Pure Class Wrestling Trauma 236: The Icey Awards
Thursday August 2nd
The scene opens at a sold our Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina.
Before any introductions or announcement can be made, the lights go completely out. This is an awards show, not Trauma. The wait isn’t very long. In fact, twelve candles are lit up in less than two minutes. They highlight the Followers gathered center stage. Regardless of the event, they are dressed in their prairie clothes and creepy as fuck animal masks. They are facing the crowd and fellow PCW peers who have decided to attend the ceremony. Seromine himself is nowhere to be found.
But he IS heard. The follower wearing the Wolf mask (Lylyth) steps to the front as she sets a tape recorder down on the lectern. The play button is hit to the sound of crackling silence while she takes three steps back to her spot in the lineup...his voice finally introduces itself to everyone.
SEROMINE: BROTHERS AND SISTERS, Tonight is a most joyous occasion! GOD has called on all of you to be here in HIS presence, for this awards show named after our dearly departed founder. Let us not go any further without bowing our heads and taking the time to pay our respect to Luis Malave, who at this very second, is watching with the same pride that the living are. Please join me in prayer…
As said in 1st John chapter 5—verse 15, You’re the omniscient God who we know hears all prayers. So, we pray for the soul of our departed brother that You, oh Lord may nourish and take care of him in Heaven. You encourage us to ask and that it shall be given to us and so, we’ve asked and we know our request has been given. We thank You for providing for the deceased when he was alive and for sheltering us—also to be present in this prayer. Amen.
There is another pause. Lylyth retrieves the recorder as the tape seems to have ended. She, again, takes her place among the others. Once they all raise their heads in unison, Seromine APPEARS on a video wall behind them.
SEROMINE: This is the Iceys in name only. The word of GOD is the true award! Not just tonight, but every night! To deny the truth of that, is to accept your reservation in HELL!
Seromine pauses with a smirk.
SEROMINE: Now then, Our first award is for BREAKOUT STAR. But first, Micah 2:13. The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the LORD at their head. The nominees are:
STACY JONES
MR. PURE!
GERARD ANGELO
HIROSHI YUKIO
DARREN “MONSTER” SILVAIRA
SEROMINE: And the winner is…
GERARD ANGELO
Seromine disappears from the video wall, replaced by a highight reel of Gerard. “Who Gon Stop Me” by Kanye West & Jay Z ushers “The Hollywood Hero” out to the candlelight. The Followers stare him down as he cautiously approaches to accept his award. He holds it up proudly as the audience cheers.
The show returns, and now we are in the Pure Class Arena where the fans are on their feet ready for the first match of the evening.
Jerry Andrews: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Pure Class Arena! I'm Jerry Andrews and I hope that you are enjoying the show so far!
Ace Anderson: I'm Ace Anderson and.... why is Seromine presenting awards?
Jerry Andrews: Aren't you always saying he's a GOD!? Gods can do whatever they want, right?
Ace Anderson: Ummm.... oh yeah.... that makes sense.
Jerry Andrews: Anyway, we're here for our first match of the evening.
As soon as the distortion from the opening of "Ghost" starts to play over the loudspeakers, Arsen Goodstone steps calmly out onto the stage, holding his suspenders with his thumbs. Even as the mellow acoustics start to play, Goodstone only looks out at the crowd with a knowing, matter of fact, and almost sympathetic look. By his mannerisms, he appears to be on a righteous path and quietly executing a plan he has set in place.
Arsen gives a look to this left, then to the right, and as the drum beat kicks in he taps his wolf head adorned can against the stage and slowly takes off his top hat and places it solemnly over his chest. He slowly starts to make his way down to the ring, exuding a quiet violence and the aura of a man who knows what has to be done, and won't stop until it's done.
Goodstone climbs the steps slowly, giving glances at the crowd, now looking around him in disaproval at any emotion he deems unfit at the time. Entering over the second rope, Arsen makes his way to the corner, refusing to let the referee check him, even upon admonishment, reminding the ref that he is a 'real man' and settles fights 'the way they have to be.' Arsen waves his hand impatiently for his music to cut, and for his opponent to make his entrance.
"I'm from a planet both in and out of space...."
...A piano begins to play...
"I am that weeping joy you feel when you accomplish something difficult...on your own..."
Bright lights flash. Thunder rolls. And lightening strikes at the top of the stage, for a second you catch a glimpse of a masked figure. With another flash it's gone.
"...However I am also that pit of despair that someone feels when they do bad and are about to get caught...a sinking feeling of strong justice like PURE joy! Those of unjust motives beware!"
The music suddenly picks up and from above the ring a man is slowly lowering from above. His arms stretched out palms up, masked head looking down, and his legs together as if he was concentrating on lowering himself.
"I AM MISTER PURE! THE HERO OF THE MASSES!"
Another flash of blinding light and smoke! Mr Pure is now standing in the ring when the smoke settles. His arms crossed looking down. Smoke! A flash! Mr Pure is standing on the ring post balanced perfectly with his arms above his head small traces of lightening erupting from the palms of his hands! He lands a back flip nimbly on his feet pacing his corner.
Singles Match
Mr. PURE! vs Arsen Goodstone
Referee: Manny Cruz
The bell rings for the start of the match. It starts with Mr. PURE! and Goodstone staring each other down. Then they lock up with Mr. PURE! getting the advantage by locking on a side headlock with Goodstone pushing him off into the ropes then hitting with a shoulder charge that sends Mr. PURE! to the canvas. Mr. PURE! quickly gets up and starts hitting Goodstone with numerous punches.
Ace Anderson: Mr. PURE! exploding with offense here.
Jerry Andrews: There's a part of me that is kind of expecting him to actually explode in the ring...
Mr. PURE! Irish whips Goodstone into the ropes and hits him with a dropkick that sends Goodstone over the top rope and onto the floor. Mr. PURE! then raises his arms in the air, dropping several smoke bombs before running and diving over the ropes, hitting Goodstone with a suicide dive. Mr. PURE! stands up, pulls something from his utility belt, and drops it, causing a huge flash of light that makes it impossible to see for a moment.
Jerry Andrews: What is going on here!?
Ace Anderson: I don't like this!
When the light clears, Goodstone is crawling along the floor with Mr. PURE! giving him vicious kicks to the gut. Then Mr. PURE! helps up Goodstone and Irish whips him into the steel steps.
Jerry Andrews: That has got to hurt.
Ace Anderson: He will definitely feel that one in the morning.
Mr. PURE! picks up Arsen Goodstone and pushes him back into the ring with Mr. PURE! sliding in after him. PURE! slowly walks over to Goodstone still on the ground, Mr. PURE! attempts to pick him up but Goodstone blocks it off and rolls Mr. PURE! into a small package.
1….
2…...
KICKOUT!
