Promise of Things To Come
Murdoc is walking towards his dressing room. As he rounds the corner, he sees Nathan Saniti standing at his locker room door, as stately as ever, a severe look on his face.
Nathan: AH! There you are, Mr. Murdoc…
Murdoc attempts to edge Nathan out of his way without a word, but the mystical madman doesn’t budge, arousing the larger man’s ire.
Nathan: I realize that you’re of no mindset for company, especially mine, but I implore you to hear me out. Afterwards, if you still wish to hurt me, then I shall accept my punishment accordingly.
Nathan takes a deep, troubled breath.
Nathan: I know things didn’t go exactly swimmingly at Return to Glory, good sir. If I could, I’d ask you the favor of giving Miss Eira my sincerest well wishes for a full, speedy recovery. We did our best to…
Murdoc lurches forward, grasping Nathan by the throat and pinning him against the wall, lifting him off of his feet. Nathan still manages to choke out some words through Murdoc’s powerful grip.
Nathan: ... you ... want your revenge? I have an I-IDEA ... -sputter-
Murdoc reluctantly relinquishes the hold, Nathan sliding down the wall, holding his voice box.
Nathan: As I was saying, if it’s any consolation, I’d also like to offer my services to aid you in ridding our intrepid PCW of the Black Hand once and for all. I feel simply horrid for the way your beloved was treated and I wish to make amends. I know forgiveness is not in your nature, particularly at this point, but I need you to know I’m putting forth the effort.
Murdoc shoves past Nathan, slamming the door to his locker room in his face. Nathan stares at the door for a few seconds, flabbergasted, but then he straightens himself out, dusts himself off, and smiles his unsettlingly detached grin before calmly strolling down the hallway as if nothing happened.
Nathan (to himself): And if you lay your hands on me again, good sir, you shall know the severity of your mistake.

Singles Match
Gem vs Justin “Stormm” Michaels
Referee: Joseph Buckland
Buckland steps forward to give his instructions and calls for the bell, Gem darting forward to seize the early advantage. She fires off a few quick, closed-fist jabs into the side of Stormm's head before laying in a trio of chops - clearly in no mood to play around. Stormm rallies quickly, hammering Gem down to the mat with a clothesline before making with a quick pinfall.
...1!
...2!
- Gem gets the shoulder up just after two! Hauling the Underground Queen up off the mat by the hair, Stormm snaps Gem to the mat with a businesslike belly-to-back suplex, but again doesn't go for the pin, almost as though he’s trying to make a point to the young competitor. Or her mentor Loki. Or possibly a warning to Tha Joka. Or maybe just a suplex, who knows?
Again Stormm moves to drag Gem to her feet - but he’s met with a vicious knee lift! The impact lifts Stormm momentarily off the canvas, Gem following up with an elbow shot to the temple and sending him staggering towards the ropes. As he attempts to catch his breath, Gem backs away herself to create some distance and breathing room. The two clash in the center once more, Gem ducking under a powerful haymaker and making a couple shots at his kidneys! Win or lose, she seems hellbent on Stormm taking a few souvenirs home from the match; even if that souvenir is spending the Trauma afterparty urinating blood.
Another scuffle in the center, Stormm getting a couple of solid hits in to send Gem reeling, the smaller competitor keeping it together just enough to launch herself at Stormm in a haphazard dropkick!
Haphazard, but effective. She rolls to her feet, clearly scouting Stormm for a setup as he pushes his slower way up until he reaches a knee. Gem wastes no time in firing off a series of quick kicks and direct strikes, jabbing at every part of his body; even the ring savvy North American champ could do no more than block some of the unending stream of strikes! The attack finally ceases as Gem backs a few paces away to let Stormm gain a vertical base - and no sooner does he rise than she darts behind him and puts her remaining force into COLD! The precision kick snaps forward and connects with the back of Stormm’s, knocking him into a groggy heap on the mat, Gem dropping an elbow on him as she goes down to make the pin.

Winner: Gem via Pinfall
Joseph Buckland raises Gem’s hand as the winner while Stormm makes his way to the back, tossing an odd wave here or there to the fans. An exhausted but satisfied Gem steps through the ropes and is met ringside by a proud-looking Loki! The young woman stands tall, having proven herself as much more than just the Underground’s darling with her win against Pure Class Wrestling’s North American Champion!
