Terminator vs. Werewolf vs. Vampire vs. Phoenix
The Phoenix - Rick Majors
The Phoenix has the ability to regenerate again and again - arising from the fallen ashes of its previous self and giving birth to a new version. Rick Majors died and Gabriel rose. Gabriel died and Rick Majors arose once more. The never-ending cycle of torment and triumph has defined the life and career of Rick Majors. Tyler Scott knows this only too well. He has seen multiple cycles of the Phoenix’s existence. He saw Rick Majors rise to glory in NLCW before his internal struggles shattered that. He witnessed Rick Majors battle deep personal and family tragedy to regain his prestigious standing.
Both men would come and go from the professional wrestling ring, as their lives tumbled from darkest valley to highest of peaks. For a long time, Tyler Scott and Rick Majors paths would not cross - separate objects floating in the abyss of what we call the wrestling business. But, one day, that changed. Tyler Scott re-joined Pure Class Wrestling and he once again shared a locker room with Rick Majors. Yet it wasn’t Rick Majors. Tyler found him in mid Phoenix cycle. He found a new reincarnation called Gabriel.
Gabriel was created from the wreckage of Rick Majors. A cataclysmic event caused a huge explosion in which Rick Majors died. That incident was when he met the Vampire. The Phoenix, as his fire was subsiding, came face to face with a creature of the night, Seromine – who extinguished him for good.
The Vampire - Seromine
Seromine was a being of superior intelligence but also possessed a crazed blood thirst. Believed by some to be immortal, he has stalked the Earth for thousands of years. His methodical and callous plans were often years, decades or even centuries in the making. He would use any and all resources to achieve his evil objectives. Him and the humans were the only creatures on the planet to master the manipulation of other beasts to do their bidding.
Often, the Vampire would hire or join forces with other creatures for mutual gain. These creatures typically had skills and strengths which he himself did not possess. He controlled other creatures such as bats and wolves, using their sonar and sense of smell to find enemies, to mercenary killings. Seromine would hire witches to conjure spells to protect him. He favourite of the all the witches was Destiny. She also happened to be the ugliest of all the witches that had ever lived.
But there was always the potential for his perfectly laid plans to be scuppered by his own primal instincts. The smell of iron-rich blood in the air was enough to render him as senseless at the beasts he controlled. The thirst would take over. All logical thought left his body as his rabid urges griped his every being and did not relent until his thirst was satisfied - when every drop has been sucked dry.
His greatest weakness was not being able to be exposed to daylight. A little sunlight causes immediate and agonising burns to the vampires skin. Prolonged exposure meant total disintegration into dust. Seromine was, therefore, confined to the darkness. His plans for domination were hampered. His nocturnal existence restricted him to lair during the day - valuable time which could be spent biting more humans in the neck.
The Phoenix, with its tail of flames, provided an alternative light source. Unlike sunlight, the luminance from the Phoenix was subtle. It did not burn the vampires skin. Seromine has found a magical light-giving being which had the power to draw people towards it. Seromine would make an offer to the Phoenix. In exchange for his light, Seromine would offer the Phoenix immortality - the chance to never died and be reborn again. He offered the Phoenix the chance to reverse the cycle - to grow younger, stronger and brighter with every day that passes. The Phoenix, having endured millennia of excruciatingly long deaths, accepted the offer of the vampire.
The Phoenix used its beauty and glow to attract flocks of humans. He would fly high above towns and villages, mesmerising the inhabitants with the shimmering multicoloured lights. During daylight hours, Rick Majors would go out and recruit unbeknownst volunteers. He would bring the weak and vulnerable back to Seromine’s lair without the need for vampire to step one foot outside. A string of snacks were brought his way by the Phoenix. But the Phoenix provided much than that. He also brought Seromine new recruits to help him build his army. The Phoenix brought a werewolf and a terminator.
The Werewolf - Holden Ross
Seromine’s most loyal solider was a werewolf by the name of Holden. Holden was an imposing figure as a man, but grew into a ferocious beast when the sun set. When the moon is in full view, his eyes would turn the deepest red and spines sprouted from his back.
With wiry hair, gruesome teeth and horrific bad breath, Holden Ross was actually smellier as a human than as a werewolf. But with razor sharp claws and an unrelenting stamina, the werewolf was a valuable commodity. Seromine used Holden to do all his dirty work. When he needed an enemy to be disposed of, but could not be bothered to do it himself, Seromine would send the brainless moronic Holden to do it. Holden, with a brain smaller than a pea, had no independent thought. He just went along with whatever Seromine desired.
The Terminator - Tyler Scott
Seromine, in his dictator-like desperation to hold onto and gain more power, would turn to another being to help bolster his ranks. Tyler Scott was half-man, half machine. Years of brutal neglect of his body had resulted in countless agonising surgical repairs. Brittle un-healing bones were kept from breaking by metal implants. Silicon joints held them together. Circuitry replaced his nervous system. Electrodes decided what he felt and what he didn’t.
At first the industrial and biological would coexist in harmony, each giving strength to the other. The man-made gave strength to the man. But soon the tensions appeared. The human parts degraded. The robotic parts malfunctioned. There was constant conflict between the mechanical and the natural. In this left hand, the fingers would go cold, warm up, tingle and touch. The right hand was dominated by shockwaves and violent impulses.
Tyler Scott was a broken man with no purpose. He roamed this land alone and searching for any opportunity to make a living. He was at his lowest point. It was then that he saw the Phoenix in the distance. The glow attracted Tyler Scott like an oasis in a desert. Seromine had heard a rumour of a nomad cyborg and had sent the Phoenix to recruit the Terminator.
Seromine saw the potential in Tyler Scott. Seromine loved working with humans – it was a hobby of his. He enjoyed the challenge of manipulating a similar mind. However, he could also see the advantages of having a cyborg by his side – another weapon in his arsenal.
Seromine promised Tyler Scott success and glory. He would return the Terminator to the top of the food chain in exchange for his undying loyalty, as he did with his other recruits.
But soon it became apparent that Seromine could not fulfil his promises.
The Phoenix was not immortal. Gabriel continued to die a long and painful death under the stewardship of Seromine. His fire burned more brightly but much quicker. Soon, the short lived success were replaced with sadness and torment. Seromine had used and abused Gabriel.
The Terminator was promised success and, whilst he came close to tasting glory, Seromine could not save him.
The Phoenix turned on his master. He spat fire which burnt the pale insipid skin of Seromine.
The Terminator grabbed Seromine by the neck with his robotic arm and threw him aside.
Holden Ross, being the moron he is, did not realise what was happening and just sat around licking his butt.
The four mythical creatures collide....
To be continued.
A Leaving Note
Dear Seromine,
Seromine you are a master manipulator.
You persuaded Rick Majors to join your cult. You convinced him to sell his soul and give up everything that made him, even his name.
I very nearly did the same. But Seromine, you will never ever take away my identity. You will never change my name.
Seromine may have given me the strength, the will and the confidence to rise to the main event. However, in duplicate defeats to Kyle Shane I realised that you were nothing but a fake. You made promises you could not keep. You lied to Rick Majors and you lied to me.
You told me that you could save me. But the truth is, Seromine - you cannot save me.
There is no soul on this planet that can help me.
What is left of me is in pain.
What has been replaced is defective.
I am eroding.
I am imploding.
NOBODY CAN SAVE ME!
And, fuck it, if I am going down - I am taking Seromine and his fucking lackey Holden Ross down with me.