Jerry Andrews: Near fall.
Ace Anderson: That was close.
Jerry Andrews: Crafty move there by Goodstone!
Mr. PURE! quickly gets up and clotheslines Goodstone straight back to the canvas. Mr. PURE! waits for Goodstone to get up from the canvas. Goodstone slowly gets up and is met with a German suplex followed by belly to belly suplex then Mr. PURE! goes for the cover.
Jerry Andrews: 1…2… KICKOUT!
PURE! pulls Arsen up, but suddenly hits him with a European uppercut. He then scoops him up and slams him down to the mat with a powerslam. Goodstone goes for the cover, but only gets two. He then pulls PURE! up, hits a scoop slam and goes for another cover, getting another two.
Ace Anderson: It looks like Arsen is trying to tire Mr. PURE! out with these frequent covers. Smart!
Goodstone pulls Mr. PURE! up and he Irish whips him. PURE! reverses it and whips Arsen into the ropes, Mr. PURE! leap frogs him and as Goodstone comes back he hits Mr. PURE! with a devastating right hand. Goodstone quickly picks up Mr. PURE! and hits him with a short armed clothesline that sends Mr. PURE! to the canvas and Goodstone makes the quick cover.
Ace Anderson: 1…2… KICKOUT!
Jerry Andrews: You're right Ace, Goodstone is trying to wear Mr. PURE! down here.
Ace Anderson: Of course I'm right.
Goodstone continues on the attack by hitting Mr. PURE! with a suplex followed up by another right hand. PURE! is staggered. Arsen goes for a spear, but as he attempts to hit Mr. PURE! with it, Mr. PURE! dodges it which causes Goodstone to go head first into the middle turnbuckle in the corner.
Jerry Andrews: Ouch! This could be a big break for Mr. PURE!
Mr. PURE! seizes this opportunity by connecting Goodstone with a spinning roundhouse kick as he steps out of the corner. He goes for the pin:
1......
2......
Ace Anderson: KICKOUT!
Mr. PURE! helps up Goodstone only to hit him a belly-to-belly suplex. Mr. PURE! waits for Goodstone to get up and once he does, he runs at him with a diving crossbody. Goodstone dodges it and PURE! hits the mat hard. Goodstone runs against the ropes and swings with The Debt Collector but his opponent ducks it. Mr. PURE! then drops several smoke bombs to disorient Arsen, before hitting him with a series of strikes.
Jerry Andrews: Moments of PURE JOY!
Ace Anderson: How are those smoke bombs legal!? Ref!
PURE! is on the top rope now! He leaps off with a double stomp!
Jerry Andrews: Pure Shock!
1…
2…
KICKOUT!
Jerry Andrews: He kicked out!
Ace Anderson: Wow! I thought that was it!
Jerry Andrews: He barely BARELY kicked out! Look at the replay.
A replay is shown, and Arsen Goodstone got his shoulder up at the very last possible moment. Back with live action, Mr. PURE! picks up Goodstone, but Goodstone hits him with numerous elbows to the gut and he runs against the ropes with Mr. PURE! leap frogging him. PURE! attempts a clothesline but Goodstone ducks out of the way. As Mr. PURE! turns around and charges, Goodstone catches them in a double leg takedown, but before they can fall he hoists them up over his head in a spinebuster position. Without losing momentun, Goodstone circles the ring and delivers a big running spinebuster!
Jerry Andrews: Lack of Intelligence! This could be it!
Ace Anderson: It's gotta be over!
1….
2….
KICKOUT!
The entire arena thought Goodstone had it won. Goodstone has a shocked and confused look on his face. He questions the count to the referee but the ref is standing strong to his claims. As Goodstone picks up Mr. PURE!, he gets kneed right in the gut. And then...
Jerry Andrews: MORE SMOKE BOMBS!
Ace Anderson: Come on!
After some seemingly much longer Moments of PURE JOY!, Mr. PURE! again appears on the top turn buckle, Goodstone on his back. PURE! hits a full height jump, landing both feet on Goodstone's chest!
Jerry Andrews: Another Pure Shock!
Ace Anderson: A cover!
1…
2…
3!
Sasha Greene: Here is your winner: MR. PURE!
Mr. PURE! slowly stands up and raises his arms in victory.
Jerry Andrews: What a match!
Ace Anderson: I'd certainly like to see these two battle it out again. Maybe without the smoke bombs and flashing lights though.
Jerry Andrews: I think that stuff comes as a part of the Mr. PURE! package. We'll be right back.
Back inside the Peace Center, Seromine again speaks.
SEROMINE: Our next award is for MOST LOVED. None of the nominees are truly worthy of this honor, as the winner is GOD. The fact that his name isn’t among my fellow competitors is a sinful tragedy. 1 John 4:8. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. The nominees are:
KYLE SHANE
GERARD ANGELO
STACY JONES
TYRONE “CRAZY BOY” SMITH
MR. PURE!
SEROMINE: And the winner is…
KYLE SHANE
Seromine disappears from the video wall once more, replaced by a highight reel of the World Champion. “In the Morning and Amazing” by Circa Survive brings “The God of Game” out to a tense standoff. Kyle taunts The Folloers as they are ready to attack, while PCW, sparing no expense to keep things peaceful, has sent out security to keep the two sides away from one another. The chaos on stage means that Kyle Shane isn't able to give a victory speech. The faithful in attendance will have to settle for the rather unkind words that he hurls at Seromine's squad.
The scene then cuts to a graphic that reads The Icey Award for Best Match followed by a video package.
