Live on E! from the sold-out Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: The arena is jam-packed. In attendance is Carolina native Petey Pablo. Also, sitting in the front row like usual, is current PCW World Champion Kyle Cross, who is sitting belt-less, since Landon Divine never gave it back to him at the end of Trauma last week. It was also stated that "The Icemann" was going to be in the building and Alejandro Walker was not. But Luis had yet to arrive. Then we went straight into the action.
Match One: Singles Match
Pandora vs. Aeris Almasy
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: The match begins with the two locking up and engaging in your normal light weight chain maneuvers, with leg sweeps, head locks, back flips, etc. Pandora ends up on top by locking Aeris into a headlock which Pandora converts into a running Bulldog. Picking up Aeris, she drops her with a scoop slam. Pandora then executes a leg drop, landing right on Aeris' neck. Pandora is fairly dominate, landing every move she executes. Halfway through the match, Pandora lights up the arena by launching Aeris into the ropes and pretty much breaking Aeris in half with a mind-blowing spear take down. She just misses a three cover, and then decides to lock in a full nelson. Aeris begins to power her way into a standing position and, breaking out of it, kicks Pandora in the stomach and executes a face buster. As Aeris only gets a two count, she pulls Pandora to her feet and executes an Irish whip into an immediate clothesline. Only getting a one count this time, she starts stomping on Pandora. After being lifted to the ground, Pandora is taken out with a snap suplex, which Aeris links with a pin. She only gets the two count this time, and now she is angry. She begins stomping furiously on Pandora but something catches her eye- it's Mirage coming down the ramp! Aeris is now in the middle of the ring, waiting for Mirage to come down. Mirage does not even go into the ring, but rather points behind Aeris who, when she turns around, is laid out by a super kick and is immediately covered by Pandora for the three count. Mirage stares for a moment, laughing at what she saw, seeing her revenge worked. Aeris, on the other hand, sat up glaring at both Pandora, who was celebrating with the strong victory, and Mirage who was laughing as she made her way to backstage. The match lasted 8 minutes and 13 seconds.
Winner
Match Two: Singles Match
Mirage vs. The Prophet
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: Jumping right into the match, Mirage made her way out for the second time in a five minute span. Once both competitors were in the ring, the match began. The match was pretty much dominated by the male in this match, The Prophet. He was able to use his power, strength, and toughness to craft his way around the wily Mirage. But don't let this summary fool ya! Mirage was able to atleast not be a push-over, ocaassionally getting the upper-hand on her PCW Rookie counterpart The Prophet. But, it was the presence of Aeris Almasy that solidified Prophet's win. When Aeris's music played, Mirage waited for her to show up. But she never did. It was just enough of a distraction for Prophet to nail her with The Revelation, forcing Mirage to submit.
Winner
Match Three: Grudge Match
Maverick Stone vs. Black Ice
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: The match begins with Maverick Stone immediately going after the immensely out of shape Black Ice, dropping him with a Lou Thesz drop and immediately pounding on him. Keeping him down with a series of scoop slams and strikes to the torso, Maverick then picks up Ice and whips him into the ropes and as Ice comes running back he is immediately laid out flat with a chest thump by Stone. After a few basic moves, Maverick picks up Ice again and finally goes for the finishing touch with a Fisherman Suplex which goes straight into the easy pinfall. The match lasted only 5 minutes and 13 seconds.
Winner
The new Hunter in Town...
Details: Stone was not done with Ice, and slid out of the ring and grabbed a chair by the announcers' table. Getting back in again, Stone waited for Ice to get to his feet. As Ice stood there groggedly and turned around, he was immediately laid out by a devastating chair shot to the face which knocked him out. Stone began pounding on Ice with the chair, when suddenly, the arena lights go out. On the PCW-Tron, a video package featuring Sean Hunter plays, showing the highlights of his career. After the video plays, words come across the screen and a voice booms over the PA system, reading it. It says, "When you aim for perfection, you discover you're a moving target." Quickly, the lights go on and, right behind Stone, Sean Hunter is waiting there for him to turn. Once he does, Sean drops Stone with a strong right hand, and Stone rolls out of the ring and starts cowering up the ramp. Sean Hunter is now in the ring, laughing at Stone and shaking his head.
