Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: Following last week's Trauma, the fans are expecting many twist and turns. The crowd is pumped, and many of them are holding up signs which state, "CROSS GOT SCREWED". And a select few, most of those being female, are also holding up, "DIVINE CHAMPION" signs. After the usual intro and pyrotechnics display, we start the evening.
Match One: Singles Match
Pandora vs. Mirage
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: Mirage pretty much dominated this match from start to finish. Pandora seemed unable to mount any offense, and the few times she did, Mirage quickly brought her back down. Pandora seemed lost and confused. But she didn't suffer a pinfall or submission lost, no. Mirage wasn't given the satisfaction, for, at the 4 minute and 27 second mark, Aeris Almasy came down the aisle, and into the ring, and started fighting with Mirage. Referee Tim Jones had no choice but to throw this match out. Before Mirage and Almasy could really get into it though, Officials Roberto Garcia and Travis Wilson ran into the ring and assisted Tim Jones in separating the two ladies.
Winner
Match Two: Singles Match
"The Onslaught Assassin" Benjamin Banks vs. "Pure Class" Tony Brass
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: With Roberto staying in the ring from the effects of the previous match, all we had to wait on was the newcomer Benjamin Banks and his opponent for not only tonight, but at Return to Glory aswell, the undefeated "Pure Class" Tony Brass. The two started off the match pretty even, neither man getting better of the other. Shortly after the match started, around the 2 minute mark, Brass began showing the rookie why he was dubbed the favorite to win this match. He began to out-muscle Benjamin and then hit an assortment of power moves, including a deafening Spinebuster. But Benjamin wasn't out of it. He surprised the wily veteran with a combination of offensive maneuvers of his own, including a Jungle Kick and a Spike Piledriver. Benjamin continued to get the upperhand on the veteran until the end, where he finished off Brass with a Dawn Attack at the 8 minute and 32 second mark, shocking not only Brass with the clean victory, but the World.
Winner
Match Three: Triple Threat Match
Sean Hunter vs. Slash vs. Aeris Almasy
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: The storyline for this match is that both Slash and Sean Hunter are making their PCW debuts, and are trying to impress. Aeris is still trying to get herself a Singles win, and won't have an easy task being pit in-between these two. The match started off fairly decent, with Aeris straying away from the action and the two newcomers battling away. Sean Hunter definitely became the aggressor early in the match, and pretty much dominated through. Aeris made slight attempts to get a pinfall on one or the other when they were down, but her opponent normally quickly disposed of her. Around the 6 minute mark, Mirage came storming out from the back, and upon seeing this, Aeris head out of the ring and over the guard-rail. Mirage followed, and the two then disappeared in the back- leaving Slash and Hunter to battle it out in the ring alone. After a few exchanges back and forth, Sean was able to get the upperhand and finished off Slash cleanly with the Decapitator at the 9 minute and 13 second mark, followed by a three count.
Winner
Presidential Selection
Details: Following the match, with both Sean Hunter and Slash standing in the ring, T.I.'s "Rubber Band-Man" began to pay throughout the arena, which meant one thing, "The Captain" was back! PCW President Alejandro Walker made his way out to the ring, like always, dressed in his Hawaiian shirt, and wearing khaki shorts and sandals. In his right hand was a clipboard, and in his left, a microphone. Slash and Sean Hunter were about to leave the ring as Mr. Walker got there, but Walker insisted for them to stay. After he was settled in the ring, he had the following to say:
"I was pleased with the performance the both of yous put on in the ring moments 'go. As a reward, ya'll gone be two of the participants in the 5 Man Gauntlet Match at Return to Glory for the vacant North American Championship. On this clipboard of mine is yours opponents...."
...The PCW-Tron then clicked on and showed a picture of each of the men Walker announced...
"Your opponents will be Havik...Maverick Stone...and a man making his return to the PCW..."
The arena then turns dim and the familiar tune of, "Wait and Bleed" by Slipknot blares, meaning...yes...it is...it's LoKi, returning from his injury! LoKi makes his way down to the ring, with fans mostly cheering him, and then he enters the ring and hops onto the turnbuckle, raising his arms in the air.
"That's right! LoKi will be the fifth man in the match. As for the way we gone chose who enters when, it'll take place next week, randomly, as I have newest PCW Superstar Chrissy Johnson pull ping-pong balls with ya name on 'em. The order the balls come out, the order ya'll enter."
And with that, the feed fades to commercial.
Another Match Etched in Place
Details: Following commercial break, we are in the back, where Aeris Almasy and Mirage are being separated by officials backstage, just as Alejandro Walker was making his way back there. He then had this to say:
"Since ya'll want eachother so bad, at Return to Glory, ya'll got eachother in a match! Ya would not lay another hand on one another until the Pay-Per-View or yous is fired!"
The feed then fades away with Alejandro walking away.
Match Four: Non-Title Singles Match
Ace Anderson vs. The Painted Assassin {1/2 Tag Team Champion}
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: In his first match in the PCW, Ace Anderson had one heck of a task ahead of him, as he faced one half of the PCW Tag Team Champions, The Painted Assassin. But, actually, it wasn't as tough it as it looked. After both men were introduced, Ace stunned the crowd, just as his partner did earlier in the night, by taking it to the favorite to win the match. Minutes into the match however, we see Sexay Jay and Tony Brass at ringside. This throws both men alittle off-guard at first, but both try to continue on with their match. But they are unable to, for, as soon as TPA whips Ace into the ropes, Sexay Jay sweeps him, and then pulls him outside the ring, and then smashes him face first into the ring post. The ref immediately calls for the bell.
