Tuesday Night Trauma
Tuesday 20th June
Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greensville, South Carolina.
In the beginning:
Jerry Andrews: Hello everyone and welcome to a quite unique night in PCW history. Tonight is all about Tag team action. More specifically – Tag Team Turmoil. I say specifically, but not a lot is known about what is going to happen tonight. Sixteen members of the PCW roster have been selected to tag part in this tag team tournament. They will all be put into randomly selected teams and will have to work together in order to win the Tag Team gold. It’s going to be one chaotic night.
Match One:
The match commences as all of the competitors make their way to the ring. First out to the ring is ‘The Jersey Devil’ Mark Brown. As he stands in the ring and waits a new theme hits and out walks Justin Adams to the shock of Brown. Adams makes his way to ring and proceeds to negotiate some co-operation with Brown. Meanwhile, yet another entrance theme plays and ‘Dynamite’ Dan Ellis walks out onto the ramp and then down to the ring to wait for his partner. Ellis is waiting in the ring looking towards the stage when his opposing team rushes at him and land a double clothesline to his back. Ellis fall to the mat as They pick him up again just to throw him across the ring and double back drop him. Suddenly, the music of James Keenen hits and the PCW superstar sprints out to the ring and slides in. The two opponents turn to face him and are met with a double clothesline of Keenen’s own, knocking down both opponents. Brown springs to his feet and runs at Keenen but is met with an open handed punch to the face, then another and another before trying a kick but it is caught and Adams gets up and runs at him, hitting a clothesline on the defenceless Keenen. Ellis gets to his feet and walks over to the opponents, spins around Adams and nails him with a knife edge chop and one to Brown as he turns around and again to Adams but is cut off on the second attempt to chop Brown by a shot to the head and, finally, Adams gets out of the ring and onto the apron, as does Keenen. Brown continues to hit Ellis in the head then whips him across the ring before nailing a spinebuster in the middle of the ring. Brown covers, 1….2…..kick out. Brown picks up Ellis but is met by an elbow to the ribs, then another then a whip into the ropes and a quick fire belly-to-belly. Ellis struggles to the corner and tags in Keenen who climbs into the ring and get caught by a right hand from Adams who had been tagged in moments earlier. He pulls Keenen into the middle of the ring and goes for a vertical suplex but is reversed when Keenen slides out of the back door and waits as Adams turns around and gets nailed with the Closing Song. Keenen covers as Ellis rushes into the ring and knocks Brown off the apron. 1….2…..3
Winners: James Keenen and Dan Ellis via pin fall.
Match Two:
The music of Seth Sinn hits and out comes one of the three challengers to the International Championship at Return to Glory. He waits in the ring for his tag team partner, who happens to be one of his opponents, the cocky Mikey Wryght. Mikey heads to the ring, not phased by the situation. However, when they are both in the ring with each other they begin talking. It could be about tactics and strategies or just trash talking. But who will their opponents be? The first man makes his arrival, being none other than the North American Champion…Non Compos Mentis. NCM comes to the bottom of the ramp where he awaits the arrival of his random tag team partner.
Jerry Andrews: Who will it be?
Mike Hunt: Wouldn’t it be great if it were Al Liaman!
The music hits and out walks an enemy of NCM, being Ace Anderson. NCM looks away in disgust as Ace makes his way to the ring, not looking ecstatic himself. They two share a few words at ringside before coming to the conclusion that they need to work together, if grudgingly.
Jerry Andrews: This should be a great match. I’m going to love seeing how these teams work together.
After lengthy discussions with their partners, it is decided that Non Compos Mentis and Mikey Wryght will begin the match. Mikey comes to the centre of the ring and holds his hands up for a test of strength. Fancying himself in the contest, NCM accepts, only to receive a thumb to the eye as he loses his guard. Mikey takes NCM down and immediately locks a sleeper hold on him. NCM fights to one knee, still holding his blinded eye. Mikey stands on his trailing leg, across the back of the knee, preventing NCM from getting to his feet. He then lets go of the sleeper and clobbers NCM with a forearm across the face. Mikey drags NCM across the ring and tags in Seth Sinn. Sinn, a former tag champ with Lantlas comes in to face the man he tagged with last week in a handicap match. Sinn, wanting revenge for NCM turning on him pounds away at the grounded NCM. The two men then begin working together efficiently in the corner, quick tagging and hard pounding. Mentis is a long way from his partner as Mikey gets NCM to his feet. Mikey scraps NCM’s head across the top rope, taking him to the centre of the ring. NCM is then whipped across the ring. He returns to be hit with a drop toehold before a dropkick to the ribs. Mikey makes a cover but only receives a two count. He lifts NCM to his feet and looks for a DDT but NCM sees a chance. He drives Mr Showtime backwards into the corner where Ace waits. Ace quickly tags NCM on the back before hitting Mikey with a forearm shot. With NCM still holding a waist lock around Wryght, the usher of destruction lifts Mikey up and drops him in a high back body drop. Ace enters as NCM exits. Ace covers. Only a two count as Seth Sinn breaks it up. Sinn gets Ace to his feet and whips him into the ropes, but Ace comes back with a clothesline. Sinn gets back to his feet only to walk straight into a belly-to-back suplex, sending Sinn out the ring. Ace turns only to be hit with a right hand from Mikey. Wryght then whips Ace into the rope where NCM holds out his hand, getting a blind tag. The referee sees it as Ace ducks under a clothesline attempt. Ace hits a kick to the mid-section as Mikey turns before lifting him high into the air. Ace drives him down in a huge power bomb and NCM dives on Wryght to pick up the crumbs. Ace looks down in disbelief as NCM picks up the win.
