Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
In the Beginning
Details: Trauma opens up with the usual pyrotechnics and the playing of System of a Down's, "Chop Suey." The cameras pan around the arena, highlighting numerous fans and their signs. As “Chop Suey” fades, the arena goes dark. ”To Awake and Avenge the Dead” begins to play...
Match One: Singles Match
Jade vs. Bob Diehard
Referee: Steve Shaw
Match Details: After Jade makes her way to the ring, Bob Diehard walks out onto the stage looking decidedly nervous after his encounter last week and a faked drugs test. He climbs into the ring and the referee starts the match by calling for the bell. Both competitors circle the ring until they embrace in a collar and elbow tie up in the middle.
Diehard’s size and strength advantage plays to his advantage as he forces Jade back into the corner and holds on until the referee reaches a 4 in his count. He releases Jades arms and backs off a few steps before lurching forward with an attempted clothesline but Jade ducks and rolls to avoid it. Diehard hits the turnbuckle and staggers backwards, clearly stunned by the impact.
Jade quickly hits the ropes and goes for her own clothesline that rocks Diehard who still manages to keep his feet. Jade then hits another clothesline that sends Diehard to the mat with a thud. Jade capitalizes quickly and hits three snap legdrops before covering. 1…..2…..Powerful kick out. Jade springs back to her feet and, as Diehard gets to a knee, fires off a series of punches and chops but Diehard manages to fight back onto his feet and retaliates with a hard knee to the mid-section.
Rob then grabs Jades head and places it under his arm and goes for a suplex but is shocked when she manages to slip out behind him and lands a dropkick to the back that sends him onto the middle rope. Jade then runs at his and his him with a double leg lariat to the back. Jade pulls Diehard un to a knee as he groggily looks around and then hits him with a straight kick to the chest followed by two more that floor him again.
Jade yanks him up again, this time all the way to his feet and runs at the ropes before trying a high cross body but gets caught by Diehard who then lifts her up onto his shoulders, as if going for an F5 type move. However, once again Jade escapes behind Diehard and briefly stalks her opponent as he turns around furiously then leaps into the air, landing a Spinning Heel Kick straight on the cranium of Diehard who hits the mat hard. Jade covers. 1……2……3…..Jade wins.
Winner
Match Two: Tag Team Match
Kaden Keen & Non Compos Mentis vs. 2Guys
Referee: Eddie Lane
Match Details: Not thrilled to be tagging together, but seeing the opportunity, which for Non Compos Mentis would be to inflict as much pain on 2Guys as possible, and the same would go for Kaden as he has to face them in two weeks at Deadly Intentions, the forced partners decide to make the best of it. Jackle and Menace are arguing over who is going to start the match, until they finally decide on Menace. After a quick debate, Kaden Keene stays in the ring and Non Compos Mentis exits the ring, onto the apron.
Kaden and Menace start off in a tie-up, with Kaden managing to irish whip Menace across the ring. As Menace comes back, Kaden hits him with a big arm drag, which he follows up with an arm bar. He wrenches the arm bar for a few seconds, while menacingly (no pun intended) staring right at Jackle. Jackle puts his hands together as though he is praying, and Kaden picks up the one of 2Guys not praying...at least, visibly.
Kaden once again irish whips Menace, delivering another arm drag, this time however, he doesn’t follow with an arm bar. He waits for Menace to get up, and he delivers a running dropkick. Non Compos Mentis is in the corner, yelling for the tag, and Kaden obliges. He gets out of the ring, slightly shrugging his shoulders.
As Non Compos Mentis gets in, the first thing he does is connect with a huge running knee to the head on Menace. Obviously frustrated, he picks his opponent up right away, and hits him with an Evenflow DDT. He plays to the crowd, for a mixture of cheers and boos. He goes back to work on Menace, stomping down on his legs, chest, and arms. Menace tries to roll away and escape, but Non Compos Mentis won’t let him.
After Non Compos Mentis backs off of Menace, the beaten 2Guys member tries to return to his feet. Non Compos Mentis quickly delivers an STO, and then makes the cover. One...two...and Jackle breaks up the count. Non Compos Mentis chases Jackle out of the ring. While he is saying something to Jackle, he doesn’t notice the supposed-to-be-injured Seth Sinn jumping the barricade, clad in his street clothes. Seth doesn’t get in the ring, but as Non Compos Mentis turns around, he sees him. He makes a beeline for Seth and the ropes, but Eddie Lane gets in the way. As Eddie Lane has his back turned, Jackle gets in the ring and drags Menace over to the corner.