Suddenly ...
Underground Rising!
“Gem!”
The sonorous voice sounds out through the PCW loudspeakers, Gem and Loki halting in place while even Stormm slows his trek to the backstage area to see what’s going on.
“Congratulations on your win, young lady.”
On stage appears none other than Frank Foley! Mr. Foley strides down the ramp, microphone in hand, a professionally warm smile on his face. Gem regards him with a blend of curiosity and suspicion while Loki manages to be more reserved. Stormm himself manages a stoic sort of skeptical interest, all three stopped in their tracks to hear what the Authority Figure has to say.
“You entered PCW as a young unknown, and after finding your stride you have been all but UNSTOPPABLE.”
Foley pauses for the cheers to die down before he raises the mic to his lips again.
“With that said, I’m nothing if not fair - Stormm didn’t do badly for himself tonight.”
The crowd pops again for the perennial superstar, Stormm raising a hand in acknowledgment of the cheers.
“So, for PCW, for the FANS, I’ve come up with a plan. I am stripping you of the Underground belt, effective immediately.” Gem’s cheeks flush an angry red, Loki clenching his jaw and the fans making their disapproval known - at volume. Foley raises a hand to quiet the crowd, attempting to speak. ”Only to make -” The crowd still noisy, the Authority Figure takes a deeper breath, his voice carrying out over the sound system ”ONLY TO MAKE YOU, Gem, the number one contender for the Pure Class Wrestling North American Championship!”
The roof comes unglued, a slow, speculative look crossing Stormm’s face and a pleased, if shocked expression overtakes the formerly icy Gem.
”Stormm here wanted his contender named prompt-like, and I aim to keep my employees happy. Happy employees do spectacular work, and spectacular work means RATINGS. Two birds with one stone, move a prodigal talent to a different circle of the company, and revitalize the Underground division by giving EVERYONE a chance to win!”
More cheers, Foley waiting for only a moment before continuing to speak. “This next Trauma will be special. In deference to the festive season, it will be Trauma: All Hallow’s Eve! The Underground division will hold an elimination match, the final two contestants of which will then face off at the upcoming Pay-Per-View Deadly Intentions 5 to win the Underground Championship!”
”I’m here for one thing - the company. Business is good and it’s only going to get better with these INCREDIBLE talents we have to work with! I’ll leave you to your night, and the next match!”
With that, Frank Foley exits the stage area, Stormm disappearing behind the curtain not long after while Gem and Loki follow up the ramp.

Match Six
Singles Match
Whitey Ford (World Champion) vs Mystery Opponent by Order of Frank Foley
Referee: Manny Cruz
We're back from commercial as “Bad Man” by Bobaflex hits, signaling the arrival of the PCW World Champion, Whitey Ford. He's received very unkindly by the PCW Faithful as he emerges from the back with arms outstretched, the title around his waist and a smirk on his face. Some of the more vocal fans tell him what they think of him, and Whitey returns the favor while en route to the squared-circle. Inside the ring, Ford hops to the second turnbuckle and raises his belt high in the air with one hand when suddenly his music cuts out. Caught off guard, Whitey turns his attention to the entrance.
The fans wait in anticipation. Who could it be? “The Elven Warrior” Lantlas? Ace Anderson? Mike Park(who?)?! Seconds pass before a well-kempt man in a black suit emerges from the back. His eyes are hidden behind sleek, black sunglasses and his hair is combed to one side. His face is expressionless as he walks to the ring, no entrance music or nothin'. Once inside the ring, Manny calls for the bell and this one's underway. Whitey is a bit confused, as are the fans. Is this one of Foley's bodyguards? A businessman? Maybe Agent Smith? Regardless, Whitey puts up his dukes for a fight. The black-clad man does the same...right after an impressive martial arts display, complete with impressive roundhouse kicks and lightning fast punches. Not to be outdone, Whitey raises two middle fingers before motioning for the mystery man to “bring it.”
