Hiroshi Yukio steps back through the curtain from lowing his tag team victory with Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith at Trauma. The cheers and chants of the fans can still be heard as he leaves. It was as always a raucous and vocal crowd and he knew what he had put on tonight was exactly what he wanted. The fans were happy and that meant so was he.
His mood had been so good lately since his return to PCW. His momentum had propelled him forward and with this win being his second hen knew that things were going good. He knew that these wins would also catch the attention of "Showtime" Michael Wright.
He knew exactly where he was going and what he wanted to achieve. The path to glory is not an easy one but he wouldn't stop till he achieved his goal.
His post match pace is not as quick as it usually was due to the exhaustion of being in the ring.
Trudging down the steps he grabs a small bottle of water and quickly twists off the lid. He downs it rapidly as it will slide down his neck before grabbing yet another bottle and drinking once more.
Having slated his thirst he continued his walk down the corridors of the PCW arena back to his dressing room. Stopping before the door he reaches down and turns the knob sharply and the door opens allowing him in. He closed the door behind him looking around and sees his usual post match meal waiting for him on the table.
"Ah good" his voice booms even though no one else will hear it.
Sitting down to eat he smiles
"I will need my strength for my next match. A champion is only as good as what he puts into his body. And I have earned this meal today for sure."
He begins to eat and as he does there is a knock on his door. An annoyed look crossed his face. He is not happy about being interrupted during his meal. He puts his chopsticks down and rises from his seat before crossing the room to answer the door.
He opens the doorway and there in a smart business suit is a thin bespectacled Japanese man. His handlebar moustache is curled and his hair like Hiroshi is raven black.
The man sees Hiroshi and bows deeply in respect.
Hiroshi returns the bow and smiles politely.
"How can I help you?"
"Hiroshi Sama, these are the DVDs you requested of your Mass Destruction opponent Andy D.
You said you wished to scout him before your match and make sure you were prepared."
He reaches into his briefcase and pulls out a folder pulling out a full dossier and 3 DVDs each neatly labeled with its contents before snapping the locks closed.
"Here is everything I could find out about him. A full history of his time in and outside of PCW. And these matches are some of his most historic. I also included last weeks triple threat match with Andy D vs. Nathan Saniti vs. Whitey Ford for you to review."
Hiroshi nods and takes the folder from the man
"Thank you Nigata San."
Nigata nods bows and walks off. Hiroshi closed the door and returns to his meal as he looks over the documents. He picks up the first disc and puts it in the player.
With a click the TV comes to life and he watched intently as the match begins to play.
The arena lights go down as the start of ”Damn Nation” by Lower Than Atlantis starts up. As the first verse kicks in, a couple of spotlights start to scan over random sections of the crowd as the letters AD are emblazed on the big screen, with various video highlights of Andy's career visible only within the letters themselves.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
You can lead your lambs to slaughter if its what the shepherd thinks
As the chorus starts up on the song, an explosion of Pyro's go off and the arena lights all come back up to reveal Andy standing in the center of the ring. He stands there for a moment, soaking up the reactions of the crowd before he removes his bucket hat and places it on the steel pole part of the turnbuckle, ready for the match.
His eyes don't leave the screen as Andy moves in and around the ring getting in offence.
A flying drop kick sends his opponent down and he quickly follows up with a standing moonsault into a pin
Hiroshi makes notes as the match goes on.
"I will need to counter his high flying style. He needs to be grounded or he will be a problem."
As he continues the footage shows him hitting the Dragon Bite.
"I'll need to watch out for that too."
He shuts off the footage and reads the dossiers soaking in all he can.
He ponders the papers before looking straight into the camera and his face becomes one of fierce intensity.
"Andy our paths haven't crossed before But know this. I am going to be your biggest obstacle.
You have failed more times than you have succeeded and it shows.
I've climbed to the top before and I've become king. And now that I'm back my momentum will not be stopped. I've already won 2 matches on my return and I plan to keep my honour.
A sumo is always a master of battle and I will show you when you get in that ring.
I will show no mercy and my warrior spirt shall send me into battle and on to victory.