The belt is mine!
Details: As Landon Divine is entering the arena, you can see something over his shoulder…THE WORLD TITLE! Landon Divine somehow makes it to the ring before Kyle Cross, otherwise calm at ringside, springs up and into the ring. Before Kyle can even breath on Landon, though, he slides out of the ring and security immediately pounces on Cross, holding him back. They drag him from the ring and past Landon, and you can hear Cross cursing and yelling at Landon, saying "THE BELT IS MINE! THE BELT IS MINE!" As Cross is about to leave, he looks back just in time to see Diving hold the title in the air and then point at his chest, laughing.
Match Four: Singles Match
Landon Divine vs. Slither
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: The match starts with the larger Slither punching Divine into the corner, and then starting to beat down on him. Slither whips Divine into the opposite corner and then follows through with an elbow right to the chest. Immediately he begins to stomp on Divine who he just dropped, beating him into a pulp. Pulling Divine up, Divine lands a few body shots and then slaps the hands of Slither away. Without hesitation, he kicks Slither in the stomach and then drops him with a DDT which leads into a head lock which he holds until the ref breaks them up. Divine stands for a moment next to Slither, but then jumps on the turnbuckle and waits for him to get up. Once he does, he dives off the turnbuckle, but Slither counters by stepping out of the way, sending Divine straight into the mat and skidding across. Slither quickly takes advantage of this and picks up divine and places his head between his legs. Lifting Divine off the ground, he drops him for the Jackknife powerbomb not once, not twice, but three times and goes for the pin, managing to just miss the three count. Slither gets up and starts pounding on Divine, picking him up and tries to execute a suplex, but Divine flips down behind him and executes a dropkick, flattening Slither. He picks Slither up and slaps him in the face, laughing for a moment, and then whips him into the ropes where he comes running back right into a Super Kick! Divine thinks he has the match in the bag and barely gets a two count as Slither pushes Divine off the ground and gets to his feet, send one walloping punch onto Divine after another. Slither whips Divine into the ropes, but Divine comes back to kick Slither in the stomach, and then lands the Lights out! Divine gets the cover and the match lasted 13 minutes and 23 seconds.
Winner
Match Five: Non-Title Tag Team Match
The Painted Assassin & Josh McKylan {Tag Team Champions} vs. "The Onslaught Assassin" Benjamin Banks & Vic Cabot
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: The Tag Team Champions seemed to have an easy match this week when they were facing PCW newcomer Benjamin Banks and a man who suffered defeat from PCW International Champion Pegasus last week- Vic Cabot. And for the most part, they were right. Vic Cabot was the man to start the match and he never got rolling, easily being beaten down by Josh McKylan and The Painted Assassin. The Champs showed good work together, making frequent tags in and out, and not allowing Benjamin to get the tag in. They roughly worked on Vic for about 6 minutes. It wasn't until "Pure Class" Tony Brass and Sexay Jay came out that the Champs were out of it. Tony and Jay came out around the 6 minute and 19 second mark, and caused enough of a distraction for McKylan to allow Vic to tag in Banks- which was a bad move! Banks came in like a house on fire, and took down first McKylan and then TPA with clotheslines. He nailed TPA with a Samoan back drop, and then nailed McKylan with a Dawn Attack, which is a variation of The Pedigree. He went for the pin, but McKylan was able to kick out. Benjamin Banks was bewildered and started pounding the mat in frustration. Tony Brass then got up onto the apron and referee Tim Jones turned his attention to him. This allowed Sexay Jay to slide into the ring. Jay had a chair in hand and leveled The Painted Assassin, Vic Cabot, Benjamin Banks, and then waited until McKylan got up and smashed him in the face with the chair. He then rolled Benjamin over the Tag Champion, and Tony Brass jumped off the apron. The ref soon after counted the three at the 8 minute and 15 second mark.
