(The scene opens up at American Airlines Arena, where the New Jersey Nets and Miami Heat are about to face off for their first game of their best of seven series. There are some stars about, but nothing like you would see at a Lakers’ game. What is surprising is that in two of the floor seats sit “Mr. Showtime” Mikey Wryght and the beautiful Perfection. Showtime is dress as he would normally in one of his designer black suits with a green dress shirt and his brown and gold aviators. It seems that Showtime is good friends with a few of the player on the New Jersey Nets team and was invited by Vince Carter himself.)
(The players are warming up at this point and time when a few players come on over to greet the Pure Class Wrestling superstar. He’s laughing and chatting it up with some of the NBA stars as they come and go. He is living up the lime light as some of the people begin to chat amongst themselves about Showtime. He jokes about it because he is a ‘Frickin’ Superstar’ but he does completely believe that. He believes it more than anyone else does. Tonight though is all for fun. He has been able to take a little break from his gym and take his beautiful girl out to enjoy the night in Miami.)
(As the players get back into their practice he sits back and enjoys the attention, but he cannot get his mind completely clear. For there are two people that are lingering in his head, Jade and Phinehas Grimm. This week he has been taking it easier then normal, because he is facing off against a girl. Ha! A meager woman is suppose to take down Showtime...Not happening. Showtime has always respected the fact that Pure Class has allowed women to wrestle among the men around here, but every time he has faced one of these women it has ended the same way. In a Mr. Showtime victory. It could be Angelica Night. It could be Chrissy Johnson. It could be Melissa Malone, who he rightful beat in the Pain of Glass match.)
(It looks like these past few weeks were all for Showtime to coast through. First he was in a tag match where Benjamin Banks was wrestling and Showtime always has his number. Then he gets thrown in with a pitiful rookie and we all saw last week how that one turned out. Now he will go up against Jade and though Showtime liked her abilities it really had nothing to do with that. It was all about she was a woman and had no business being in the ring with a superstar of the caliber of Showtime. Sadly it wasn’t her faut, but Showtime didn’t want to go easy on her for downfall...It just doesn’t seem fair.)
(Showtime now chuckling to himself. He seems to find himself humorous, but Perfection sees that he is miles away from the games right now.)
Perfection: You alright?
Showtime: Ha! Huh?
Perfection: ...
Showtime: Yeah sure. I am just thinking about this weeks Trauma. Nothing too serious.
Perfection: Well don’t go too lightly. Jade has been making a bit of an impact since she has arrived in PCW.
Showtime: Yeah, whatever. I’ll be ready for the little minks, I have a bit more on my plate to worry about then her.
Perfection: Well if you keep taking it too easy you will be surprised who will steal the victory from you. That is something that you don’t need is losing a match that you should rightful win, Michael.
Showtime: Thank you for your concern but I know the way tat I must wrestle.
Perfection: I know. I’m just saying...
Showtime: I get it. It’s all because of poor officiating that I am not a champion now. But that will not continue once I get that shot at Phinehas again!
(Just the though of Phinehas gives Showtime a sour taste in his mouth. Showtime is still so bitter that a man that he has faced off against twice and truly didn’t lose either match still wears the title that should be his. All Showtime can do at this point is wait to face off against him again. The next time there will be no strings attached. Showtime will be playing no games and he will make sure that it is just the two of them when it comes down to it. There will be no one else there to lose it for Showtime.)
Showtime: He’ll get his when the time comes. Trust me about that one my dear.
(The smile returns to Showtime’s face, because he is rather sure of himself. The game is about to begin as the stands begin to get louder. The players have left the court and have migrated over towards their respected benches. The coaches are talking with their players to get ready for the beginning of this series. Showtime calls one of the people walking up and down the stairs carrying some snakes for the game. He orders up something for Perfection and himself just before the opening tip off. The players get to center court to get ready and as the referee tosses the ball up for the tip off the scene fades to black and cuts to snow.)