Winners: Ace Anderson and Non Compos Mentis via pin fall.
Match Three:
The match begins with Jackal walking out to the ring to the 2Guys theme and taking up his place in the ring. The music cuts out and Jackal watches on silently as his partner waits backstage. Suddenly, 2Guys music starts up again and out walks Menace to the surprise of his usual partner. He makes his way to the and exchanges happy smiles with Jackal as they will have a natural advantage in the match. Next, Justin Michaels walks to the ring and waits. Then, Anthony Douglas’ music hits and out walks the number 1 contender to the North American Title. He gets to the ring and selects himself to take the first stint in the ring against Menace. Both men lock up as their partners exit the ring. Douglas overpowers Menace and pushes him back into the corner before hitting a series of chops and then pulling him into the ring and running at the ropes and nailing a vicious clothesline. He pins, 1…..2….kick out. Both men tag out and Jackal runs across the ring to tackle his opponent but is caught by a drop toe hold and dropped into the turnbuckle. Stormm pulls Jackal up and lands a gutwrench suplex into the middle of the ring before dropping a knee across his chest. He pins, 1….kick out quickly. Stormm pulls him up and lands a vertical suplex in the middle of the ring. He hold on to the hold and lifts him back to his feet before setting Jackal up in a suplex manoeuvre before turning him in midair so that he is facing adjacently to him and then drops him over his knee in a gutbuster. Stormm suddenly sets up for the Force Of Nature and Douglas runs into the ring and prepares to fend off Menace. 1… Menace tries to get in the ring but is kicked in the head by ‘Wolverine’, 2….3.
Winners: ‘Wolverine’ Anthony Douglas and Justin ‘Stormm’ Michaels via pin fall.
Match Four:
Jerry Andrews: By my reckoning, we have four competitors left.
Mike Hunt: That would make sense with only two tag teams left to compete in the first round.
Jerry Andrews: They are Lantlas, Grimm, Rodney Phoenix and Al Liaman. Could the two friends, Lantas and Liaman be on separate teams?
The first man to make his appearance is the number one contender to the PCW Genesis Championship, Rodney Phoenix. He makes his way to the ring with the crowd wondering where Lantlas and Liaman will be placed. The music is then replaced with another, receiving a huge cry of cheers from the crowd. Out comes Grimm. He makes his way to the ring, not knowing that the cheers aren’t necessarily for him.
Jerry Andrews: You know what this means don’t you.
Mike Hunt: Oh yes.
Grimm and Phoenix begin talking in the ring as the theme of Al Liaman hits. He makes his way out onto the stage where he wears a smile as big as his face. He nods in approval as his music fades, only to be replaced by that of the PCW World Champion, Lantlas.
Jerry Andrews: Lantlas and Al Liaman are together. What a draw for them.
The two men make their way to the ring, happy with the draw and enter the ring. Grimm and Phoenix continue to discuss the upcoming match, as Liaman and Lantlas look comfortable with each other.
