The lights go out. Suddenly the sound of guitars pierce through the silence as "Wastelands" by Linkin Park begins to play. Rick Majors appears in the entrance way. He pauses for a moment and looks down briefly. He then shakes his head, breathes deeply and stares out at the crowd, stretching his arms and warming up as he walks down to the ring. He carries the North American Title on one shoulder and the Underground Title on the other.
Majors walks slowly, looking out around the arena as he continues his way down to the ring.
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Underground King and NEW North American Champion.... RICK MAJORS!
Majors climbs the ring steps and pauses. He turns towards the crowd, standing on the ring apron for a moment before entering the ring. Majors stands in the centre of the ring, looking out towards the crowd. He slowly starts to circle the ring, stretching and loosening up his body.
Finally, he raises both titles in the air and the crowd cheers.
The lights in the arena then come back on as Majors places the titles on the ropes, strapping them around tightly. He then grabs a microphone and circles the ring.
Rick Majors: You know… I honestly never thought I’d be here.
Majors pauses and looks down.
Jerry Andrews: Rick Majors, at 46 years of age, hasn’t just won his first title in Pure Class Wrestling, but now he’s a double champion!
Ace Anderson: Like him or not, he’s been through a hell of a lot, he’s never given up, and he’s standing here tonight a champion.
Rick Majors: There were a lot of times that I thought I couldn’t do it. I figured my career was over. My glory days were in the past. I thought about retiring. I even… I ever tried to take my own life….
Majors looks down again.
Rick Majors: Look, I know you all know my sob sorry so I’ll spare you. I just want to say thank you. I haven’t always been a guy that you could cheer for. I haven’t done a lot worth cheering about, to be honest, but when I won the North American Title at Return to Glory… you cheered. And when I won the Underground Title a few weeks ago on Trauma, my first title in this company, you cheered. And that meant a lot. You didn’t have to. I didn’t expect you to. But you did. So thank you.
The crowd cheers once again.
Rick Majors: It’s been a long road back to a championship. There were times when I would just sit in the locker room and think about what it would be like to carry gold again. It was a dream for me, and one that I never thought I would ever actually experience again. I used to wish that someone, anyone would help me win a title, even out of pity, just so I could feel like I was worth something again.
Majors looks down once more.
Rick Majors: But now that I’m actually standing here with these titles – that I won MYSELF – I’m so glad that I didn’t retire and that I didn’t take the easy way out. I didn’t need anyone’s help to get here. This is going to sound very self-aggrandizing here, and very out of character, but I did this ON MY OWN, through hard work and dedication and never quitting. I’m not usually the type of guy to pat myself on the back but, like I said, I never thought I’d be here again, so let me have this.
Majors smiles slightly and looks down again.
Rick Majors: Sorry… look… what I mean is that it feels good to be here - Rick Majors, the man who came into Pure Class Wrestling years ago after having had some success elsewhere - celebrating an accomplishment. Through all of the ups and downs I tried to stay true to myself and who I really am and I think I achieved that. And that makes it so much more meaningful.
Majors looks down again.
Rick Majors: Anyway… thank you, again. Thank you for your support, thank you for putting up with yet another long speech from me, and thank you for allowing me to be the flawed person that I am and to work out a lot of personal stuff in front of you over the years. It means a lot.
Majors puts the mic down, picks up his titles, raises them over his head for a moment, and then leaves the ring with a smile on his face.
Jerry Andrews: What a personal, heartfelt speech from Rick Majors here tonight.
Ace Anderson: You can say a lot about the guy, but he’s always been real. He’s always been honest with us. It’s nice to see him have some success after so much struggling.
Gabriel jolts up from his dream. He’s clearly shaken. Sweat drips from his face. He looks around the room frantically. After a few moments he calms down.
“Relax Gabriel,” he thinks to himself.
“There’s no way Rick Majors could have accomplished what you have. He was too weak. He was too directionless. He was too scared. You’re different. You’re stronger. You’re better. You’ve been saved. Never forget that.”
Slowly he allows his thoughts to turn away from hisdream nightmare and towards the upcoming episode of Pure Class Wrestling Trauma. High Tide, Tyrone Smith, and Dominator. A fourway match for his Underground Title.
He still hates the Underground. It does not suit him in any way. But he will do whatever he needs to do to hold onto its crown. Lord Seromine deserves to be recognized for his accomplishments. The world needs to see the power of his work. Now Gabriel had two championships. He is living proof of the Lord's power. Those two titles show how truly great the Lord is.
And Gabriel wanted the third.
But first, Trauma. A fourway match. Three souls that need to be cleansed. A canvas that needs to be painted red with blood. The reluctant king will destroy anyone who comes for his throne. For their own safety, it would be best if they didn’t even show up on Thursday, but Gabriel knows they will. They are stupid. They are desperate for gold. They want the fame and the riches and the other sinful pleasures that heathens always enjoy about championships. As for himself? He needs to keep spreading the word of the Lord. And sometimes it requires breaking some skulls to make sure that message is heard. So be it. That's life. The strong survive. The weak - like Rick Majors - die.
Praise Seromine
Praise the Lord.

In the wastelands of today,
When there's nothing left to lose,
And and there's nothing more to take,
But you force yourself to choose,
In the wastelands of today,
When tomorrow disappears
When the future slips away,
And your hope turns into fear,
In the wastelands of today.
When there's nothing left to lose,
And and there's nothing more to take,
But you force yourself to choose,
