Pure Class Wrestling would like to acknowledge some rumors and issues concerning a number of wrestling talents and their status with the Company. We are providing this statement so that the Pure Class Wrestling Faithful are fully informed.
Rumor: Pure Class Wrestling Enterprises Release Murdoc
Truth: PCW Hall of Famer Murdoc walked out of PCW as a wrestling talent following the Deadly Rumble 5 event. Murdoc was on a pay-per-appearance contract, so there is no legal ramifications for his resignation. At this time, there are no new negotiations to report. Pure Class Wrestling wishes Murdoc the best in his forthcoming provocations.
Rumor: whitey Quits Pure Class Wrestling
Truth: Following the Deadly Intentions 5 Pay-Per-View, speculation arose that Whitey Ford was quitting the Company. The reality of the situation is that members of the Whitey Ford camp insinuated that the former World Champion wanted to be released from his contract in protest of his treatment by PCW President Frank Foley. Whitey has yet to acknowledge that rumor as fact, but Pure Class Wrestling is still owed contractual dates from Mr. Ford and has not released him from contract at this time.
Rumor: John Reese Spotted at PCW Corporate Offices
Truth: This rumor can be officially confirmed as fact. John Reese, more commonly known as High Tide, was seen at Pure Class Wrestling offices during the week of Christmas 2014. High Tide was seen exiting the facility with a smile on his face and a bottle of spiced rum in hand. John's return to action is imminent.
Rumor: Non Compos Mentis is Returning to Active Competition
Truth: Sean Rhodes, or Non Compos Mentis, is to be honored at the 11th Icey Awards by being inducted into the Pure Class Wrestling Hall of Fame. NCM is not expected to be returning to action*.
Rumor: Pure Class Wrestling Enterprises Release Joka
Truth: After his attack at Deadly Intentions 5 and subsequent surrender, PCW Enterprises came to the suspension of Byron Belasko, better known by his ring name The Joka. Despite Joka's unprovoked series of attacks and the possible assault charges that can come up from those attacks, PCW Enterprises retain Tha Joka as a PCW Superstar, but has put him on administrative suspension and has fined him an undisclosed sum of money.
Truth: Technically true for the three that made appearances during the 2014 Deadly Rumble, none of those three superstars have signed back on to Pure Class Wrestling as active talents. At the time of this writing, consider them one-shot deals. Rick Majors on the other hand is currently still on leave as he works through his personal demons.
Rumor: Pegasus is Unable to Officiate Due to Injury
Truth: Unfortunately, this is one rumor we can confirm as fact. Due to the attack by Tha Joka during the 2014 Deadly Rumble, an attack that saw a barb-wired bat stick to the flesh of Pegasus's hand, Johnathan Norby has taken a leave of absence from officiating. Johnathan is expected to make a full recovery and return to officiating soon.
Rumor: Pure Class Wrestling Enterprises Release @soloman, @aura, and @tkmoney
Truth: Soloman, Aura, and T.K. Money are officially on-leave with Pure Class Wrestling. As they, like most Superstars in PCW, are on a pay-per-appearance contract, no legal ramifications are being faced. Pure Class Wrestling wishes all three Superstars a speedy return.
Rumor: Pure Class Wrestling Enterprises Release Eira
Truth: Despite her relationship with Murdoc, Eira has not resigned from Pure Class Wrestling nor has Pure Class Wrestling shown an interest in ending their contractual relationship with Eira. Eira's return to the Company was official as of Deadly Intentions 5.