Pure Class Wrestling World Championship Singles Match Kyle Shane (World ©) vs Grimm Mass Destruction VIII With his left hand, Grimm forces Kyle Shane to his feet. He swings him into the corner. Reversed. Kyle explodes with a charge. Grimm BURIES a spectacular headbutt between his eyes. He doesn’t relent. DEAD RECKONING calls for several more. Down, beaten, battered, and out, Kyle Shane is left with traces of blood pooling out of a now open wound. In no better shape is Phinehas Grimm. He vigorously works to get his right arm back into some sort of working order. With not a second to be wasted or effort missed, he...climbs to the top rope? Diving headbutt to the heart! Grimm hooks a leg! 1! 2! 3!! NO NO NO! Kyle Shane has his hand clutching the bottom rope!! Grimm was milliseconds away from victory, but Kyle played the ring awareness card. Jerry Andrews: What a performance from both of these men! Kyle Shane just wants to win, baby, and by god he is going to make Grimm EARN this victory...something he felt like Grimm didn’t do to get this opportunity. Ace Anderson: Grimm may have to kill him in order to take the title… Phinehas takes the left hand of Kyle Shane off of the ropes. Once he has it flat on the mat, he starts to stomp a mud-hole on it. He then manipulates the fingers in a way that’ll make you cringe, making sure to have them bent before those as well get a stomp. It’s enough to make one think Kyle just had them broken (he didn’t, but he sure sells the hell out of it). Blood stains where Kyle lays. A crimson mask concealing his youthful features. Grimm drags Kyle to the middle of the ring. He leaves him on his hands and knees before hitting the ropes. Knee trembler! Kyle sees stars following the shot to his temple. Grimm rolls him onto his back and with a hook of the legs… 1! 2! 3!! KYLE GETS AN ARM UP!! Jerry Andrews (yelling): HOW IS HE DOING THIS?! THIS IS AWESOME chants break out. Grimm tugs at his beard. Agitation setting in. Kyle Shane, a bloodied mess, somehow, someway, just will not Icemann...die! Kyle Shane just will not die! Grimm rises to his feet with Kyle in toe. He sends him to the ropes. A lariat is ducked. A second is as well. On the third swing, Grimm traps him with a sleeper... BUT KYLE SPINS HIMSELF INTO A GODDESS WHITE SWORD COUNTER!! Kyle reaches deep inside to put Grimm down with a pele kick! Kyle falls onto his back. He wipes the blood off of his face. He allows himself a brief respite. KYLE! KYLE! KYLE! He found an extra life, earlier. Well consider this a fucking continue! Kyle Shane fires UP! Grimm is yanked by the beard. Sitout facebuster! Kyle rolls Grimm over for his own pin attempt! 1! 2! 3---NOT THIS TIME EITHER! Kyle runs his fingers through his hair. With teeth gritting determination, he returns to his feet. Grimm finds his right arm being bent behind his back. He is bodyslammed right onto it! Kyle makes sure to keep it trapped there. With a renewed sense of energy, he goes up top. There is no hesitation… ONE FOR MY BABY HITS! Kyle Shane nails a picture perfect corkscrew shooting star press like a comet coming down to earth. The fans count along as Kyle frantically has Grimm covered! 1! 2!! 3!! Grimm KICKS OUT!! Kyle tries again! 1!! 2!! 3---NOPE! Kyle pounds the mat in frustration. But he knows he can’t lose focus. Grimm is maneuvered into the corner. A pair of knife edge chops for good measure are delivered. Grimm is sent across. No! He reverses and sends Kyle back a short distance to the current corner. Grimm runs through his midsection with a spear! Kyle doubles over...and into the awaiting lock of Grimm. Phinehas wisely chooses the left side once more. THE HARVEST...is BLOCKED! Kyle frees his head and propels Grimm backwards. Kyle catches Grimm getting to his feet...VATS!! NO! Grimm ducks under it for the second time. Kyle finds himself being thrown into the corner. Grimm charges in. Kyle moves out of the way as Grimm drives his right arm into the ring post!! He backs away from the scene of the crime favoring it. When he turns around...VATS!! Kyle Shane absolutely buries his roundhouse spin kick to the left temple of Grimm, effectively turning the lights out in Hangtown. Phinehas is pulled to the center of the ring. Kyle Shane collapses over him as if his last ounce of energy was charged though that thunderous finisher. The ref drops down and makes the count… 1! 2!! 3!!! … … … … … GRIMM GETS HIS SHOULDER UP AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND!!! Only he DOESN’T! Grimm is down, out, and defeated. The referee calls for the bell as Kyle Shane has FINALLY put an end to this marathon of a World Title match and effectively exercised his ghost. Sasha Greene: Here is the winner of the match and STILL PCW World Champion, Kyle Shane! As Circa Survive mixes with the loud cheers for the winner, Kyle Shane slowly becomes aware that he has won the match. The referee raises his hand and awards him his title. His face cracks in a relieved and exuberant smile. Some may have doubted or wondered if he could beat Phinehas Grimm. It may have taken a third try, but Kyle Shane can say he DID. The pain and fatigue become secondary as a bloodied Kyle Shane triumphantly holds the title over his shoulder. For everything he had to put up with between November and now, the God of Game finally stands victorious in his first title defense! |
Jerry Andrews: Ladies and gentlemen, we are back and you're listing to "Notorious" by Adelitas Way, which is not only the official theme of Club V, but it's also the 2018 Summer Icey Award Winner for Best Theme Song! Congratulations to Johnny Vivacious and Justin Michaels. They won this award at the last Iceys too!
Ace Anderson: I'm pretty sure they'll remind us of that once or twice in the near future.
Jerry Andrews: While we're presenting and naming the winners of many Icey Awards here tonight, we can't fit all the action into one show, so be sure to check out PureClassWrestling.com immediately following this broadcast for the full list of winners.
Sasha Greene: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Hailing from Sin City, he weighs two hundred and twelve pounds, CHIP WAGER!
Funny ring name aside, Chip looks like some random middle aged jobber who has seen plenty of time taking losses. He sports generic ring attire with no descript features to point out. As his name is announced, it draws...silence. No pity laughs, applause, or anything. Just apathy.
Sasha Greene: And his opponent!
The pipe organ of “Be Still for the Presence of the Lord” echoes throughout the arena. As the Beverley Minster Congregation begins to sing the hymn, Seromine and Destiny enter from around the ramp in an open carriage, horse-drawn buggy. He halts the clydesdales, then assists her out of the ride. Slowly, the pair make their way down to the ring, stopping to “bless” some of those close to the barrier as a negative reaction churns from the crowd.
Sasha Greene: From Anaheim, California. He weighs two hundred and forty pounds. Being accompanied by Destiny Willard is SEROMINE!
Seromine, dressed in preacher’s garb straight out of the 1800’s, walks arm-in-arm with his wife, who is also dressed in a very conservative, black dress with a white collar and cuffs and two white buttons on the front. His wide brimmed black hat and black coat lend a severity to his appearance as they make their way to the ring steps.
He lends his wife a gentlemanly hand up the stairs, holding the ropes for her as she enters, following quickly behind. He slowly makes his way around the ring, “blessing” the audience to a somewhat ungrateful reaction. Finally, he removes his hat and coat, handing them to his dutiful wife, while leaving his white button-up shirt and black ribbon bowtie on. Destiny kisses her husband as he holds the ropes open for her. She exits to ringside while he waits for the bell.
Singles Match
Chip Wagner vs Seromine
Referee: Nigel Gale
DING!
DING!
Seromine dashes across the ring as he immediately goes to town on Chip, blindsiding with ferocious strikes that produce a sound only heard when delivered stiff. Chip slumps in the corner, but Seromine seizes the opportunity to stomp him in the face with as much venom as he has in him. Hearing the referee issue a five count gets his attention. Seromine backs the referee on his heels while giving him a tongue lashing that involves words that can’t be repeated on television.
