Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
Show Introduction
Details: We’re greeted to a live shot of the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, and Saliva’s, “Survival of the Sickest” is playing as a massive pyrotechnics display is shown. Once the pyro dies down, Jerry Andrews and Michael “The Man” Williams welcomes the viewers to the show and gives a quick card rundown. Following that, with Glenda Wood already standing in the ring, the first match is introduced.
Match One: North American Championship Tournament Quarter Finals
Singles Match
Tyrone “Crazy Boy” Smith vs. Pegasus
Referee: Roberto Garcia
Match Details: Tyrone has had somewhat of an up and down PCW career thus far. In his first match within the promotion, he and, now-former PCW Superstar, Jarrod Walls defeated then-PCW World Tag Team Champions 2Guys in around thirteen seconds to have a chance at squaring off in the Gauntlet for the Gold Match at PCW Clash for the Championships. Later that same night, he was attacked by his Jarrod before he even had a chance to compete in the match. After losing to Lantlas in a World Title Match the next week, the following week after that he annihilated Jarrod Walls in under a minute. He followed that win with a loss to James Keenan. So, it’s far to say, his career thus far has been tumultuous.
Pegasus is in a similar boat, for he has had some incredible showings as of late, but he has yet to take the hammer to smash through the class ceiling that has seemingly plagued him for months. As luck will have it, both of these competitors have faced off with each other before in another promotion, so they know each other pretty well. During that time, Pegasus seemed to be on the receiving end of a loss. But Pegasus had done a lot of growing up in his PCW career, having been multiple time champion, including winning the PCW World Championship. But will the outcome be same, as both get their chance to continue a path to PCW greatness, with the winner advancing to the Semi-Finals of the PCW North American Championship Tournament?
Tyrone, who has been somewhat disoriented as of late, came to the ring first, with a good mixture of jeers and cheers. It seemed as a quarter of the audience wanted to cheer, another half wanted to jeer, and the remaining fifty-percent didn’t cheer or jeer at all. Once he made his way entrance, Glenda Wood, subbing in for the injured Mark Long, introduced Pegasus. Pegasus emerged from the back with an abundance of cheers from the crowd, which is to be expected for a PCW Hall of Famer of Pegasus’s magnitude. Once Pegasus made his way to the ring, the bell was sounded and the match began.
Crazy Boy walked up to Pegasus and began jaw-jacking and then started the action by throwing a left-hand to the face of Pegasus. Unfortunately for Pegasus, that wasn’t going to be the end of his beat-down. For the majority of the match, we saw Pegasus trying to defend himself from the attack being delivered by the somewhat delirious Tyrone Smith. On an average, every ten moves Tyrone got in Pegasus was able to deliver two; not a good stat to see if you’re a Pegasus supporter.
At the eleven-or so-minute mark, after a match that saw Tyrone hit Pegasus with both the Crazy Drop and the Crazy Slam, Tyrone picked up the pinfall victory over the former PCW World Champion, moving on to the Final Four in the North American Championship Tournament.

Skylar Guarantees A Hostile Takeover
Details:[/b] Following the match, the unfamiliar sound of, “My Way” by Limp Bizkit begins to play. The fans are confused to as who will be coming out to this music, but their confusion is turned to disgust, as the person coming out to the music is none other than Skylar Marshall.
Skylar comes walking to the ring, steel briefcase in hand, and as he does so, Glenda Wood introduces him. After making it down to the ring and entering through the top and second ropes, he reaches for, and is rewarded the microphone from Glenda.
Skylar announces that inside his briefcase is the signed contract of Ace Anderson, who he says will get a shot at the PCW World Championship at the next Pay-Per-View. Speaking of the next Pay-Per-View, Skylar announces that the next Pay-Per-View is scheduled for the 22nd of April; the name of the Pay-Per-View being that of Hostile Takeover.
Skylar guarantees that Ace Anderson will defeat Lantlas for the World Championship, and with that victory, he guarantees that he will finally have taken the PCW back in the direction it should be in. “But don’t call it a hostile takeover, just call it a necessary takeover.”
The fans, at that point, started cheering for first Lantlas, and then Grimm. Skylar said that getting Lantlas the championship was something that was a must for him to position Ace at a chance for the title. As for Grimm, Grimm’s not even on the radar for a title shot, and that he definitely has something in store for Grimm tonight, so be on the look out.
And with that, we’re brought to a commercial break.