The man obliges, battering Whitey with some impressive looking offensive. Punches, kicks, and you name it...all with his sunglasses on. Whitey weathers the storm and sneaks in a stiff headbutt, cracking the lens of said sunglasses. Staggered backwards, the man in black grits his teeth and charges! Ford sidesteps and shoves him into the ropes. The mystery man rebounds and Whitey ducks a clothesline. The suited man hits the opposite side while Ford quickly hits the adjacent set of ropes. Both men rebound simultaneously and Ford absolutely destroys him from the side with a filthy Rehab Spear! If the PCW Faithful had X-Ray vision, they probably would have seen four or five ribs snapping in two! The force is so brutal that the man is sent rolling out of the ring to the arena floor. He's not moving, and Manny Cruz starts the mandatory ten-count. Good luck with that. Ford waits calmly propped in a corner...but another man in black is on his way down to the ring!
As soon as Man in Black #2 enters the ring, Ford is on him! A knee to the back of the head is followed up by a DDT, and the well-dressed man is seeing stars. Not finished, Whitey uses his 6'3” 245 lbs. frame to smash the man with a Diving Senton. Pancake! As Whitey gets back to his feet, two more of the black suited men have appeared! The first is knocked SILLY with a stiff kick to the side of the head as he enters the ring! Man in Black #4 jumps Whitey from behind, but the Asshole reacts quickly with a mule kick to the gentleman vegetables! Ouch. Hefting the man overhead in a hanging position, he plants him with the Backtoss Piledriver! And here come three more!
Ford looks on in disbelief as he's set upon by all three black suits at once! Whitey fends them off as best he can, but three-on-one is a losing battle...until Ford punches one man in the throat. Another takes a punt to the crotch while the third receives a thumb in each eye socket! Four more are on their way down the aisle, but Whitey ain't goin' nowhere! Mr. Thumbs-in-Eyeballs gets planted with the Wasted-Land as two the four men climb onto the ring apron. Where in the hell are they coming from?! The two non-incapacitated goons in the ring are regrouping as the other four enter. Whitey charges with fists flying and the battle rages one! One of the men is hurled unceremoniously over the top rope while another takes the Hangover from Hell! But the troops are relentless! It isn't until one of the men produces a taser and another brandishes a pair of handcuffs that Whitey wisely decides to bail out of the ring. The Men in Black watch from the ring as Whitey snags his belt and hops the guardrail. Pointing to his temple, he exits through the crowd having left motionless bodies strewn about the ringside area. Somewhere in the midst of all the turmoil, Manny must have called for the bell.
Winner: Whitey Ford via Count Out
Doppleganger I Love You
It’s about time for our main event to start ...
... and out comes Cory Steel, to a rather mixed reaction. Lately he’s been tearing up the Underground scene but his vocal support of the Black Hand has done him no favors. Close behind him, the music changes and out comes the Black Hand ... in unison and confident as can be. As they make it to the ring, they have literally NO time to prepare before ...
"White Rabbit," by Collide blares over the P.A. system, bringing the crowd to their feet! The Black Hand and Cory Steel all glare at the top of the ramp hungrily, yet Nathan Saniti doesn't appear. Instead, a line of twelve rabbits begin hopping down to the ring, surrounding the structure. As the last creature takes its position, the Jumbo-tron pops to life with Nathan Saniti gracing the full screen.
Nathan: Why send good men and women to do a job even a woodland creature could achieve?
Nathan smiles, allowing the crowd to enjoy the moment.
Nathan: You see, gentlemen... And Mr. Sadistic... I believe it's quite time to show you just exactly who it is you're dealing with.
As he says that, purple smoke begins to envelope the critters, billowing upwards and upwards until the columns of smoke reach human (and Murdoc) height.
Mindless Self Indulgence's "Prescription" begins over the loudspeakers. The peanut gallery eats it up! As the words "Doctor," and "Patient" appear, three of the smokey clouds become THREE KELLI STARRs! The Hand, primarily Sadistic look intrigued and perhaps a bit anxious.
"Are You not Entertained," by Dot Rotten takes over the airwaves. The Audience roars its approval! As the songs plays out, three of the columns of smoke clear up to reveal not one or two, but THREE ANDY Ds? The Collective in the ring look around, a bit jangled, but not too worried.
"White Rabbit" strikes up once again, as three more of the pillars dissolve into three matching Sanitis! The opponents nerves begin to unravel a bit as they assess the situation surrounding them.