As this is going on, Destiny digs her nails into Wager’s eyes. Seromine, noticing she’s done, decides to ‘apologize’ to the official for his coarse language. The referee checks on Chip and then immediately questions Destiny. She plays innocent with a shrug and a halo drawn around her head.
Seromine pulls him up with aggression, landing a stiff forearm blast. Wager’s head snaps back as he falls to a knee. Seromine yanks him up and brings him into a short arm European uppercut, knocking him halfway through the ropes. He decides to step onto the apron to indulge in kicking him square in the face to send him back into the ring. After re-entering, he raises his arms in the air while fanatically praising GOD amongst the loud boos he receives.
Jerry Andrews: Seromine wasn’t booked for a match. Shouldn’t he and his bride from hell be at the awards show?
Ace Anderson: Well, technically, we only saw him on the Peace Center video board. He could have been here all night. Plus, have you heard of cars? They're these pretty cool things that....
Jerry Andrews: Okay, okay.
Ace Anderson: Anyway, they go wherever they want. I, for one, am happy to have them here tonight, and you should be, too. You may have YOUR sins washed away.
Jerry Andrews: You need professional help.
Seromine studies the wounded Chip Wager like he were a dying animal. He allows Chip to partially get up before planting him right back down with a nasty double stomp to the back of his head. Seromine again looks at him with a cold stare, showing detachment from the violence he is inflicting on this ham and egger. The referee is forced to check on his well being as Seromine backs away to allow it. Destiny climbs onto the apron, giving him a kiss on the cheek, while they converse among themselves. There is an evil gleam in her eye as she looks at the damage done. She whispers ‘get him’ in Seromine’s ear, sending him back into action.
The referee is moved aside. ABSOLUTION STOMP to his head and neck, nine times on each. Seromine drags him to the center of the ring. He’s not done, as he decides to go to the top rope.
HIGH ELEVATION FROG SPLASH! Seromine remains over him with the legs hooked. After the official wipes his fingers clean, he gladly counts the pin (albeit faster than usual).
1.
2.
3.
The bell is called for, and then a quick leave from the referee as Seromine stands back on his feet. Destiny enters the ring to raise her husband’s hand triumphantly in the air, while pushing the point of her heel into Chip’s throat.
Sasha Greene: Here is the winner of the match, Seromine!
Jerry Andrews: Well thankfully that’s the end of that!
Ace Anderson: Seromine sent a message tonight, to whom, I don’t know. But it was effective.
Pretending like what happened, didn’t, Seromine goes into prayer for Chip’s well being. That is until he decides to chuck him out of the ring on his own way out. Destiny leads him towards the back when…
Jerry Andrews: Here we go again with the lights…
Darkness there and nothing more.
A cold chill plunges inside of the arena. There is an uncomfortable waiting game being played. Suddenly, the sounds of distant cawing can be heard. A dim spotlight shines on Seromine and Destiny who look in the direction of the disembodied noise. It grows louder as it gets closer to their position, sounding like a menacing flock as it approaches.
They aren’t impressed. The spotlight expands. When they turn around, they are startled by the sight of a VERY ominous looking scarecrow. Slipped completely over the head is a Raven’s mask done in burlap. Black feathers have been sewn around the scalp to make it look like textured hair. The brow is lowered with deep set eyes, giving it an intense, unwelcoming stare. Stitched across the forehead is XIII. The black clothing, once whole, is now ragged, giving it a haunting appearance. The scarecrow itself appears crucified against an assembled wicker cross.
Jerry Andrews: What...in...the...hell…?
Ace Anderson: Did someone forget this is July, not October?!
Commotion breaks amongst the faithful. Seromine and Destiny look towards them, unaware that the scarecrow is turning its own head in whatever direction they are. An ear splitting caw played right next to them forces Destiny to leap into her husband’s arms. The spotlights disappear, plunging the arena back into darkness. When the lights return, pages upon pages of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” fall like leaflets from every corner of the arena.. The scarecrow is no longer there.
Whatever apprehension or fear that Seromine and Destiny had felt is now traded off for anger. Loud chants of NEVERMORE break out once the faithful are able to read the material. The two of them demand they shut up, but it’s to no avail. Seromine promptly turns around and walks to the back with Destiny still in his arms.
Jerry Andrews: Well folks, we're back and there's a lot more coming up on this show including our Underground Title match. Speaking of the Underground Title and its current holder Dominator, let's take a look back at what happened the last time we held the Iceys.... because it's pretty relevant to today.
Pure Class Wrestling Trauma 223: The Icey Awards Thursday December 21, 2017 "Evil Angel" by Breaking Benjamin plays and Dominator pushes himself up on one elbow, clad in the rags of his wet, ruined dress shirt and slacks. He is handed the Underground title belt. Jerry Andrews: These two caused havoc literally all around the backstage area and out to the parking lot. And it all comes back here, into the ring. Ace Anderson: Razor Blade put a big hurting on the champion. Let's give him a hand, this week Razor brought the strongest effort we've seen from him to date, if he keeps this up he will receive many other title opportunities. Jerry Andrews: But the other story from this match, the amazing run of the Underground King, Dominator continues, with the big man looking more unstoppable than ever. The crowd gives the two men a standing ovation as Dominator raises his arm in the air. Jerry Andrews: What a contest! Ace Anderson: And, when we return, we'll name the latest inductee into the Pure Class Wrestling Hall of Fame.... wait... huh!? Without warning, a fan in black jumps into the stage. Razor Blade rolls out of the ring and is immediately tied up then dropped on the back of his head. Jerry Andrews: That's a Widow Maker and yes, that is Johnny Vivacious! The hood falls in the momentum revealing the Man in Black in full-on attack mode. He jumps up onto the apron and then to the top turnbuckle of the near corner. Dominator is wobbly, but on his feet and collecting his senses, he’s totally oblivious of the impending blindside. Ace Anderson: FLYING NECKBREAKER! Jerry Andrews: Dominator is still on his feet. Dominator has no idea who or from where, but he remains teetering in the center of the ring regardless. Even after a chop block to his right knee and an attempted clothesline. Vivacious rebounds from the ropes again, returning with a clubbing double axe-handle. Jerry Andrews: Dominator is rocked! Ace Anderson: But he does not fall down. Dominator takes a second chop block, this time to the back of his left knee, but he doesn't completely lose his balance. Ace Anderson: He can't take the big guy down. Jerry Andrews: He won't be throwing Dominator around with his arsenal of suplexes. Vivacious rushes the ropes behind a doubled-over Dominator, picking up speed as he passes and hits the ropes in front of his target. A perfectly placed… Crowd: HELL-BOW! Mortimer is on the apron and admonishing Vivacious, clutching to the PCW Underground King’s belt. The hysteria of the crowd is deafening and Dominator cannot hear Mortimer calling out instructions. Jerry Andrews: There's no way he can hear him. Ace Anderson: What? Vivacious flinches, threatening, and then snatches the title belt Mortimer used as a shield. Mortimer is knocked off of the apron as Vivacious hit the ropes once again to pick up momentum. KAH-RAH-ACK! Ace Anderson: OH! Jerry Andrews: OH! The Crowd: OH! The Locker Room: OH! Everyone Watching at Home: OH! You: OH! Dominator crashes to the mat and rolls out of the ring under the bottom rope. Jerry Andrews: The Underground King went down and is collecting himself on the outside of the ring. The crowd get louder as Stormm rushes onto the stage and dives into the ring, sliding into plank and amazingly straight up to his feet. Stormm paces the ropes, glaring down at Mortimer and Dominator while his partner... Ace Anderson: Johnny Vivacious is standing in the center of the ring with the Underground title high above his head. Vivacious holds the title belt high, absorbing the exuberance of the crowd. He drops the strap down on his left shoulder, retrieves his cigarettes and “FU” Zippo. Stormm continues to intensely dare Mortimer with each step as Vivacious lights up and enjoys the first hit. Then, reaching back into his jacket, Vivacious produces a microphone. “A few weeks ago,” he began, “I said that if I failed to win at Collision Course that ‘L’ that Grimm dealt me didn't stand for loss…” Ace Anderson: Even though that is exactly what it was. “...I said that it would stand for lesson.” Ace Anderson: To never come out and challenge Grimm again, lesson learned. “What I learned is,” he continued, “who I am.” The crowd chant “JOHN-NY-V!” but he shakes his head. “My name is Johnny Matthews,” he stated, “and I think I have made it clear what I want.” Matthews takes the crown of the Underground King from his shoulder and takes a long look into the gold, even showing it to his brother-in-law. Conspicuous by its absence is the stolen World title belt as Notorious poses with a title won and a title challenged. |
The show returns with a graphic that reads The Icey Award for Best Debut or Return followed by a video package.
