The scene opens, as the camera pans around an unclear building, spotted deeply into a boreal forest. Deep greens, and wonders beauty soar from horizon to horizon. Sounds of natures beautiful creatures perch above; the somewhat calm but steady winds. Time can not be stated, although with the moist air, and soft snow fall; this would give a person to believe the day was new. Perhaps just passed sunrise; possibly on the break before dawn. Either way, time was no factor in the purpose. The purpose was for you to find out.
The camera continued it’s pursuit towards the building. We can now identify the building as one used for storing old farm equipment. As the camera gets within close range of the building, something, or someone stops the focus of the cameraman. Quickly, the cameraman turns; attempting to catch the footage. From the viewer’s eyes, we notice the camera continuously jolt from side to side. Finally, the cameraman veers towards the house once more. However with only seconds passed, the same unusual sound is heard. The cameraman shoots back, having the same feelings from the previous encounter. This time however, the cameraman decides to go to where the noise was. The problem was, the voice wasn’t restful, the same voice jumped from area to area without a hint of movement. The cameraman continued his analysis; he set down the camera and sunk deep into the greens. The wait didn’t seem to last very long, because only seconds into the search of the mysterious noise, the view of Benjamin Banks feet are seen. Benjamin looks down at the camera, and then scratches his head.
Benjamin- This is odd, the camera is here, the shoot is here, and even the building is here. All I need is a reliable cameraman. You know, it’s hard to find a good cameraman that will venture into the forest. When I told this guy my idea of a shoot, I didn’t mean it literally. I guess I will have to do this one myself this time. Oh, and that brings to mind something else I had to do myself. You remember right? Last week I had to partner with Maddog and Chrissy. The only thing is, Maddog nor Chrissy didn’t do much tagging. They, for the most part sat back and watched me take on our opponents. Was I effected by the whole ordeal? No, not at all. I think I could have defeated the two of them single handedly. Then again, Maddog and Chrissy both need some wins to go along with their record. So I decided to be a nice guy and let them tag along. If I may, before I discuss what’s really on my mind; talk about my competitors. Byrd was really the only one involved in my match. The other two; by the way one of whom is facing me this Sunday at Deadly Intentions; did not compete. From what I learned being here in PCW is that to be Champions in any classification must desire the ability to take all matches just as important as the next. I have my doubts that after Deadly Intentions The Champions will be Champions no more. Now, I don’t want to waste any more of your time, so I have decided to go into that building and discuss a few details with you all. Lets go.
Benjamin grabs hold of the camera and with it sets forth to the building. While on route to the building, we capture the arms of Benjamin Banks swatting the vines, and twigs away from his path. When he gets in front of the building, he locates the doors than enters. At first site of the inside of the building, Benjamin is amazed as to how well kept the building is. He steps in, and walks around catching a first eyes glance at the beautiful display of newly kept farm equipment. Benjamin comments on the scene as he walks around.
Benjamin- Wow…look at this stuff. It’s truly remarkable to see that even through the years, the equipment is so well kept. I mean look at this cutting blade. I can see myself in the shaft. I doubt the farmer hardly ever used any of this. Perhaps he just cleans it after use. Either way, this place is amazing. The smell isn’t all that bad either, did they have air fresheners in 1892? I bet everybody in 1982 smelled like a daisy. *Benjamin giggles gently to himself*. So anyway like I was trying to do here today is talk about my upcoming match. I bet you are wondering why I chose this building as my place of footage. The reason is this. I know Mikey Wryght will be out to get me for winning last week, and showing no signs of weekness in PCW over the many weeks I been involved. This would give a man any reason to get aggravated. We all deal with it. So, why did I chose this house? I chose it because even with all of the harmful, and dangerous creatures in the forest. The change in generation, along with climate damage rates, this building has withstood all of these factors. I relate this to me, I faced some, which I believe are worse factors than most. I am still here today, talking about it; that’s more than I can say about some people. So if we go back to what I just mentioned. It’s clear to see that the building has been untouchable, like me. The building has been fierce, like me. Furthermore the building has been unbreakable, like the “Unbreakable” Benjamin Banks. So you see, there nothing tha…. Huh?
The sound of a door swings open, Benjamin turns; looking back. The cameraman steps in from the outside. He is shivering something fierce. Benjamin walks up to him and throws his jacket to cover the mans torso.
Benjamin- What in gods name happened to you? Did you fall into a lake your all wet.
