Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: The camera pans around the Pure Class Arena as "Chop Suey" by System of a Down blares through the P.A. System. As usual, we see the many fan signs sprinkled throughout the ruckus crowd. Jerry Andrews and Michael "The Man" Hunt are hyping up the show as usual until...
The Freak Speaks
Details: ...the arena house lights go down and "THE FREAK ZELLMO" is screamed through the P.A. System, taking the place of "Chop Suey" which was just playing. The scream, being recognizable as Zellmo's is echoed around the arena right before, "Don't You Wish You Were Me" by Chris Jericho begin to play. Green spotlights begin to flash around the arena, as the audience gives Zellmo a standing ovation. As the green mist fills the entrance stage, Zellmo suddenly jumps through the it with the house lights coming slightly up and the spotlight focuses on Zellmo.
Michael "The Man" Hunt: Well speak of the devil Jerry. We were just talking about him.
Zellmo taunts by raising both his arms in the air and green sparkles shoot up in front of him. Zellmo is wearing a pair of black jeans and modeling a T-shirt which is black and on the front has a picture of Zellmo with a green devil around him and green gothic print with the words, "Let Your Rage Be Set Free". On the back of the shirt, in gothic-esque print is the words, "The Freak Zellmo." He then walks down the entrance ramp, slapping the hands of the fans.
Once Zellmo reaches the ring he slides in under the bottom rope and taunts. The taunts are followed by him running up the turnbuckle and taunting some more. Mark Long walks up the steps and hands Zellmo a microphone, and then Zellmo's music cuts off. He opens his mouth, in an attempt to speak, but he begins to get a amount of cheers which it causes him to pause.
Jerry Andrews: Zellmo seemed to have become quite popular in his few weeks of being here in the PCW.
Michael Hunt: I don't see why. He hasn't done anything but lose twice and get a slapped by Chrissy.
Jerry Andrews: Doesn't mean the fans can't cheer for him. He's a stand up kind of kid who's trying to do what's right. And he's not a stranger in the wrestling ring, so, I'm sure they know enough of him outside of the PCW to cheer him.
Michael Hunt: Either way...he's not all that great, and I think they're wasting their time chanting a loser.
Inside the ring, Zellmo paces around the ring before taking the microphone to his mouth and finally speaks.
Zellmo: Tonight...The Freak is live here in Greenville, South Carolina!
The fans cheer at the cheap pop.
Zellmo: I've been sitting in the looker room these past two weeks kidding myself at a chance of victory. That's why I never beat Ace Anderson and thats why I didn't defeat Mentis. But all that is about to change. I've been doing a little soul searching after last week's insults, and if you've seen the footage from the past week then you will all have realized that THE FREAK IS BACK BABY.
More cheap pops.
Zellmo: And I start tonight as I mean to go on. I don't care who stands in my way. You're all puppets controlled by Icemann. Well my strings have been cut and the only person who controls me is ME! I will not be censored anymore, I will not be unnoticed anymore and I will do and say what I like around here, it's about time that you Superstars in the back realize who your wrestling with. Yes I may just be a 19/20 year old punk, who doesn't know when to shut his mouth, but tonight when I take two of your famous female Superstars in Angelica Night-Hunter and Whisper, you will see moves from me that you have never seen before. Tonight is the beginning of the end of PCW roster pushing me around. Tonight is the beginning of something beautiful. Tonight is the beginning of the ERA OF THE FREAK!
Zellmo pauses as the crowd applaud him.
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Zellmo: I will not be made to be looked at as a small time wrestler anymore here in PCW. Tonight you will all bare witness to The Freak's uprising. And as for you Chrissy Johnson, being my tag team partner tonight, I've got nothing against that. Just make sure that if you decide to strike me again you will be joining Angelica and Whisper in the start of The Freak's path to glory, as the time has come for me to no longer be looked down upon and start to be looked up at. So it's about time that each and every one of you in the back gets to know it and for a start and I'm going to let my actions speak louder then my words when I win the match for Chrissy and I against Angelica and Whisper.