Winner
After the match...
Details: After it was announced that Benjamin Banks and Vic Cabot pulled the upset win off, Tony Brass and Sexay Jay wasted little time jumping in the ring and beating down all four men. Jay had even busted Cabot open with the chair. This went on for a few moments until a man ran down the aisle and into the ring. This man was then known to be found out as the newest member added to the PCW Roster Ace Anderson! He came out and clotheslined both Jay and Brass over the ropes, and then went and checked on Benjamin.
Match Six: Non-Title Tag Team Match
Pegasus {International Champion} & Angelica Night {North American Champion} vs. Sexay Jay & "Pure Class" Tony Brass
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: Jay and Brass stayed out at ringside following the last match, and waited until the ring was cleared out. Shortly after, Pegasus and Angelica, the International and North American Champions respectively, came down the aisle- together. The match was action packed all the way through, with each person involved in this match taking it to the other at one point or another. The match really was one of, if not, the best match of the night. But a scary moment happened where we seen Angelica attempt a move off the top rope, but lost her balance, and landed awkwardly on the outside. She was then helped to the back and was not able to return. This left Pegasus in a really compromising situation, having to battle Jay and Brass both. He did aswell as he could, but the two on one assault was just too much. He shortly tasted defeat after Jay nailed the Sexay Crunch, which then weakened Pegasus enough for Brass to place him into a torture rack, making Pegasus have no choice but to tap out at the 17 minute and 52 second mark.
Winner
Pegasus's Burning Remembrance...
Details: Directly following the match, the PCW-Tron clicked on and on it showed a man who competed earlier in the evening- The Prophet. No words were spoken, but he probably had the most say of the night, as he burned a picture of Pegasus's dead foster mother. No reasons why were given.
Match Seven: Non-Title Singles Match
"The Scarred Sentinel" Kyle Cross {World Champion} vs. Havik
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: Kyle Cross was allowed back to ringside for his match against Havik. If you remember, he was escorted to the back earlier in the night, where security stayed with him the entire night. But as said, he was allowed back out here for his match. And it's a match he took immediate control of from beginning to end. And it was basically a short match for the World Champ, as he finished the match with his Crossfire Clutch finisher at the 5 minute and 47 second mark.
Winner
"The Icemann" Makes His Presence Known!
Details: Following Cross's match, CEO and Owner of the PCW, "The Icemann" Luis Malave, who were accompanied by security guards, finally made his way out. Cross was still standing in the ring. Luis came to the ring and announced that since the Tag Champs didn't accept the challenge, he's going to book the match himself. So at Return to Glory, which is the name of the PPV, the date will be released via the PCW website later this evening, Josh McKylan and The Painted Assassin will be putting their Tag Team Titles on the line, but not just against Sexay Jay and Tony Brass, but also Benjamin Banks and Ace Anderson! Cross looked like, "What does this got to do with me?". Luis then stated he was told that Angelica Night was injured earlier in her match, and since she was not going to compete for a few weeks, she was to be stripped of her North American Championship. The belt will be placed in a Gauntlet Match with the participants being named next week on Trauma. Finally, what Cross had been waiting for. Here's what Luis told him:
"Cross...I despise you. I gave you a PCW contract so that my boys could show the World how they can dominate a former IWLer, and what happened? You were somehow able to beat both Maniac and Sexay Jay! But that's OK. I realized what I have to do. You got lucky against them, but, your luck has run out. Since, as of this moment, you are hereby stripped of your PCW World Championship and are suspended indefinitely! And, to not have a hold up on the World Title, I think it's only fair for the man holding the World Title at this very moment to be declared PCW World Champion. So, without further ado, please welcome your PCW World Champ...LANDON DIVINE!"
That's where Landon came down to the ring, touting HIS title, taunting it in Kyle's face. Kyle tried to jump at him, but the crowd of security guards prevented that. And that's how Trauma went off the air...Cross being held back and Landon taunting the World Title.