He claps his hands together very loud in arguably the smartest move he’s ever done, and Eddie Lane and Non Compos Mentis turn around, thinking the tag was made. Jackle charges across the ring, and lays out Non Compos Mentis with a clothesline. Mentis gets up, ducks a second clothesline from Jackle, and hits him with a Yakuza kick.
Making the pin isn’t even close to his first thought, no, instead he tags Kaden. Kaden climbs in, and Non Compos Mentis jumps out of the ring, to fight with Seth Sinn, who leads his rival up the ramp. Kaden jumps into the ring, sees Menace up and trying to make his way to save his partner, so Kaden hits him with a HUGE shining wizard. He then sets his target on Jackle.
Non Compos Mentis and Seth are locked in a huge staredown at the top of the ramp. Back in the ring, Kaden has picked up Jackle. He puts him into the suplex position, and then spikes his head down into a DDT for a big ‘Limelight’ finisher. Seth and Non Compos Mentis are still slugging it out. Kaden makes the pin...one...two...three.
Winner
Plans from the Boss-man.
Details: (Kaden Keene slides out of the ring before the referee can raise his hand, grabs his Tag Team Championship, and raises it high above his head. He stops at the bottom of the ramp though, as Non Compos Mentis and Seth Sinn are STILL burning holes in each other with their eyes...
...when ‘The Way I Am’ by Eminem begins to play! This causes both men to break their stare, and look to the curtain, where within seconds, Skylar Marshall appears with a microphone. He raises it to his lips.)
Skylar Marshall: Cut my music...come on now! Alright, this has gone on long enough. I don’t think I wanna wait until Deadly Intentions to see you two beat the snot out of each other. I...have a plan. A plan that will make TV ratings for Trauma go through the roof. I’m bumping the ladder match from Deadly Intentions, to next week. You hear that? Next week, it will be Non Compos Mentis vs Seth Sinn in a ladder match for the North American Championship AND the HHW World Championship.
(The fans give a huge pop for this announcement, and Skylar Marshall waits for it to become quiet. Non Compos Mentis and Seth Sinn are grinning.)
Skylar Marshall: You’re probably wondering, what’s to happen of you both come Deadly Intentions? Well...Non Compos Mentis, you’re getting put in the Special Attractions match against Jade, and you Seth...I’m not so sure about you. If you beat Non Compos Mentis next week, we’ll see what happens. You’re going to have to take it one step at a time, with your injury and all. Now how’s that for business?
(The crowd responds once again with a big pop, still pumped up that they get to see Non Compos Mentis versus Seth Sinn on cable TV. However, it appears as though Skylar wasn’t finished.)
Skylar Marshall: In case you two are contemplating beating each other up, don’t. If either of you touch each other before your match next week, you’re both suspended indefinitely. I want to protect the match for Trauma, and you two fighting now might endanger that. Try your best not to jump on each other, or you’ll regret it.
(Skylar drops the mic, ‘The Way I Am’ comes back on, and he disappears behind the curtain as the feed cuts to commercial.)
Strict Orders.
Details: (As the camera fades in from the commercial break, it is panning around the locker room that has become familiar of Silence and The Voice. Silence is sitting on a bench, rocking back and forth, his dreadlocks swaying with the motion of his head.)
The Voice: Silence...tonight, I want you to, if at all possible, eliminate Gravedigger. However, don’t let it interfere with your team getting the win. Winning is the most important thing now, for Gravedigger can be taken care of any day. It’s just, the sooner the better. You know what I mean?
(No response comes from Silence, he just continues to rock back and forth as the camera switches to ringside for the next match...)
Match Three: Singles Match
Grimm vs. Sean Hunter
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: These two have met eachother in the past, with Grimm coming out on top in their earlier battles. But this time, they're fighting for so much more; they're fighting for leverage, as the two prepare to face-off against The Prophet and Lantlas for the PCW World Championship in the first ever Deadly Lockdown Match. Knowing that Murdoc and Lantlas will be competing later in the night, this match just might add an extra desire to standout from the crowd.