Cameraman- No, I heard a noise and decided to check it out. When I got deep into the forest I couldn’t find my way back. I panicked a bit, which drove me into an all out sprint. Before I knew it I had tripped and fallen, I went out like a light. When I woke up, I was freezing, then I seen a light from the distant. I figured it was you, and now I’m here.
Benjamin- Alright, well can you stand behind the camera and video tape me. I’ll let you keep the jacket.
Cameraman- Yeah, that’s what I’m here for.
The cameraman sets up behind the camera, and focuses in on Benjamin Banks. Benjamin locates a small workshop table, and takes a seat behind it. He pulls out an envelope, and then sets it flat on that table. When Benjamin signals, telling the cameraman he’s ready, the cameraman makers the count.
Cameraman- Were live in 5...4...3...2……
Benjamin- Something has occurred just today, I was making my way home from Ottawa, where I was doing a commercial for Sprite. I walked up to the front door, when something in the mailbox caught my eye. It was an envelope. I hold it now, and inside is a small note, and a check. I will not reveal the amount because I don’t think the amount should be mentioned. Plus it makes no point to mention it. To carry on, this envelope was sent directly to me from Mikey Wryght himself. I will read the letter now to you.
Dear Mr. Banks...
Let’s make a deal!
I understand by now that you must be having second thoughts about showing up to our match coming Deadly Intentions...This feeling is natural and honestly it’s just your conscious telling you the right thing.
But many people do not like the way that this looks...Let me assure you that it is okay, and to even make this even easier for you I will right you a check for two...That is about...One forth of your yearly salary around here at Pure Class Wrestling. The check included will be dated for December 12th.
If you show up the check will be cancelled and if you don’t then have a Happy Holidays.Do what right for yourself, get something nice for yourself...Maybe some respectable clothes...Or even some reading lessons! Honestly do what ever with the money, just do what’s right for yourself and stay home.Sincerely...
“Mr. Showtime” Mikey Wryght.
Benjamin leans back into his chair, and looks irately at the floor. With only moments on wait, the anger from Benjamin kicked in. He ripped the letter, breaking it down into small little pieces. When Benjamin regains his sense of self, he jolts back toward the camera.
Benjamin- So you see, he thinks I will commit to money and not participating during this week at Deadly Intention. If I was a filthy human being, I may think about it, but you know. This isn’t how I want my fans to think of me, as a filthy man. They look up to me, and I know because I do read letters sent to me by them. Unlike some other wrestlers, I do take time in appreciating the fact that if there were no fans, we wouldn’t have this job. To leave that for another day, I would like to continue on about Mikey Wryght. Now Mikey, you conceder yourself Mr. Showtime, well here is some Showtime for you. I am going to be proposing this to you. I will not send a letter; I want you to hear it directly from me. I am proposing a deal for you. The deal is this, this upcoming week at Deadly Intentions; I will be putting my love for this life on the line. That is right; I will leave PCW after Deadly Intentions for good if you defeat me. However, if cheated upon, through any manner of violence, I will be facing you again. The only way for you to have me gone for good, is to defeat me fairly. On the other side, I am going to be proposing this to you, are you willing to risk something of your value to me. If I defeat you, I will be taking your one year salary, and giving it to those who need it more. Don’t worry; your tag partner will share his funds with you I’m sure. After hearing all of this, I am certain your feeling a bit perplexed over what just happened. I want to fully explain my losing end of the deal to you, just to give it more depth. My loss in the deal is this; I will leave the PCW entirely, and never return under any circumstances. Perhaps your wondering why I would offer this, well the reason is. I would not respect my work if you defeated me. One of my beliefs are you will pay for your sins at the hands of Benjamin Banks. You have performed one of the biggest sins I’ve encountered since I’ve been in PCW. If I cannot do in which I offered the fans, I have no purpose being in PCW. Letting the fans down would be a sin in itself. I will strive with all of my heart and soul, to bring to the crowd what I offer. If I don’t then I guess there’s another life out there for me. So, did you hear all of that Mikey. My fate is in your hands, how will you decide to DEAL with this one.
Benjamin unravels his arms from each other, as they were crossed in an aggressive manner. Benjamin stands from his seat, and continues to walk around the building. It seems he is looking for a specific item, although he looking as though he himself has no idea what it is. But before long Benjamin turns around and sits back down.
Benjamin- Mikey Wryght, I have one more thing to say, and that’s this………. Hmmm actually you know what. I’ve said all I’ve needed to say, I’ll be praying for you.
The seen cuts from present, to snow then to black.
