, better known by his ring alias “Mr. Showtime,” has been apart of PCW since it’s reopening year of 2005, and continues to compete today. While Mike’s win/loss/draw record may leave a bit to be desired (32 victories, 41 defeats, and 8 ties), Showtime always delivers when he’s in that ring. The self-thought “A-List Actor” has won every championship PCW has to offer, sans the Genesis and North American Championships, and has been featured in high-profile feuds and matches throughout his stay.
However, it wasn’t until March 2013 before Showtime was to be called PCW World Champion. In the Main Event of Mass Destruction III, the biggest show of the year, Mikey defeated Sean Rhodes and longtime nemesis Phinehas Grimm in a triple threat match to be crowned Champion. Mike was ranked #9 on the PCW Power 100.
