Hiroshi heads though the curtain post Trauma having won a hard fought victory against Warywk at Trauma 207. His body though tired and sore was also still feeling the rush of competition adrenaline and he was feeling good.
He was caught off guard by the Irish fighter, whom he noted was quite a talented striker. More than once Hiroshi found himself stuck hard and stunned. It was a back and forth battle with both competitors tying to control the tempo and the match.
Unfortunately for Warwyk, the Irishman had not counted on Hiroshi being agile and quick thinking. He assumed he was slow and fat and couldn't get around that was where Hiroshi took control. As soon Warywk hit the ropes Hiroshi quickly countered and planted him. Then he quickly followed up and got the win.
Walking slowly he walks past the backstage staff who smile and nod politely at him. He sees his fellow PCW wrestlers milling around but they are in their own world and don't pay him much mind.
Coming to a door he pushes it open and enters his dressing room.
It is a moderately decorated place with a strong Japanese influence.
Clean and uncluttered, holding tightly to balance, order, ancient customs and a love for natural beauty.
Traditional Japanese plants, such as bonsai and bamboo can be found. In the corner an Ofuro or Japanese soaking tub can be seen bubbling away.
The Walls, doors, screen grids and frames are all made of natural wood as is Japanese style. the entryway has a shelf or cabinet called a getabako that is used for storing shoes.
He removes his sandals and puts them carefully on the shelf.
He walks past a low plank table with floor cushions—this is as he would dine back home. On the table is a selection of Japanese foods including those from his home of Yokohama such as garlic chicken with vegetables and Yokohama tempura as well as 2 bottles of saki.
He smiles when he sees this as he has worked up quite and appetite after his match. He sits down and crosses his legs in front of the table
Putting both of his hands on his chest he speaks
"itadakimasu" (I humbly receive this)
The bowl of rice he is eating is picked up with his left hand and he uses his chopsticks with his right hand before using them to place some garlic chicken in the bowl.
He hungrily polishes that off then starts on the tempura which looks like tiny between his sausage size fingers.
It doesn't take long and soon all the dishes on the table are empty and Hiroshi is satisfied. He places the chopsticks laid down in front of him with the tip to the left.
Having completed his meal he sits comfortably and relaxes as he lets his meal digest.
As he does he hears a "bing" from his phone and he rises to his full mountainous size and walks over to a nearby chair where his mobile sits. He collects it and opens the phone with a swipe of his finger.
He taps to open his messages and finds a message from PCW management.
Dear Mr Yukio
Congratulations on your win at Trauma 207.
We were pleased upon hearing your decision to return to work with us and after giving you time to recover from your injuries you have come back and given the fans quite a show.
We hope you can continue this momentum as you have a match next week involving you and Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith taking on the team of PCW's resident pirate High Tide and his partner the man you faced in one on one action last week Warwyk. It will be the opening match for Trauma 208 and we hope you will bring your best.
Sincerely
PCW Management.
He smiles and puts the phone down on the chair before sinking into it with a sigh. He knew what was ahead was an unexpected and unknown match. He only knew 50% of the people in it and that wasn't enough.
He decides to do some research before hand and find out just what he was walking into.. Logging on to PCW.com he pulls up
the old streams from Trauma's say and sits down to watch...
Crazy Boy is a seasoned and decorated veteran and certainly a dark horse. Nobody really knows what he will do so does that work to our favour or theirs? I am unsure
Hmmm... I have never encountered a real live pirate before. And it seems he has been around a long time and enjoyed some success here. He is wild and unpredictable and that could be trouble.
So High Tide I invite you to battle not on the high seas but in the ring and soon we will see who is the better man.
And as for Warywk. You sir have no advantage this time and not do I. Last time we both went in blind and I somehow got s win. But this time we both know what the other cam do. So if your ready to go another round then come and I shall give you all that you can handle and then some!
He shuts the laptop and walks off to go and train in preparation for Trauma 208