Pure Class Wrestling Presents Living a Legacy X Sunday June 10, 2018 Both the official and Grimm lay motionless on the mat. Dominator simply smirks at the destruction. He holds his hand up for a chokeslam, reaching down to grab his opponent to deliver the deathblow, when suddenly, just out of shot, a fan wearing a paper mask jumps the barricade and slides into the ring, delivering a huge low blow to The Zenith. Dominator howls in pain, dropping the mat as the masked individual looks down at him. Dominator angrily stares up at his attacker, trying to right himself. Jerry Andrews: That man is wearing a Johnny Matthews mask! Whoever this guy is, they’re clearly trying to get underneath Dominator’s skin. The ‘Matthews Masked Man’ begins to strike Dominator with kicks, punts and boots to the torso, ribs and head. Dominator is reeling, yet he still tries to get back up, but this attacker keeps him grounded with a Double Footed Stomp. The man reaches into the sleeve of his long jacket… withdrawing a baseball bat that had been hidden in there all along! Jerry Andrews: Who in the hell is this?! Someone get him out of here?! Ace Anderson: Someone with a sick sense of humor and a vendetta against Dominator. He's mocking Johnny Matthews, all while beating Dominator down into the ground. Jerry Andrews: And now he's got a bat! Someone put a stop to this! Ace Anderson: Like who, the official is down! The attacker prepares his grip and swings the bat forcefully, but The Underground King attempts to block his swings with his arms, which take the brunt of the initial attack. Soon though, strike after strike, they are withered down and the assailant is able to strike Dominator in the chest multiple times. He winds back, before delivering a sickening blow to the side of Dominator’s face that sends him toppling over, face first into the mat. Jerry Andrews: What a devastating shot! Ace Anderson: He’s out cold, Jerry! Dominator is OUT COLD! The attacker looks down at his handiwork before noticing that Grimm is starting to make his way towards their downed opponent. The masked man bails out of the ring and backs himself up the entrance ramp to continue to see how this will pan out. Dominator has not moved since that shot to the face with the baseball bat… Jerry Andrews: I don't like the look of this, Ace. That man rained shot after shot with that baseball bat on Dominator. He could be concussed. Perturbed by the turn of events, Grimm looks from the mystery man to Dominator. The Matthews Masked Man holds his hands up innocently, as if to say he's all yours. Grimm has a suspicious look on his face, but, moving slowly due to fatigue and possible injuries, Grimm is able to get Dominator over. The cover is made, and the downed referee, having revived long after this all took place, slowly crawls towards the center of the ring, counting the cover with a shaky hand. Jerry Andrews: Not this way, dammit! ONE! TWO! THREE!! Jerry Andrews & Ace Anderson: OH MY GOD! DING DING DING! Sasha Greene: Here is your winner, advancing to the FINALS of the Icemann Invitational... GRIMM! Jerry Andrews: Dominator has been defeated! For the first time in his PCW career, The Underground King has been beaten in one-on-one competition! But my GOD was it through controversial means! Ace Anderson: I’m in shock!... Grimm moves on, and Dominator loses, Dominator lost his first match... and why?! Who did this?! Even Grimm cannot quite believe it as his hand is raised, yet slowly but surely, Dominator is coming to! The crowd watches on in disbelief as the battered and bloodied Zenith instinctively starts to push himself up onto his feet. The Masked Man has now back up the entrance ramp, out of harm’s way. Dominator glares at him, trembling with pure rage. The Masked Man grabs a hold of the paper mask depicting Johnny Matthews’ face and slowly lifts it up and tosses it aside… THE CROWD ERUPTS! Beneath the Johnny Matthews mask… is none other than JOHNNY MATTHEWS HIMSELF! Jerry Andrews: I don’t believe it! Johnny Matthews has cost Dominator his winning streak AND a place in the Icemann Invitational! Ace Anderson: We haven’t seen Matthews since Mass Destruction! He is back with a vengeance! All of a sudden, Dominator clambers back onto his feet, before bowling himself between the ropes and CHARGES up the entrance ramp. After such a gruelling match, AND a beatdown with a baseball bat, HOW is he still even able to stand. Johnny Matthews laughs as he disappears into the back, with an enraged Zenith in hot pursuit! Jerry Andrews: Johnny Matthews made a point to screw Dominator since Dominator defeated him months ago... and it showed tonight. |
Back inside the Peace Center, Seromine has returned to the video wall.
SEROMINE: MOST HATED. This award needs no introduction. SATAN should be hated and driven OUT of your souls. I alone, can do that, saving you from his treacherous spell. Matthew 10:22. And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. The nominees are:
SEROMINE
GABRIEL
HIROSHI YUKIO
TYLER SCOTT
DOMINATOR
SEROMINE: And the winner is…
SEROMINE
The video wall starts playing his highlight reel. His followers look for him to appear, despite knowing that he had competed in an unannounced match earlier. “Be Still for the Presence of the Lord” by the Beverly Minster Congregation WELCOMES Seromine and Destiny to the stage. The followers bow their heads as he greets them on his way to the lectern to collect the award.