"Xerxes," by Audiomachine shatters the speaker system and the final three pillars explode into walls of flame, morphing into three Murdocs! The twelve revealed illusions all hop up on the apron simultaneously. The Black Hand and their wannabe enforcer circle back to back, not knowing what to expect, not knowing which are the real competitors. Each apparition begins to enter the ring in unison. As they all gain entry, they charge, disappearing in a single puff just as they reach the jangled quartet. Each member of the Black Hand wafts at the smoke, anger clouding their eyes.
Nathan appears at the top of the ramp, a microphone in his hand.
Nathan: Had enough of the theatrics yet?
All eyes of the Black Hand glower at him, seething. Of course, with all the apparitions and smoke and misdirection ... usually that means someone is trying to sneak up on you. Especially in pro wrestling. It ALWAYS happens that way, doesn’t it? The Black Hand understands this ALL too well and begins looking around, edging towards the apron to keep an eye on as much of the crowd as they can.. Nathan readies himself to charge.
Nathan: So have we.
As Nathan races towards the ring, the Black Hand begin to capitalize on this foolish, foolish man’s mistake and bails from the ring to meet the kamikaze head-on. That is, until ... from under the ring ... HANDS! Two sets of hands begin clawing and dragging the Dillinger Brothers underneath, leaving Showtime and Steel to face the brunt of a high-impact cross body block! Steel and Showtime down, Nathan standing over them triumphantly ... the sounds of scuffling can be heard from under the ring as we go to our last commercial break of the evening!

Main Event
Eight Man Tag Team Match
The Black Hand & Cory ‘The Bear’ Steel vs. Psychdelica, Andy D & Murdoc
Referee: Some Poor Bastard (Eddie Lane)
We’re back from break and Ed Lane, that poor schmuck, has finally gotten everything under control.
For the moment, at least.
Showtime and Saniti are in the ring squaring off, but the audience’s focus is split. Half interested in the match, half wondering where Murdoc is?! We head back to the commercial break as the cameras were still rolling. Andy D and Kelli Starr emerged from under the ring firmly in control of the Dillinger Brothers, but Nathan Saniti was fighting a losing battle with Cory Steel and Michael Wryght. The Murdoc apparition being just that: a phantom. The REAL Murdoc’s last known whereabouts were at the beginning of the show and his run-in with Nathan!
Crisp and solid tag team workmanship between the Black Hand and Cory Steel, they seem content with making sure Nathan is the singled out competitor. Especially with his wild and reckless opening salvo, Nathan has been at a marked disadvantage and the Black Hand has been VERY wise to take advantage of that. Fluid tags and double-team maneuvers, The Black Hand is really showing why they’re one of the more feared groups in recent memory.
Their opponents just not seeming to be able to click well, it’s apparent that the lack of a fourth team member is really playing on their nerves.
Several minutes pass with Nathan getting the worst of the Black Hand’s wrath until ... a break! A rare misstep from Grimm leaves him throttled on the top rope and Nathan managing to get the hot tag into Kelli Starr! Kelli enters and begins clearing house! Not even waiting for a retaliatory attack from the opponents on the apron, she plugs each of them with a stiff shot or two! The Black Hand and Cory Steel retreating wisely, Psychedelica and Andy D standing tall in the ring ...
... uh-oh.
Maybe the Black Hand should turn around. For towards them, He stalks the Killing Field again. Murdoc. Sans mask and sans mercy. The crowd actually lets out a raucous cheer at the arrival of the Monster. Sadistic and his compatriots begin to back towards the ring, where Andy D is getting some SERIOUS air ... Kelli and Nathan both giving him a HUGE boost over the top rope onto the Fearsome Fist. Oop. I mean, the Black Hand. Andy sending EVERYONE sprawling, Murdoc gives a rare light-hearted moment as he casually strolls AROUND the brou-ha-ha and enters the ring via the ringside stairs. Welp. Gonna avoid THAT mess.
As Murdoc enters the ring, he stands between Kelli, Nathan and the ring ropes. His back to the throng of competitors outside the ring, he’s staring impassively at the brightly colored pair as Nathan nods knowingly at Murdoc with a smile. Murdoc stares for just a few moments and returns the nod to Nathan. The crowd cheers in great exultation ... before letting out a surprised gasp! Murdoc grabbing both Kelli and Nathan by their throat, Murdoc backs up against the ropes ... dragging the two along for the ride before ...
