Welcome, one and all to Trauma 157 ...
THE ICEY AWARDS!
We’re in for a star-studded event here tonight, with two very special matches that many clamored for. Fresh off the heels of Living a Legacy VI, we got an awards show that promises to offer something for EVERYONE. The intriguing question of ‘What If?’. That question will be answered here tonight. Live in the Peace Center, we’ll be seeing the winner of the 2014 Icemann Invitational and North American Champion Murdoc take on the ‘Underground Icon’ Cory Steel! And that’s not all. We also have up-and-coming PCW sensation Stacy Jones take on Eira in a FIRST BLOOD MATCH. The stakes are high, the pressure is through the roof! Let’s kick it down for our host of the evening ...
****
... Jerry Andrews!
The straight-laced play-by-play man is looking ... still rather straight laced. But for a good reason. It’s a gala event and all the stars are out in full force and shining as brightly as possible. All the members of Pure Class Wrestling (with one or two notable exceptions) are in attendance for the festivities and of course, the best and brightest on Tinsel-Town. The last of the celebrities are filing into the building to make it to their seats; god forbid they miss anything. There’s no telling WHAT will happen at the Icey Awards! Coming off the heels of January’s explosive Icey Awards broadcast, it’s safe to say that we’re in for some serious shiz.
‘Is this thing on ... ?’ Jerry taps the microphone once or twice, muttering something to the production crew before returning his gaze to the camera. ‘Ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME to the PCW Icey Awards! I’m your host, Jerry Andrews and we’re LIVE for all the Pure Class action that you’ve come to know and love. We have all your Pure Class talent in the building, some possible surprises and who knows what else! But first, before we officially kick things off with our first award, let’s take a look at the blue carpet earlier this evening and some of the notables in attendance!’
****
We go to a tape from earlier in the evening where we have Shane Dodge on the blue carpet. 'Welcome to the Iceys Pre-Show! I’m PCW’s favorite interviewer, Shane Dodge ...’ Insert a bleached white smile, almost like a forced glamour shot. '... and we’re here getting some primo words with some VERY esteemed guests in attendance here tonight. Let’s get one, shall we?’
Famous last words, indeed.
The first clip: Dodge attempting to get a word with Hollywood big-shot Chris Evans. Shot down like the plane that Bucky Barnes rode.
The next: a futile attempt to coax Salma Hayek into a quick sound byte. No Golden Globes for you, old chap.
And still another: up-and-coming Australian rap sensation Iggy Azalea ... not Fancy-ing a chat.
Several clips. Not one shred of usable footage.
‘ ... let’s go inside to start the awards show!
...
Cut camera. Or so he thinks.
... bunch of stuck up, talentless hacks who couldn‘t lace up their own boots without a nanny to say it‘s Prada ...’

Most Hated Award
Presenter: Gwyneth Paltrow
Past Winners: The Untouchables; Non Compos Mentis; Jason Willard; Justin Michaels; AWAssholes; Areas; Marshall’s Law
We’re back inside the Peace Center where a round of applause (and boos) ring out as Gwyneth Paltrow takes the stage to present the evening’s first award, that of PCW’ Most Hated Superstar. The lovely Hollywood A-lister takes the stage and launches straight into a very humble, very P.R. friendly introduction. Speaking on love and hate and how it’s so easy to be hated after the media gets their interviews, how perception can be slanted with just the tiniest piece of information withheld from the facts ... how things get SO easily twisted.
And the nominees:
Murdoc
whitey
Mr. Showtime
Non Compos Mentis
Nathan Saniti
As she prepares to announce the winner, the microphone cuts out momentarily ... long enough for a recorded clip of Gwyneth Paltrow speaking.
“I’d rather die than let my kids eat Cup-a-Soup." and “I know people that I respect and admire and look up to who have had extra-marital affairs." The crowd is chuckling a bit. A good majority of them are disgusted with her words, some celebrities in attendance nodding in agreement (though few and far between). Gwyneth looks as though someone has dropped their trousers right in front of her. She’s angrily yelling off-stage, demanding to A: have the audio cut and B: find out who decided to ruin her lovely introduction speech.
Whitey Ford. Who the fuck else right?
The camera pans over along with a spotlight to catch him mucking around at the soundboard, directing an audio tech to do his bidding. He smiles and waves gleefully, having the luxury of possessing his own microphone. He nods and looks at the audience. ‘I’ll let you decide who’s the bigger Asshole. They told me I won this thing, but I’m not going on that stage to claim it. By the way, I fucking like Ramen. Now everyone cheer me and boo her for those things she said. I’m pretty sure she hates children and small puppies too. Me. Most Hated. Pft.’
With that, Whitey Ford wins PCW’s Most Hated Award as he tosses the microphone into the crowd ...
Winner: Whitey Ford with 66% of the Vote (Runner Up: Murdoc with 26%)

... and we’re back to Shane Dodge.
Now live and still very much alone.
Lot of hated people tonight.
Buck up, Shane.

Most Loved Award
Presenter: David Beckham
Past Winners: Angelica Night-Hunter; Lantlas; Pegasus; Nacho Grande (x3); Q; Kelli Starr
Welcome back to the stage where David Beckham stands proudly on the stage. The face that launched a thousand ad campaigns. One of the world’s most beloved futbol stars ... hell, one of the most popular ATHLETES in the world bar none. He stands on the stage looking absolutely suave in a classy black suit. Being loved is not about the love you receive, he begins slowly. Being loved is about the love you GIVE. The recipient of this award is someone who gives their all one hundred percent of the time. All of their sweat. All of their heart. Every last bit of it. In that ring or out, the winner of this award can truly say that their HEART is what keeps them going.
Here are your nominees.
Andy D
Dollface
Grimm
Stormm
Loki
And the winner is ...
... ANDY D!
The crowd cheers in recognition of the young man. His never-say-die attitude and the way he holds his head up high at every turn of the road. Andy takes the stage and is silent for a long time. He looks up from his award with a tear in his eye. He thanks everyone for coming out on such a special night and that David hit the nail directly on the head. That being loved is about giving, not receiving. The fans are worth every last bit of that and he aims to prove every single time he steps into the ring.
A final thank you and a gesture towards the ceiling cements Andy D as this Icey’s ‘Most Loved’.
Winner: Andy D with 56% of the vote (Runner-up: Kelli Starr with 33%)

We’re now LIVE on the Blue Carpet outside the Peace Center with Shane Dodge. He’s smiling extra-wide into the camera and all the homes across the country. ‘I’m standing outside the building here tonight and I’ve gotten word that a MAJOR A-lister wants ME to give them a good grilling. Well never let it be said that the NUMBER ONE Pure Class reporter is selected for this.’ Shane straightens his tie authoritatively. ‘Who is it? Jolie? Aniston? Fox?’ Shane smiles ... and everyone gets to see Shane’s proud moment dropped from the heavens back to earth as Rupaul saunters into the camera’s view looking absolutely amazing.
Maybe not quite the A-lister that Shane imagined.
His face is noticeably dejected as he turns and walks out of camera range, tossing the microphone behind him over the shoulder as we go to our first commercial break.