SEROMINE: I am EVERYWHERE. At home on television. In the textbooks at schools. In sermons at churches, in the prayers of the faithful...my reach is not limited to a single state, a single country or a single person. GOD sent me on a crusade to save the souls of EVERY sinful man, woman and child who feels like they are lost and in need of someone to guide them from their dark abyss in life and into MY kingdom of light!
I am Seromine
I am eternal
I am the new beginning unto those who accept me into their hearts!
And most importantly, I am YOUR Lord and Savior.
Where there are are sins, there is SALVATION from them, brothers and sisters. Pray for us to find you!
Seromine finishes his speech as he and Destiny lead the others backstage (thankfully I’m sure).
Back at the Peace Center, Seromine is back on the stage to present the next award.
SEROMINE: Most inspirational. Matthew 5:16 says "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." The nominees are:
SEROMINE
KYLE SHANE
GABRIEL
DOMINATOR
JOHNNY MATTHEWS
SEROMINE: And the winner is…
GABRIEL and KYLE SHANE. It is a tie...
Seromine does not seem pleased that Kyle Shane is being recognized for being inspirational. Nonetheless, Shane walks to the stage from the right while Gabriel walks in from the left. Gabriel stops and stands behind Seromine. Shane is about to attack the duo when he's stopped by security. Either way, it would be Shane by himself facing off against Gabriel, Seromine and twelve Followers, so the odds aren't exactly in his favor.
The uncomfortable situation gets more uncomfortable when Tyler Scott makes his way to the stage. Scott and Gabriel stand side-by-side, Seromine in front of them, the Followers behind them. A dozen extra members of Pure Class Security rush out to contain the situation. They manage to surround the Followers, but in the chaos Scott and Gabriel jump forward and attack Shane! It's a two-on-one until....
Gerard Angelo arrives to even the odds! But those odds aren't even for long as Seromine now jumps into the fray to keep the numbers advantage. With the Followers still battling with security, Shane and Angelo fight against Seromine, Gabriel, and Tyler Scott. The numbers game starts to get the best of the duo when....
Justin "Stormm" Michaels appears out of nowhere, attacking Seromine! He pulls him off of the stage and throws him into the audience. Gabriel and Scott are distracted by this, and Kyle Shane takes advantage, clocking Scott in the head. Scott and Shane brawl, with their battle eventually ending up in the backstage area. Meanwhile, Gabriel and Seromine take on Gerard Angelo and Justin Michaels in front of the stage.
The battles rage on for several minutes, with the Followers tying up most of the security team. Finally, more security guards rush out to get things under control as the show heads to commercial.
The Icey Awards return, but video wall doesn’t return with Seromine to introduce the fourth award of the evening. In fact, what appears is the static logo for the Icey Awards. This leads to a delay in the show itself. A random PCW official is forced to race out with the envelope and award on the fly. A really geeky looking fellow who sorta resembles Screech from Saved By The Bell (No, it's not Dustin Diamond).
STAFF MEMBER: We---um---oh gosh, I’m so nervous.
His voice is squeaky.
STAFF MEMBER: I---don’t know any bible verses and I don’t have an introduction to read off a teleprompter, so to the winner of BEST SINGLES STAR, don’t hurt me, please! The nominees are:
GRIMM
SEROMINE
JUSTIN “STOMM” MICHAELS
KYLE SHANE
DOMINATOR
STAFF MEMBER: GRIMM!
The sudden announcement gets him yelled at in his earpiece. He frantically tries to correct his slip up over A Perfect Circle’s “Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums”.
STAFF MEMBER: And the winner is GRIMM!
It’s too late and because this is live, there are no do overs. Phinehas is right behind him, staring with those cold, pale blues, or as some would say, “the last thing you see before THE HARVEST.” The geeky staff member nearly trips over his own two feet in giving The Hangtown Horror his space.
Those same black boots that have stomped countless opponents into oblivion. A pair of jeans the inky blue of the abyssal plain far, far below the roiling waters of the Atlantic. A mossy green short sleeved shirt, buttoned up beneath that crimson Beard, all dusted with autumn rust and a pinch of bonfire ash. Grimm accepts the trophy and turns to the crowd.
“Well, how about this. Title belts or not…the Best Singles Star, even now, after all these years. Hmph.”
He turns it in his hands, watching the stage lights reflect and scatter.
“I’d like to thank the Academy, all the voters, and the rest of the nominees. Nominees who I will still crush under my heel when necessary, but fellow nominees none the less. See you in the ring.”
Grimm raises the award and, with a curt nod, turns sharp and exits stage right.
Sasha Greene: The following triple threat match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the PCW Underground Championship!
At ringside, all of the lights turn off suddenly, unceremoniously plunging the entire arena in darkness.
Spotlights appear, in purest white light and begin searching across the crowd, ring, ramp and eventually settling on the stage.
The lights flicker from white, to blue, to white again before the sounds of shattering glass are heard echoing through the arena and the spotlights seem to dissipate.
A moment of silence that hangs throughout the arena until the lights flash on and off, bright and sudden, like a strobe effect before a pyrotechnic crackles around the big screen as "Awake and Alive" by Skillet plays, the spotlights back now, the bright white light appears to dance around the crowd as a blonde haired woman walks out on to the stage ready to tackle the challenge ahead of her.
Sasha Greene: From San Francisco, California, STACY JONES!
The camera gets up close to the stage to get the woman on screen. She is wearing black wrestling tights emblazoned with an angel wing design around the top and a white belt. On top, she wears a black and white matching top and shoulder pads with a pair of sunglasses as she confidently walks to the ring to face her opponent.
Sasha Greene: Introducing next…
The lights dim in the arena and the opening drum beats of A Warrior's Call begins to play with strobe lights synced up. The crowd stands as the opening guitar riffs begin playing. The first words of the song -"Let's get ready to rumble!"- scream out of the speakers as Monster's huge frame steps out onto the stage.
Sasha Greene: From Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Weighing 350lbs, DARREN “THE MONSTER” SILVAIRA!
The crowd erupts into cheers at the sight of the big man. He raises an arm into the air and then brings it down as he begins throwing both arms down to his sides hard, warming up like a MMA fighter would before a fight. Monster begins shadow boxing in sync with the song and begins his descent down the ramp high-fiving and bumping fists with the fans along the way. The words "Feel the power of a warrior" play and some in the crowd begin chanting the next part of the song.
Fans: "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"Let's get ready to rumble!"
