It's the Trauma 10th anniversary and I want to know what you want to see on the show. Here are a few options: ◽ The start of the title tournament to name a single PCW Champion (as outlined in this thread) that will conclude at Mass Destruction ◽ Three championship matches (World, North American, Genesis) that will give us three champions. These three champions will face off in a Triple Threat Match at Mass Destruction to name a single champion ◽ A triple threat match at the tenth anniversary show between the current World, North American, and Genesis Champions to name a single champion ◽ A card created by the roster. You guys would arrange your own matches in a separate thread. ◽ Something else (let me know what you have in mind by replying to this post) Please vote in this thread for your choice. Voting will close on Wednesday.

I voted for Three Championship Matches, but I was torn between that and the Triple Threat Match. Either way, I figure Gerard and/or Grimm could use their title shots to insert themselves in a match at Mass Destruction. Anyone not involved in whatever match ends up winning can take part in some crazy gimmick match (which may or may not also decide their place in the line for contendership) at the 10th Anniversary...unless the title tournament wins, in which case never mind.
I do like this idea of merging the titles, because that puts everyone in the same pot, so to speak. With everyone in line for this one championship I would assume it would add a bit more incentive to show up each cycle -- 'cause we need to give the front office and the mules a reason to keep putting these things together. And if that doesn't do it, well, we sure had fun, didn't we?

I really like the idea of starting the tournament. Everyone loves a good Tournament.

I don't think an "Undisputed Championship" makes any sense at all. If you want to do a tournament, deactivate the Gen and NA titles as of MD, and just do a bracket to crown the last World Champ at MD before what is likely an inevitable hiatus. I don't think we have to call it anything more than what it is. My main concern is, I've actually been trying to build a story around the World title since the beginning of last year, the matches with Willard, leading into the Matches with Grimm, which was supposed to culminate at MD with a big triple threat match between Stormm, Grimm, and Gerard Angelo. Kind of hate to see all that planning get shit on because of all the other inactivity. Plenty of PMs going around with feud partners and stuff to actually give a story to the division, among other character development around that, and I don't really want to see the rug get yanked from under it like this. Couple all the shit I went through last year, and still getting my RPs up when I was booked, and continued to build story as well, call me selfish or whatever you want, but don't really want to see the (my) World title played like that. Would hate to see the opportunity for the match that Grimm, Gerard Angelo, and I have been building up for Mass Destruction to be taken away from us as well. Maybe that's just me, I don't know. Either way... My $0.02!

Well, yeah, when you put it that way...
If past calendars remain accurate, we have the 10th Anniversary Show, 2 Traumas, and Mass Destruction. We could go with Rick's initial idea of booking our own matches for the anniversary show (I suspect that sort of thing would lead to good RP participation, and we could even angle some crazy finishes), the next 2 Traumas could admittedly be hit or miss if late 2020 is any indicator -- in which case maybe make those two also more gimmicky matches or something, or building towards something big with the Genesis and North American titles (looking at the roster I don't know what that would be), and then Mass Destruction, which Stormm is correct in stating there has been something brewing for a while.
Since Rick mentioned it in his address, and Stormm referenced the likely inevitable hiatus in his post, I suspect it's something we all acknowledge is possible if not probable. So unless some folks come out of the woodwork soon and stay consistently active, I guess what we need to decide is how we want to wrap things up (again, possibly, if not probably). There is, after all, only so much one can do with 8 characters (2 of which are handled by the poor guy running this place).
I will also go on record to say I'm not a fan of cruising for members or looking for feds to merge with. I've never seen that work very well, and at this point in my efedding career (let's face it, none of us are getting younger and responsibilities aren't going away) I'd just as soon stick with good ol' PCW as-is, and let the chips fall where they may.
TL;DR -- I don't know. On the one hand, the title merging process would be an interesting shot-in-the-arm, but on the other hand, it would be disappointing to toss all the material Stormm / Grimm / Gerard had been building with, and what we've been working towards. And either way, our numbers and participation are what they are. I'm not any help.
EDIT - After rereading the thread, Stormm's suggestion in his first paragraph combines both options pretty well, as long as the Stormm / Grimm / Gerard angle can play out before the tournament winner gets involved.

If we keep things going, we can't have three champions when the roster has eight members. I'll give up the Genesis title right now if it helps. That's not the issue. But what do we do with the rest of the roster heading into Mass Destruction if Grimm/Stormm/Angelo (three of our most consistent roleplayers) are in the main event? Perhaps Majors and Loki could feud to unify their titles?
I'm honestly not sure if it's workable going forward. My reasoning for suggesting the tournament was that it would give people something to do between now and Mass Destruction and maybe some feuds could come out of it.
If we leave the Grimm/Stormm/Angelo match as is (which is fine) and do Loki/Majors, we'll have two titles coming out of Mass Destruction. Then we could unify them after? Or are we just delaying the inevitable at this point?

I don't think we have to call it anything more than what it is. I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm trying to understand. Isn't that the same thing as the tournament I suggested? Deactivating the titles and crowning a new world champion at Mass Destruction?

Also, yes, I want to acknowledge that this storyline involves three of our most consistent roleplayers and I understand that it's disappointing to feel "punished" by the current situation. To be honest, we're all pretty disappointed by the current situation.

It didn't win the poll, but I'm going to go with a card created by the roster. Whether we continue on past this show or not, it seems like that's the best way to handle things. Thanks for your input.

Texas Tim should be in a Texas Death Match...or Texas Bullwhip Match...or one in a feedlot, where the cows can be used as weapons.
