We kick off Trauma with Patrick Gregory Brooks in the middle of the ring, to his right ... the ever faithful Isabella Alexis. She’s got a clipboard in hand as she stands resolutely to his side ... ‘Big’ Dave Brandt and Double D flanking the pair on either side. Impeccably attired, he’s got a microphone in hand and a semi-displeased look on his face.
‘Ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME TO TUESDAY NIGHT TRAUMA!’ The crowd erupts in cheers, shouts and hollers that only die down after several seconds. ‘Tonight, we have a great show for you! I’m out here first of all to handle a little bit of Presidential business. You see, I’m sure you’re all well aware of the inclement weather conditions of late ... and it is my duty to inform you that several PCW talent were unable to make it to the arena to perform here tonight.’ The crowd boos heavily for this but Brooks, as a man of the people, is quick to assuage their unhappiness.
‘That said, we DO have a plan in place to refund one-half of the ticket price you purchased here this evening along with a complimentary t-shirt of your choice at the merchandise stand. Simply visit the ticket booth on your way out. Honestly? I don’t think ANYone will ask for a refund. Not for the action and excitement we have planned. It will be up to YOU to decide if you need a refund.’ The crowd is on their feet, the PCW Faithful are just that ... faithful. They know that Trauma never fails to deliver.
‘So without further adieu, let’s get the show on the road!’
We get the standard opening Trauma package before heading to the ring for our first contest of the evening!
Match One
Genesis Championship Match
'The Amazing One' Maize vs. Kelli 'Dollface' Starr (©)
Referee: Marcos Cruz
The first competitor to make their entrance is the challenger for this Genesis Title contest as ‘Down With a Sickness’ hits and the extremely confident (some may say arrogant) figure of ‘The Amazing One’ walks out onto the stage. Briefly taking the reaction of the crowd in, Maize begins to make his way to the ring with a mixed reaction following him. As he climbs into the ring, he smiles cockily and performs some last minute stretches before the crowd explodes with cheers. ‘Syringe’ by Emilie Autumn replaces Disturbed and out comes the Genesis Champion, Kelli Starr! The crowd gives her a booming welcome as ‘Dollface’ bounces onto the stage and down the ramp with her infectious energy.
As she slides under the bottom rope, she comes face to face with her opponent, and Maize looks less than impressed with his title holding opponent. Not easily intimidated, Starr stares down her opponent as Marcos Cruz tries to separate them. Once they’re (reluctantly) apart, Cruz signals for the bell and the match begins.
Immediately Starr goes on the attack, firing off a flurry of forearm shots before the much larger Maize has a chance to react. The forearms strike hard and force ‘The Amazing One’ backwards but as Starr attempts to whip him across the ring he reverses. ‘Dollface’ flies into the ropes and into a powerful Armdrag… but mid move the flips through with her superior agility. Maize is stunned for a second then throws a wild Clothesline, only for Starr to duck in and roll him into a perfect School Boy pin for a quick one count.
Maize pushes out and both competitors gets to their feet, but as Kelli goes to attack Maize lifts a knee straight into her midsection. There’s no chance to recover as he applies a Waistlock and executes a technically sound Mat Slam before transitioning into a powerful Front Facelock. As he has control of his opponent, Maize can be heard to shout at her “This is a Champion? This is weak bullshit!” Having heard this, Starr tries to fight back and pushes herself to her feet before Maize simply overpowers her and throws Starr overhead with a vicious Vertical Suplex. Again he pins but Starr escapes at two.
Again Maize utters an arrogant and self-confident slur of “You’ve got nothing on me, Doll!” and lands a hard boot to the gut of Starr as she tries to get to her feet. The champion is put on the back foot again as Maize whips her against the ropes and confidently ducks. But on the return Starr drops to the mat and hammers a strike straight into ‘The Amazing One’s’ throat, sending him backwards. Immediately jumping to her feet, Starr grabs a reeling Maize and hits a brutal looking Shoulder Jawbreaker. The clock continues to tick down as ‘Dollface’ signals to the crowd who get behind her in an act of defiance against the arrogant newcomer to PCW.
