Live on E! from the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
Show Introduction
Details: We’re greeted to a live shot of the Pure Class Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, as Saliva’s, “Survival of the Sickest” is playing and a massive pyrotechnics display is shown. As the pyro dies down, out of the blue, and before Jerry Andrews and Mike Williams can run down the card, “Survival of the Sickest” fades right into Mutemath’s, “Reset.” This could only mean the arrival of former PCW World Champion Grimm. And it is. Grimm steps from behind the entrance curtain and there isn’t any pyro or his custom ring entrance; just focus.
Grimm purposely walked down the entrance ramp, with a steel chair in hand, and when he made it down the aisle, he tossed the chair into the ring and then climbed up the ringsteps. Once in the ring he props up the chair and reaches for Glenda Wood, who is still subbing for an injured Mark Long and standing on the outside of the ring. Glenda backs up, but Grimm yells out to give him the microphone. Once she gives him the microphone “Reset” fades out, and Grimm, who is not known as a big talker, begins to speak.
Sitdown Protest
Details: Grimm: Here’s the deal; Trauma is a two-hour show and unless Skylar Marshall gets his ass out here to face me man-to-man, I’m going to sit right here all night!
(Grimm, a man of very few words, then drops the microphone and takes a seat in the chair he propped up. The fans are going wild with their applauds, just waiting to see if Skylar Marshall plans on coming out.)
Jerry Andrews: Welcome everybody to Tuesday Trauma. As you can see, Grimm came out from the backstage area to open the show with a challenge for Skylar Marshall to come out and face him like a man.
Michael “The Man” Williams: What is Grimm doing? This is an outrage. We need to get him out of the ring! We have a show to start, you know!
Jerry Andrews: I really don’t think Grimm cares about that.
(Grimm, for the first time in about a minute and a half, gets out of his chair and grabs the microphone he dropped. He picks it up, and sits back down and speaks into it.)
Grimm: I’m waiting!
(The fans continue to cheer him on. Seconds later, instead of, “My Way” by Limp Bizkit blaring throughout the arena, which would signal the arrival of PCW President Skylar Marshall, we are met with, “The Light That Blind” by Shadows Falls begin to play. From out of the back comes a confused Tyrone “Crazy Boy” Smith.)
Jerry Andrews: The plan I guess, which I am being told by the directors in the back, is that we’re going to attempt to start this first match-up.
Mike Williams: It’s going to be really hard to do that with Grimm sitting there in the ring.
(Tyrone Smith continues to walk his way down to the ring, with Grimm not flinching, not moving a muscle.)
Jerry Andrews: I don’t know what to think of this. We just got PCW Official Tim Jones now in the ring, so I guess they’re going to try and start the first match…
Mike Williams: But with Grimm in the middle of ring?!
Jerry Andrews: I don’t know, Mike. Grimm isn’t going anywhere.
Mike Williams: And what about Tyrone? We got Crazy Boy and he doesn’t know what to make of it. This is big time for him. He’s got a chance to become PCW North American Champion and is definitely trying to make a name for himself, but we got a selfish Grimm in the ring, not moving.
(Tyrone finally makes his way into the ring and he immediately walks up to Grimm and begins trying to talk some sense into him.)
Jerry Andrews: He’s trying to reason with him, which is probably the best thing for him to do.
Mike Williams: I’m not a lip-reader, but it looks to be that he’s saying that this is an opportunity for him and is asking him to kindly leave the ring.
Jerry Andrews: Grimm is engineering a one-man sit-in and he is not budging.
(Tyrone gets a little bit more animated in the way he’s speaking to Grimm. He places his hand on Grimm’s shoulder in trying to explain to him what’s going on, but that turned out to be a bad move. Grimm quickly gets up from out of his chair, grabs Tyrone, and then does The Harvest onto him.)
Jerry Andrews: Oh my God! Grimm just nailed Tyrone Smith with The Harvest!
(Immediately PCW Officials and security come pouring from out of the back and rush the ring. They all begin to hold Grimm back, while he’s trying to lay the boots into Tyrone. But with his back turned towards a section of the crowd, he has no idea that jumping over the guardrail is Finnegan “The Irish Phoenix” Burke.)
Mike Andrews: Look! Look! It’s Finnegan!