OVERHEAD TOSS!
Murdoc showing off incredible strength, he literally hurls both Kelli and Nathan over the top rope ... onto Andy D! The Black Hand having wisely moved away from the point of impact, they have decided that the time for retreat is now. The crowd in hushed silence as the referee dives out of the ring to check on all three competitors, it’s obvious that this match has been abandoned in favor of making sure all the competitors are all right.
Southern Draw(l)
The Black Hand and Cory Steel backpedal up the aisle, all of the competitors are gassed, beaten, and bruised after the encounter. Only Murdoc remains in the ring. His eyes are fire and brimstone as he glares at the four men. Reaching the top of the ramp, the Black Hand stand unified with their Enforcer, Cory Steel, standing in front of them with arms folded. The PCW Faithful have started to mellow as Sadistic produces a microphone. His voice is rough with a hint of Southern.)
Everyone watching at home, all of you in the crowd, and all the wrestlers in the back...they all wanna know why? Why are you doing these horrible things? What is the Black Hand? And most importantly, why are you here in PCW?
(Just the sound of the Phenom's voice is enough to make the fans boo, but they're also eerily quiet. Murdoc stands at the edge of the ring, each giant hand wrapped tightly along the top rope.)
We are the ones your grandparents told you about. We are the Chosen Ones, my Brothers and Sisters. Chosen and tasked with carrying out the will of the Black Hand. And it starts here in Pure Class Wrestling.
(The fans aren't quite sure what to make of this. Murdoc is getting annoyed in a hurry.)
But I'm afraid our reputations precede us. Now, the halls are noticeably more silent in the back. Now, children go to bed with their blankets pulled up over their heads. And now, the PCW employees walk around as if they tread eggshells. We're not here to frighten you. We're not like...him.
(Sadistic raises a finger lazily in Murdoc's direction. The accusation causes Murdoc's back to stiffen. An instrumental version of Johnny Cash's “God's Gonna Cut You Down” plays quietly in the background.)
*STOMP!* *CLAP!* *STOMP!* *CLAP!*
You wanna talk about bad people? You wanna talk about bad intentions?! Let's talk about Marcus Murdoc! A man who deals in intimidation. A man who's currency is fear! This man brutalizes people with chains and burns them alive, all in the name of malevolence! You think the Black Hand is evil?
(Where's he going with this?)
Naw, man. The Black Hand...we ain't here to scare you, and we ain't here to intimidate nobody. No, no, no... We deal in truth! Knowledge! We ain't here to shepherd the flock, man. We're here to set it free!
(Having heard enough of the Black Hand's gibberish, Murdoc steps through the ropes onto the ring apron. Sadistic raises his free hand as if to halt the monster.)
You ain't still mad about Eira, are you? Hell, you shouldn't be. What ... were you sitting in the back watching while we did as we pleased? You should thank us. You should thank us!!! We didn't end Eira's career...we set her free, man!!! She was trapped. Trapped in life, trapped in PCW, and, most importantly, she was trapped with YOU!!! So really, you should thank us.
SHE already has.'
(The crowd boos loudly at these obviously false statements, but the boos quickly turn to cheers as Murdoc drops down off the ring apron and advances on the Black Hand! Grimm, Showtime, and Sadistic prepare themselves for a fight as the monster approaches. Steel unfolds his arms and cracks his neck as the Phenom shouts encouragement into his ear. As Murdoc nears, the Black Hand casually turns and heads to the back. Just as Cory Steel and Murdoc are set to come to blows...that's all the time we have this week! We'll see you at Trauma 163!)

Psychedelica, Andy D & Murdoc vs. The Black Hand & Cory Steel ends in a no-contest
SURPRISE! Results. As you can see, a few executive changes have been made. From this point forward, results will be summarized for Trauma as they’ve been recently creeping back up in size. Hopefully, this change will help keep turnaround snappy. ALSO, by my estimation, Trauma 163 will be the go-home show before the next PPV. And since Halloween is in two days ... Trauma 163 will be a bit SPECIAL. Trauma 163: All Hallow’s Eve! Look for the card here in the next little bit. Good job everyone! Hopefully the shock of truncated results won’t take away from the dynamite packed within!