Maize tries to climb back to his feet but Starr sets upon him with a hit-and-run combo of quick kicks and strikes that her opponent struggles to block. The quickness of the Genesis Champion is too much for the contender as she hits kick after kick until he’s stunned, then takes a short run up into a fierce and original Kneeling Reverse STO, planting Maize face first! She hooks the leg and… only a two!
The PCW Faithful jeer at the kickout but Starr keeps a focused head and tries to pull her opponent up, but as he rises he lashes out and shoves the much smaller Starr back into the ropes. On the rebound he rises quickly and executes a Snap Body Slam with a vicious twisting motion… but he doesn’t pin. Instead he wastes more time with a pointless insult, mocking a washing of his hands and muttering “Weak, bitch, just weak! Just hand me the title already!” Finally he makes a pin but Cruz only counts two before Kelli kicks out with frustrated passion.
Maize sniggers slightly as if amused by the efforts of his opponent then drags her back to her feet with impressive power. He holds the champion by her hair and the referee begins to make a five count. He reaches four when Maize releases his extremely tight grip… only to land an open handed slap straight across Starr’s face. The Faithful erupt in a sea of disgust and a swell of uncharacteristic anger passes over Starr’s normally calm face. The disrespect is evident on Maize’s face but it’s wiped off when Starr unleashes a combo of furious elbow strikes and forces him back to the ropes. The attack doesn’t stop there, at least not until Cruz reaches four and Starr backs off.
The Genesis Champion feints another big elbow, but this time as Maize braces himself she whips a lightning fast kick at his knees and drops him to the mat by the ropes. With no defence, Maize watches as Starr uses the ropes for leverage and hits a jumping stomp straight onto his sternum, followed by two more. She plays to the crowd once more, to show her strength and taunt ‘The Amazing One’ once more, but as she follows up with a Running Basement Dropkick, Maize dodges. As Kelli lands face down, Maize jumps up and lands a thumping Leg Drop directly onto her back, driving the air out of her lungs.
Before she can recover, Maize grunts “Bitch, I’m Amazing!” and grabs Starr by the head then hauls her up. He locks in a Rear Waistlock and immediately hits the first German Suplex hard. Rolling through with ease he lifts her up and hits a second with equal ease. A chorus of boos begins to rise from the crowd as Maize rolls through once more and looks to hit a third ‘Amigo’ German Suplex… but somehow Starr rolls backwards over his shoulder. The larger athlete turns, but Kelli acts instinctively and performs an effortless handstand into a Neck Scissor and brings him down with the ‘Cherry on Top’ Reverse Face Driver!
The crowd loses its shit, but even as they tell ‘Dollface’ to go for the pin, she doesn’t. Perhaps she’s blinded by her loathing of Maize as she heads to the corner instead. She begins to climb and reaches the top just as her opponent reaches his feet with extreme unease. He stumbles back into the middle of the ring and turns just as Starr launches from the top turnbuckle with a massive Double Axe Handle… but Maize catches her! Out of mid air ‘The Amazing One’ plucks Starr and twists, driver her down with an amazing, improvised Spinebuster!
Having silenced the crowd with such a crushing reversal, Maize takes a moment to compose himself and get his bearings before he sees his opponent is down. He still doesn’t pin though, instead he begins to pace across the mat and scout Starr. She begins to stir and push herself up and the grin on Maize’s face widens awkwardly. Kelli reaches her feet and turns just as Maize shouts directly at her “Kiss that title goodbye, bitch!” and runs. There’s barely a moment to react as Maize jumps and grabs Starr’s head before twisting, looking for the ‘Amazing Grace’ Tornado DDT… but Starr does, and shoves him off with all her strength! Maize lands on his chest in the middle of the ring and is stunned by the reversal. He looks up and sees Starr charging up before slamming a knee straight into his skull with a ferocious Shining Wizard!