Match Two: 6-Person Tag Team Match
2Guys & “Heavy Metal” Jacob Roth vs. Michael Reaper, “The Conformist Killer” Bob Diehard, & Bison
Referee: Steve Shaw
Match Details: The unique pairing of this match was that Roth was teaming with 2Guys, the two men he (and Pegasus) defeated not too long ago, and the pairing of Bob Diehard, Michael Reaper, and a returning Bison.
Wait, what? Bison never showed up? I guess that rumored long-term deal he was expecting to sign will never happen now. I guess his demons are continuing to catch up to him. But as they say, the show must go on, right? So, now we have a match of Michael Reaper and Bob Diehard squaring off against 2Guys and Jacob Rot; a handicap match. But the question is who has the handicap; Michael Reaper and Bob Diehard missing a partner or Jacob Roth teaming with 2Guys?
Following the commercial break, Jacob and 2Guys were introduced first, and all three men came out together to 2Guys’s theme, showing a bit of camaraderie. After they made their way into the ring, Michael Reaper was introduced and then Bob Diehard. Bob Diehard went onto the outside first, and Jacob Roth went into the ring first. Once we had our competitors to start the match, the bell was sounded.
The start of this match was similar to the start of the last time Michael Reaper and Jacob Roth squared off in the ring: Michael trying blows to Jacob and Jacob using his quickness to stick-and-move. Unfortunately for Jacob, his blows to Reaper had little effects, and when Jacob scaled the ropes to deliver a cross-body block, Reaper caught him and slammed him to the mat hard with a falling Powerslam. He quickly tried to make the pin, but Jacob kicked out at one.
For the next several moments, Michael Reaper worked on, “The Rookie Sensation.” Bobby urged to get a tag, and once he did, he worked over Jacob Roth for awhile as well. But when Jacob started to make a comeback at around the six-minute mark by reversing a few strikes, Bob quickly decided to make a tag out.
Michael Reaper came in, but Roth had already reached his second wind. Roth begin quickly dodging Reaper’s blows, and then took down the big man with two chop-blocks, and then a missile dropkick from the top rope. The force of the dropkick propelled Michael to the corner parallel to his opponents’. Roth tagged in Jackle. Jackle came in and delivered a strong clothesline in the corner. He quickly tagged out to Menace, and both members of 2Guys did an impossible showing of strength, by grabbing Michael and placing him in a double Suplex. Both Menace and Jackle walked over to their corner, and Menace tagged in Heavy Metal.
As Heavy Metal was getting ready to enter the ring, Bob Diehard jumped inside. But as soon as Roth got in, Bob decided otherwise, and quickly left back outside of the ring. Welp, he didn’t just leave back to the ring apron, he decided to walk all the way up the ramp, and then back into the backstage, allowing his partner to be pinned by Roth after Roth nailed him with The Air Guitar at the nine minute and forty-nine second mark. The scene fades to a commercial following the match.

Positioning for a Championship Run
Details: {Trauma comes back from commercial and is in the backstage area where Loco is standing by, but is turned facing off screen.}
Loco: You know something my little Locquitos???? It was a meer three weeks ago when Jade was riding high with her second consecutive victory over Destiny Willard. Then we fast forward to last week.
{Loco turns and faces the camera.}
Loco: The Jaded One, was on the short end of a long ass kicking that Destiny had given to her. But that wasn't the end of it, ohh no. That no good Ace Anderson had a good assist in that as well. Funny how Ace had to attack a woman. That brings us to this week. Due to Jade's injuries Da Loc One has been entered into a tournament for the Pure Class wrestling North American Championship. My first opponent is James Keenan.
{Loco smiles}
Loco: James, you are no stranger to championships, I know your history here and I am not a stranger to them as well. I see your someone not to be taken likely. Which I will not and I will bring my best to you in our match. And once the smoke clears and your shown laying there on your back, I will be moving on to the next round and wait to see just who I have to beat to place myself into the finals and bring home my first singles title here in PCW.
A TODA MADRE, O UN DIS MADRE!!!!
Match Three: North American Championship Tournament Quarter Finals
Singles Match
James Keenan vs. Loco
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: The match began with both competitors meeting in the center of the ring in a stare-down. Both men very determined to win the tournament and be crowned North American Champion. After about ten seconds of staring lovingly (not so much) into each others eyes, Loco breaks the tension with a slap across the face to James Keenan. Keenan rubs his cheek and returns the favor, causing the two to break out in a Pier-Six Brawl.