(Finnegan jumps into the ring and blindsides Grimm from behind with a clothesline. The officials began to flee in terror as Finnegan threatens them, and Finnegan goes down and tries to lift Grimm up by the head. Unfortunately for him, the time he wasted intimidating the officials gave Grimm an opportunity to regain himself and when Finnegan reaches down to grab him, Grimm nails him in the midsection. With a now-hunched over Finnegan, Grimm backs up a little bit and nails him with a knee right to the face. The force of the blow caused Finnegan to fly up and backwards, and he flipped right over the top rope onto the outside. Grimm’s not done however, for he then jumps right over the top rope and lands on Finnegan. He begins to level into him until the security and officials come out to separate them.)
Jerry Andrews: What a way to start the show!
Match One: North American Championship Tournament Semi-Finals
Singles Match
James Keenan vs. Tyrone “Crazy Boy” Smith
Referee: Tim Jones
Match Details: With the action still going occurring on the outside, James Keenan becomes opportunistic and charges the ring. Tim Jones is the only official who didn’t leave the ring. Tyrone begins to try and get onto his feet at about the same time James slides into the ring. Tyrone gets onto his feet, but James runs to the ropes and then comes flying with a Closing Song. James immediately pins Tyrone Smith and gets Tim Jones makes the count. Three mat pounds later, James Keenan is declared the victor and moves onto Hostile Takeover with a chance of becoming the new PCW North American Champion. We then head to a commercial break.
Winner
During the commercial…
Details: During the commercial we see that Grimm and Burke had been separated and are no-longer at ringside. We’re then told, because of the chaos that just happened, the second match of the night, which was suppose to be Grimm and Heavy Metal vs. 2Guys, will be swapped with the third match of the evening, which is Ace Anderson vs. Michael Reaper.
Match Two: Singles Match
“Beyond Greatness” Ace Anderson vs. Michael Reaper
Referee: Travis Wilson
Match Details: As Ace Anderson made his way to the ring, Pure Class Arena may have possibly set a World Record for decibel count while booing a person, as nobody in the building could even hear themselves think. But what else could be expected after what Ace Anderson had done the previous week and said in his last promotional appearance?
Michael Reaper came to the ring to much appreciation and cheering on, as they really wanted to see somebody give Ace Anderson a taste of his own medicine. And at that point, who better to do it than Michael Reaper? He had four inches and twenty pounds on Ace Anderson, and was obviously just itching for a way to make a name for himself and really turn some heads. A victory over the hotter than hot Ace Anderson would be just the way to do it.
The two mountains of men met in the middle of the mat, locking up at collar and elbow. Ace Anderson pushed, Michael Reaper shoved, and neither gained an advantage. Not until Ace Anderson managed to shift his position and get his knee up into the gut of Michael Reaper. Reaper, winded, let go of his grasp on Anderson, which allowed for Ace to maneuver him into a side headlock. Ace delivered a few punches to the skull of Reaper, but stopped after a warning from referee Travis Wilson. Reaper, with nowhere to go, found a way to deliver a few shots to the gut of Ace Anderson, loosening the vicegrip on his head.
Reaper backed Ace into the ropes and launched him off, sending him to the other side of the ring, barreling back like a tank with legs. Both men met in the middle of the ring, going for a shoulder block, but neither budged. They stared each other down for a second, and both ran off opposite ropes, meeting once again in the middle of the ring with a shoulder block, however once more, neither man hit the mat.
“Beyond Greatness” screamed in the face of Michael Reaper for him to try it again, so they both ran off of the ropes. However, as they approached the point of no return, Ace managed to bail out, roll along the mat, and before Reaper could react, he ended up tripping on the six foot six log of muscle. Ace Anderson stood up, brushed himself off, moved his arms a little bit, and then pointed to his head. The crowd shit down his neck, and he loved every second of it.
He walked over to Reaper and began to stomp down on the neck area and abdomen of Michael Reaper, and as Reaper got to a sitting position, Ace snapped on a reverse chinlock. The crowd began to boo once more, and Michael Reaper began to get pumped up. The boos turned to claps of motivation for Reaper, who began smacking his boot off the mat. Reaper started to make his way to his feet, Ace Anderson trying desperately to keep the big monster down. As Reaper was to a kneeling position, Ace took his arm and attempted an arm wrench, however Reaper would have none of it.
