Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: The usual pyrotechnics display and then we are greeted with an image of the newly crowned PCW World Champion Kyle Cross sitting in the front row, amongst his legions of fans, World Championship draped over his shoulder. After we are reintroduced to the ringside commentators, we head to the first match.
Match One: Singles Match
Maverick Stone vs. Black Ice
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: This Grudge Match was made by the request of Maverick Stone as a result of a match no one but the South Carolina faithful seen, and a match that resulted in a loss for Stone. So, being the man that he is, “The Captain” honored the request by booking the match. However, after both participants were announced, “The Captain” stepped out from the back and stated that, as a request from “The Icemann” to further this match, the match has been cancelled and slated for next week.
Winner
Backstage with Trifection
Details: Before the second match, the PCW-Tron comes on and on it, it shows Sexay Jay, along with Glock Fine and K-Muny, standing backstage with Glenda Wood. Glenda is holding a microphone. One of the questions she asks Jay is, “Why have you been acting the way you have been acting?” His response? “Baby, I’m acting the same way I’ve always done. Me and my boys Muny and Fine ain’t change. It’s ya’ll who changed and look at me differently.” Another one of her questions were about the Aeris Almasy, who Jay had been seen talking with backstage at Revival. Jay’s Answer: “Don’t worry bout her. What I wanna know is what you wanna do? I’m saying, I gots a match to gets to right now, but after, we can head to my room, and ya know, do it like we should.” That response is followed by a slap from Glenda. Glock and Muny immediately jump in front of Jay, preparing to, what seems, to hit Glenda. But Jay backs them off, and then blows a kiss to her. The PCW-Tron then clicks off.
Match Two: Mixed Tag Team Match
Sexay Jay & Aeris Almasy vs. “Pure Class” Tony Brass & Mirage
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: After all four competitors were introduced, all separately mind you, the match began with Aeris and Mirage squaring off. The rules of this match were simple. Men had to fight men, and women had to fight women. This gave PCW’s newest female Superstars the chance to showcase themselves on a semi-even stage. As the match started, the fans got behind the team of Mirage and Brass, even though Brass hadn’t been in the ring. His knee was obviously still hurting him, as he had a brace on and generally, rubbed it a lot. The opening of the match had the two females battling back and forth for a few, until Aeris nailed a perfectly executed face buster. From there on, it was all Almasy. Towards the end of the match however, with neither of the males being tagged in, Mirage was able to convert a side headlock by Aeris to a backdrop. This began her crawling, with the crowd clearly behind her, towards her partner Brass. As she reaches Brass and out-stretched her arm, Brass simply turned his back on her...much to the disapproval of the fans, and they let it known, as they booed outrageously. Mirage, whose back was to Aeris, was then blindsided with a dropkick to the back of the head by Almasy. This lead to Jay and Brass coming into the ring. Jay picked up Mirage, and Brass grabbed her aswell, and they held her up as Aeris began slapping the taste of her mouth. Roberto Garcia, making his official PCW referring debut, had no choice but to call for the bell, throwing this match out.
Winner
The New Team in Town
Details: Aeris continued to slap Mirage and then, after a few more, Brass and Jay released their grip, letting Mirage’s limp body fall to the floor. Aeris then was handed a mic from ringside, and had an announcement to make. Roughly what she said was that Brass and Jay have decided to team up, and join forces with her...she as their manager- a manager not scared to get inside the ring and battle it out with anyone. She then went and put down Smith, Angelica Night, Pandora, Kyle Cross, and Mirage. She says, as an example of Jay’s and Brass’s new unity, they were going to demonstrate on Mirage, making references to any of the PCW tag teams as mere women. As Brass and Jay picked up Mirage again, from out of the back came PCW’s newest tag team, a team that had a chance later on that night to win the Tag Team Championships- Josh McKylan, the husband of Mirage, and The Painted Assassin! They came in like a house on fire, and, Jay and Brass, seemingly not wanting to do with the duo, hopped out of the ring, Aeris not far behind. McKylan was heard spouting off at a grinning Sexay Jay and Tony Brass as the feed faded to a commercial.
A Divine Congratulations
Details: After the commercial break, we were “treated” with an appearance of Landon Divine. He was in the ring with a mic. After basically running down the quality of the Revival Pay-Per-View, and the cheap shot done by that “cheap skank Angelica Night, who probably sleeps with the gross looking Alejandro Walker”, Divine turned his attention to the new World Champion, who was still seated in the front row. He congratulated Cross on being able to squeak by Jay at the Pay-Per-View and scoffed at the fact that if Jay had more time to prepare, and not had to wrestle too other times, to Cross’s one other, then Jay more than likely would have walked out the Champion. But it didn’t matter now, for Landon said his sights were much higher than the North American Championship. In fact, it was much higher than the International Championship. He stated, since his skills were far more superior than any current and past PCW Superstar, and stated, since he has to wrestle in this company until his contract is up, he might aswell make it respectable by winning the World Championship. And he said that he had talked to “The Icemann” about it, and Luis said that next week, he’ll be on Trauma to make it official for the next PPV, which has yet to be given a name and date. Cross, though looking intrigued, didn’t say much and then Landon left the ring.