Winner
After the match
Details: With Ace effectively out of the way, Jay and Brass circle around The Painted Assassin. TPA, not having any other choice, then lounges towards the two. But it might have been the worse mistake TPA has ever made in his career. As soon as he lounges forward, Brass and Jay quickly begin pounding on the Tag Champ. Once he is on the ground, Jay slides out the ring while Brass continues to pound on him and grabs a chair from ringside. With boos looming over him, Jay slides back into the ring, and then smashes TPA, in-particular, he smashes TPA's legs. TPA withers in pain, but Jay continues on with the assault, even putting the chair ON the leg and having Brass jump on it. This send McKylan, who had been getting ready for his match against Sexay Jay later, running down to the ring. But it's already too late, the damage has been done. Brass and Jay slide out the ring and then coolly, like nothing had happened, walks to the back, with Ace JUST now stirring, and TPA being assisted to.
Match Five: Non-Title Singles Match
Pegasus {International Champions} vs. Maverick Stone
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: Maverick Stone came into this match, knowing that he'd be one of the participants in the 5 Man Gauntlet Match for the North American Championship at Return to Glory- getting a chance to put his hands on Sean Hunter, the man that interfered in his business last week. As for Pegasus...Pegasus has had alot on his mind lately. Mostly in extracting revenge on Prophet for what HE had did last week. Anyway, the match started off fairly decent, with the International Champion showing Stone why he indeed WAS the Champion. But it went back and forth quite a few times. At around the 7 minute mark, Pegasus seemed ready to try and finish Stone off. But, as he was about to climb up the top rope for the Leap of Faith, the PCW-Tron clicked on, and on it, showed Prophet, a clear image of a burnt rendition of Pegasus's foster mother can be seen hanging in the background. Prophet begins speaking, reminding Pegasus to show up later in the evening, pretty much inserting and demanding Pegasus to be his Tag Team Partner in the Main Event. This throws Pegasus completely out of the match, and Maverick Stone quickly does a school-boy and gets the win, holding onto Pegasus's tights for leverage.
Winner
After the match...
Details: Pegasus looked on in the ring dumbfounded, as the PCW-Tron cut off. A look of rage then engulfed his face as he left the ring...in somewhat of a hurry.
Match Six: Non-Title Singles Match
Josh McKylan {1/2 Tag Team Champion} vs. Sexay Jay
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: McKlayn, one half of the tag team champions and Sexay Jay, would-be tag champion face off in singles action this week. From the opening bell, both men were on top of their games. Back and forth throughout the entire match, neither one of them getting the upperhand over the other. The momentum seems to shift as Jay begins to rally against the tag champion, setting up for the Sexay Kick. However, McKlayn sees this and takes the opportunity to duck underneath the kick. Spinning Jay around, McKlayn catches him by the waist, hoisting him up for a bone-jarring Back Breaker that leaves in Jay in all sorts of trouble. Seizing this opportunity, McKlayn goes to finish Jay off with his devasting Flaring Pain. The move locked firmly in, Jay comes to the brink of submitting a number of times, but somehow manages to get to the ropes and break the hold, though much worse for the wear. Adding insult to injury, McKlayn picks Jay up for The Sublimley Magnificent McKlayn Slam Mark IV, but is shocked to find Jay with enough wherewithal to stun McKlayn with some elbows to the side of the head, followed by The Sexay Crunch! Jay falls on top of McKlayn and Tyrone Little drops to the mat for the 1-2-3, signaling Jay's win at 14 minutes and 49 seconds.
Winner
Match Seven: Non-Title Tag Team Match
Landon Divine {World Champion} & Slither vs. The Prophet & ??
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: The odd pairing of Slither and Landon Divine was a sub-plot to this match. What everyone was wondering was whether International Champion Pegasus was going to come and be The Prophet's partner. But that's beyond the point at the matter, for we had a pretty good match on our hands. Slither started the match off against Prophet, and, after a short-lived offensive fury by Prophet, Slither took advantage. He worked over Prophet for about a minute before he went to tag in Landon. Landon refused to tag in, raising his arms in the air as Slither out-reached, and Prophet again took advantage of the match. Once the tides were again in Slither's favor, he went to make the tag again, and Landon again raised his arms in the air. But, Slither made sure he got the tag this time, by decking Landon, much to the delight of the crowd, right in the mouth. The ref signaled for it to be a legal and binding tag. Landon was forced into the match and, after a quick back and forth, tagged in Slither the same way he was tagged in- with a punch to the mouth. Around this time it was announced that Landon will defending his title against Slither at Return to Glory. Prophet was able to hold off Slither for a few, but Slither fought back. This is all about the time Pegasus came storming to the ring, right when Slither was mounting his attack. Everyone thought Pegasus was there to help The Prophet as he slide in the ring, right past Landon. He pushed Slither out of the way, and then began pounding away at Prophet. The referee didn't and couldn't disqualify the match, since Pegasus was the man deemed as Prophet's partner. Landon then smacked Slither on the back and tagged himself in. He waited a few seconds until he pried Pegasus off of Prophet and then decked him in the face. He then went and pinned Prophet at the 16 minute and 47 second mark, securing the win.
Winner
After the match
Details: After Slither and Landon were declared the winners, Slither jumped right back at Landon, as Pegasus jumped back on Prophet. All four men were now fighting in the ring, Pegasus paired off with Prophet and Landon with Slither. And that's how the night ended, with the feed fading to black as all four fought in the ring.