Grimm was the first to be introduced, gaining a thunderous applause upon his entrance. It really is shocking how loved this man is, because he really doesn't try and go out there to be loved. Or to be hated for on that matter. He goes in to kick ass, and even though he's had some trouble winning the "big ones," the fans seem to appreciate and respect his no-nonsense, never-back-down attitude.
Second to be introduced was Sean Hunter. He got a large number of cheers aswell, but if introductions were any indication as to who the fans would be cheering for throughout the match, or atleast cheering throughout the majority of the match, Grimm was obviously their choice.
Once both men were introduced and had entered the ring, Referee Travis Wilson, or as he is more commonly known as- "T-Dub", signaled for the bell. The pacing of the match was slow from the beginning, with each man taking their time before they locked-up. And once they did lock-up, it was usually one or the other putting their opponent in a front facelock, or countering a hold with another hold; very mat oriented for this one, which surprised many, because they were looking for smashmouth wrestling.
Throughout the duration of the match, as hinted upon already, the two were close, with neither one of them seemingly getting the advantage over the other. But it was at the 11 minute and 14 second mark that changed the entire course and pace of this match. Sean Hunter had whipped Grimm into the far-side ropes. Grimm bounced back with such a shoulder tackle, it completely knocked Hunter outside of the ring. As Sean was getting to his feet, Grimm ran and dived through the top and middle ropes, flying through the air, and putting his body on the line to take out Sean.
For the next few moments, they fought on the outside of the ring, with the highlight of that outside brawl being when Grimm rammed Sean Hunter's arm into the steel ring post. Grimm rolled Hunter back into the ring and then controlled the rest of the match, going back to his usual smashmouth ways, and finishing the match off at the 16 minute and 43 second mark, after nailing The Harvest and then the three-count.
Winner
Match Four: Match Four of a Best of Five Series
"The Gambit" Andreas Lasiewicz vs. Justin "Stormm" Michaels
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: You could tell the two of these men were really starting to get on each other’s nerves as this match started, as they both charge their opponent with no regard right from the get go. Right hand from Justin. Right hand from Lassie. Kick to the gut from Justin, and then, the table-turner, a surprise Polish Hammer from Lassie! He immediately drops down on top of Justin to make the cover. Tyrone Little hits the mat, and one...two...thre..and Justin kicks out at two and a half. The Polish Hammer may have caught him off guard, but he was determined to finish Lassie off right here, and not need the fifth and deciding match.
Lassie keeps it going however, not letting Justin’s kick out offset his offense. Lassie quickly moves atop Justin, locking him in a dragon clutch. Justin stays in the dragon clutch for about fifteen seconds, and when he looks like he is about to give up, he somehow manages to break out of it! This brings Lassie’s fury over the edge, and he starts to stomp down on Justin. Justin wisely bails out, managing to roll under the bottom rope. Lassie shifts into hot pursuit mode, and follows Justin like a hungry shark a hundred feet shy of a beach.
After hitting the floor, Lassie follows Justin around the ring, as Tyrone Little begins the mandatory ten count. As Lassie approaches Justin, he gets nailed with a turnaround European Uppercut that sends him backwards. Justin tackles Lassie to the floor, and begins to punch away at his head. It is then that he notices Tyrone Little counting, and decides to return to the ring. He breaks the count, and then slides back out.
He begins to mimic Lassie with the boot beatdown. He then rolls his opponent into the ring, and mounts an offensive of his own. A cross armbreaker follows a DDT, and it appears as though Justin has Lassie on the verge of tapping out now. In an amazing feat of strength, Lassie manages to pull his arm away from Justin. Justin rolls away, and Lassie gets up, the adrenaline pumping, screaming like only a man full of Polish Spirit can.
They lock eyes, and it sets off another fire that twelve firetrucks would have a hard time putting out. They bumrush each other once more, fists flying. Lassie manages to take Justin down, and they begin to jostle for position while on the ground. Right out of the ring they roll, and they both hit the floor. They get to their feet, and begin to battle up the ramp. Lassie is hitting Justin with consecutive right hands, but Justin manages to reverse it and toss Lassie into the barricade. 1...2...3... the mandatory ten count begins once again...
...yet it seems like they’re not hearing it. 4...5...6... Justin throws Lassie over the barricade and into the crowd. The two begin to battle amongst the masses, fans cheering for either man wildly. 7..8...9... and they both stop as they hear the bell. 10...DING DING DING! Tyrone Little called for the bell, which left both of them standing outside of the ring, thinking over what just happened. They both shrug and continue to duke it out, the fans going wild the whole time.