Fans: "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Monster throws his arms in the air each time they chant the word "fight", pumping them up more. Monster finishes ringside and walks the steps up to the ring. Without even grabbing the top rope, he throws one huge leg over and repeats with the other, effortlessly stepping over the ropes and into the ring. Monster immediately heads to the opposite side of the ring and throws his arms in the air just as the song is coming to the next chorus. Monster pumps his arms in the air in sync with the chanting crowd.
"Feel the power of a warrior!"
Fans: "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"Let's get ready to rumble!"
Fans: "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"A gladiator's left-hand hook!"
Fans: "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Sasha Greene: And their opponent…
The lights slowly fade to black. Flashes of cameras give intermittent glimmers of the darkened surroundings. There is a moment of silence as the crowd awaits with anticipation. The Tron slowly illuminates with the image of a ticking clock as the opening drum beats to Breaking Benjamin’s “Evil Angel” echo throughout the arena. The crowd suddenly comes alive as the guitars make themselves heard. As the first verse begins to play, he finally appears on the top of the stage…
…DOMINATOR…
The Zenith glares towards the crowd massed to his left, then to his right before slowly raising his left arm into the air, revealing a gold plated watch that envelopes his wrist. A shower of orange sparks begin to fall from the top of the Tron, briefly masking the Entrance Video as Dominator shows off his bulging biceps to the crowd.
Sasha Greene: From Salisbury, England. He weighs 365lbs, the PCW Underground Champion, DOMINATOR!
He slowly walks down the ramp with a gleam in his eye, a wicked and arrogant smirk spread amidst his dark stubble. He makes no attempt to slap hands with the fans. He reaches the ring apron, grabbing the middle rope to haul him onto the side of the ring. He pushes down the top rope with his right hand, throwing one foot over the top before the other follows. He slowly makes his way to the center of the ring, turning a full three hundred and sixty degrees to admire the capacity crowd before raising his arms in the air in the exact same manner as he had done atop the entrance ramp, lifting them with malicious purpose to display the watches covering his wrists.
He cricks his neck back and forth before swinging his arms in preparation for the impending fight. All the while, that devious smile is still on his face and he looks to make eye contact with his opponent without a single hint of intimidation. The music slowly fades, the lights returning to a more average level of illumination as Dominator waits with masked enthusiasm for the start of the match.

The reigning, defending, Underground Champion, has little regard or patience for things like R-E-S-P-E-C-T, so Darren finds out quickly what it means to him, as Dominator goes on the attack. He catches Monster in mid bow, compacting him in the corner with a bull rush. While he has the giant sized equal stunned, Dominator throws down some Grimm tested, Grimm approved, headbutts with thunderous force. The sound is almost like coconuts crashing into each other, but amplified. There’s nothing fun about being on the receiving end. A series of four is missing a sibling, as Stacy Jones unwisely hops onto Dominator’s back with a sleeperhold. Dominator walks out of the corner calmly. While he frisks for Stacy’s head, Darren recovers long enough to introduce the champ to his long reach.
It has no effect.
Monster reaches back and delivers another knuckle sandwich. That too has no effect. Stunned by this development, he begins working Dominator’s body over with boxing punches. Those DO take a toll. Stacy remains choking the life out of the Zenith, as the two of them work together to take him down to a knee! That is until Dominator flings Stacy over his head and into the arms of Silvaira. Stacy breaks the alliance as she throws fists to the side of his head. She flips herself upside down, but the hurricanrana isn’t going to work on someone of Monsters’ size. Dominator charges both of them into the corner, crushing their bodies together with force. He rips Stacy right-side up with one arm and then throws her head over heels with a sickening crash to the back of her head and neck. As she rolls out of the ring, Silvaira takes a punishing boot to his face.
Dominator sends him to the ropes. On the rebound he presses him high over his head. Monster breaks free and gets behind the champ! Dominator finds himself heaved in the air like he were nothing. An Argentine backbreaker is converted into a spinning neckbreaker. Stacy Jones reintroduces herself with a 450 splash, landing on both behemoths! She rolls under the bottom rope to retrieve a pair of steel chairs. As Dominator and Darren get to a knee, she tosses the steel into each of their faces, then dents it right back with a spinning roundhouse kick! She pushes the chairs out of the ring and returns with a kendo stick. Again, she picks the right moment to beat the hell out of them, with the faithful yelling “OW!” with each ricocheting shot. She places it across her shoulders and initiates an airplane spin. The ends of catch them in the face over and over. Having enough fun, she somehow scores with a Russian leg sweep using the kendo stick for assistance. Stacy covers Dominator.

He presses her in the air, only she ends up landing on top of Darren!
1.
He presses her in the air, and this time she lands on Dominator!

The press occurs for a third time as Stacy lands back on Darren!

2.
Barely a two before she’s thrown back to Dominator, who wisely gets his knees up. Stacy folds inward as she clings to her midsection. Dominator and Darren are back to their feet now. Monster starts in on muay thai kicks to the champ’s legs. Dominator absorbs the punishment, but ends up being surprised with a high knee to his chin. The champ is against the ropes now, taking palm strikes to the chest and face. Remembering how things started, Dominator finds himself being headbutted. He shoves Monster back on his heels, but that just allows him to charge with a running big boot that dumps him clear over the top rope and to the floor!
Jerry Andrews: A battle of two titans with Monster getting the better of the champ there. There aren’t many who can match height and size with him, but Darren Silvaira is an exception.
Ace Anderson: It may take both him and Stacy to put the champ down, though. Dominator has been an imposing champion since winning the title, and has only ONE loss to his name.
Monster turns in time to catch a leaping Stacy Jones in mid-air. She’s rammed into every single corner with her lower lumbar taking the brunt against the top turnbuckles. Stacy has the air driven out of her body as Monster buries his shoulder into her midsection. The grimace on her face tells the story of how hard the impact was. While slumped across Darren’s right shoulder, she hits a TORNADO DDT from out of nowhere!! Stacy favors her midsection as she tries to catch her breath, but her positioning allowed her to stun her fellow challenger. The fans themselves are caught off guard by that.
But there is another Monster to contend with, and he’s not happy or alone.
Dominator has brought a fire extinguisher with him. He sets it down for the time being. Dom power walks to Silvaira. He dead lifts him off the mat into a powerbomb...make that A RUNNING POWERBOMB with Monster being THROWN THROUGH A TABLE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!! Silvaira is folded over amongst the plunder as chants of HOLY SHIT break out. The champion has had enough. Cameras pick up the name MATTHEWS written on the extinguisher before it’s picked up. Stacy is pulled to her feet by one hand and sent forward to the ropes. Dominator THROWS the extinguisher like it were a God damn torpedo! It catches Jones flush in the face as she whiplashes against the ropes. Dominator BLASTS her with a gore, delivering her in an awkward position on her head and neck, the latter of which she immediately clings to. Dominator rolls the extinguisher to the center of the ring as he again, collects Stacy, who looks to be injured. ANACHRONISM ON THE EXTINGUISHER releases the fire-squelching agent all over the place. Jones’ face is a bloodied mess. Dominator stares down the direction of where he dumped Darren Silvaira while scoring a pin.