Maize looks to be out cold as Starr climbs back to her feet slowly, blowing hard either from exhaustion or overwhelming anger. The Faithful will her to make the pin, but as she stares down at Maize, Kelli’s intentions seem as far from that as possible. Instead of pinning… she walks to the ropes. A murmur of confusion ripples through the crowd as she climbs outside and walks over to the timekeeper’s table before grabbing a steel chair.
Marcos Cruz vehemently waves his arms to discourage Starr from bringing the chair into the ring but she pays him no mind. Sliding back in, Starr looks toward Maize who is stirring and trying to push himself up. Starr’s free hand rises to her face where she felt the disrespectful slap earlier in the match and a flash of fury hits her again. As Maize lifts his head and looks up, Kelli raises the chair and… SMACK!
The chair smashes Maize directly in the face and he is destroyed by the impact! Marcos Cruz calls for the bell immediately but it doesn’t stop Starr from bringing down the chair another three times on the brutalised body of ‘The Amazing One’ with sickening strikes.
Mark Long: The winner of this match by Disqualification, and as per Genesis Title rules… the NEW PCW Genesis Champion, MAAAAAAAIZE!
The announcer’s words seems to get through to Starr, but there is no outrage or dispute about the result, as if it she perhaps knew that would be the result of her actions. But perhaps, it could be the shock of what happened. Cruz lays the Genesis Title belt over the chest of Maize while Starr looks down at him…. And drops the chair. As if in complete resignation to what has happened, ‘Dollface’ walks out of the ring with not a single word to anybody, and quietly makes her way backstage while the new Genesis Champion and the Faithful remain in a stunned silence.
Winner and NEW Genesis Champion: Maize

Q and what can only be assumed to be the same Nathan Saniti that pulled him back from the hat at Hostile Intentions, are walking down the hallway ... having a friendly conversation. Whatever they are talking about, there is a feeling of kinship between the two, as if no time has been lost nor betrayal made. Nathan stops suddenly, letting out a serious sigh as worry etches his face.
Nathan: I shouldn’t be here right now, my dear friend.
Q: Of course you should! You have a match tonight, yanno.
Nathan shakes his head.
Nathan: No. I mean, I shouldn’t be HERE in this realm and at THIS particular time.
Q looks at him Quizzically.
Q: But now you can get rid of that impostor and we can get back to what we started OUT doing!
Nathan: I’m afraid it’s far more complicated than that. With both myself and THAT Nathan Saniti existing in this world at the same time, we’ve created a paradox. See?
Nathan points down the hallway to where a rather large blonde-haired lady in a flowery dress is chatting with happily with a tall, lanky man in overalls. She’s stuffing a doughnut in her face with one hand whilst holding onto a pair of leashes ending in two dachshunds, snuffing the floor for sugary crumbs. Q just blinks happily and shrugs his shoulders.
Q: WEENIE DOGS!
Nathan: Look closer.
Q sQuints his eyes for a closer look. The dogs he mistook for being separate individuals are actually conjoined at the waist. The leashes aren’t made of nylon, but live snakes, and the doughnut she is greedily munching is actually … well, okay it’s a doughnut, but it’s from a local gas station and not any place GOOD.
*EEEEEEEP!*
Nathan: See? A Paradox. And that’s just the beginning. We simply MUST get the other Nathan to his proper world before this world, his world, and mine all converge. Should that happen, I believe most humans will go entirely insane. If they survive.
The two resume their stroll down the hallway. Q begins to see small things around them seem to flutter and warp slightly as they pass, almost akin to the glimmer off of a paved road on a hot day, just enough to make one question what they’ve seen. As they pass a dark, narrow empty space, Q, distracted by the sights never notices the hand that yanked Nathan into the darkness and a second later re-emerge by his side. They continue to casually meander away, Q still seemingly unaware.
Q: Welp … Let’s go find the guy and give him a good talking-to.
Nathan: I couldn’t agree more.