Winner
Second Time’s a Charm?
Details: (Both Justin and Lassie stop once more as ‘The Way I Am’ plays for the second time tonight, signifying the arrival of one Skylar Marshall, a man who loves his screen time. He comes out to the top of the ramp, and this time he doesn’t even have to tell them as they cut his music almost as soon as he gets out onto the stage.)
Skylar Marshall: Alright, this is the second time I’ve had to come out here. It seems like you people don’t know how to solve your differences in the squared circle, where it matters. So this is what I’m going to do. Next week, match four is going to be replayed, so to speak. Then, if needed, match five will happen at Deadly Intentions. It’s going to happen my way, my rules...got it?
(As Skylar is speaking, security runs in to get between the two adversaries. They begin to cuss at each other, as Skylar Marshall grins and exits through the curtain. The scene fades to commercial, only to return for the Main Event of the evening.)
Match Five: Tag Team Match
Silence [w/The Voice] & Lantlas vs. Gravedigger & "The Prophet" Marcus Murdoc
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: It was almost certain that, just like the previous week, Silence and Gravedigger would beg to face each other, yet as the scene returned from commercial, the entrances were made, and all four men stood in the ring, Silence and Gravedigger both bowed out to let Lantlas and Marcus Murdoc go toe to toe.
As Lantlas and Murdoc circled each other before tying up, Gravedigger and Silence peered across the ring, not taking their eyes off of each other. Their staredown was soon interrupted by a clash of grunt and flying flowing hair, Lantlas and Murdoc colliding in a collar-elbow tie-up in the middle of the ring. A struggle for footing, and a result of Lantlas pushing his Deadly Intentions challenger back into a vacant corner. Silence and Gravedigger return their stares to each other, as Lantlas begins to lay into Murdoc with chops in the corner.
After a few chops, Lantlas pulls out a throat thrust, causing Murdoc to stumble out of the corner, grabbing at his throat. He makes the wise move and tags in Gravedigger, so he can catch his wind and come back at Lantlas strong.
As Gravedigger climbs in the ring, The Voice yells to Lantlas to tag in Silence, and after a second or two of thought, Lantlas obliges. He isn’t quite as interested in Gravedigger as he is in Murdoc, and he figures Silence wants to get at his recently established rival. Silence climbs into the ring, also over the top rope, and Marcus Murdoc and Lantlas look on. The Voice yells a direction to Silence, and as the two giants meet in the middle of the ring, Silence raises one hand in a gesture of a test of strength.
Gravedigger replies by raising his hand up to Silence’s, and as their fingers intertwine, each man brings their other hand up to meet. A quick thrust forward from both, and they are chest to chest, arms outstretched. Gravedigger’s height advantage on Silence seems to play a part, but Silence quickly abolishes that with a quick kick to the gut. This causes the grip of both men to break, but Gravedigger quickly knocks Silence down with a clothesline.
The Voice yells at Silence, and he is up right away. Another clothesline from the giant Gravedigger knocks down the Reticent Raider, yet he gets up once more. Gravedigger picks Silence up this time, is a great display of power, and drops him down in a powerslam. Gravedigger makes the cover, 1..2..and Lantlas dives in to break it up, just in case. He doesn’t want Silence costing him any victories, especially when he wants Murdoc once more before Deadly Intentions. Gravedigger gets up, and follows Lantlas to his corner. Another bark from The Voice, and Silence is up, although slower this time. Gravedigger has his back to Silence as he is starting at Lantlas now, and his expression quickly changes from anger to surprise.
Gravedigger finds that his legs are no longer under him, and gravity does its job. Gravedigger lands flat on his back after a chop block from Silence. ‘THE LEGS!!!’ The voice of The Voice can be heard even over the cheering/jeering of the fans, and Silence seems to acknowledge. He quickly begins to stomp on the left leg of Gravedigger, and then follows it up with a stepover toe hold on the tree trunk that is Gravedigger’s leg. However, Gravedigger once again shows his immense power, as he begins to drag himself across the ring, causing Silence to let go of his leg lock.
Gravedigger stands up, and ducks a running lariat from Silence, before level Silence with a lariat of his own. He begins to advance, but Murdoc has had enough and he begins to yell at Gravedigger. Gravedigger picks up Silence, taking him over to the corner. A few closed-fisted shots to the head by Gravedigger, a warning by ‘Dick’ Stevens, and a tag made to Murdoc.