Zellmo drops the microphone and leaves the ring and his music begins to kick in before a commercial break.
Match One: Icemann Invitational Quarter Finals Match
"Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght [w/Perfection] vs. Non Compos Mentis
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: This bracket of The Icemann Invitational would probably be the most difficult to advance from, since in the qualifying round you had to face off in a triple threat, then you'd have to face off in a quarter finals match and a semi-finals match all in the same night. But both Mr. Showtime and Non Compos Mentis were prepared for this and eager enough to go on to face the current and reigning North American Champion, LoKi, in the Semi-Finals later tonight. The first to make their way to the ring was Non Compos Mentis. He awaited his opponent "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght, who then was introduced and followed by Perfection. Once both men were in the ring, and with Perfection standing at ringside, the match began. For the first nine minutes or so, Mr. Showtime and NCM went back and forth with a flurry of offensive maneuvers, such as when Showtime hit NCM with a few shuffle back kicks, a Hangman's Neckbreaker, and two backbreakers in sessions followed by a close two count; NCM on the other hand was able to hit Showtime with a Cradle PileDriver, an Inverted Suplex, and then a frog splash, which seen him almost get the three count. The match was both entertaining and back and forth, but it was when Gaz Black and Javier Tovioli showed up on the stage, around the eleven minute mark, that set the pace for this match. At around the thirteen minute mark, Mr. Showtime had Non Compos Mentis locked in The Spotlight. NCM was trying to fight it, but it looked as if he could tap out at any moment. But that's when Showtime saw Javi and Gaz beginning to walk down the entrance ramp. Showtime tried to pay them now mind and concentrate on finishing Non Compos Mentis off, but, when Javi reached out and grabbed Perfection and started walking her up the entrance ramp, Mikey Wryght was forced to release the hold and gave chase. He slid out the ring and started attacking both Javi and Gaz. But while this was going on, Referee Roberto Garcia was forced to begin the mandatory ten-count. With NCM on the mat seemingly done for, all Mikey had to do was make the pin. Instead, he was out their battling the likes of Gaz and Javi, which ultimately cost him the match., even though he had the upperhand on both of them the entire time. Ten seconds after he rolled out the ring, and about the fourteen minute mark into the match, Mr. Showtime officially lost by count-out. Non Compos Mentis will now be squaring off against LoKi in the Semi-Finals of The Icemann Invitational later on tonight.
Winner
Mystery...Woman?
Details: As soon as the bell was sounded, Mr. Showtime took his attention off of Gaz and Javi and turned to the ring, seeing NCM being helped to his feet with his arm raised. At that moment, "Mr. Showtime" Mikey Wryght realized he just lost the match. And that realization was brightened even more so as he turned to look back at Gaz and Javi, and they were both there waiting for him. They grabbed him and started beating him down. They slammed him into the ring post and then the guard-rail, as Javi wiggled his tongue at Perfection, who was frightened and not knowing what to do. The beat-down went on for a few more seconds until, from over the security rail, a large, mannish looking woman emerged and attacked Gaz and Javi. She fought them off until they back-pedaled their way up the ramp, surprised and disgusted, as the large "woman" helped attend to Mikey.
