I loved how the show opened. The winner wasn't in doubt, as Braddock had a legit excuse and the other two no showed. Regardless it was a good victory for Bubba and the match itself was another entertaining read for a highly entertaining division.
I enjoyed the living heck out of Saniti-Showtime. Especially because the alignments felt switched. The DQ was a surprise, but works. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with the tag match on this upcoming Trauma...
I don't remember much about the card games previously, if at all. Was I around for it before?? Either way, that segment was fun. Sadistic-Jury was very interesting. I wonder if that'll have any implications for the tag tourney final.
And now we have the first tourney match. First, congrats to Judge and Jury on the victory. You guys deserved it. I'll be really interested in the match against Revelation at T181. Ok. So what exactly happened? I'll try to be brief.
*2012: When TUHA split the first time, it was a plan between us as retirement was coming. For my part, I had some things falling apart in my life that was going to make it impossible at the time to continue fedding. We had always discussed facing each other, so the idea was hatched. I would turn and antagonize. I made the decision to lose that match (not just because I was retiring, but as a fan of the old days of wrestling, the heel got what was coming to them). But I'm happy to be back here and really lucky to have worked with a lot of you since.
*Trauma 180: Turning heel was my idea. The post match attack was not. I'll come up with some reason the next time I RP (I have an idea in mind), but it caught me by surprise. The segment was a follow up to what I hinted in my RP, the News and Rumors bit and what I submitted for Pulse. I have never been a singles wrestler (as The Anarchist) in PCW. The last time I was (with this character)...I think it was 02? 03? I honestly don't remember lol it's been quite a long time, put it that way. But I don't want to make a big deal out of this. If I fail, then I fail. Only time will tell how I do.
Anyway, onto the next match!
I don't know who wrote the match, but I forgot to mention this in my initial feedback:
Jerry Andrews: There is quite the contrast in styles here, Ace. Crazy Boy is, well, a crazy aerialist. And Alexa is a psychopathic powerhouse. Stormm is a technical monster and Grimm is just a monster in general.
Nicely done!
Congrats to Revelation for their victory. Like I mentioned, I'm highly intrigued by the match with
Judge and Jury The Saints. As to the one with Crazy Power, it was good. The knee from Grimm had to have been a vicious one from HELL to put down Alexa the way it did. I think I cringed when I read the description of it, but it was a neat spot. Kudos guys.
The Underground title match was fun. Yukio looked good in the environment, which is a plus because he'll be in it again this week. Nice win by Wasp, and you can count the time down until Judge comes knocking on the rematch door.
I don't know what to say about the ME. I guess the best thing I can say, is I'm looking forward to the Kaard-NCM series of matches. That should be VERY entertaining, as both are really talented writers.
The show was great (both writing and content wise) and as its been said, there is a lot to look forward to going into 181 (and beyond).