With his opposite arm, he came across and clotheslined Ace Anderson down the mat, and was met with an explosion of approval. Reaper dropped a kneedrop onto Ace Anderson, and then locked him in an armbar. Ace Anderson cried out in pain, also much to the delight of the fans. After a few seconds in the hold, Ace managed to get to the ropes, and Reaper was forced to break. Reaper closed in on Ace Anderson, but Ace pulled Travis Wilson in the way! Reaper stopped in his tracks, and backed off, calling for Ace Anderson to get up and fight like a man.
Ace used Travis Wilson to pull himself to his feet, and Reaper charged. Ace, always aware, hit a drop toehold on Reaper, and then locked him in a camel clutch. Travis Wilson asked Reaper if he would give up, but Reaper refused. Eventually Ace let go of the camel clutch, and picked Reaper up to his feet. Ace signaled for one of his trademark moves, the Superior Stretch. Ace locked it in, smack dab in the middle of the ring. You could see the pain on Reaper’s face as the abdominal stretch/dragon sleeper combo was applied, and before long, it was too much even for the giant Michael Reaper. Travis Wilson called for the bell as Reaper tapped out at the eight minute and forty two second mark.

After the Match...
Details: Travis Wilson tried to get Ace to remove his hold on Reaper, ringing the bell multiple times. However, Ace just wouldn’t let go. At least, not until his rival, Lantlas, came running down to the ring. As Lantlas hit the ring, Ace hit the floor, and made his way around and up the ramp, facing Lantlas the entire time. Ace stopped at the top of the ramp and both men locked in a death stare as the feed cut to commercial.
Backstage Assault
Details: Following the commercial break, we could see Grimm walking backstage, ready to prepare himself for his match, which is next. As he’s walking, he is blindsided from behind by Finnegan Burke, who attacks him with a lead pipe. He used that pipe with a baseball bat-like swing to the back of the head. Then, while Phinehas is down, he begins attacking him with the pipe to his right leg.
As he is making his attack, you could hear him say, “This has nothing to do about favors, this is for last week! This is personal!” He continues his attack for a few moments until “Heavy Metal” Jacob Roth, Grimm’s (reluctant) tag team partner for the night, comes out to make the save. Finnegan backs off, and Roth checks on Grimm.
Roth begins to call out for help, and a medics charge the scene. Grimm is now bleeding from the back of his head and is holding his leg. They work on him and Roth has no choice but to head to the ring for his match. We’re then brought to another commercial break.
Match Three: Tag Team Match
2Guys vs. “Heavy Metal” Jacob Roth & Grimm
Referee: Steve Shaw
Match Details: With Grimm now taken out, Roth is left to square off against 2Guys in a Handicap Match. Fortunately for him, it IS 2Guys, and them two together is like half a person. Roth entered first and then awaited his opponents. The wait wasn’t long and 2Guys made their way from the back. After 2Guys had entered the ring, Roth had a few words with. It could be made out to say, “This isn’t anything personal.” Jackle stepped onto the apron and Menace and Roth started the match when the bell was sounded.
Roth immediately came in like a house on fire, and started destroying Menace. Roth had been training hard for this match, and it showed. He worked over Menace with a few high-impact dropkicks and then a few arm-drags. Menace rolled out of the ring. Heavy Metal took no chance and took down Jackle from the ring apron. He then went and scaled the top rope and leaped off with a big splash.
Roth then grabbed Menace and tossed him into the ring. He then scaled the top rope again and leaped off with The Air Guitar finisher. He then pinned Menace and was awarded the win with a three-count by Steve Shaw at the 4 minute and 47 second mark.
Match Four: Singles Match
Lantlas (World Champion) vs. Loco
Referee: Tyrone Little
Match Details: Making his second appearance of the night is the PCW World Champion Lantlas. He entered the ring first, which is unusual for a champion to do, but he seemed focused on trying to get this match up and out of the way, so that his attention to go back on his Hostile Takeover opponent Ace Anderson. After Lantlas was in the ring, Loco was announced. When Loco came out, he had his ribs tapped up, which was obviously caused by the attack he suffered last week by Ace Anderson. Once in the ring, the match begins.