Match Two
Triple Threat Match
High Tide vs. Jule 'The Wasp' Martin vs. Nathan Saniti
Referee: Steve Shaw
“White Rabbit,” By Collide begins to thrum through the speakers. The crowd shoots to their feet in cheers as a column of green smoke begins to rise at the top of the ramp, yet no Saniti. Just then, “Circus Envy,” by R.E.M. interrupts the music, its harsh guitar causing the cheers to switch to jeers from the audience. Purple smoke begins to billow in place of the green. The music changes again back to “White Rabbit,” then back to “Circus Envy” as if the two theme songs are battling it out on their own, the colored plumes joining on the fun. The audience seems utterly confused as to WHICH Saniti will emerge. Without warning, a line of pyrotechnics runs down the ramp, ending at the ring. Nathan Saniti appears with that final flash, doffing his hat and bowing to the audience.
‘You are a Pirate’ by Alestorm interrupts Nathan’s grandiose acknowledgment of the crowd and with lighting and effects that simulate lightning, High Tide (in a pirate outfit) walks down the ramp slightly crouched over. Almost as if he were sitting. He holds a large pirate flag in one hand, and in the other he is imitating steering a ship. He does this until he gets to the ring where he motions dropping and anchor and proceeds to hop on to the turnbuckle and dive headfirst over the ropes, rolling into a standing position. Then he climbs the nearest turnbuckle and pulls out a spyglass, looking around at the audience. He mimics loading a cannon and as he motions firing it, he jumps off the turnbuckle into the ring (to imitate recoil) as fireworks shoot from all four turnbuckles.
As Tide lands on the canvas, the sounds of Guns n’ Roses ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ hits. He walks tall and quickly and motions for the fans to get even louder, even though they are booing. He hops over the ropes and goes straight to a corner and climbs the turnbuckle and gives the fans the finger, as the booing has reached a deafening level. Moving over to Tide, he shakes the man’s hand and smiles as he casually glances over at Nathan ... who seems completely unaware or unconcerned that they are tag team icons in PCW and this may be a long night for him.
The bell rings and we’re underway!
No sooner does the bell ring than the Freebooters are off like a cannonball shot, straight across the ring towards N. Saniti. A two on one beatdown ensues, leaving Saniti flat on the mat and struggling to really get out of the starting blocks. The Freebooters tag team prowess on display for all to see, the crowd lets loose a torrent of boos that do seemingly nothing to dissuade the pair. The oddest cat in the land on the business end of a well executed plan of attack, he does his best to try and fight off the pair.
IN FACT, for a moment it looks as though Saniti is on the verge of a rally ... nailing Tide with a huge open hand slap and taking Wasp down with a double leg takedown. Tide staggering back at the force of the blow, Saniti is all over Wasp. Heavy punches from Saniti, he gets in several unanswered shots before Tide is back on top of things with a beautiful diving knee that levels Saniti. Wasp recovering from the sudden blitzkrieg, Tide takes the opportunity to go for a quick pinfall attempt ...
... that is broken up at two by a boot from the still prone Wasp.
Tide popping to his feet quickly, Wasp meets him there to discuss the next course of action. Tide, as you can imagine, is NONE too happy about being cost the chance at a victory by his compatriot. A heated discussion ensues and builds to its’ inevitable conclusion: a stiff shove by Wasp to Tide. Tide responds with a shove of his own .. right into a recovering Saniti who rolls up Wasp beautifully!
A quick one count and Wasp is free, but Saniti has spotted his opening and takes it for all he can ... rushing Tide and forcing him back into the nearest corner. Body shots and head shots, knees and punches. He’s got Tide on the ropes, literally ... as he drags Tide down the ropes, raking his eyes on the top strand. A painful friction burn, Tide is momentarily blinded as Saniti rushes Wasp who is already on the way to save this quickly spiraling match.
