I feel like I mention this for every show feedback I give, but this guy LOVES the recaps!
Having Gem/Eira/Sadistic open the show was a nice way to hype the title match and it also helped Foley look like a corporate bastard.
Huge win for the tag team newcomers the Nobodies. Reece and Merritt looked good as they dominated the match. Does this mean PCW is gonna bring back the tag division? Reece...is Bubba related to High Tide? Crazy Boy causing the DQ allowed him to save face and CB laying out Tide should help build upon their storied history.
DAAAAAMN!!! Old school Grimm taking out LoKi with a friggin shovel! That was awesome! If I'm being completely honest, Grimm's dialogue just seemed a bit...off. Still a good segment.
Oooh...some of Saniti's magic tricks. (Illusions! Tricks are something whores do for money.) Illusions. This was a very well written segment(not by me) as was the segment later in the show that portrayed all characters perfectly.
Looks like we have a nice feud brewing with Grimm and LoKi. That'll be entertaining for sure.
Wryght vs. Archer and Michaels vs. Michaelson were good technical matches that really built towards the showdown between Showtime and Stormm at LaL. Hopefully we'll get a masterpiece.
The 10 Questions with Eira was awesome and she did an awesome job of hyping this feud and our upcoming match. After reading this as well as some of our RPs over the past couple months you can get a real legitimate feeling of tension and animosity between us...and I LOVE it! Gem has already brought her A game for the match and I know Eira and Sadistic will bring theirs. Is Brochamp even around anymore, or has this turned into some kind of running joke?
I touched on it earlier, but the I always enjoy the interactions between Starr and Saniti. They're always written exquisitely and their personalities really shine through.
Alexa is up to her crazy shenanigans again. Oh! Brochamp will compete? Should be interesting. As well as half of the roster! Good segment. Thank you, Orin Boyd, for being able to calm that crazy lady.
Favorite segment of the night without question: Joka and Saniti. From Joka popping out like a jack in the box to the DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO to the back and forth slaps and the BAWLS kick, this segment did a wonderful job of hilariously meshing OOC funnies with PCW relevance. The alliteration at the end was a nice touch. Loved it.
LoKi vs. NCM was my favorite match of the night. The action flowed seamlessly and was a joy to read. Selling the attack on LoKi earlier in the night gave Mentis a big win without LoKi looking weak...even though he is!(Pelvic thrusts FTW!)
Ooh. Some good character building between Alexa and Orin and the introduction of a new bodyguard! Please don't kill them at the PPV.
Only qualm with this segment is using history or happenings from previous feds as if they are common knowledge. I'd liked to have seen a bit more explanation on the situation as I imagine the average viewer would be lost at that point. Or maybe it was just ME that was lost...
The five person cluster of a match was handled very well. Steel being used as a floor was funny. The Grimm Cam was awesome! To hell with those fat, slow cameramen!!! This match was all over the place with badass action. We have a little outside interference to help promote some feuds, which was nice. I'll be brutally honest: I hated the outcome of this match. To have it end in a no contest did a disservice to the two handlers that actually RPed for the match. I would have really liked to see a winner between Grimm and Gem, but what can you do?
Solid hype segment for Living a Legacy. The ladder match will be crazy nuts. Alexa might get suspended...
Still love Joka's entrance! Awesome back and forth action in this match. The dynamic between Saniti and Starr was portrayed perfectly with Saniti not wanting to harm her. Should make their match at LaL very interesting. Thank you, Kelli, for pulling that one out for the team.
And all hell breaks loose! A lot of prominent feuds get some valuable airtime as Trauma goes off the air. Excellent way to end the show leading into the PPV.
While it was hard to live up to the previous Trauma, this edition held it's own in my opinion. I enjoyed the heavy dose of segments and thought that they really helped prime the feuds for the PPV matches. Great show. Ready for Living a Legacy!