Match Two: Triple Threat Match
Ender Slyth vs. Mark Lightning vs. Hellhound
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: A match that was suppose to be a Triple Threat turned into a rematch of last week since Hellhound never showed up during the ring introductions, nor anywhere else for the match. After The Prophet made the announcement that Hellhound was no longer in The Congregation of the Damned, Hellhound has not been seen. In the result of Hellhound's no-show, Ender and Mark had to alter their game-plan and Mark was the man to take advantage of it. The match was surprisingly shorter than alot of people would have expected, only lasting nearly eight minutes. The match went in Defman's favor until Mark Lightning surprised the former GCG Champion when he slid out of a Stalling Suplex and placed Ender into an abdonimal stretch, clasping his hands together beneath the chin, pressing against the throat. He then falls back, sweeping the leg that he wrapped his own leg around back, causing the opponent to twist 180 degrees, and Lightning drives him hard head-first into the mat- he just nailed The 5th Avenue Driver! He instantly turned Defman over like a Boston Crab, but instead of having him on his stomach and sitting on his back, Lightning adjusts the move so all the weight of his opponent is on his neck (which basically means he's on his head, which is tilted forward so his face is in the mat) and then digs his (Lightning's) knee into the back of his opponent's head, applying a lot of pressure and putting all of the weight on his knee, while making sure the opponent's head is where all of his own weight is going, and the neck is being bent, as well as giving the entire opponent's body a good stretch. Ender tried to power out of it, but his legs just didn't seem to be able to give him that boost, and he was forced to tap out.
Winner
Match Three: Non-Title Tag Team Match
Angelica Night-Hunter {International Champion} & Whisper vs. Chrissy Johnson & Zellmo
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: This fight was seen not to be much of a match, but that was not true. In the start of the match Zellmo and Whisper squared off. Zellmo tries to toss his lighter opponent, but Whisper would not be taken down so easily when she revered and applied a standing arm bar. After a bit Zellmo took advantage executing some of his move like the Freak Slam and the FreakFlip. But Whisper was there fighting back the entire time. Zellmo was the first to tag out and Chrissy Johnson enters the ring. She jumps off the second turnbuckle, and connects on Whispers should which is being held by Zellmo. Zellmo exits the ring and Chrissy whips Whisper in and leans over. Whisper Sunset Flips over Chrissy to catch a count 1..2..Kickout. After the pin Zellmo gets the attention of the Travis Wilson and Whisper gets up to tag Angelica. They make a tag but the referee?s back is turned. When Travis Wilson turns back around he orders Angelica out of the ring. While argue the point Chrissy Johnson get over to Zellmo again. While the one corner was arguing Zellmo took the shot to take the advantage. He snuck up behind Whisper and executes a big German suplex and bridges for the pin. 1..2..Kickout. This is at the fifteen minute mark and Whisper is slow getting to her feet. Zellmo grabs her by her head and while he?s leaning over to set her up for something Whisper surprises him with her version of the Mandible Claw. She walks forward with Zellmo stumbling backwards and tags out to Angelica Night. And the fresh Angelica comes in with a fury. Chrissy Johnson also enters but Angelica just runs her over. Whisper rolls outside the ropes but still on the apron. After Chrissy powders out Zellmo comes stumbling over still in a daze from Whispers move. Angelica catches the stunned man with her move "The Nightfall" and Zellmo crashes hard. Angelica covers 1..2..3. Angelica and Whisper get a impressive victory.
Winner
Disgusted?
Details: Following the match, Chrissy walks over to Zellmo, who is just getting up to his knees. She calls out to him, and when he looks up, she slaps the taste out of his mouth- purely disgusted in the way the match went down. Just then, Zellmo sprung to his feet and grabbed Chrissy by her hair and brought her close to him. He then planted one of the biggest kisses on Chrissy, before pushing her away.
Living a Legacy Announcements
Details: Just then, with Chrissy and Zellmo still in the ring, the PCW-Tron clicked on and showcased was "The Captain" Alejandro Walker, who was sitting in his office. He had some papers in his hand, and then looked up to the camera. He first started off by saying he had a few things he had to say, all related with Living a Legacy. He stated that he seen what Gaz and Javi did earlier in the evening and stated that at Living a Legacy, the two of them will square off against Mr. Showtime and a partner of his choosing. And he Javi and Gaz were to win the Tag Titles here tonight, then that match would be for those belts. "The Captain" then focused his attention to Zellmo and Chrissy, and announced that the two would have a match next week on Trauma. He also made the announcement that, with the approval of "The Icemann", Hellhound's contract was void since he no-showed, and Mr. Walker had the authority to fire him, which he did. No-shows are not tolerable. But since there would be a void at the Pay-Per-View, where Zellmo was suppose to go up against LoKi with the winner receiving a shot at the North American Championship, that he was going to do the next best thing. At Living a Legacy, Zellmo would square off against Chrissy Johnson, Ender Slyth, and Mark Lightning in a four-way match to decide the North American Championship number one contender. And with that, the feed clicked off.