Lantlas has had enough, and he runs into the ring. He clotheslines Murdoc to the mat, and then knocks Gravedigger off of the apron. Murdoc is up again, and he ducks a clothesline from the World Champion. He hits Lantlas with a few sets of Mongolian chops, and then turns to Silence, who is up now. The although tall Murdoc runs right into the chest of Silence, and is then choke tossed across the ring for his troubles.
‘SIILLEENNCCEE!’ chimes out through the arena, which causes Silence to look and see The Voice backing away from Gravedigger. Silence quickly tags in Lantlas, and then climbs out of the ring over the top rope to protect his manager.
Gravedigger spaces out, not realizing that Silence is coming, thinking he is occupied by Murdoc. Gravedigger is spun around by Silence, and then gets nailed with a throat thrust from the Reticent Raider. The Voice lifts up the mat on the floor, while Silence continues with the throat thrusts, sending Gravedigger stumbling back. Silence somehow lifts Gravedigger up and sidewalk slams him onto the exposed concrete! Silence stands up and roars to the crowd, a roar so deafening a lion would cower.
Back in the ring, Lantlas has Marcus Murdoc in a precarious position. The World Champion has Murdoc in a full nelson, and he follows it up with a full nelson slam. Lantlas makes the cover. One...two...thre...and Murdoc gets a shoulder up. Lantlas curses for a second, thinking he had Murdoc there, and he picks up his opponent.
A quick roundhouse kick from Lantlas sets ‘The Prophet’ off balance, and takes advantage by bending him over, and delivering a sitout piledriver. Lantlas makes the cover, one..two...and Murdoc kicks out again. What resilience by the former International Champion!
Silence and Gravedigger had somehow made their way to the stage, and were battling back and forth. A complete pier-six brawl. The Voice standing a fair distance away, screaming orders at Silence, but they seem to be to no avail. Gravedigger appears to be gaining the upper hand on Silence. Gravedigger grabs Silence around the throat and signals for a Chokeslam, yet Silence kicks Gravedigger in the gut.
Silence bends down, placing his head between Gravedigger’s legs. He attemps to lift up, to position Gravedigger for the Silencer, yet Gravedigger refuses to budge. Gravedigger counters by hoisting Silence up, and powerbombing him onto the stage! Gravedigger stands over Silence, and then sets his sights on The Voice, who quickly runs back toward the ring.
Speaking of the ring, inside of it, Marcus Murdoc was starting to regain on Lantlas. A quick Fifth Nail, reminiscent of a move delivered by Lassie earlier in the night, a Polish hammer, knocks Lantlas flat on his back. The pin is made, one..two...and the Polish hammer has failed to put away the user’s opponent for the second time. The Voice is now circling the ring, Gravedigger stalking him. The Voice attempts to establish as much distance as possible between him and Gravedigger, by taking a shortcut through the ring, running right past the downed Champion and Marcus Murdoc.
The Voice runs back toward the ramp, and Gravedigger turns on his heels to follow. Lantlas and The Prophet are both trying to get to their feet, obviously tired from battling for the past minutes. The Prophet tries to get sneaky, and goes for another Fifth Nail, yet it is ducked by Lantlas!
Lantlas manages to hoist Murdoc up onto his shoulders, getting him in position for the Flame of the West, but Murdoc manages to riggle out. He quickly applies an iron claw to the shoulders of Lantlas, bringing the Champion to one knee. Lantlas cries out in defiance, and fights his way back up onto his feet. Marcus Murdoc releases his shoulder claw, and gets toe kicked. Lantlas thrusts the head of Murdoc under his legs, and delivers an Elvish Tale! Lantlas makes the pin..one..two...three! Lantlas and Silence pick up the victory.
Winner
Run Away! Run Away!
Details: As Lantlas stands in the ring victorious, The Voice runs right past the place where Silence should have been, but wasn’t anymore. The heads into the backstage area, Gravedigger still following him, the cameras following as well. As The Voice runs into a corner, Gravedigger approaches, and is just about a foot away from demolishing The Voice, when The Voice points to something behind Gravedigger. Gravedigger turns, and amazingly, Silence appears out of nowhere and nails The Voice with a running big boot! Silence stands over Gravedigger for the second week in a row, while The Voice looks on laughing...