3!
The bell is called for and so is medical help for Stacy Jones. Breaking Benjamin’s “Evil Angel” echoes throughout the arena as the Zenith stands triumphant yet again.
Sasha Greene: Here is the winner of the match and STILL Underground Champion, Dominator!
Jerry Andrews: Dominator has retained for another night and if I’m Johnny Matthews, I’m wondering how I survive an angry giant.
Ace Anderson: Johnny Matthews will have his day at Return to Glory, but I’m concerned about Stacy Jones right now...
Jerry Andrews: Medics are carefully attending to her and are paying close attention to her neck.
Darren has finally returned to the ring. Concern is shown in his eyes as Stacy is given the stretcher treatment.
Dominator rolls out of the ring with his Underground title and grabs a microphone from the timekeeper.
Dominator: Cut the music! I SAID CUT THE DAMNED MUSIC!
His theme abruptly stops as Dominator rolls back into the ring.
Dominator: Johnny? Where are you, Johnny? What’s the matter? Have you come to realise that your blindsided attacks have become too predictable?
He looks around the perimeter of the ring, glancing into the crowd, as if trying to pick out any potential nook or cranny that Matthews might appear from. However, there is no indication of Matthews’ presence.
Dominator: Don’t you find it ironic how this has come full circle. After all, it was the last Icey Awards back in December where you decided to put your nose in my business. Now, more than seven months later, we find our personal war coming to a close. This, my friend, is the end of the line. Quite literally.
With that, Dominator climbs over the top rope and heads under the ring apron, reaching beneath the fabric flap and withdrawing… a baseball bat. He admires it for a moment.
Dominator: You’ve screwed with me for the last time, John. I’m going to make you regret the day that you interfered in my business. You will regret all of the blindsided attacks, all the mind games, all the self grandeur and that terribly misconstrued perception that you can actually hold a candle to me. All of it… I’m going to force you to make amends…
He smirks, looking at the bat once again.
Dominator: …and I’m going to do that… RIGHT… NOW!
With that, Dominator drops the microphone at ringside and marches up the entrance ramp, leaving a puzzled crowd behind him. Even as he strides through the curtain at the back of the stage, the cameras continue to follow him even as he descends the steps into the backstage corridors.
Jerry Andrews: What is he talking about? He’s going to make Johnny Matthews make amends here tonight? What will this mean for their match at Return to Glory?
Ace Anderson: Who knows? I guess we’re going to find out though.
Dominator casually twirls the bat in his hands as he navigates the labyrinth of hallways. It takes a minute or more, but The Zenith eventually comes to a stop by a door with a sign above that reads “Parking Lot.”
The Zenith grins.
He steps through the door and immediately scours the area. He lets out another grin as he sees one vehicle that sticks out above all the others; a satin-black 1958 Ford pickup; a custom built marvel amongst the limos, production vehicles and 4X4s.
Jerry Andrews: That’s Johnny Matthews’ truck; Sinister!
Ace Anderson: What kind of douche nicknames a vehicle that?
Jerry Andrews: Why don’t you say that to Johnny Matthews’ face?
Ace Anderson: Are you calling him a douche?
Jerry Andrews: What? No, I… I’m mean you call him a… y’know what, forget it.
Apparently blinded from the potential consequences as a result of his own malice, Dominator lets out a wicked smirk before winding the baseball bat behind his back. He swings with all his might, shattering the driver’s window into a million shards as Matthews screams in agony to the damage done to the vehicle that is his pride and joy. Dominator takes a step forward, bolting the rounded tip of the bat into the windscreen so that hundreds of cracks ripple from the point of impact that a rock dropped onto a frozen lake.
Jerry Andrews: This is NOT going to sit well with Johnny Matthews!
Despite the damage that has been done, he does not look content. He tosses the baseball bat to the ground with a heavy clatter before walking to most central point of the vehicle’s side. He adjusts the waistline of his pants, pulling him up before reaching underneath Sinister‘s frame, bending his knees in preparation.
Jerry Andrews: There’s no way… THERE’S NO WAY!
Ace Anderson: He’s not going to do this, surely!
Undeterred by the impossibility of the challenge set out for himself, The Zenith takes a long, deep breath before forcibly elevating himself. Dominator grunts and groans as he tries to lift Sinister off the ground. The chassis of the custom Ford pickup makes the same aggravated sounds. With a monumental amount of effort, Dominator lifts the vehicle so that both of the wheels either side of him are lifted off the ground! The truck is being lifted higher and higher with every passing second.
Jerry Andrews: I can’t believe this! Dominator is lifting a vehicle that weighs about FOUR THOUSAND POUNDS!
Ace Anderson: You actually know the weight of that thing? Man, get a hobby!
The weight on the opposite side of Sinister is beginning to assist with the ease of which Dominator lifts it. There is a loud slamming sound from nearby. Dominator is inches away from tipping the vehicle over, when Dominator is suddenly clubbed from behind.
It’s Johnny Matthews!
Sinister comes crashing back down, somehow and luckily not crushing Dominator under its weight as he loses his grip. Matthews begins wailing on Dominator as he lands flat on his back. The Zenith is able to shift his weight so that he is on top pinning Matthews down on the concrete, The Underground King wraps his hands around Matthew’s throat, literally trying to strangle him! Officials rush to the scene, trying to pull Dominator off the top of Matthews. He releases his grip, only to swat at the officials. Matthews takes the opportunity to jam his thumb right into Dominator’s eye. The Zenith roars in pain as Matthews wriggles free, crawling over to where the baseball bat had landed. He clutches it in his hands and pushes himself back out to his feet. Before he has the chance to attack, more officials arrive on the scene and try to restrain Matthews. Refusing to let this chance slip by him to inflict his revenge on behalf of Sinister, Matthews thwacks one of the officials with the bat
Jerry Andrews: It is complete pandemonium out there! Someone needs to stop this!
All of a sudden, what seems to be the entire PCW roster rush out into the parking lot. Holden Ross, High Tide, Razor Blade, Tyrone Smith, Muscles Malone, and many others. They are able to come between the two, but Dominator and Johnny Matthews both attempt to fight off those that are blocking them.
The situation seems to come to a stop. The carnage seems to have finally died down. As the bodies begin to make way, we see that Grimm is here, standing in front of Dominator, while Stormm has arrived to hold Johnny Matthews back. The Black Hand stare daggers through Notorious between the sea of PCW superstars separating them.
Jerry Andrews: This whole situation has boiled over! We’re out of time folks… we will see YOU at RETURN TO GLORY!