Right hands from Keenan sent Loco back to the ropes. Loco turned the tides by throwing Keenan against the ropes and delivering lefts and rights of his own. Loco lunged forward and tackled Keenan to the mat, but Travis Wilson got in the middle of the two, warning them not to use closed fists and all of that jabber.
The two men stood up, fire still in their eyes, and they tied up in the middle of the ring. Keenan managed to hook Loco in a side headlock, but after a few elbows to the gut, Keenan found himself being shot off the ropes. Loco went for a clothesline in the middle of the ring, but Keenan ducked and found himself behind Loco, his opponent in a waist lock. Keenan took down Loco with a nice belly-to-back suplex, and quickly locked in a stepover toehold facelock.
Loco managed to break the hold after about fifteen seconds, just barely making it to the ropes. Keenan stayed on the offensive for much of the match, until Loco managed to counter a piledriver into a back body drop. Loco dropped a quick elbow on Keenan, and waited for him to get to his feet. Keenan stood up, and Loco hit him with the Loc Slap, which caused Keenan to be a bit frustrated. However, before Keenan could react, Loco mounted an offensive. He managed to hit a Loco DDT and a Reverse Loco DDT. Loco then continued his offensive, but as he went for a high risk maneuver in his Super Loco DDT, James Keenan managed to turn the tides by sidestepping, and he never looked back.
Various DDTs came from James Keenan, including an Evenflow DDT and a Doublearm DDT, making the crowd wonder if it was DDTs for fifty cent week, but the match was still entertaining nonetheless. After hitting a powerbomb, Keenan went for the cover, but Loco managed to get the shoulder up at two. Keenan got up and began arguing with Travis Wilson, which gave Loco time to recover, and enough time to roll up James Keenan.
Travis Wilson got down for the count, but Keenan narrowly escaped at two and a half. Loco got up and charged Keenan, who ducked, and as Loco turned around, Keenan nailed him with the Closing Song! That was all she wrote for Loco, who was defeated after James Keenan pinned and became the second man to move on in the North American Title tournament.

Match Four: No Holds Barred
Singles Match
Grimm vs. “Fast Count” Eddie Lane
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: There wasn’t much to call this match going in, except maybe an execution. At least, that’s what the fans expected. Is that what they received? Wait and see. The match started with much begging and a bit of bargaining on Eddie Lane’s side, with maybe even an offer to make a fast count to allow Grimm to win. Grimm flashed his devious grin, and brought a fist down right into the face of Eddie Lane. From that point on, the match, as expected, was all Grimm. There was no wrestling, only pain.
Grimm began the match with a few clubs to the back and neck, and then a few stomps to the ribs and legs. It seemed he had a plan. Make sure Eddie Lane woke up the next morning wishing he had never been born. It only took a few moments, but Grimm finally decided to bring out the weaponry. After Eddie Lane was down on the mat after a times getting his face smashed into the turnbuckle, Grimm went to the floor and reached under the ring. He came out with a steel chair, which he threw into the ring, and a steel shovel.
As Grimm was climbing into the ring, he was surprised to find Eddie Lane with some gusto, the chair raised and ready to swing. The swing, however, was pitiful, and Grimm managed to duck under it. This left Eddie Lane off balance, and Grimm nailed him in the gut with the shovel. Eddie dropped the chair and keeled over, and before he knew it, he was being choked out with the shovel. Grimm let go after a few seconds, leaving Eddie Lane in a gasping heap on the mat. Grimm walked around the ring, spitting and sniffing like a real man would.
Grimm didn’t waste much time, though. He really wanted Eddie Lane dead. He began to deliver more stomps, when he got a great idea. He picked the chair, and attached it to Eddie Lane’s ankle. Grimm mounted the top rope, and proceeded with a brutal Pillman-izing. Eddie Lane screamed out in pain, as Grimm pinned him with one foot on his chest. Eddie Lane kept his shoulders down, as he was just glad to get the whole thing over with, and began counting his blessings.
However, before Tyrone Little reached the count of three, Grimm lifted his foot. Grimm picked up the chair that he had placed on Eddie’s ankle, and he raised it to give Eddie a further beating. Grimm brought the chair down once, twice, but as Grimm was enjoying beating down Eddie Lane, a mysterious man ran down to the ring. The crowd began to boo, and as Grimm turned around, he just happened to have the chair in such a position that it was super kicked right into his face! Grimm fell backward, and the mystery man draped Grimm over Eddie Lane as Tyrone Little made the count. Grimm came out victorious but unconscious, the last two Traumas he spent in attendance not ending so well for him. The feed then faded to a commercial.