Match Four: Icemann Invitational Semi-Finals Match
Ace Anderson vs. "The Truth" Jorge Garcia
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: These two men would push each other to the limit to say in this Tournament. As the match started off the two men start off with some impressive chain wrestling and Jorge gets the early upper hand. While Jorge was working an arm bar Ace reverses it, but only for Jorge to reverse it back into a side headlock. Anderson pushes The Truth off to the ropes and they dodge each other with a few leap frogs and drop downs until Jorge connects with a big shoulder tackle. As Ace is trying to pull himself off the ground he is using The Truth to pull himself up. Once on one knee he throws a vicious uppercut to the groin area of Mr. Garcia. Jorge goes down hard and the referee didn?t seem to see it. From this point further Anderson dominated the match. Jorge had a few flurries of retaliation but the were mostly cut off by Anderson. But for the most part Anderson was winning with a few near falls. Towards the 14 minute mark off of a reversal of a botched suplex, Garcia tries to come back. While firing back he whips Anderson into the corner and chases after him and connects with a big splash. Jorge runs up to the top of the rope and connects with a cross body block on the stunned Anderson. But with a bit too much momentum Ace is able to keep rolling and catches Jorge in a pin and Anderson has a handful of tights so all the kicking in the world wasn't going to stop the referee Roberto Garcia from count to three.
Winner
Match Five: Tag Team Championship Match
Pegasus {Co-World/Tag Team Champion} & The Prophet {Tag Team Champion} vs. Javier Tovioli & Gaz Black
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: Alot is riding on this match, as Pegasus and The Prophet try to retain their Tag Team Championships against the new duo of Javi and Gaz. We seen earlier in the evening Javi and Gaz interfere in the Non Compos Mentis-Mikey Wryght match, which in end cost Mr. Showtime his chance to advance to the Semi-Finals of The Icemann Invitational Tournament. And if that wasn't bad enough, "The Captain" Alejandro Walker decided to book Gaz and Javi at Living a Legacy against Mr. Showtime and a partner of his choosing. And if Javi and Gaz were to be able to walk out Tag Team Champions here tonight, then their match would be for the PCW Tag Team Championships. But, concerning this match the current Tag Team Champions where the first team to be introduced as is befitting when one of the members is currently Co-World Champion. But the match wasn?t even under way before the trouble began, in fact it started before The Prophet and Pegasus even got into the ring. When they were about half way down the ramp they were blindsided by their opponents, Gaz Black and Javi Tovioli, who seemed to come out of nowhere. The referee did his best to restore order but because the match had not officially started there was not much he could do.When the match finally spilled into the ring, the ref called for the bell and forced two men to the aprons, leaving Javi and Pegasus to square off against each other. The match looked to be a short one, with both members of the Congregation of the Damned already winded and a dribble of blood already escaping the head of Pegasus. Javi rushed Pegasus, sliding between his legs and delivering a low blow as he did. Seeing this, The Prophet tried to get into the ring. The ref turned away from the devastated Pegasus to try to restrain the infuriated Prophet.Gaz took this opportunity to assist his partner with the double team as they went to work on the head and chest of Peggy in an attempt to widen the already bleeding wound on his forehead. With The Prophet finally restrained, the ref turned around to find Javi on the apron and Gaz waiting for Peggy to get up in an attempt to set him up for the Reality Check. Pegasus finally stumbled up to his feet and it looked like the match was just about over. But as Gas tried to lock in the move, he suddenly let go, holding his eyes. Peggy took advantage of the brief respite and dove to his corner to tag in the Prophet.Able to come in legally