Lantlas attacks quickly targeting the injured ribs with knees punches, and when Loco drops his arms to protect his ribs, Lantlas nails him with a ddt for a two count. Lantlas applies a bear-hug and when Loco ( Who is already bleeding from the mouth), goes for Lantlas' eyes, Lantlas turns it into an over head belly to belly suplex, for a close two. Lantlas, getting angry throws Loco into the corner, and, after a few right hands , walks to the other side of the ring, and goes for a running Stinger Splash but misses, hitting his head on the ringpost, Loco, in desperation gives Lantlas a double arm ddt, but further injures his ribs when Lantlas' shoulders hit his injured ribs when they hit the mat. Loco though, after about 11 seconds manages to roll over and cover Lantlas for a two count.Loco, favoring the ribs sets Lantlas up for a reverse DDT, but is elbowed in the ribs and forced to break the hold. Lantlas turns around and hits Loco with a Northern lights suplex, instead of turning it into a pinning combination, decides to go to the top rope and connects with a frog splash. Lantlas then finishes the in need of medical attention Loco with the Elvish Tale for three.
Winner
Match Five: North American Championship Tournament Semi-Finals
Singles Match
“The Conformist Killer” Bob Diehard vs. Finnegan “The Irish Phoenix” Burke
Referee: Richard Stevens
Match Details: Both men went into the match hungry, wanting to come out on top and move on to the finals of the North American Title Tournament. However, it would appear as though Finnegan Burke had other things on his mind, such a preoccupation with Grimm.
However, that was hardly the case. Burke came out firing, and he meant business. Plus, he was actually ready to wrestle Bob Diehard. As strange as it sounds, they started off the match in traditional fashion, a tie-up and then a transitional into some good ol’ fashioned chain wrestling. Burke started off with a side headlock, but Diehard reversed it into a hammerlock. Burke managed to break the hold and get his opponent into a top wristlock. A quick kick to the gut, and then a snapmare brought Burke to a sitting position. Diehard slapped on a sleeper hold, but Burke fought his way to his feet. Burke managed to whip Diehard off the ropes, who came back and was met with an arm drag. Diehard got up and Burke charged at him, and he met an arm drag from The Conformist Killer.
Both men popped to their feet, and received a nice pop from the crowd. They both shrugged their shoulders a little, loosened up, and then went right back to it. Burke stuck out his hand, as if to offer Diehard a test of strength, and Diehard accepted. They both began to try to overpower the other, with Burke gaining a slight upper hand. He managed to hit Diehard with a swinging neckbreaker, and then he went to work on his legs with a grapevine. Diehard struggled to break free, but managed to get loose. Burke didn’t waste any time, but as he went to pick Diehard up from the mat, Bob hit him with a few desperate punches to the gut.
Diehard managed to grab one of Burke’s arms, maneuver around into a hammerlock, and then bring Burke down with a back suplex. The fans gave him a nice applause. Diehard then went on the offensive, locking in a deathlock complete with a well-formed bridge. Burke refused to submit, however, and after the bridge was becoming too tiresome for Diehard, he let go. He took a few seconds to take a breather, and then went back to work.
After dropping a few elbow drops down onto Burke, Diehard headed to the top rope. He leaped off in a great looking moonsault, however Burke rolled out of the way! Diehard crashed into the mat, and Burke decided to use it to his advantage. He covered up Diehard. One ... two ... kick out! Not letting it phase him, Burke stood up, his body still aching a bit from the assault by Diehard. He tried to lock a sharpshooter in on Diehard, however he couldn’t manage to turn him over, and Diehard kicked him away. Right into referee Richard Stevens!
Richard Stevens went down, and Bob Diehard got up. He threw a punch at Burke, who blocked it, and threw back one of his own, rocking Diehard on his vertical base. Diehard shook off the effects of the punch and threw back one of his own, striking true on the skull of Burke. Burke, however, the brawler by nature, began to gain the upper hand, landing more frequent and more vicious blows to the face and neck of Diehard. Finnegan Burke took Diehard out at the legs, and locked in the Irish Cloverleaf. Diehard cried out in pain, but didn’t tap, not that there was a ref to ring the bell.
From the crowd came Phinehas Grimm, who jumped in the ring, cracked the unsuspecting Burke on the back with a steel shovel, and then hit him with a Harvest as he released Diehard and stood up! Grimm placed Diehard on top of Burke, gave Richard Stevens a slight nudge, and then high-tailed it out of there, message signed, sealed, and delivered.
Richard Stevens came to and saw the pin attempt, so he began to slap the mat. One ... two ... three! Bob Diehard advances, all thanks to one Abomination of Desolation.