Winner
Finnegan “The Irish Phoenix” Burke
Details: (Following the commercial, we open up with Skylar Marshall smiling in his office as he watches a replay of what had happened to Grimm in his last match. All of a sudden, through Skylar’s door is the man who just attacked Grimm. The man intensely walks over to Skylar and speaks in a very Irish accent.)
Man: I done did what you bloody asked me to do! Now give me what I want!
(Skylar gets up out of his desk and leans forward to talk to the man.)
Skylar Marshall: You did good and I’m a man of my word. So next week, instead of Bison, we will see you, Finnegan “The Irish Phoenix” Burke, square off against “Heavy Metal” Jacob Roth in the North American Championship Tournament Quarter Finals Match. And as per request, the match will be a No Holds Barred Match. Nice doing business with you, and welcome to the PCW.
(The man we now-know as Finnegan Burke looks at a now-outreached hand of Skylar Marshall and then he stares back in Skylar’s face. Without ever shaking the hand, he storms out of the office.)
Skylar Marshall: Man is he intense.
(The feed then fades away to the ring for the next match.)
Match Five: Handicap Match
Lantlas (World Champion) vs. “The Tragic Princess” Destiny Willard &
"Beyond Greatness" Ace Anderson
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: We are now brought to our second handicap match of the night. But unlike the earlier match which was a Two-on-Three Tag Format Handicap Match, this one was a One-on-Two Handicap Match, which we now learned was under Tornado Tag Rules.
The World Champion came out to the ring first, receiving a thunderous ovation. He wasted no time in handing over his World Championship and waited for his opponents to come down to the ring. Both Destiny and Ace came out together to, “Pain Redefined” by Disturbed. They slowly made their way to the ring, but once they reached ringside, Lantlas wasted no time and took off outside of the ring by diving over the top rope and onto his two opponents with a Suicide Dive.
With the match never officially starting, Lantlas went right to work. He took Destiny first, and maybe as retribution for Jade, he whipped her right into the steel ringsteps head first. The force of which her head hit the ringsteps caused an indent to occur on them and for her to immediately be busted open from the top of her head. Lantlas then turned to his former(?) friend and tossed him inside the ring. When he followed Ace into the ring, Referee Richard Stevens signaled for the bell, and the match officially got underway.
Lantlas went and grabbed Ace to his feet, but Ace went with a thumb to Lantlas’s right eye. Lantlas, temporarily blinded, didn’t see Ace coming, and Ace delivered a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. He quickly went to stomping on Lantlas, with the fans jeering him to levels we haven’t heard since the first time these two locked up.
Ace walked over to the corner and then removed the top turnbuckle pad, exposing the steel note to the world. Dick Stevens quickly began to warn Ace about the turnbuckle and then went to try and tie it back up. While Dick was preoccupied with the turnbuckle pad, Ace slipped out of the ring and shoved Glenda Wood from the cheer she was sitting on. Grabbing the steel folding chair, he took it with him as he rolled back into the ring.
When back in the ring, Ace lifted the chair over his head to nail Lantlas with it, but Lantlas went and speared Mr. Anderson to the mat. This got the fans on their feet with an instant ovation. Lantlas stayed on-top of Ace and started delivering tons of rights and lefts to the face of Ace. He then lifted Ace up and nailed him with a scoop slam. Referee Richard Stevens has finally gotten the turnbuckle pad on and turns around to see Lantlas pinning Ace. He makes the count, but it only gets a two before Ace kicks out.
However, we forgot the other person in this match being Destiny Willard. With a head of hair red with blood, Destiny slowly slides back into the ring. With Lantlas’s back turned towards her, he never sees her grabbing the steel chair that had been lying on the mat. In one quick motion, Destiny brings down the chair over the back-neck area of Lantlas. Richard Stevens immediately signals for the bell, calling for a disqualification.

Standing Tall
Details: Destiny freaks out for having been disqualified yet again in a match, and she nails Dick Stevens with the chair. She is about to bring the chair down again to hit Lantlas, but he pops up and clotheslines her right out of her ring boots. He then turns his attention back to Ace Anderson, but he had already slipped out of the ring and was heading up the ramp. The feed fades with the two staring each other down; Ace from the top of the entranceway and Lantlas from inside the ring.