Wasp and Saniti now duking it out in the middle of the ring, Wasp manages to dodge an errant haymaker and thrusts a knee into the gut of Saniti. Saniti doubling over, Wasp hooks him in and goes for a powerbomb! Getting Nathan onto his shoulders, Saniti isn’t going down without a fight! He’s raining down punches onto Wasp when from behind ... a SPRINGBOARD Jumping Heel Kick to the back from High Tide! The impact halting Saniti’s bid for freedom, the strike has the added effect of forcing the momentum back and Nathan hits the mat face first with Wasp dropping him in a reverse powerbomb flapjack type maneuver. The crowd winces as Nathan instinctively rolls towards the ropes.
Tide the first to his feet, he presses the attack and begins to go after Saniti ... but Wasp is of the same mindset and is going for the kill himself! The two jockeying for the chance at the wounded Nathan, it devolves into a fist fight in the middle of the ring between the tag team partners. The confrontation in the middle of the ring taking the heat off of Saniti for the time being, the crowd finds themselves drawn to Saniti recovering on the apron. The crowd’s attention split, half focusing on the brawling partners ... the other half focusing on Q emerging from the backstage area with Nathan in tow?!
The two coming down to the ring, Q is the first to hit the ringside area ... grabbing N. Saniti by the arm and pulling him from the ring. Locking in a shoulder lock, he smiles and nods at the other Nathan who has gotten to the ring to help take care of the situation. Q beginning to lead N. Saniti up the ramp, Nathan is following behind ... that is until Wasp grabs ahold of Nathan by the hair from the other side of the ropes! Nathan attempting to free himself from the sudden attack, he pushes himself up onto the apron and reaches behind him. Grabbing Wasp’s head, he begins to violently shake the man’s head. Shaken Baby Syndrome! Wasp is helpless at the balance-attacking maneuver and is only released after he is thoroughly shaken and dizzy.
Nathan climbing into the ring, he grabs Wasp and hurls him through the ropes to the outside. Tide rushing in to salvage the match, Nathan ducks to the side and hooks the arms into a backslide pinning position, but hops up and OVER the Rated Arrrrr Superstar and lands a BEAUTIFUL double arm DDT! The crowd on their feet, Wasp joins them as he staggers into the ring ... still feeling the effects of the vertigo-inducing attack from Saniti. Saniti goes for the cover on Tide! One ... Two ... Wasp staggers to the pair and -- THREE! Breaks up the pin a split second too late!
Winner: Nathan Saniti
Saniti rolling off of Tide, Wasp is quick to jump Saniti ... holding him at bay and preventing him from leaving the ring. This is NOT how it was supposed to go for the Freebooters. And they WILL have the victory one way or another. Wasp and Saniti going at it in the ring, the crowd gasps as out from the back comes ... Rick Majors! Everyone is well aware of Majors’ and the Freebooters recent loose association ... but for god’s sakes, he can’t watch as the Freebooters dismantle Nathan Saniti!
Tide having joined in on the attack, it isn’t long before deja vu from the beginning of the match sets in ... a two on one beatdown. Majors hits the ring and the Freebooters hesitate for a split second, watching as Majors ... dashes across the ring and nails a HUGE lariat on Nathan Saniti! A three-on-one beatdown! The crowd is booing heavily as the three men go to town on the oddest cat in the land ... working him over relentlessly. It’s getting almost too much to watch as the crowd lets out a HUGE cheer! A sudden POP as Q races to the ring! He’s in through the bottom rope in a flash!
Q literally throwing himself at the three attackers, he bowls them over with the force of momentum. Dropping them with a beautiful cross body block, the initial saving part is going pretty well until he comes to face the horrible, horrible truth: it’s still three-on-two. The crowd boos as The Freebooters and Majors begin to get the upper hand on Q now. Beating the Single Letter Superstar mercilessly, his last viable action being to drape himself across the downed Nathan Saniti. He’s shielding the man with his own body.
The beatdown seeming to wind down, not for their desire to stop but only because security is on the way to the ring. Majors and the Freebooters high-tailing it from the ring, the trio escapes through the crowd while security and ringside officials begin to check on the fallen Q and Nathan Saniti as we go to commercial.