now, Prophet wasted no time in mounting a technical offense against the partially blinded Gaz Black. After several stiff chops the chest, Prophet took the reeling Gaz down with an evenflow DDT. Seeing his partner in trouble, this time it was Javi who had to be restrained by the referee. In a mirror parody of earlier, Pegasus launched himself from the top rope and nailed a guillotine leg drop across the throat of Gaz. Turning back to the action to find Pegasus once again in the ring, the referee asked if the tag had been made, and was assured by both Proph and Peggy that of course it had.Pegasus took advantage of Gaz?s prone position, locking in a half boston crab. The pain in his lower back excruciating, Gaz tries to drag himself to the ropes only to be pulled back towards the middle. Javi stole away from the corner and chose that moment to dig under the ring for something. Prophet, seeing what Javi was trying to do, attempted to alert the referee, only to be mistaken for trying to interfere and was forcibly restrained. With the referee and looking away, Javi jumped up to the side of the ring and swung a pipe he had found under the ring with all his might, the pipe connecting solidly with the side of Pegasus?s head. Pegasus fell over with a dull thud and would remain a non factor for the most of the match. The ref, hearing the sound of Pegasus limply thudding to the mat released the prophet and went to check on a near unconscious Peggy. Gaz gingerly mad it to his feet and limped over to his corner where Javi had just returned to and made the first legal tag of the match. With one member of the Congregation being knocked out, the referee began his ten count, but was interrupted at six when Javi pick up the limp for of Pegasus and drug him back to his own corner, throwing him on the mat in front of Prophet, daring him to make the tag. What Javi didn?t see was The Prophet preparing his cleansing fire, but Gaz did. Shouting a warning to his partner as Prophet entered the ring, Javi ducked just in time to avoid being blinded by Prophs flame. Not so lucky was the referee who was standing behind Javi, and without warning had a fireball wash over is face. Eddie Lane clutched his face and shrieked in pain as he collapsed onto the mat before rolling onto the outside. With the referee gone, all hell broke loose. With no ref to hold him back, Javi stepped into the ring and proceeded to double team the Prophet with his partner. The two deviants proceeded to lay into Prophet, even delivering a devastating double powerbomb. The Prophet was now in the same proverbial boat as Pegasus, unable to defend himself, let alone able to mount a defense as he was drug to his feet by Javi Tovioli, only to be planted right back into the ground as Javi nailed his trademark finisher, ?It?s Over? The Prophet was no longer in the match, as he was rolled under the bottom rope and let fall to the cold floor below. Pegasus was just now beginning to stir after the pipe to the side of the head. Seeing their downed opponent begin to stir, Gaz drug him to the middle of the ring as Javi slid under the ropes. He went to the time keepers table where all three belts where being held and forced the World Title Belt away. Sliding back into the ring he handed the belt to Gaz who was now perched on the top turnbuckle, ready to fly. Pegasus had to be in another world after that pipe shot, yet he was managing to climb to his feet. Finally reaching his vertical base, he turned around looking for his opponent, despite the urgings of Mike Hunt, ?not to turn around.? With his prey facing him, Gaz leapt from the turnbuckle, setting up a missile dropkick with one little twist, the world title was held firmly at his feet. The belt, driven by the force of Gaz?s kick, connected solidly with Pegasus face, causing him to drop like a ton of bricks. Javi had spent this time trying to revive the referee on the outside of the mat. Eddie Lane may have been nearly blind from the Prophets fireball, but he could still see the fuzzy outline of Gaz Black covering Pegasus. The referee lifted his hand slowly for 1?2?3?And we have new Tag Team Champions, Gaz Black and Javi Tovioli.