Lantlas and Phoenix begin with Rodney putting a headlock on the world champion. Lantlas pushes him into the ropes but Phoenix hits a shoulder block on return. Phoenix hits the ropes and Lantlas rolls under. Phoenix halts and turns as Lantlas gets to his feet. Phoenix swings a clothesline but Lantlas ducks and hits a neck breaker. Lantlas gets to his feet and tags in Liaman. Liaman comes in and lifts Rodney to his feet. He whips Phoenix across the ring and hits him with a back body drop on return. Phoenix gets to his feet and walks into a scoop slam before Liaman drops an elbow. Liaman covers for a two count. Liaman tags the World Champion back in who then takes over. Lantlas sets Phoenix up for a suplex and hits it. Lantlas rolls through to the make the cover. Another two count. Phoenix is hauled back to his feet and set up for another suplex. However, Rodney hits numerous knees to the stomach before hitting northern lights on the current PCW World Champion. Seeing his chance, Phoenix makes the tag to Grimm as Lantlas gets back to his feet. Lantlas turns and gets levelled with a clothesline. Grimm waits for Lantlas to get back to his feet before hitting a dropkick flush on the jaw of Lantlas. With Lantlas grounded, Grimm locks in a front face lock. After a few moments, Lantlas fights his way to his feet, still with Grimm clutching onto him. Lantlas hits elbows to the stomach making Grimm release him. Grimm then gets hit with a kick to the stomach before a double arm DDT. Lantlas makes the cover but Grimm kicks out. Lantlas gets the International Champion to his feet and throws him into the corner before tagging in Liaman. Liaman goes to work in the corner with shoulder blocks before lifting Grimm onto the top turnbuckle. Lantlas tags himself in and both men go to the second rope and set Grimm up for a double superplex. Phoenix sees Grimm is in trouble and dives into the ring. He comes over and goes below both opponents, capturing them in a powerbomb position. Rodney then drives Lantlas and Liaman into the mat, causing Grimm to be hit with twice as much force. Grimm bounces over his own corner and Phoenix quickly goes back over. He exits the ring and tags himself in. Phoenix comes in and stalks Liaman. Liaman gets to his feet and turns to receive a kick to the stomach. Liaman crouches down holding his midsection allowing Lantlas to jump over the top of him and hit a clothesline on the unsuspecting Phoenix. Lantlas gets Phoenix back up and kicks him in the gut before lifting him in the air. Liaman joins in to slam Phoenix hard into the canvas in a double powerbomb. The legal man, Liaman, drops down and makes the cover as Lantlas guards, even though Grimm is on the outside, hurt. Liaman collects the three count.
Winners: Al Liaman and Lantlas via pin fall.
Semi Finals:
Lantlas and Liaman enter PCW President, Alejandro Walkers office to see the other three winning tag teams stood around.

Match Five:
Dan Ellis and James Keenan both make their way out as a collective unit before Ace Anderson and Non Compos Mentis make separate arrivals. Both teams are in the ring for this semi final contest, with Keenan deciding to begin with Non Compos Mentis. NCM and Keenan go to lock up. They lock fingers before NCM hits a knee to the gut. He then swivels Keenan around, crossing his arms and driving him down in a straightjacket drop. He makes a quick cover and Dan enters the ring, unsure. Keenan kicks out and NCM looks up to tell Ellis to get out of the ring. Mentis gets Keenan to his feet and throws him into a neutral corner. He charges and hits a clothesline. Keenan is sent clear of the corner and NCM attacks from behind. He captures Keenan by the head and drives him down in a reverse DDT. NCM again covers but only gets a two count. NCM lifts Keenan to his feet and takes him to his corner, where he gives Ace Anderson a rather hard tag. Ace gives him a cold look before entering. Keenan enters and charges at NCM, hitting him with a spear to the mat. Keenan hits numerous right hands whilst mounting NCM. Keenan relents and gets to his feet, only for Ace to lock a full nelson on him from behind. NCM gets to his feet as Ace looks for the full nelson slam. He lifts Keenan up but it is reversed into an arm drag. Ace is sent clattering into his tag team partner, who is sent clear of the ring. Ace gets up, knowing he has just taken NCM out of the game. He turns and gets hit with a kick to the stomach. Keenan looks for an implant DDT but Ace blocks it and drives Keenan into the turnbuckle. Dan Ellis tags himself in off Keenan’s back and enters. Ace takes a backwards step into a forearm shot to the back of the head. Dan fires Ace into the ropes who then clatters to the mat by himself. However, NCM is on the outside and clobbered his own tag team partner as he hit the ropes. Dan takes advantage and goes for a suplex. He hits it and rolls through as NCM walks around the ring. Dan rolls over the top of Ace and then gets to his feet again, still holding Anderson. He goes for a second suplex but Ace blocks and hits one of his own. Keenan enters the ring and charges only for Ace to throw him over the top rope. Dan charges and Ace sees him. Ace captures him and hits trapping head butts before throwing Dan into the corner. He follows up with a stinger splash, then another in the other corner. He then follows up with a bear hug power slam in the centre of the ring, completing the Blitzkrieg. Ace covers. 1…2…3!