Match Three: Singles Match
LoKi vs. The Prophet
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: LoKi must have been devastated after finding out that he had to wrestle against the newest PCW Superstar, who had came in with a ton of buzz and controversy surrounding him, especially since he had to face him, him being The Prophet, in his first match since Revival, which he had came close to, but not able to win, the International Championship after a grueling Pain of Glass Match with Pegasus. LoKi was sent to the hospital following that match, for a significant amount of blood lost, and now, he’s here having to face The Prophet. Tough noodles. You could obviously tell LoKi wasn’t in the right frame of mind as he was basically demolished by The Prophet, his injuries from Revival being evident in why this was happening. The match went on for a good 6 minutes before LoKi even was able to get in some offense. And it was offense from a defensive standpoint, as The Prophet had miscalculated a Diving Elbow Drop from the top ropes. LoKi had rolled out of the way and then nailed a release German Suplex. But the impact wasn’t there as LoKi hadn’t had the strength to nail it as he would have liked. Prophet was then able to get to his feet and nail LoKi with the Fall from Grace. This lead to him placing LoKi in The Revelation, an iron-claw type finisher. With the blood lost LoKi had suffered at Revival, and he clearly not being 100%, LoKi passed out, giving The Prophet his first PCW win at the 10 minute and 46 second mark.
Winner
Match Four: North American Championship Match
Angelica Night (Champion) vs. Pandora
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: In the match that was officially billed as a Non-Title Match, Angelica requested that the title be on the line before the match. Once that decision was made, the two females squared off. For the first 3 minutes of the match, Pandora’s new training seemed to have been paying off, as she stunned the North American Champion with a flurry of offensive maneuvers. But that was short-lived, for, around the 6 minute mark, Angelica showed why she is the North American Champion. She combated with Pandora and then, finally finished her off at and around the 9 minute mark with the Nightfall, followed by the pinfall.
Winner[s:] Angelica Night via pinfall
After the Match...
Details: Angelica celebrated her win, but not for long, as Landon Divine came out and just, well, did nothing. He shook his head in disapproval and then just left...leaving Angelica confused.
Match Five: Non-Title Singles Match
Pegasus (International Champion) vs. Vic Cabot
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details Coming fresh off of a win at the Revival PPV over LoKi in a Pain of Glass match, Pegasus is riding high on a wave of confidence as he steps into the ring with PCW newcomer, Vic Cabot. Vic Cabot comes out first to mixed reactions, while Pegasus is easily the crowd favorite as they erupt on his entrance. Both men circling the ring, shaking hands out of respect. An early tie-up sees Vic Cabot on the attack, exploiting the fact the Pegasus was still fairly banged up from his encounter with LoKi. An early flurry of punches leaves Pegasus on the ropes, but a quick kick to the gut followed by a Snapmare Takedown leaves Pegasus firmly in control. Working Vic over like the ring veteran that he is, the next few moments see Pegasus utilize many high-impact manuevers including a spectacular Tigerbomb that leave Vic Cabot in a whole WORLD of hurt. The momentum now solidly in his favor, Pegasus begins his final attack, hitting a thunderous Guiding Light at the 7 minute, 43 second mark for the 1-2-3.
Winner
Match Six: Tag Team Championship Match
Smith (Champion) vs. The Painted Assassin & Josh McKylan (accompanied by Ducky and Mirage)
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: Smith was unable to find a partner in this match, so he basically had to face an already upset Josh McKylan and his wacky tag team partner, or in his case, his “hired gun”, The Painted Assassin, who was wearing his tutu and who had carried his duck to ringside, in a Handicap Match. Smith didn’t look as confident after he was basically handed the Tag Team Titles at Revival, and it appears he hadn’t even changed his clothes since then, as a wet spot is still on his ring attire as it had been at the Pay-Per-View. TPA started the match off with Smith and immediately began whooping up on the sole Tag Team Champion. Shortly, after an urging to release frustration by his partner, TPA tagged in Josh McKylan. Josh made short work of the Champ as he hit him with all his trademark moves, including The Upheaval and the Slice and Dice. He then nailed his finisher, the Hyper Ubber Something or another and quickly went for the pin, and got the win at the 4 minute and 17 second mark.
Winners
After the Match...
Details: As Josh and TPA are handed their newly won Tag Titles by Mirage, “So Fresh, So Clean” by Outkast begins to play and from behind the entrance curtain stands Sexay Jay, Tony Brass, and Aeris Almasy. Aeris has a mic and speaks out, telling the new Champs, “Enjoy the win. After the lil stunt ya’ll put on earlier, I have an idea. How about, at the next Pay-Per-View, you put those little belts of yours on the line against “Pure Class” Tony Brass and Sexay Jay. REAL WINNERS! That is, unless you’re too scared. We’ll be waiting for your answer.”
Before the Match...
Details: Before the Main Event, which is pitting Kyle Cross against Slither, Landon Divine comes to the ring and takes a seat at ringside. Not at the broadcast booth, but rather, he brought his own chair and sat it down.
Match Seven: Non-Title Singles Match
Kyle Cross (World Champion) vs. Slither
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: Kyle Cross made his way to the ring via the crowd, title still draped over his shoulder. Slither then came to the ring and the match began. The match started off fairly even, with neither man getting the upperhand on the other. The match, actually, didn’t pick up until the end. The beginning and middle of the match was filled in with a bunch of offense for both men. But at the end, Slither surprised the new World Champ with the Soul Breaker. He got the pin, but the wily Champ kicked out just in the nick of time. This made Landon Divine jump into the ring and take Slither out with the chair he had been sitting on. The ref immediately sounded for the bell.
Winner
A Divine Reason...?
Details: Divine laid Slither out with the chair, but we don’t know why. Perhaps next week we’ll know. But as the feed was coming to a close, Kyle was stirring...Slither was stirring...and Landon was raising the World Championship in the air.
